From YouTube: Diagnostics WG meeting - May 20, 2020
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
A
Okay,
then
just
add
it
to
the
doc
and
we
can
discuss
okay,
let's
start
with
the
first
one,
I
added
that
one
I
already
commented
on
the
github
issue.
That
I
would
like
to
discuss
it
today,
but
unfortunately
my
focus
really
changed
at
my
daily
job
at
Netflix,
and
because
of
that,
it's
just
really
hard
for
me
to
dedicate
time
and
focus
to
this
working
group
and
I
believe
that
this
working
group
would
deserve
someone
who
is
more
passionate
and
dedicated
to
orchestrating
it.
A
So
I
would
like
to
discuss
how
kind
of
step
down
from
the
chairmanship
and
the
election,
the
new
chairman
would
work
and
what's
the
timeline
for
that
I
mean
Alice
is
not
it
like.
If
you
can
do
it
now,
it's
not
like
something
that
I
would
just
drop
it
and
like
so
I
can
still
do
it
until
we
don't
find
a
new
one.
You
know
I,
don't
know
how
many
people
would
be
interested
or
what
the
protests
I
asked
matters
privately.
A
B
D
A
A
Okay,
I
guess:
I
will
open
a
github
issue,
I
guess
the
minimum
from
from
my
side
and
I
guess
we
should
pay
other
people,
I
mean
obviously
I
would
be
interested
now
hearing
who
is
interested
but
I
guess
we
should
pink
the
group
in
that
issue,
because
maybe
someone
is
not
here
who
is
interested
I,
don't
know
those
kind
of
things.
So
I
will
do
that
open
issue,
but.
B
As
far
as
I'm
concerned,
looking
back
at
my
engagement,
this
diagnostic
working
group,
I,
can
say
that
I
mean
they
had
times
when
we
did
not
have
enough
participation,
so
so
many
items
in
the
plate,
but
not
enough
traction
and
things
like
that.
At
least
at
this
point,
I'm
happy
that
we
have
a
handful
of
folks
who
are
motivated,
who
are
able,
take
up
the
work
and
who
are
discussing,
and
things
like
that.
That's
my
key
motivation,
not
really
keen
to
run
as
a
chair
or
anything.
B
A
C
Yeah
Peter,
if
you,
if
you
open
an
issue
just
put
it
in
and
you
know,
say
that
Therese
and
Mateus
have
have
volunteered,
but
is
anybody
else
interested
that
would
probably
cover
it
and
in
unless
somebody
else
says,
hey
I
really
want
to
do
it.
Then
we
must
move
forward
with
the
two
of
them
doing
that
then.
A
In
terms
of
timeline
I'm
going
to
open
that
issue
right
after
this
meeting,
I
will
say
that
earlier
that
matters
in
jurors
will
be
interested
and
interested
in
a
khole
operation
as
well
and
I
will
keep
it
open.
So
people
don't
feel
left
out
who
couldn't
attend
today
and
if,
if
other
people
are
not
interested,
then
I
guess
it's
up
to
give
Ashton
matters
to
discuss
the
details
and
that's
what
it
is.
A
E
A
C
I
wouldn't
mind
a
deep
dive,
like
you
know,
for
example:
Mateus
knows
a
lot
about
how
it
works,
and
you
know
I'd
come
to
a
meeting
to
learn
more
about
that.
I
guess
you
know
the
suggestion
of
covering
them
in
the
the
best
practices
work
that
we're
doing
makes
sense,
but
that
separate
session
might
help.
Other
people
contribute
on
that
front.
When
we
get
to
those
sections.
A
C
C
E
F
A
C
C
E
E
E
E
C
Guess
what
you
really
lose
is
the
ability
to
like
have
any
inheritance
from
like
a
schema
could
be
changed
in
any
number
of
ways.
So
you
can't
really
say
like
if
it's
the
schema,
the
schema
or
like
with
a
number,
you
might
be
able
to
say,
like
five
and
below
I'm
gonna.
Do
all
this
kind
of
processing
right.
E
C
C
Yeah
I
mean
maybe
they're,
you
know.
Fifth,
we
can
make
it
so
schemas
have
an
easily
easily
like
you,
don't
necessarily
need
to
have
the
schema.
You
can
get
the
unique
ID
and
if
you
wanted
to
do,
parsing
yourself
based,
you
know,
do
something
with
that
number
versus
the
schema
itself.
But
the
schema
is
the
definition
of.
What's
there
I
guess,
the
only
challenge
to
is
keeping
that
schema
up-to-date
with
reality
right.
C
D
A
E
This
one
is
mostly
to
track
collaboration
between
v8
with
regards
to
missing
points
in
the
viewer
profile
roadmap,
for
example.
The
notes
birth
today
is
the
probably
most
efficient
solution
in
terms
of
not
introducing
overhead,
but
it's
only
available
on
Linux,
whereas
the
CPU
profiler
is
the
most
stable
one.
But
there
has
been
report
from
several
folks
about
performance
issues,
mod
overhead
when
starting
and
when
data.
E
E
E
Also
I
think
someone
suggested
that
equal
to
have
a
Erik's
who
captured
your
results
from
the
CPU
profiler
without
stocking
the
professor
and
thinking
back.
That's
the
same
approach
visit
by
the
heap
profiler.
So
maybe
we
can
talk
to
fear
to
add
these.
Each
result,
it's
useful
when
you
are
taking
multiple
profilers
profiles
or
the
course
of
a.
D
There
was
a
discussion
in
one
of
the
Diagnostics
issues,
suggesting
the
idea
of
like
refactoring
how
promise
of
his
work
I
basically
pointed
out
that
promises
themselves
are
not
actually
a
sink.
It's
only
micro
tasks.
Key,
that's
I,
think
so.
It's
that
they're
very
similar
to
event.
Emitters
like
the
resolve,
reject
it
effectively
emits
and
then
the
like
handler
attachments.
D
So
I
basically
had
the
idea
of
trying
to
hook
into
the
micro
test
key
directly,
and
then
we
can
re-establish
the
context
and
an
earlier
points
at
a
lower
level,
which
the
idea,
I
think
is
still
reasonable,
but
approach
I
was
looking
at
the
idea
of
possibly
trying
to
subclass
the
micro
test
queue
because
contexts
new,
except
it's
a
micro
task
queue
as
an
argument.
You
can
give
up
whatever
micro
tasks
you
want.
D
C
E
G
G
G
A
A
B
B
So
I
proposed
as
an
agenda
item
to
be
another
issue.
Basically
collapse
omit
is
approaching.
We
haven't
seen
any
items
going
into
the
ocean
list,
so
just
wanted
to
check
whether
it's
make
sense
to
submit
one
or
more
preposterous
just
for
the
context
that
in
the
last
Montreal
glove
submit
what
I
the
center,
with
the
consensus
from
this
working
group
was
the
general
status
of
the
latest
activities
in
the
working
group
plus
the
next
prioritized
items,
etc.
B
B
E
E
C
Definitely
good,
it
did
seem
like
last
time.
It
potentially
generated
some
interest
from
people,
so
the
kind
of
like
what
we're
working
on
and
where
we
need
help
might
help
like
I
guess
would
be.
The
goal
is
like
not
a
working
session
for
ourselves
because
we're
already
doing
that,
but
if
we
can
get
people
who
would
normally
attend
and
try
and
convince
them
to
get
involved.
E
A
Be
honest,
I've
seen
there
is
no
better
way
to
involve
more
people,
then,
if
they
have
interesting
educational
topics,
so
maybe,
as
we
discuss
the
EPP
f1
could
be
more
like
a
webinar
that
we
even
invite
public
folks,
if
you
like
the
idea
and
kind
of
use
it
as
like.
Hey
we
discussing
these
interesting
topics,
you
can
be
involved,
I
mean
we
don't
have
to
use
a
BPF.
Just
that's
an
example,
because
we
discussed
today
that
maybe
more
people
could
be
interests.
B
So,
for
example,
they
I
think
hopes
passing
context,
know
diagnostic
of
cool
things
like
that,
and
you
know,
provide
the
explanation
to
be
new,
so
journeys
and
the
best
practices,
and
things
like
that
that
really
you
use
user
journeys
and
best
practices
really
attracted
a
lot
of
attention
when
we
talked
about
that
in
the
last
time.
So
we
could
also
showcase
some
of
the
results
and
I
think
that
would
be
one
of
the
way
to
get
more
folks
on
board.
C
C
Give
us
your
feedback.
If
you
know
of
any
others
or
kind
of
you
know,
mix
Peters
Peters
suggestion
of
we
could
use
it
as
an
educational
to
say,
here's
what
we
here's
the
best
practices
that
we
have
so
far,
but
then
also
hopefully
cast
it
is,
and
we
you
know,
let's
have
a
discussion
to
see
if
there's
other
views
or
input
as
well.
