Description
NuPIC Sprint Planning - August 16, 2013
A
A
So
we've
got
a
new
guy
in
the
office
Carl,
his
high
schooler
who's
been
working
on
some
of
our
tooling,
which
has
been
really
nice,
I,
don't
know
if
he's
in
the
room
or
not,
but
thanks
Carl.
He
knocked
out
of
some
stuff
on
tooling
server.
This
is
the
this
is
a
server
that
helps
our
developer
process
that
lives
that
issues
that
invented
a
target
8081,
as
you
can
see
there,
so
we
added
some
nice
things
like
give
us
our
contributor
statistics,
as
well
as
this
nice
little
mailing
list
reporter.
A
So
he's
still
working
a
few
little
things,
but
there
are
their
minor
head
of
tooling
issues.
Gil,
I
think,
is
off
today,
but
he's
still
been
working
on
the
new
spatial
or
exploitation.
Oh
I'm,.
B
Here
that
I.
A
A
Okay,
that's
great
I,
don't
see
mark
online,
but
he's
been
really
helpful,
but
something
notable
we
have
just
today.
A
travesty
I
know
that
merges
get
us
running
on
Python,
27,
so
big,
who
knows
to
everyone
involved.
A
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
This
is
I've
been
preaching
that
this
I
think
is
the
biggest
bottleneck
for
people
becoming
productive
with
our
our
platform
and
we've
just
destroyed
that
bottleneck,
so
excellent,
excellent
work
so
I
closed,
all
the
tickets
associated
with
that
porting
to
27
the
ones
that
were
the
errors
caused
by
by
those
issues
mark
and
a
lot
to
do
with
that,
as
well.
So
big
kudos
to
him.
A
So
my
stuff,
which
is
not
nearly
as
important,
is
mostly
a
peripheral
type
things
like
fixing
up
some
somebody
is
making
sure
that
your
is
operating
the
way
we
want
I'm.
Still,
it's
still
very
important
to
me
that
we
can
get
build
artifacts
out
of
Travis
and
that
I'm
currently
blocked
on
that,
because
I
need
to
finish
this
task
and
I
just
haven't
had
time.
So
that's
going
to
be
a
very
high
priority
for
me.
A
This
next
sprint,
once
we
can
get
Travis
to
post
build
artifacts,
then
we
can
publish
all
of
the
all
of
the
compiled
code
from
the
new
pic
builds
up
on
s3
make
them
publicly
available
and
we
can
also
get
our
ceiling.
White
paper
builds
publicly
available
incorporated
into,
hopefully
the
demented
org
website.
A
A
A
The
different
model
parameters
I've
talked
to
Ron
about
creating
a
video
tutorial
on
how
to
use
this
product
when
it
gets
it
this
project
when
he
gets
it
working
and
he's
agreed
to
do
that
so
I'm
going
to
take
the
tutorial
for
the
public
and
get
that
out
onto
new
mentor.
So
everybody
can
take
advantage
of
that
as
soon
as
it's
available,
so
I
think
that's.
One
of
this
is
one
of
his
top
priorities.
Right
now
and
that's
going
to
be
great
I.
A
Don't
know
the
status
of
Scott,
this
is
to
sprint
planning
meetings
of
Scott
Smith,
so
he's
totally
in
my
doghouse
deal.
Do
you
know
what's
up
what's
up
with
Scott?
No,
not
okay,
I'll,
ask
him
later
and
I.
Don't
think
supe
ties
there,
but
the
problem
is
you're
here.
Okay,
so
what's
the
status
on
this,
if
you
have
time
any
time
to
work
on
it,
I
heaven
but
I
didn't
see
some
comments.
D
A
E
A
A
It's
processing,
ok,
so
our
burn
down
is
not
great,
but
we're
still
kind
of
establishing
a
process
here.
So
I
don't
expect
it
to
be
that
great
I've
added
a
lot
of
tasks
because
we
had
a
new
resource,
the
sprint
Karl,
the
the
high
school
kid
and
he
knocked
out.
All
of
his
tasks
are
almost
all
of
them,
but
more
than
I
thought
he
was
going
to
get
done
so
great
job
there.
So
it's
a
little
bit
bumpy.
Don't
work
yeah!
A
A
Need
to
get
more,
ok,
so
back
to
your
plan.
Ok,
so
this
is
going
to
be
our
third
sprint,
and
these
are
just
the
ones
that
fell
from
the
existing
sprint.
I
think
all
the
ones
that
enter
exit.
Oh.
A
What
well?
Okay!
Here
we.
So
this
was
Ron's
task,
so
I'm
going
to
go
through
and
make
sure
that
these
are
assigned
made.
So
I
need
Ron
to
estimate
this
integrates
warming.
I
have
a
feeling,
it's
a
it's
a
large
number
and
so
I'm
going
to
put
a
large
number
here
and
see
if
he
would
be
willing
to
break
this
up
into
maybe
a
few
smaller
tasks.
Let's
see
what
his
status
is
on
that
okay
on
this
is
just
hackathon
stuff
I
need
to
do.
A
D
A
Yo
right
on
cool
the
fact
so
as
a
party,
so
I
kind
of
did
some
brainstorming
about
new
documentation
for
new
mentor
kind
of
a
new
structure
to
focus
on
new
users
or
new
content,
consumers
and
I've
and
I've
come
up
with
this
consumer
engagement
strategy.
I'm
not
going
to
go
over
it
right
now,
but
at
the
bottom
of
it
identified
obstacles
from
that
keep
people
from
becoming
basically
productive
developers
with
new
pic
and
I'm,
addressing
them
with
certain
different
structure
for
documentation
and
then
Python
27,
which
is
done
so
that's
great.
A
So
it
was
a
part
of
that
I've
got
some
restructuring
of
the
website
that
I
want
to
do
so.
These
tasks
here
that
are
assigned
to
me
are
all
about
those
different
website,
I'm
going
to
start
creating
those
kind
of
augmented
org,
but
not
on
the
main
site
and
of
often
a
subdirectory,
so
that
I
can
get
review
from
people
before
I
make
them
wife.
A
Alright,
we've
also
talked
about
this
idea
of
creating
domains,
but
for
the
next
hackathon
it
would
be
nice
if
we
had
sort
of
a
direction
to
push
people
to
say
you
don't
know
what
to
do.
Here's
an
interesting
domain
to
attempt
to
apply
new
pic
towards
in
order
to
do
that,
I
think
we
need
to
try
and
establish
a
bit
of
groundwork
and
and
pave
the
way
for
them.
A
So
this
is
just
a
skeleton
for
this
and
we're
going
to
use
this
as
a
potential
kickoff
for
the
next
hackathon
and
say:
here's
if
you
want
a
topic,
look
into
NLP
and
here's
some
tasks.
You
might
want
to
do
to
kind
of
prep
for
that
and
like
creating
encoders
for
a
different
encoding
strategies
for
language.
A
This
is
a
kind
of
a
once.
We
have
those
things
established
on
our
wiki
to
emphasize
that
within
our
hackathon
message.
Another
thing
with
the
kind
of
consistent
documentation
I
was
talking
about
is
a
roadmap.
That's
always
up
to
date,
so
this
ticket
is
for
me
to
establish
a
basically
it's
a
review
process
for
myself
to
make
sure
that
I'm
stand
consistently
reviewing
this
roadmap,
making
sure
that
it
is
up
to
date
and
the
road
map
right
now
is
not
up
to
date.
A
That's
another
task,
get
the
roadmap
up
to
date
and
the
similar
thing
for
the
wiki.
As
you
kind
of
conceived
from
this
mess,
our
wiki
square
e
flat,
we
do
have
a
sort
of
table
of
contents
page,
but
there's
not
much
of
a
rhyme
or
reason
for
it.
I'd
like
to
make
this
a
bit
more
user
friendly.
So
that's
that
ticket
is
to
address
that
may
be
a
kind
of
a
in
parallel
with
the
other
documentation
tasks
on
taking
on
the
sprint.
Okay,
okay.
So
this
is
interesting.
A
D
Looking
into
that,
hey
man-
yes
I,
don't
know
if
Doug
king
is
online
but
I
know
at
the
ball.
He
was.
This
was
really
important
to
him
as
well
and
I.
Think
in
general,
the
whole
idea
of
making
CLA
putting
it
into
c,
plus
plus
its
accessible
by
many
languages,
really
hinges
on.
This
is
an
important
piece
of
that.
Yes,.
A
Great
okay,
Scott's
not
here
to
explain
this
may
be
Austin.
You
can
explain
this.
The
the
two
tickets
for
running
Linux,
64,
brighter.
C
And
and
those
should
actually
be
assigned
to
me-
there's
haven't
had
a
chance
to
do
that.
I've
already
got
the
initial
Darwin
64
version
up.
I
need
to
send
an
email
out
to
the
new
pic
man
list
to
get
a
broader
feedback
on
it,
but
at
this
point
I
have
a
effectively
a
virtual
and
that
you
can
clone
directly
from
github.
It
has
Python
26
for
OSX,
all
the
Python
headers,
all
the
Python
packages
and
all
of
the
new
pic
dependencies
already
installed.
A
C
A
A
B
A
A
C
Of
note,
all
the
problems
that
I'm
facing
with
that
on
the
Darwin
side
is
I,
can't
actually
test
it
with
Travis,
just
because
it's
linux
only
so
we'll
only
be
able
to
do
the
Linux
version.
A
C
C
A
logical
conclusion
so
once
we
finish
the
virtual
ends
and
get
those
integrated
into
the
continuous
integration
process,
there's
no
need
for
the
pit
cash
and
no
need
to
bundle
those
external
libraries
with
the
new
pic
depository.
Okay.
That
little
thing
is
good,
easy
pick,
it's
blocking
those
other
tasks,
but
that
specific
one
is
pretty
quick.
Ok,.
A
Let's
see
if
there's
anything
on
assigned
in
here,
no
and
one
other
thing
in
our
last
spread,
we
finished
how
many
story
points.
A
There's
not
like
a
summer
there's.
A
Yeah
there
we
go
so
Wow
we
yeah,
we
completed
10
story
points
which
is
odd,
so
we
we
obviously
signed
up
for
way
more
than
we
got
done
and
right
now
we
are.
We
have
45
story
points
in
here,
so
we
need
to
dial
this
back
by
prioritizing.
Okay,
so
I
don't
want
to
leave
this
in
unless
we
really
think
we
can
do
it
tsumetai.
If
you
don't
really
think
you
could
do
it,
is
it
important
enough
to
assign
somebody
else
and
make
sure
they
do
it?
You.
D
Know
it's
only
really
important
to
me.
You
know
this
affects
the
product
more
than
anything
else,
but
it's
really
only
important
to
me
once
you
are
actually
getting
the
artifacts
from
Travis
and
including
the
mid
Gras.
That's
the
point
where
I
right
until
that
point
I'm
less
concerned
about
that,
so
we
can
move
it
out
of
this
print.
One
okay,.
A
Make
configuration
module
more
general
and
simple
I
thought
he
was
actually
in
progress.
No,
this
is
obey
Scott
SAT
here
so
I.
He
doesn't
have
many
tasks,
I,
don't
think
so.
I'm,
probably
just
going
to
leave
this
for
him.
It's
got
ten
and
a
half
point.
So
let's
leave
that
for
him
a
build
artifex,
I
think,
is
important.
I
really
want
to
get
that
done.
Project
roadmap.
Sorry.
A
A
A
A
Okay,
that's
one
of
two
tasks:
cotner
spread
so
I'll
leave
that
for
him
this
this
is
just
kind
of
bounced
from
sprint
to
spray,
removing
static
libraries,
and
it
seems
like
it's
I,
don't
know,
I
think
there
is
a
sitting
cool
request
waiting
for
this
that
we're
not
ready
to
to
load
the
OS.
There
are.
A
Okay,
well,
I
can't
speak
for
more,
so
I'm
going
to
just
move
it,
okay
and
if
he
does
happen
to
get
it
done.
Wonderful,
this
Oh
Oscar
on
recap:
news-post
I,
have
no
idea.
When
they're
going
to
get
this
tech
talk
published
so
I'm
not
going
to
make
it
a
priority
for
me,
because
I
can't
do
anything
on
it,
then
until
then,
so
I
feel
I
assume
your
work
that
you're
still
working
on
this
or
you
will
be
working
on
as
soon
yeah.
B
A
D
A
C
A
D
F
F
Don't
forget
the
notes
that
we
made
it
spawn
at
that
dinner
or
something
around
yes,.
D
D
A
E
D
A
So
for
you
guys
who
are
watching,
let
me
show
you
something
if
you're
looking
at
a
ticket
and
you
want
to
assign
it
to
your
stuff
once
you're
logged
in
you
can
put
this
assigned
to
me,
which
is
right
here
and
you
can
to
put
it
into
the
current
sprint.
A
You
have
to
go
down
here
under
agile
and
click
view
on
board,
and
it
will
take
you
to
the
Planning
Board,
where
it
exists
and
from
there
you
can
just
drag
it
all
the
way
up
into
the
current
sprint,
and
it
will
probably
ask
you:
are
you
sure,
or
something
like
that?
So
that's
how
you'll
actually
get
into
our
are
spread.
So
I'm
going
to
I'm
going
to
start
this
sprint
now,
which
will
firm
these
features
up
and.
A
A
Ok,
I've
got
pasta
and
Carl
Gill
mark
me
ron,
scott
to
the
tie
and
so
I'm
totally
open
to
it.
If
anybody
wants
to
tackle
the
task
or
thinks
of
the
task
and
wants
to
work
on
it,
I'd
love
it.
If
you
created
a
jira
for
it
and
assigned
it
to
yourself
and
added
it
to
the
current
sprint,
that's
the
way
we
can
at
least
kind
of
have
an
idea
of
who's.
Doing
what
hey.
A
B
A
A
So
we're
already
seven
days
behind
okay.
Is
there
anything
else
that
we
should
talk
about
while
we're
here
we're
right
on
time,
we're
done
and
it's
been
30
minutes.
So
does
anyone
have
any
topics
that
they
think
are
important.
