From YouTube: Inclusivity WG Meeting - 2016-June-7th 10:00AM PDT
Description
Agenda is at https://github.com/nodejs/inclusivity/issues/139
A
Alright
thanks
everyone
for
joining.
This
is
the
june
seventh
feeding
of
the
node.js
inclusivity
working
group.
The
agenda
is
pretty
light
or
we
don't
have
any
like
new
vendors
discuss,
but
we'll
go
around
and
kind
of
figure
out
who's
going
to
be
working
on
one,
but
first,
let's
go
ahead
and
start
with
introductions.
My
name
is
Brian
Hughes,
I'm,
Nev
rias
on
github
and
elsewhere,
and
I
work
at
Microsoft
doing
some
open
to
know.
Jsf.
A
Alright,
thanks
Evan
for
Johnny
and
a
fray,
oh
and
we'll
see
my
strings
thanks
for
listening
in.
So
in
the
last
meeting
we
set
up
with
our
medium
term
plans
worth
or
a
number
of
issues
that
we
decide
we
wanted
to
tackle.
The
next,
like
you
know,
three
to
six
months,
give
or
take
one
of
the
things
we
didn't
do,
though,
was
the
sign
action
items
to
get
people
to
kind
of
a
sign
to
sort
of
Shepherd
those
through.
That's
probably
my
fault.
A
A
So
if
we
look
at
the
agenda
under
the
activity
section,
I
listed
out
all
of
the
items
there.
So
the
first
one
is
the
132.
The
project,
blood
facilitation
framework
I've
been
doing
some
work
on
this
I
think
this
is
a
pretty
big
one,
so
I'm
up
to
other
people
working
on
this,
too,
was
everyone.
Think.
C
I'll
be
honest
and
saying:
I
haven't
looked
anything
to
do
with
inclusivity
since
our
last
meeting,
burnout,
conferences,
etc,
and
this
seems
like
a
really
big
thread,
though
that's
all
I
have
to
say
it
right
now
and
I
mean
what
you
said:
you've
been
working
on
things
a
little
bit.
What
kind
of
things
do
you
need
to
continue
working
on
it?
I
guess.
A
Yeah,
so
by
a
little
bit
I
mean
a
very
little
bit
just
maybe
an
hour.
So
what
I'm
working
right
now
is
just
trying
to
take
kind
of
the
information.
That's
in
the
issue,
I
proposal
and
just
like
flesh
that
out
a
little
more
that's
kind
of
a
bottleneck
right
now,
but
once
that
is
like
up
for
PR,
one
of
the
I
think
the
biggest
thing
the
biggest
time
consuming
I
think
this
is
going
to
be
creating
run
books.
A
A
This
is
an
idea
float
around
to
a
variety
people,
and
people
seem
to
really
like
it,
because
that
way,
it's
like
predictable,
repeatable
and
all
that
and,
of
course,
when
I
can
be
comprehensive
and
was
always
going
to
be.
You
know,
scenarios
we
didn't
think
of,
but
like
for
common
stuff,
is
what
I'm
thinking.
A
It
also
sort
of
one
kind
of
looking
for
at
least
my
idea,
Alexei.
What
you
all
think
is
coming
up
with
someone
who's
Alan.
It
uses
the
terminals
like
a
project
manager.
For
these
you
know
just
someone
to
make
sure
that
it
gets
done,
not
necessarily
that
you
need
to
do
the
work
and
especially
like
having
someone
to
you
know,
heard
cats--
helps
Oh.
What
does
everyone
think
this
sound?
Ok
to
everyone?
That's
ideas,
a.
B
A
All
right,
what
I'd
like
to
do
is
get
someone
assigned
for
each
issue
like
someone
who's
just
going
to
kind
of
own
that
issues,
and
so
we
can
oh
I
guess
we
can
also
kind
of
chat
about
them
in
general.
So
there's
also
one
of
issue
number
102.
This
is
the
continuous
translation
threads
for
important
discussions.
This
one
I
had
to
look
at
the
meeting
notes
from
awesome,
but
I
think
it
was.
A
We
were
going
to
just
reach
out
and
figure
out
if
this
is
something
we
should
do,
which
will
involve
like
some
research,
there's
number
61,
the
inclusive
checklist
guideline,
our
guide
for
conference
organizers.
I
forget
where
we
left
off
on
that
one.
We
had
some
precision
air
out
of
62,
pre-conference
education
event,
96
getting
started
a
node
work,
nine
ten.
C
C
A
F
Yeah
I
think
62,
mostly
just
becomes
a
bullet
point
of
61,
which
is
you
like
a
suggestion
for
if
you're
running
a
conference,
you
may
want
to
do
a
pre-conference
education
event,
and
then
we
might
be
able
to
link
to
resources
for
people
that
run
those
events.
But
we
wouldn't
do
much
more
than
just
recommend
this.
A
A
Ok,
so
then
there's
number
96
getting
started
in
node,
and
this
is
one
of
the
ones
where
there's
like
you
know
two
possible
meanings
to
this.
Yes,
I,
ok,
I
have
been
that
I
also
forgot
where
we
left
off
on
that
one
too
I
remember
yeah.
D
C
So
we
both
I
think
we
all
generally
agree
that
there
were
two
things:
one
you
on
the
front
and
website
making
it
more
obvious
where
you
can
go
to
the
note
and
but
two
I
know
that
I'm
sure
at
some
point,
Jonah
was
interested
in
I'm,
certainly
interesting,
creating
a
basic
tutorial
for
the
main
website
to
show
people
from
us
how
to
do
it,
but
then
going
if
you'd
like
to
learn
more
go
to
these
places.
Yeah.
D
E
Have
a
question
regarding
these
and
another
said
someone
Tracy
working
on
no
GS
education,
but
that
will
be
mostly
a
certification
like
it,
certification
from
the
node
reservation,
but
I
I,
don't
know
if
there
is
like
a
working
group
regarding
education
of
the
education
is
part
of
the
inclusivity
working
group
by
getting
people
started
to
know
by
creating
tutorials
of
this
kind
of
material.
So
this
is
something
we
are
going
to
do
or
it
is
part
of
the
inclusivity
working
group
or
there
is
someone
else,
working,
no
gears
education,
I.
D
Think
right
now
we
have
like
there's
no
like
official
team,
for
it
I
think,
but
we
have
a
few
people
from
the
tsc
from
outside,
not
collaborators
whatever
we
have
a
couple
of
people
interested
in
that
and
I
think
right
now.
The
effort
we
need
to
make
is
to
get
those
people
together
and
form
a
separate
team,
whether
it
be
working
global,
whatever
I
thought.
B
D
A
Might
be
sorry,
I
think,
there's
a
couple
of
groups
that
is
so
like
the
documentation
to
some
I.
Think
evangelism
does
some.
If
I
remember
right
that
could
be
wrong.
Wait,
definite
like
spread
around
and
knowing
like
fully
owns
it.
Yeah.
E
Because,
currently,
I'm
part
of
the
advisor
this
working
group
on
currently
like
the
main
activity,
it's
maintaining
an
odious
weekly
and
people
individually,
going
to
meet
ups
and
conferences,
doing
notice
introductions.
But
it
is
not
like
and
organize
it
for
right
now.
So
I'm
seeing
like,
maybe
we
need
to
define
who
is
going
to
take
care
of
the
education
part
or
if
there
would
be
a
working
group
of
this,
is
going
to
be
part
of
inclusivity.
All
work
together
with
evangelism
to
to
get
like
organized
support
in
this
aspect,
I.
C
G
C
Believe
that
we
said
that
at
the
end
of
that
was
the
discussion
of
my
issue,
I,
don't
have
the
notes
on
me
right
now,
but
I
think
we
have
Tracy
now.
Why
not
involve
them?
I
know
that
they
remember
of
like
seventy
thousand
different
slaps.
Now
are
a
little
bit
overwhelmed,
but
you
can
find
the
right
way
to
met
a
message.
Then
then,
why
not
just
say:
hey
Tracy?
E
A
A
Alright,
so
next
one
up
is
issue
number
91
document
program,
issue
structure.
Let's
see
for
this
one,
we
don't
really
have
any
confidence
in
our
meeting
notes
honest
so
this
one
is
where
we
have
certain
things
that
we've
done
to
help
other
groups
out
in
the
past.
Like
yeah,
you
know
we
provided
guidance
for
the
soccer
team
on
the
code
of
conduct
for
there
when
they
open
sores,
like
it's
like
things
like
that,
you
know
this.
What
we
consider
program.
A
A
So
this,
yes,
that's
a
definite
an
example
of
one
in
this
issue
is
so
we
kind
of
have
well.
This
is
part
we
have
this
very
loose
idea
of
what
a
program
is,
and
we
kinda
sorta
have
an
idea
of
how
we
go
about
doing
it,
but,
like
none
of
this
is
documented
anywhere
so
like
even
just
talking.
What
a
program
is
is
something
we
should
probably
do
come
with
a
better
definition
and
then
once
it's
there
you,
how
do
we
create
programs?
How
do
we
get
those
and
stuff
like
that?
A
D
A
F
We
do
we
need
to
keep
this
issue
open.
If
we
don't
have
I
mean
this
is
all
about.
What
does
the
template
look
like
for
filing
a
new
issue
about
program
right,
and
so,
if
we
don't
really
have
a
good
understanding
of
this
gun?
Presumably
this
is
not
currently
an
issue
until
we
don't
need
a
template.
I
finally
understand.
B
F
Is
for
issues
related
to
programs,
so
here
let
me
pull
this
up.
Oh.
H
F
Let
me
see,
there's
only
one
file
that
was
changed
and
it's
yeah.
It's
not
policy
issues,
so
so
number
91
is
about
creating
this
document.
That
describes
how
to
file
an
issue
about
programs,
and
if,
if
this
has
not
become
an
issue,
because
people
aren't
doing
this,
then
I
don't
think.
We
need
to
worry
about
keeping
issue
number
91
open
to
document
what
the
processes
it
becomes
problematic
and
we're
getting
lots
of
poorly
written
issues
about
programs
or
they're
getting
off-topic.
F
D
A
A
C
C
Yes,
so
that
would
be
contacting
other
people
like
nodejs,
International,
Working,
Group,
channelization
I
know
that
some
of
them
aren't
very
active,
but
there
are
some
people
see
seeds
in
the
original
issue.
So
if
we
can
maybe
get
someone
to
talk
to
them
and
say
you
know
how
worth
it
do
you
think
it
is.
A
C
F
C
A
F
A
F
So
maybe
the
thing
that
we
should
maybe
our
next
step
is
just
reaching
out
to
the
people
who
have
done
or
have
volunteered
to
do
translations
and
see
if
they
can
find
people
that
they
would
be
reaching.
That
say
they
would
get
value
out
of
this,
because
if
the
people
doing
the
translations
can't
even
find
people
that
would
be
benefiting,
then
why
would
we
expect
that
anyone
would
end
up
benefiting.
F
D
F
Or
we
could
I
mean
we
could
talk
to
I
assume
we
have
lots
of
contacts
at
Google,
since
they
do
translations
internally
for
their
products.
Maybe
we
can
find
out
if
they,
even
if
they
have
to
do
something
like
this
for
discussions,
because
if
they
don't
do
something
like
this
for
discussions,
then
it's
probably
not
that
valuable
right
or
we
could
reach
out
to
like
any
browser
vendor
and
any
large
company
that
does
lots
of
translations.
F
A
A
F
C
Mean
is
there
anyone
that
feels
comfortable
taking
it
on
I
know
that
I
think
these
three
of
us
has
taken
on
an
issue
already
and
I
think
there
was
enough
for
each
person
to
have
one.
So
maybe
if
we
each
take
on
one
thing,
it
spreads
the
work
crosses.
Then
poles
it
on
I,
don't
know
how
people
feel
about
that.
But
I
don't
want
three
issues.
You
know,
for
example,
I'm.
C
Much
so
yeah
I'm
not
expecting
you
want
to
take
on
an
issue
by
the
way
people
can
do
things
that
they
don't
want
to
do
it.
People
don't
have
to
do
if
they
don't
want
clean.
I
just
thought
I
put
it
out
there
just
in
case.
A
Actually,
yeah
go
ahead
and
assign
it
may
be
mentioned
me
in
that
issue
or
justice
as
an
action
item,
yeah
I,
know
actually
I
know
just
the
right
person
to
talk
to
about
that
now.
I
think
about
it.
Yeah
I
will
decide
awesome.
C
A
A
61
was
inclusivity.
G
C
A
I
can
see,
I
think,
scott,
I
think
maybe
you'd
miss
on
mission
like
going
at
combining
61
and
62,
which
I
think
makes
sense.
I
thought
I'd,
you
know,
I
said
just
kind
of
going
and
doing
yeah
just
double
check.
You
know
checking
out
that
she
really
feel
like
hey.
We
want
to
do
this.
Does
this
make
sense
area?
A1
close
this
I
thought.
A
C
F
F
C
A
All
right
so
I
think
we
have
everything
signs
at
this
point
and.
