Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
I
know
there's
some
amendments
and
some
other
things
that
are
brought
forward
you'll.
This
will
bring
us
to
the
invocation.
A
In
today's
meeting,
the
honorable
tom
middleton
will.
E
Will
encounter
afterwards
ready
us
to
make
every
moment
come.
E
Keep
everyone
safe,
amen,
amen,
our
pledge
allegiance.
A
Thank
you,
commissioner.
Middleton.
A
Unanimously
that
will
bring
us
to
approval
of
the
agenda.
Is
there
a
motion
to
approve
the
agenda.
F
I
got
it
at
455
or
445,
something
like
that.
A
And
per
board
rules
and
robert's
rules
that
move
in
any.
A
Regular
agenda
so
we'll
do
that
so
without
any
further
discussion.
All
in.
A
Favor
of
approving
the
agenda
as
requested,
and
that
includes
item
b.
A
A
A
A
Communications,
the
board's
received
we'll
read
those
first
and
then
we'll.
B
B
The
first
one
made
me
a
little
sad:
it's
from
clara
bohr
greetings.
B
B
Granted
under
the
board
rules
allowing
the
chairperson.
B
B
B
Chairman
24
commissioners
and
the
final
one
to
the
oakland
county
board
of
commissioners.
Ladies
and
gentlemen,
please
accept
this
letter's
notification
that
I've
exercised.
B
A
And
that
will
be
it
okay.
Can
we
get
a
motion
to
receive
those.
A
Commissioner,
long
all
in
favor
receiving
those
communications
read
by
the
clerk
say:
hi
hi,
hi,
hi
opposed,
say,
nay,.
A
The
two
presentations
tonight
and
I
will.
A
Start
off
with
the
oakland
county,
public
transit
authority.
A
A
Floor
over
to
you,
madam
chair
of
the
oakland
county
public.
G
Thank
you
very
much
good
evening
board
of
commissioners.
G
And
the
deputy
director
of
smart
tonight,
robert
kramer,
is
going
to
be.
G
Say
I'm
just
very
honored
that
you've
welcomed
us
to
present
to.
G
You
tonight
from
the
ocpta,
it's
my
understanding.
It's
been
a
while.
G
Since
the
ocpta
has
been
in
front
of
the
board
of
commissioners,.
G
And
so,
on
behalf
of
our
authority,
we're
happy
to
be
here.
G
Authority
for
which
the
authority
can
exercise
for.
G
The
last
30
years
since
1996,
when
the
authority
was
created.
G
Services
through
smart
across
the
u.s,
and
so
that
is
what
we're
taking
a.
G
Look
at
taking
is
exploring
how
to.
G
Exercise
more
of
its
powers
to
become
that.
G
Stronger
partner
and
I'm
going
into
that
a
little
bit
later
in
the
presentation,
so
here
are
your
authority
members.
We.
C
We're
losing
here
on
the
so
I'm
melanie,
I
I
think
you're.
G
Members
and
the
oakland
county
treasurer
is
a
non-voting
member
january
9
2000.
It
says
I'm
having
a
slow
network.
A
You,
but
I
see
that
I
see
the
presentation.
Okay,
thank
you.
G
For
those
suggested
yes
so
so
I
just
noticed
a
slight.
G
And
we
are
all
dedicated
to
public
transportation
for
oakland
county.
G
Are
ocpta
opt-in,
communities
where
23
or
39
of
the
county,
who
are
here,
opt.
G
One
mill
and
a
one
mill
equals
33
million.
G
Rollback
when
the
authority
was
created
from
the
millage.
G
And
that's
been
the
same
price
for
since
then.
G
So
when
I
took
my
seat
in
2019
january,
along
with
marie,
we
really.
G
G
Was
following:
in
addition,
we
also
discovered.
G
That
as
part
of
the
ocpta
and
smart
annual
contracts
that
there
was
an.
G
G
More
time
from
the
pandemic
to
negotiate
with.
G
This
pass-through
rubber
stamp.
G
G
Okay,
so
there
are
then
the
23
amendments
to
the
original.
G
1996
smart
contract
and
one.
G
Was
creating
a
mission
statement
and
we.
G
In
michigan,
but
also
throughout
the
united
states,.
G
And
there's
more
to
do,
we
are
moving
forward
with
negotiations
with.
G
G
G
And
I
think
with
that
I
just
wanted
to
say
thank
you
for.
G
On
another
day,
I'm
more
than
happy
to
make
space
for
that
as
well.
A
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
chair
piana
and.
A
A
Bored
to
have
you
present
here
and
mr
kramer
always
great
glad
to
have.
I
The
smart
team
we've
remained
open
to
serve
those.
I
I
Well,
the
first
peak
of
the
crisis,
our
drivers,
our
maintenance
staff,
all
of
our.
I
Learn
how
to
function
in
kind
of
our
certainly
changed.
I
Region
and
world
here
so
I'm
very
proud
to
be.
I
Be
part
of
that
just
you
know
melanie
touched
on
this.
I
Ocpta
that
are
then
provided
to
smart
to.
I
Support
all
of
our
operations
in
the
county
really
are
critical
without
the
local
support
of
ocpta.
I
That
includes
our
ada
required
paratransit
service.
Then
we
also
have.
I
I
I
Transportation
for
the
whole
county-
and
it's
very.
I
Important
to
to
remember
that,
it's
something
that
we
take
very
seriously
as
our
our
role
in
in
the
region
here.
I
And
really,
you
know
our
goal.
Our
charge
always
has
been.
I
Medical
appointments
and
that
is
kind
of
what's
keeping
us
going.
We
want.
I
Our
fast
service,
we
added
it
to
the
woodward.
I
Start
this
year
with
the
blue
category
here.
I
And
then
quickly
in
march,
obviously
with
covid.
I
It
took
a
dive,
but
up
until
that
point
we
were
we
were
up
basically
a.
I
The
woodward
corridor,
it
was
really
a
great
thing
and
we're
looking
at
the.
I
I
Drivers
on
the
road,
if
they
don't
need
to
be,
but
there
still
have
been
people
who
need
to
get
to
these
essential
trips.
I
I
Obviously,
our
commuter
routes
have
all
been
shut
down
since
march,
so
this
is
really
kind
of
the
main
arterial
route
store.
Most
this
ridership's
taking
place.
I
With
us
returning
some
of
our
service,
the
commuter
routes
are
still
shut
off,
and
so
our
ridership
has
gone
up.
I
In
in
order
to
accommodate
that,
and
so
right
now
we're
at
about
60.
I
That's
average
over
the
whole
system,
we've
been
doing
a
maximum
remote.
I
Work
since
basically
march
16th,
anyone
who
can
do
any
or.
I
Support
staff
has
been
done
carefully
to
make
sure.
I
So
this
is
by
terminal
here.
Oakland
is
the
the
orange
line
in
this
case.
I
So
we
had
a
big,
a
big
drop
again.
This
is
kind
of
the.
I
Returning
that
service,
so
our
response
to
the
crisis.
I
And
also
have
added
on-road
cleanings
for
a
maintenance
crew
to
get.
I
About
how
we're
investing
our
share
of
the
cares
act,
funding.
I
Health
screenings-
and
this
is
actually
consistent
with
the
oakland
county
executive
order,
but
we've
been
doing
it
at
all
of
our
locations
and
basically
that's
a
questionnaire
for
any
staff.
That's
reporting
into
the
terminal
we've
also
been
doing
that
screening
questionnaire
for
riders
of
connector.
I
I
All
work
through
kind
of
what
our
needs
were
smart
ended
up
securing
just
under
59
million
dollars
of
cares,
act,
funding.
I
Deadline
for
it
has
to
be
spent.
I
think
a
lot
of
those
are
by
the
end
of
this
calendar
year,
because
of
the
way
that
fta
funding
works,
we're
able
to
to
be
a
little
bit
more
deliberate
as.
I
Far
as
making
sure
that
this
funding
can
help
us
sustain
our
our
services
and
our
staff
through
the
crisis
for.
I
Capital
projects
I'm
going
to
talk
about
here
in
a
second,
so
our
board
approved
this
in
june.
We're
in
the
process
of
procuring.
I
I
Provide
us
more
opportunities
for
distancing
when
we're
on
the
routes.
I
That
we're
making
available
to
every
community
in
the
three-county
region.
I
I
Warrant
returning
those
routes
to
to
into.
I
Service
we're
watching
it
very
closely.
We
know
they're
important,
as
people
will
start
coming
back
to
work
and
really
we're
working
with.
I
I
Space
for
everything
from
electric
vehicle
testing
charging
autonomous
vehicle
stuff
bike,
lockers
everything
we
can
get
there.
I
I
Region
recovers,
so
with
that
I'll
I'll
leave
it
there.
I
A
And
and
we
greatly
appreciate
the
information,
the
work
that
you've
dug
in.
A
Weipert,
commissioner
taub,
thank
you.
I
have
one
question.
F
For
our
gentleman
from
smart,
what
have
you
been
doing
about
the
buses.
F
Out
great
question
so
smarts.
I
Available
throughout
the
crisis,
and
in
some
cases
you
know,
I
mentioned
all
those
other
community
partners
or
sometimes.
I
We've
stepped
in
to
help
make
sure
that
we
can
help
get
those
people
to
the.
A
G
Absolutely
they
aren't
voting
members,
but
they
have
been
stepping
in.
F
G
Able
to
ask
questions
and
during
the
meetings,
but
if
they.
If
the.
G
Full
authority
members
are
there,
they
are
not
allowed
to
vote
so.
F
In
for
marie
donigan
or
dave
dillingham.
F
Is
that
correct?
They
don't
have
assigned
people.
A
No,
I
mean
like
that
there
there
are
people
that
there
is
a.
A
Guaranteed
minority
member,
a
minority
caucus
member.
A
Fill
in
for
that
person
and
mr
douglas
represents
the.
G
Perspectives
during
the
meeting,
so
that
has
been
a.
G
Welcome
voice
to
the
the
conversation.
F
I
have
another
yeah,
they
experience
and
they're
on
public
transit.
The
people.
G
Where
the
operational
enhancements,
the
up,
the
ocpca,
is
looking
at,
there's
been
significant
advancements
in.
F
And
so
on
and
so
forth,
we
just
can't
write
checks
so.
F
A
For
it
talking
about
the
relationship.
A
Everybody,
okay,
thank
you.
So
the
board
of
commissioners.
A
Appoints
the
members
to
the
authority
it
that
authority.
A
Has
the
task
of
appropriately,
as
the
chairwoman
piana.
A
A
Update
bylaws
to
update
to
get
councils
and
make
sure
that.
A
Government
and
it's
in
a
perfectly
inappropriate.
A
Counties
that
it's
appropriate,
that
we
continue
to
support
that.
A
Advancement,
commissioner
weipert
had
a
question.
D
Thank
you.
A
couple
questions
for
robert
kramer
good
to
see
you.
D
D
I
Most
important
thing
that
we
have
found
is
certainly.
I
Was
easy
to
make
either
when
the
when
our
fleet
was
replaced.
I
Top
it's
not
a
sliding
window
like
the
older
buses
had,
but
we've
been
really
trying
to
to.
I
Windows
open
so
the
the
the
windows
opening
would.
I
Help
with
kind
of
that
fresh
air,
but
really
what
we're
hearing
is
that
having
everybody
wear
masks.
I
Part
in
addition
to
spacing
out-
and
so
that's
been
our
approach
so.
I
D
Three
million
dollars
for
that's
available.
D
Handling
and
mask-
and
things
like
that,
is
that
that
what's
coming
or
available
yeah,
so
yes,
it
is
something
that
is.
I
I
It's
available
to
all
communities.
What
we've
been
doing
is
either
giving
it
to
the
community
or
if
they
have
a
transportation
partner,
we're
giving
it.
I
To
them
so
like
north
oakland,
they
have
noda
they're
the
ones
that
will
have
this
made
available
to
them.
It's
all
a.
I
Figure
out
how
they
want
to
do
that,
or
even
just
making
up
for
lost
revenues
on
a
local
basis
to
pay
for,
for
some
of
their
regular
operating.
I
Community
has
control
as
far
as
how
they
want
to
spend
the.
I
Next
september,
to
spend
it
so
they
have
a
little
bit
over
a
year
from
now,
either
for
short-term
costs
or
things
that
may
be.
I
More
a
longer
term
to
assist.
A
A
A
Are
you
asking
when
the
smart
millage
is
up
for
renewal?
No,
I'm
asking
when.
A
A
Okay,
you
thank
you
all
right,
commissioner.
Come
over
that,
are
you.
A
Oakland,
county
public
transit
authority,
piana
and
secretary
donigan
and
all
the.
A
A
Committee
to
introduce
our
special
guest
and
take
it
from
there.
Thank
you.
C
Chair
I'm
very
pleased
tonight
that
we
have.
C
Going
to
also
just
give
us
some
brief
comments
as.
C
C
Thank
you
I'm
doing
very
well
and
I'm
staying.
K
Safe
also,
so
I
appreciate
the
opportunity
to
speak
with
everyone.
K
This
evening,
this
is
probably
one
of
the
last
opportunities
that
we.
K
Time-
and
I
think
that
might
be
the
news.
K
That
question,
but
oakland
county
is
ahead
of
the.
K
Door
in
oakland
county
again
to
those
households
where
we
have
identified
a
response.
K
That
they
carry,
but
certainly
the
identification
that.
K
So
again
that
starts
today
and
will
end
through
the
end
of
the
enumeration.
K
And
you
were
always
very
supportive
of
the
efforts.
K
We
spoke
very
early
in
2018,
I
believe,
and
of
course,
commissioner
jackson.
K
Did
not
discount
the
effort,
you
guys
have
been
wonderful
and
you
still.
K
Are
fantastic
in
trying
to
ensure
that
oakland
county
is.
K
Thank
you
for
all
of
your
support
during
this
process.
K
So
the
two
areas-
and
I
know
amanda,
probably
is
going
to
talk
a
little
bit.
K
That
there
are
no
communities
that
are
under
50,
we
have
a
few
tracks
and.
K
K
The
non-response
follow-up
is
completed
september
30th,
but
we
are.
K
K
Traditionally,
without
a
a
steady
home.
K
That
time
period
as
well,
it
will
end
in
september
on
the
28th.
K
So
that's
a
general,
a
general
idea
of
where
we
are
with.
K
Our
operational
adjustments,
which
have
been
made
as
a
result
of
the.
K
Pandemic
but
we
are
again.
C
Helping
us
march
through
the
territory
and.
C
For
us
and
so
linda,
thank
you
for
sharing.
L
At
the
village,
the
county
will
be
providing.
L
L
That
for
us,
I've
got
a
flyer
that
I'll
send
out
to
megan.
C
Okay,
so
well,
thank
you
and
thank
you
all
for
listening
tonight
and
linda
thank.
A
For
making
sure
this
information
is
available,
our
staff
circulates
to
all
of
us
the
performance,
the
performance
of
all
of.
A
We
all
know
what's
at
stake,
so
I
want
to
thank
you
and.
A
Continue
leadership
and
the
next
couple
months
we'll
be,
I
mean
in
the.
A
A
C
Public
comments
today,
the
first
is
an
online
submission.
B
B
16
contracts
with
different
cities
and
townships,
if
I
can
say
I'm.
B
Incredible
the
people
that
were
workers
for
the.
B
Day
were
incredible
and
it
was
just
very
successful
so.
B
Thank
you
for
that
for
your
support.
I
call
them
the.
B
Sweet
16,
the
16
communities
that
we
with
that.
B
We
process
for
so
second,
as
I
always
do,
I
want
to.
B
B
In
order
to
certify
any
races
so
come
on
by
you,.
B
B
Time,
thirdly,
I
wanted
to
make
sure
you
all
knew
we
finally
finally
finally
got
our
directories.
I'm
trying
to.
B
The
the
subject
that
they
had
to
make
art.
B
But
I
this
got
to
still
happen.
So
it's
a
wonderful
art
piece
by
a
young.
A
D
One
is
item
e
on
the
regular
that
will
be
on
the
regular.
D
Agenda
that
was
a
resolution
regarding
the.
A
Okay,
so
commissioner
mcgilvary
moved
suspension.
A
Of
rule,
it's
rule
three
right:
yes,
yeah,
the
appropriate
rule
on.
A
Those
two
items
seconded
by.
A
Commissioner
zack
any
discussion,
I
need
some
more.
A
And
let
the
record
reflect
that
it.
The
substantial.
A
Infrastructure
committee
is
there
a
motion
to
move
the
consent.
L
Yes,
okay,
if,
if
everyone
else
could
please
mute
and.
A
Number
vote
in
the
affirmative.
The
consent
agenda
is
adopted
that
will
move.
A
Us
to
the
regular
agenda:
first
up
we
have
finance
and.
A
Infrastructure
committee
I'll
call
in
commissioner
zack.
A
Commissioner
zack
okay:
this
is
facilities
planning
and.
A
Moves
the
resolution
seconded
by
commissioner
gershenson.
A
A
We
hear
you
we
hear
you,
okay,
oh,
and
that
there
goes.
A
A
Primary
care,
services
and
other
services
wrap.
B
Okay,
thank
you,
commissioner.
Middleton
gave
me
a
thumbs
up
for
a
yes.
B
Mr
chair,
you
have
21
yay
zero
nays,
sufficient
number
voting.
The.
A
Commissioner
luebs
seconded
by
commissioner
mcgillivray
to
bring
the
question
forward
all
right,
commissioner
loops.
C
Thank
you,
we're
looking
at
the
millage
for
2021.
A
Rec,
commission,
commissioner
mcgillivray,
if
there's
anything,
you
would
like
to
add
to
this
and
I'll
open
up
to
further
questions.
Commissioner
mcgillivray,
thank
you,
mr.
D
With
a
millage
of
0.25,
we're
now
down
to
0.2312.
A
A
Commissioner,
for
that
clarification,
commissioner,
spisz
raised
this
hand.
H
H
There
that
we're
going
to
help
them
with
their
past
is
that
true
I'll
respond
to
that,
and
then
I
guess.
A
Anyone
else
wants
to
jump
in.
I
first
want
to
applaud.
A
With
the
public
support
and
in
order
to
maintain
that.
A
The
plan
includes
the
things
that
commissioner
lubes
and
commissioner.
A
Mcgillivray
talked
about,
and
parks
has
sent
that
I
mean.
A
Parks
and
rec
commission
be
able
to
make
certain
that
that
happens
in
addition
to
like
in
totality-
and
I
just
just
recap
of.
A
What
it
would
be
ensures
support
for
parks,
operations.
A
People
with
disabilities,
environmental
sustainability
to.
A
Commissioners,
business
exact
point:
we
already
have
a
partnership
with.
A
Parks
and
with
sisma
and
combating
invasive.
A
A
Is
something
that
I
think
is
the
public
overwhelmingly
asks
of
us.
H
D
We
now
do
of
that.
Already
I
mean
we
we've
built
trails
throughout.
E
Mr
chairman,
it
appears
that
the
in
the
transferring
of
the
committee.
E
Record
the
roll
call
was
placed
right
in
the.
E
Middle
of
the
ballot
language,
if
you
wouldn't
mind,
if
we
could
have.
A
Sir,
certainly
so
you
mean
from
committee,
yes,
when
the.
E
Committee
record
was
taken
the
the
roll
call.
E
Clerk
to
place
on
the
ballot,
if
yeah,
we
wouldn't.
E
Think
just
an
amendment
within
your
you
already
have
a
motion.
A
A
Commissioner,
I
got
commissioner
hoffman
followed
by
commissioner
gingell.
Thank
you,
chairman
woodward,
and
I.
E
Operate
remotely
for
quite
a
long
time
and
that's.
H
Okay,
the
other
thing
I
would
like
to
say
is
that.
H
And,
in
my
opinion,
we
haven't
done
any
of
that.
What
we're
saying
is:
let's
throw.
H
And
keep
on
keeping
on
that's
that's
one.
H
Under
performed
maintenance,
I
think
that
should
be
a
millage,
but
I.
H
H
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
commissioner
yeah
commissioner
taub,
followed
by.
F
Thing
for
you,
we
love
your
voice
for
years
and.
F
F
So
I
have
an
amendment
here,
mr
chair.
I
think
if
I.
F
I
don't
know
who
has
it
connie
may
have
it.
F
To
0.35,
that's
a
lot
of
money,
okay,
and
especially
in
this
time,.
A
Is
your
amendment
written
in
the
packet.
A
A
By
commissioner
kowall
any
further
discussion
on
the.
A
C
Thank
you,
mr
chair,
just
the
clarity.
What
are
we
voting
on.
C
The
the
commission
good
question
it
may
be
helpful
for.
A
Think
it's
a
pretty
straightforward,
commissioner.
F
Current
village
right
yeah,
and
so
I
I
I
if
I.
A
I
believe
is
irresponsible.
The
park
system
has
been
operating
basically.
A
So
if
you
can
mute
yourself,
the
I
I,
the
original
proposal
is
a
a.
A
Proposal
that
staff
has
spent
a
tremendous
amount
of
time.
A
Down,
mr
ward,
that's
the
memo
parks
have
put
a.
A
Over
the
next
decade-
and
I
mean
a
host
of
other
people-.
A
Put
our
parks
in
jeopardy
so
I'll
be
voting
now
seeing
no
further
discussion
on
it.
Mr
commissioner
todd
you
said
you
didn't.
A
I
think
thank
you,
so,
madam
clerk
on
the
on
the
12th.
A
A
L
Agreement
with
the
commissioners,
hoffman
and
gingell
and
taub.
L
And
on
their
main
points
about,
you
know
we're.
L
In
the
middle
of
a
pandemic-
and
I
don't
think
it's
the
right
time
to
raise.
L
Everything
and
there's
going
to
be
a
lot.
L
So
I
just
feel
like
we're
all
gonna
have
to
try
to
make
do.
L
With
what
we
have
and
just
another
aside,
I
don't
know.
L
Was
in
the
house
to,
I
did
manage
to
get
the
dia
and
the
zoo.
L
So
just
for
those
points
at
this
point
I
cannot
support.
L
J
Commissioners,
we've
just
heard
from
you
know:
we've
had
these
parks
as.
J
Commission
came
up
with
this
.35
and
they
have
a
lot
of
good
logic.
J
As
to
why
that
number
makes
sense,
as
far
as
being
in
the
middle
of
the.
J
House
or
you
don't
pay
property
taxes
at.
J
All
I
believe
it
is
part
of
the
responsibility
of
a
government
to
provide
a
commons
and.
J
J
Good
help
and
improving
ecosystem
in
our
community
in
the
area.
J
Of
invasive
species,
treating
of
the
phragmites
and
so
on,
the
county
park
system
has
just
been.
J
Like
mine,
where
I'm
in
a
part
of
the
county,
where
there
really
is
not
a
lot
of
county
facilities
available
to
us,
we've
been
paying
county.
J
J
J
J
A
Thank
you
chairman,
just
to
echo
what
commissioner
markham
said
is.
H
People
wouldn't
have
anywhere
to
go.
We
were
blessed
to
have
the
opportunity.
C
To
give
free
admission,
I
can't
imagine.
C
This
and
it
seems
like
trying
to
talk.
H
About
raising
taxes,
and
all
that
where
we
are
blessed
with
you
know
like.
C
C
H
That's
not
in
writing
and
mr
chair.
If
you
need
to
get
it
ready,
we
can
do
that
to
change
the
0.35
to
0.25.
I
I
I
don't
just
for
a
point
of.
A
Previously
glory
down
to
0.25
is
a
motion
by.
A
H
H
A
Excuse
me
the
difference
of
ten
dollars.
A
B
All
right,
commissioner,
spisz
on
your
amendment.
A
C
A
A
A
That
the
language,
I
think,
is
pretty
clear.
H
Okay,
thank
you
any
further
discussion,
commissioner,
marco,
mr
chair.
That's.
J
That's
not
exactly
how
I
understood
it
to
be
characterized.
I.
J
Understood
it
to
be
that
if
there
were
projects.
J
That
municipalities,
like
novi,
wanted
to
do
say,
improve
a
trail
or.
A
Commissioner,
and
to
that
point
that
I
mean.
A
A
On
the
agenda,
commissioner,
luebs
is
that
all
the.
A
A
And
moves
us,
commissioner,
gershenson
seconded
by
commissioner
powell,
to
move.
A
The
resolution,
I
believe
we
have
two
amendments,
so
first,
I'm
going
to
move.
There's
a
budget
amendment
moved.
A
Of
the
resolution
I
mean
the
budget
to
make
sure
the
budget
amendment
is
included
with
it
all
in
favor,
say
aye.
A
We
have
another
amendment,
commissioner
spisz.
A
A
A
118
is
commissioner:
spisz
has
a
an
amendment.
H
Please
remind
me
which
topic
we're
on
this
is
the
mclaren.
H
Adjust
the
260
million
dollar
260
thousand
dollars.
H
I'm
sorry
to
50
000
and
the
rationale
is
behind.
H
Location,
so
that's
why
I
am
recommending
lowering
it
from
260.
A
Amendment
this
proposal
is
a
result
of
our
staff
looking
at
ways
to
help
support
frontline
workers.
A
Patients
and
frankly,
by
doing
you
know
as
it.
A
Also
about
this
proposal,
it
leverages
additional
private
funding
to.
A
In
a
match,
and
so
we're
able
to
stretch,
cares
funding.
A
Further
and
then
lastly,
we
have
supported
other
hospitals
with
grants.
A
That
needs
to
advance
so
I'll,
be
voting
no
against
this
amendment,
commissioner
law,
on
the
amendment.
F
It's
going
to
be
used
in
the
entire
hospital,
we're
not
just.
F
Many
units
they
have
that
are
creating
covid
patients
in
icu
units
that
would
have
been.
A
Commissioner
see
no
further
discussion,
madam
clerk,
please
call
the
roll
on
the
amendment
the
spitz
amendment,
commissioners,.
C
B
No,
mr
chair,
you
have
nine
yeas
12
nays.
A
Insufficient
number
voting
in
the
affirmative.
The
amendment
fails
to
bring.
C
J
This
opportunity
to
put
in
these
systems
if
they
come.
A
Interested
in
entertaining
those
proposals
they
come
forward,
like
I
mentioned,
we
have
already
proof
funding
and
other
hospitals
have
benefited
from
that,
and
I
know
I
don't
speak
for
myself
that.
A
I
would
be
open
to
reviewing
any
proposal
they
can.
C
D
Thank
you,
mr
chair,
and
that
that
was
a
good
question
from
commissioner
long.
D
Who's
who's,
a
nurse
I'm
on
the
pandemic.
D
Healthcare
workers
it's
going
to
save
ppes,
they
can.
D
Behavioral
patients,
you
know
without
talking
about
the.
E
A
I'm
just
curious,
I
I
don't
have
the
full
list
in
front
of
me.
I
know
that.
A
Staff-
and
I
can
work-
rejects
administration
to.
A
Help
gather
that,
on
the
second
point
I
can
say.
A
They
were
able
to
go,
the
hospital
was
able
to
go,
find
private
funding
for
a.
E
F
F
Have
to
enter
the
room
more
than
once
to
fulfill
the
needs.
F
Today
but-
and
she
did
say,
yeah
other
households
already
have
it
in.
F
Many
years
I
was
in
the
providence
hospital
with.
A
Thank
you,
commissioner
tom
any
further
people
want
to
speak
to
this.
A
L
Mentioned
tonight
it's
communication
with.
L
Got
you're
all
messed
up
and
everything,
and
this
this
just
makes
it's
a
pretty
comprehensive
system.
I.
L
And
to
prevent
you
know,
say,
ppe
and
prevent
transmission.
L
Of
covid
that
the
the
virus-
du
jour-
I
guess-
but
you
know.
L
It's
it's
definitely,
I
think
a
good
use
of.
L
A
I
believe
that
concludes
that,
whose
epidemic
committee.
A
And
that
also
concludes
the
regular
regular
agenda.
It
moves
us
to
reports.
A
Of
special
committees
there
is
none,
it
raises
a
special
order
of
business.
F
Well,
thank
you
mr
chair,
two
of
my
motions,
I'd
like
to
postpone
the.
A
To
indicate
that
she'd
like
to
postpone
okay,
we've
done
so.
The
objection
I
mean.
A
Commissioner
kochenderfer
for
yours,
I'd
like
to
postpone
mine
as
well.
Mr
chair.
A
All
right
done
so
without
objection
notice.
The
discharge
in
the
next
meeting.
F
I
won't
okay
that
might
yes,
my
motion
is
to
for
the
board
of.
F
Pandemic
when
I
first
put
this
on,
it
seemed
as.
F
They
have
full-time
part-time,
no
time.
I
think
we
need
to
do
something
as
a.
A
So
you
are
moving
to
discharge
the
resolution.
A
Second
by
commissioner
weipert
further
discussion
on
this,
let
me
speak.
A
A
Oakland
schools,
which
is
a
partner
that
we
should
probably
be
talking
about,
they've,
actually
done
a
considerable
amount
of.
A
I
don't
know
what
a
as
it's
currently
written.
It
says
I
mean.
A
A
A
Your
your
help
on
that
sorry,
I
gotta.
I
just
lost
power
on
my
agenda
for
one.
A
A
How
would
the
board
like
to
do
this?
We
could
move.
A
Those
are
all
local
partnership
grant
agreements.
We
can
move
all.
A
Through
okay,
so
commissioner,
move
out.
A
Move
by
commissioner
long
seconded
by
commissioners
spisz
sorry
to
suspend
the.
A
Opposed
say,
nay,
let's
record
reflect
that.
A
Through
k,
right
now,
if
you're,
if
you're.
A
Not
on
you,
please
go
to
mu,
and
these
again
like
these
are
items.
A
Sufficient
number
voting
affirmative
all
those
resolutions
are
adopted.
It's.
A
That
brings
us
to
item
l
right
now,
commissioner,.
A
F
Okay
item
mail
is
resolution
to
install
a
drop
box
for
campaign.
F
E
Down
here,
yeah,
commissioner
taub
we'll
find.
A
A
F
Whoopi,
I
have
a
quick
question
now:
we've
always
had.
E
This
just
removes
the
specific
requirement
that
members
from
our
board.
F
Thank
you,
mr
chair,
thank
you
and
those
who've
been
doing
it.
D
I
just
wanted
to
follow
up
with
what
chris
ward
said.
It
was
always
under.
D
To
ergy
economic
growth
and
then
that
switched.
B
Okay,
the
resolution
commissioners
markham,
yes,
mcgillivray.
C
Luebs,
yes,
mr
chair,
you
have
19
yeas
zero
nays,
sufficient
number
voting.
A
A
Members
reaffirm
their
appointment.
Thank
you,
commissioner.
Thank
you,
mr
ward,
commissioner
zack.
If
you
can
hold
just
a
second,
can
we.
A
A
Get
a
motion
to
the
appointees
that
those
who've
been
doing
it.
Commissioner,.
C
Commissioner,
mcgillivray
support
by
commissioner
either
suspend
the
rules.
I.
A
A
That's
fine!
They
that
direct
reflected
the
rules
that
are.
M
Okay,
just
very
quickly,
this
is
a
dna
backlog
grant.
M
The
national
institute
of
justice
and
the
bureau
of
justice
assistance
bga.
M
He
never
got
back
to
us
until
you
seen
that
letter
until
july.
30Th.
M
And
he
told
us
they
were
going
to
cut,
they
would
not
agree
to.
M
Way
back
when
helped
us
with
this,
as
did
the.
M
I'm
not
going
to,
but
we
would
appreciate
your
support
on.
E
Support
this
resolution,
but
I
have
a
question
if,
in
fact,
this
funding
does
not
come
through.
F
The
governor
or
the
courts,
the
director
reports
to
the.
B
For
the
message,
commissioner,
travel.
Second,
okay,
thank.
B
Mr
chair,
you
have
18
yeas,
no
nays
a
sufficient
number
voting.
The.
A
Affirmative
the
resolution
is
adopted.
That
brings
me
like
three
additional.
A
Items
these
are
just
referrals,
commissioner.
I'm
gonna
move
that.
A
H
I'll
take
that
one
part
of
the
package.
It's
a
resolution
to.
A
Referred
without
objection
and
there's
one,
I
think,
commissioner.
H
One
