From YouTube: HTM Hackers' Hangout (Feb 3, 2017)
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Working
really
listen,
all
right,
hello,
everybody
I
am
Matt
Taylor
fundamenta.
This
is
the
HTM
hackers
hang
out.
Februari
third
2017
currently
is
myself
and
Marcus
Lewis
in
the
new
mental
office.
Here
I've
got
a
couple
of
things
that
I
want
to
talk
about,
and
then,
if
I
see,
anybody
join
or
enter
some
questions
in
chat
of
be
happy
to
take
questions.
So
little
conference
update
we,
we
went
to
a
smart
data
conference
and
in
redwood
city
earlier
this
week.
A
So
I
was
there
and
Scott
Bertie
was
there,
and
so
it
was
Chris
team,
a
ver,
very
small
conference.
A
lot
oh
and
you
mark
with
you.
I
was
done.
We
all
said
you
a
there
too
Skyler
presentation
and
I
thought
he
did
a
good
job.
Good
presentation
great
well
suited
for
the
audience
there
and
we
got
a
lot
of
people
coming
by.
We
had
a
sponsorship
desk
there
so
sort
of
man
that
booth
and
talk
to
people
about
HTM.
A
Big
those
things
overlap
a
lot,
but
a
lot
of
people
I
talked
to
didn't
necessarily
have
a
big,
deep
learning
or
machine
learning
background,
but
they
had
a
lot
of
data
analysis
and
that
sort
of
thing,
but
so
I
explained
HTM
to
quite
a
few
people
which
is
good,
they're
interested
I.
Think
a
lot
of
people
are
starting
to
recognize
the
limitations
in
the
current
AI
landscape
and
they're.
Looking
for
for
other
solutions,
I
think
that's.
Why
we're
seeing
some
uptick
and
people
in
our
community
coming
from
the
machine
learning
community,
which
is
awesome.
A
Ups
I've
been
hoping
for
that
to
happen
for
years
years.
So
that's
a
good
thing
but
thought
it
was
a
decent
conference.
I
got.
I
think
we
started
a
quite
a
few
contacts
there
and
I
was
good
so
the
the
next
thing
I
want
to
talk
about
was
priorities
of
noventa
the
company
just
to
relieve
any
confusion.
That's
what
out
there
had
a
couple
questions.
You
know
over
the
over
the
course
of
a
lifespan
of
our
open
source
community
asking.
A
Why
isn't
this
being
done
right
now
or
why
isn't
this
has
been
broken?
Why
isn't
this
fixed?
So
just
so
you
know
the
the
priorities
of
our
company
and
remember.
Our
mission
is
to
understand
the
how
intelligence
works
in
the
neocortex
and
implement
those
principles
and
software.
So
we
really
do
have
research
at
the
front
and
center
of
our
mission
and
we
are
in
a
research
phase.
A
A
It's
going
to
happen
this
year,
I
think
it's
going
to
happen
this
year,
I'm
going
to
try
hard
to
make
it
happens
here,
and
it's
not
that
that
we've
really
just
sort
of
been
pushing
it
off
like
not
pulling
the
trigger,
because
we
don't
have
serialization,
I
think,
is
probably
the
long
pole
in
the
tent
a
serialization.
I
don't
want
to
go
one
point
0
until
we
can
have
an
API
that
I'm
confidence
not
going
to
change
much
and
without
having
that
serialization
bit
place.
It's
a
hard
hard
thing
to
do
so.
A
That's
another
high
priority
for
new
meant
to
engineering
is
getting
that
serialization
done,
I'm
already
sort
of
starting
to
use
it
a
little
bit.
So
we're
kicking
the
tires
and
we
want
to
have
a
full
solution.
So
you
can
serialize
a
whole
network
so
at
some
point
in
the
future,
but
we're
not
going
to
go.
1
point
0
until
it
happens,
and
we
all
recognize
that
I
think
that's
important,
because
we
will
be
making
breaking
changes.
I'm
almost
certain
in
that
process
stirring
that
process.
A
A
So
actually
that's
all
I
have
Marcus
anything
interesting
happening
with
you,
but
now
researching
reading
neuroscience
textbooks
that
sounds
fun
and
papers
and
such
yeah
there's
a
lot
of
research
going
on
yet
research
as
a
top
heavy
thing,
so
yeah,
that's
all
I
have
I,
don't
see
anybody
joined
or
asking
questions
o
people
o
people
are
listening,
but
not
asking
questions.
So
thanks
guys,
if
you
do
have
any
questions
about
anything
I
just
said
you
can
always
go
to
our
forum.
There's
a
link
there.
It's
discourse
noventa
Oregon,
you
can
ask
there.
