A
B
B
Yeah
the
most
alarming
thing
about
climate
change,
in
my
mind,
is
none
of
the
stuff
that
we
usually
talk
about,
but
just
I'll
wait
till
we
have
a
quorum,
then
I'll
stop
talking.
But
like
I
read
that
the
number
of
well
the
time
it
took
between
things
being
you
know
approximately
like
they
are
now
like
temperate
climate
to
having
an
ice
age
that
you
know
where
there's
a
literally
a
hundred
percent
of
the
time
there
was
an
ice
sheet
over
virginia
latitude
latitude-wise.
B
B
A
You
know
there
is
a
very
interesting
sustainable
sustainability
work
group
in
cncf
that
has
started
so.
Oh.
B
B
A
day
off
to
go
to
like
a
climate
tech
thing
that
was
full
of
operators
and
founders
and
some
investors
and
stuff-
and
it
was
really
interesting
but
honestly,
a
little
bit
depressing.
It
just
felt
like
the
amount
of
demand
needed
to
address
the
carbon
capture
stuff
is
like
100x.
The
current
amount.
It's
just
like
major
policy
changes.
It
just
feels.
A
A
Right
so
I
think
one
of
the
things
that
might
be
useful.
I
think
let
me
just
share
the
the
dock,
but
kubecon
lots
of
our
talks
got
accepted.
Our
maintenance
track
talk
did
get
accepted,
which
morgan
had
submitted
so
for
those
of
us
who
are
going
to
be
there
again.
You
know,
I
think
it's
a
great
way
to
join
in.
I
think
this
was
the
dock
for
kubecon.
Again,
if
any
of
you
are
going
just
please
add
your
names.
There.
A
D
Yeah
I'll
be
there
do
do
we
know
anything
about
this
open,
observability
event
that
is
going
to
happen
on
the
monday.
Someone.
B
C
Don't
know
I
didn't
know
how
that
even
happens
without
us
finding
out
about
it,
not
only
like
you
know,
as
as
the
biggest
cncf
observability
project,
but
also
we
all
work
for
observability
vendors
like
how
did
none
of
us
know.
A
No,
I
think,
I
think
what
I
guessed
was.
You
know
when
I
saw
it,
and
it
was
just
somebody
sharing
some
information
on
twitter.
You
know
of
all
the
places.
It
was
just
that
I
think
what
I'm
just
guessing,
that
the
austin
event
remember
daniel,
which
we
did.
For
you
know,
hotel
was
probably
the
blueprint
for
doing
a
drivability
day
at
kubecon,
but
whoever
is
the
event
organizer
from
cncf.
C
Also,
for
a
time,
the
sole
sponsor
of
the
austin
event
until
we
did
eventually
get
a
couple
more,
but
they
were
the
first
signed
up
to
sponsor
that
event.
A
B
D
Yeah,
but
there
is
a
call
for
collocated
events
right
that
the
scene
is
the
simsef
makes.
So
I
think
this
is
one
of
those.
I
don't
think
it's
actually
planned
by
the
cncf.
It's
just
an
event.
Someone
applies.
D
It
is
yes,
it
is,
I
think
it
is
on
on
the
monday
of
the
event
like,
like
the
24th
or
the
last
day,
2018..
Let
me
take
a
look.
I
have
it
here
in
front
of
me:
it's
on
the
24th
so
and
it
is
collocated
with
with
kubecon.
D
The
24th
is
the
monday
yeah,
which
is
the
day
it
where
you
know
triple
a
the
the
collocated
events
happen.
B
I'm
going
to
reiterate
my
my
ecliptia
hypothesis,
since
when
I
searched
for
it,
I
can
only
find
eduardo
promoting
it.
So
it's
all
good,
but
you
know
whatever.
A
A
So
that
said
again,
what's
what's
the
thinking
around
it,
because
I
don't
know
whether
I
mean
I
haven't
booked
my
tickets
yet,
but
I
don't
even
have
a
talk
or
anything.
We
don't
have
a
talk
there
as
a
team.
So
is
it
something
that
we
should
participate
or
what
do
you
guys
think.
D
D
I
did
apply,
I
mean
when
I
got
those
talks
rejected
by
kubecon.
I
thought
you
know,
I'm
gonna
be
there
anyway.
So
why
not
just
apply
to
you.
A
C
A
C
D
So
it
closes
on
the
8th
and
cfp
notifications
are
on
the
12th
of
september,
with
a
schedule
been
announced
on
the
13th
of
september.
A
Okay,
so
I
mean
maybe
we
should
submit
some
more
talks.
You
know,
maybe
we
could
just
submit
and
join
telemetry.
You
know
and
come
contribute,
and
these
are
the
areas
you
can
start.
You
know
come
in
contributing
in
at
least
an
initial.
You
know
again
it's
a
call
for
action
right
for
the
project.
D
Very
specific
to
the
collector,
very
technical,
high
level.
A
C
You
want
to
do
a
talk
together.
Is
that
what
you're
saying
yeah.
D
A
C
A
A
Okay,
we
had
quran,
we
were
just
talking
about
oops
maria
sorry
go
ahead.
You
already
added
yourself.
A
Yeah
yeah,
we
were
just
talking
about
coupon
and
again
marian
thanks
for
submitting
the
talk.
I
think
we
heard
about
it
being
accepted
and
again
daniel.
We
were
just
adding
our
names
to
the
doc.
You
know
for
folks
who
are
going
to
attend
and
then
I
think,
closer
to
the
event
we
can
figure
out.
You
know
what
else
do
we
want
to
do?
Do
we
get
a
booth
morgan?
Do
you
know.
D
A
C
I
assume
the
demo
application.
I
think
that
was
the
kind
of
target
was
to
have
it
available
for
kubecon
for
use
at
the
booth
that'd
be
super
cool
yeah.
That
was
my
biggest
regret
from
the
the
last
kubecon
was.
We
didn't
really
have
anything
at
the
booth,
so
we
were
just
showing
like
the
website
in
the
docs,
which
is
not
very
not
very
eye-catching.
A
D
D
C
A
C
Hi,
I
don't
see
any
other
agenda
items.
I
guess
one
thing
that
I
think
we
should
bring
up
sooner
rather
than
later
is
the
the
elections.
Yes,
I
want
to
push
that
too
late.
Oh.
C
Yeah
last
year,
I
did
it
or
helped
do
it
this
year,
I
can't
since
yeah,
so
somebody
will
need
to
volunteer
yeah.
A
C
B
A
We
we
got
a
lot
more,
you
know
standardization
in
place
last
time,
daniel
and
me,
and
liz
and
liz's,
mostly
delicious
yeah,.
A
B
If
liz
is
like
willing
to
be
like
you
know
the
person
doing
it,
that
would
be
amazing,
assuming
obviously,
if
she's
running
that's
great
and
she
shouldn't
I'm
really
reticent
to
sign
up
for
anything
right
now.
Just
because,
if
I'm
like
doing
something
tactical
these
days,
it
kind
of
just
doesn't
get
done.
So
I'm
really
worried
about
it
frankly,
but
I'm
I'm
not
like
spiritually,
I'm
happy
to
volunteer
I'm
just
kidding.
A
A
D
If
the
process
is
outlined
somewhere,
I
can
I
can,
I
don't
know,
given
some
mentoring,
given
some
help
from
from
the
experienced
folks
I
can,
I
can
take
care
of
it.
I
can
lead
it.
C
But
without
there's
a
folder
called
elections
and
there's
a
document
for
each
previous
election
and
that's
probably
the
best
source
of
information
directly.
A
A
Liz
we'll
just
do
a
slack
channel
and
figure
it
out,
because
we
can
definitely
walk
you
through
the
what
we
collected
up
and
we
were
pretty
organized
about
it.
D
Time
and
the
time
commitment
I
can
certainly
I
can
certainly
volunteer
for
that.
Yeah.
A
Because
things
are
already
set
up,
it's
just
more
that
we
need
to
set
it
up
for
this
year
and
typically,
you
know
we
do
communications
and
stuff,
and
I
can
definitely
help
you
with
drafting
those
and
then
you
can
just
publish
them.
You
know
at
least
the
communication.
Stuff
is
not
a
conflict
of
interest,
but
you
know
everything
else.
The
process.
B
B
A
B
B
There's
a
bit
of
a
flurry
towards
the
end
of
the
deadlines,
like
a
lot
of
people,
apply
the
last
minute
or
register
the
last
minute
and
they're,
not
technically
qualified
or
making
exceptions
like.
That
was
the
piece
that
I
remember
feeling
like
a
bit
of
a
scramble
and
that's
the
part
I'm
worried
about
volunteering,
for
because
I
think
you
kind
of
have
to
block
the
data.
A
C
I
would
say
the
best
learning
from
last
year
was
we
had
a
lot
of
things
that
we
we
just
made
judgment
calls
on
like
allowing
people
to
vote,
even
though
they
had
missed
deadlines
and
stuff
like
that,
and
we
we
ended
up
being
very
permissive,
just
allowing
just
saying
yes
to
everybody,
because
we
did
not
have
very
well
defined
documentation
on
a
lot
of
people
just
didn't
know.
I
think
it's
totally.
C
Yeah,
if
you
guys
can
do
it
again,
I
would
say,
set
much
harder
deadlines
and
then
be
stricter
about
it,
so
that
you
don't
have
to
make
judgment
calls
because
we
felt
weird
deciding.
Oh,
this
person
can
vote
or
not
like
it's
a
lot
better
to
just
have
have
a
policy
and
stick
to
it
as
strictly
as
possible.
Yes,.
C
B
Other
suggestion,
sorry,
maybe
it's
the
wrong
time
to
do
this,
but
it's
just
very
quick,
like
the
exceptions,
were
definitely
the
sketchiest
part.
Not
I
don't
really
regret
any
exceptions
per
se.
I
think
they
all
made
sense
and
the
people
were
like
genuinely
interested
and
should
have
had
to
say,
but
there's
so
many
other
people
that
also
weren't
formally
qualified.
That
probably
didn't
ask
for
exceptions,
so
it
felt
kind
of
like
not
so
great.
So
we
might
want
to
revisit
the
actual
qualification
criteria
based
on
the
exceptions
we
made.
B
I
think
that
would
be
really
appropriate
and
then
and
then
we
could
just
say
no
frankly,
it's
like.
If
people
don't
meet
those
laxer
requirements,
then
I
think
it's
like.
No
I'm
sorry
like
you
do
actually
have
to
somehow
be
involved
in
this
community,
but
the
formal
requirements
were
a
bit
too
strict
is
kind
of
my
quick
take
based
on
what
I
remember
so
I.
D
B
A
A
So
if
you
can
just
publish
those
guidelines
or
at
least
revisit
what
our
guidelines
are
and
make
sure
that
they're
consistent
for
all
those
exceptions
that
we
are,
you
know
we
kind
of
run
into
from
experience.
Maybe
that's
you
know
something
we
can
do
ahead
of
time
and
then
jurassia
and
bogdan
have
kindly
volunteered
to
you
know
kind
of
be
available
in
in
the
you
know
in
the
process.
So
that's
that
works
and
then
we'll
chat
with
liz
to
figure
out
if
she
can
help.
A
C
A
C
I
do
have
one
quick
topic:
does
anyone
know
in
javascript
we
release
like
50
or
60
packages
all
at
once
and
we're
running
into
rate
limiting
problems
with
github?
Does
anyone
know
what
our
you
know,
payment
tier
is
on
github
and
if
there's
any
possibility
of
raising
rate
limits,
I.
A
Think
the
process
I'm
aware
of
when
this
we
had
this
issue
a
couple
of
years
ago,
daniel
was
to
file
a
service
ticket
in
the
in
their
service
desk
of
cncf,
and
then
they
actually
respond
back
on
whether
they
can
lift
the
change,
the
rate
limits
or
not,
and
they
work
with
github
to
get
that
done.
So
it's
typically
us
as
a
project
filing
a
service
ticket
and
then
service
desk
ticket
and
then
them
following
up
on
it.
Okay,.
A
All
right,
I
just
wanted
to
also
call
out
that
there
is
now
an
apac
time
for
the
user
group
user
meeting
and
user
meeting
every
eight
eight
weeks.
So
I
think
char
shar
sent
out
a
set
up
in
invite
earlier
today,
so
just
wanted
to
call
that
to
everyone's
attention,
because
that
will
enable
us
to
get
more
apac
users
also
joining
in.
A
All
right
and
then
from
the
cncf
tag,
observability
tag
I
just
wanted
to
let
you
know
that
there
have
been
a
lot
of
good
folks,
you
know
demoing
or
talking
about
open
telemetry
in
the
observability
tag,
and
liz
will
be
presenting
on
august
16th
on
a
hotel.
So
again,
you
know
please
participate
whenever
you
can
good
for
the
project
and
any
other.
You
know
areas
that
you
want
to
call
out
or
want
to
just
highlight
and
get
more
folks
to
contribute
a
good
venue
to
use.
