Description
OpenTelemetry Prometheus WG
A
Sorry,
ryan
mancuso
just
posted
in
the
hotel
user
research
channel,
not
the
end
user
working
group
channel
saying
that
she's
in
that
ish
in
the
wrong
zoom.
So
I
posted
that
there
are
three
of
us
in
this
one.
A
A
A
First
time,
I've
made
it,
but
from
what
I
understand,
rin
or
oh
gosh,
I'm
blanking
on
her
name
she's,
one
of
the
hotel
maintainers,
either
of
them
usually
run
this
and
there's
usually
a
topic
or
a
deep
dive.
Like
a
case
study
yeah.
B
B
I
don't
know
if
you've
had
a
chance
to
take
a
look
at
the
the
notes
from
the
previous
sessions,
but
you
can
see
the
the
usual
content
like
usually
before
the
meeting
people
add
their
items
to
the
agenda.
Sometimes
people
will
remember
them.
You
know
two
minutes
into
the
meeting
today
perhaps
will
end
up
adjourning.
After
all,
I
do
know
I
do
know
that
shah
was
going
to
be
on
vacation
and
maybe
run
also,
but
I
don't
I
couldn't
say
that
I
couldn't
say
for
sure.
B
B
Should
we
get
started,
is
there
are.
C
Yeah
char
usually
leads
these
meetings
and
is
out.
I
thought
reece
was
going
to
lead
the
meeting.
I
actually
wasn't
supposed
to
be
here
either,
let's
see
follow-ups
from
last
time.
Let
me
look
through
last
time
because
I
was
actually
present
at
the
meeting.
Let's
see
the
user
discussion
group
happened,
I
think
we
should
ask.
C
It
seemed
like
only
four
people
attended.
I
think
that's
not
totally
surprising
because
they
scheduled
it
with
only
two
weeks
notice
and
I
think,
as
we're
learning,
it
takes
a
long
time
to
get
things
promoted
through
open
telemetry
channels.
So
I
think
the
main
learning
is
we
probably
need
to
you
know.
I
think
the
four
people
had
a
good
discussion.
C
B
Okay,
no,
I
I
know
same
for
me:
okay,
that's
totally
fair.
C
Pre-Package,
a
tweet
for
vendor
social
media
managers.
I
think
that
was
shar.
She
was
gonna
email,
some
people
from
her
list.
I
could
do
that,
though.
I
could
try
the
dm
poke
at
other
vendors,
because
I
have
access
to
our
account.
A
But
for
things
like
that,
I'd
be
happy
to
help
amplify.
Is
there
like
a
channel
or
some
way
to
get
access
to
those
tonight
potentially
and
go
on
and
amplify.
C
I
don't
think
there
is
a
channel,
could
you
do
you
want
to
start
want
to
add
some
of
us
sure.
C
Let's
see
the
vendor
neutral,
talks
are
going
on
on
august
23rd.
So
far,
we've
had
69
rsvps
to
the
meetup,
which
probably
means
20.
People
will
come
just
based
on
how
these
usually
go.
So
I
think
it's
going
to
be
okay.
If
people
wanted
to
boost
that,
what.
B
C
B
B
No,
no,
you,
I
think
you
did
the
right
things,
I'm
sort
of
recovering
from
some
time
away
from
the
from
the
open,
telemetry
slack.
So
I've
probably
cleared
many
notifications
and
I
need
to
get
back
into
that.
I
don't
think
you
did
anything
wrong.
There.
C
Just
posted
it
in
the
me
in
the
user
research
channel,
let's
post
it
in
the
notes
as
well,
there's
actually
a
blog
post
now
on
the
open,
telemetry
blog,
but
that
just
happened
yesterday.
I
ended
up
making
a
meet
up
because
it
didn't
seem.
The
blog
was
taking
a
really
long
time
to
be
approved
and
I
was
going
on
leave,
and
so
it
didn't
seem
clear
that,
like
it
would
be
approved
in
time
for
me
to
advertise.
B
C
C
Up
not
on
leave
because
well
I
flew
all
the
way
to
the
east
coast
for
an
event
that
was
then
canceled
for
covid,
like
less
than
24
hours
after
it
started.
Oh
no.
C
C
B
Do
you
sorry,
do
you
need
a
last
time
you
needed
a
volunteer
for
september?
What.
C
It
would
be
great
if
we
could
get
an
end
user,
but
someone
from
one
of
the
vendors
is
fine
as
long
as
it's
a
subject
of
interest
to
end
users,
that's
how
the
first
one
was
structured.
Reece
has
offered
to
maybe
give
a
talk,
but
I
would
love
it
if
it
was
truthfully.
I
would
love
it
if
it
was
someone
not
from
new
relic
just
because
it
was
new,
relic
and
honeycomb.
Last
time.
B
B
Yeah
there's
there's
someone
that
there's
someone
that
sujay
and
I
have
spoken
to
you
know
a
google
customer
and
I
was
trying
to
figure
out
if
it
was
bet
you
know
just
being
respectful
of
their
time
if
it
made
more
sense
to
have
them,
attend
the
attend
this
sig
and
talk
about
their
experience
or
to
give
a
talk
at
this
forum,
and
my
sense
right
now
is
like
them
attending
the
sig.
B
C
C
I
think
if
they
want
to
give
a
talk,
that's
fine,
but
I
also
recognize
like
for
some
people
like
it's
a
lot
of
effort,
putting
together
energy
to
give
a
talk.
The
point
of
the
talks
is
supposed
to
be
to
draw
end
users
in
so
that
has
a
different
goal
than
the
interviews
I
mean
the
interviews
are
to
sort
of
find
out
more
about
them.
C
C
So
speaking
of
which
august
end
user
interview
scheduling,
I
am
talking
with
someone
for
october
from
a
uk
company
and
now
I'm
blanking
on
their
company's
name
because
it
wasn't.
It's
not
one,
that's
familiar
to
me,
but
I
would
say:
yeah:
let's
get
your
person
on
for
november,
maybe
okay,
quarterly
survey,
analysis
and
response.
So
I
can't
say
much
about
this
because
I
don't
work
on
the
survey.
C
I
guess
we
can
look
at
the
spreadsheet
and
see
if
it
seems
like
it's
going
forward.
I
think
a
bunch
of
us
sort
of
posted
about
it.
So
does
anybody
work
on
the
survey
and
have.
B
What
hear
me
I
think
we
were
very
interested
in
it,
but
you
know,
since
someone's
been
working
on
it
so
and
driving
it
forward.
So
intentionally
we've
mainly
been
working.
C
Yes,
so
and
then
the
increasing
engagement
in
the
hotel
end
users
saying
that
is
happening.
I
am
asking
folks
open-ended
questions.
A
couple
of
them
are
very
enthusiastic
about
answering.
It
would
be
good
if
more
people
wanted
to
volunteer
to
sort
of
participate
in
trying
to
get
folks
to
talk
in
there.
So
it's
not
so
silent,
just
because
I
feel
like
a
like
I'm
not
that
deep
in
what
it's
like
to
implement
so
like.
Sometimes
I
can't
respond
to
them.
C
Well
so
like
even
when
I
ask
a
very
general
question:
if
folks
want
to
like
jump
on
and
engage
with
people
about
their
specific
environments,
that
would
be
good
and
also
like
asking
questions
like
I
think,
if
you
have
things
you
want
to
know
from
end
users,
that's
a
decent
conversation
starter.
I
think
we
could
think
better
about.
Besides
just
asking
questions:
how
to
kind
of
increase
engagement
that
was
just
kind
of
fast
and
cheap.
C
What
else,
what
are
there
topics
that
people
want
to
discuss.
C
A
So
this
hotel
end
users,
that's
a
slack
channel.
C
A
That's
my
phone.
You
need
to
reach
out
to
rhys
or
shah,
say
that
you've
read
the
code
of
conduct
and
you
accept
it
and
then
they'll
add
you.
So
that's
why
you
don't
see
it.
There
was
a
blog
on
the
hotel
website
when
it
was
announced
that
had
that
information,
but
as
as
with
anything,
if
you
don't
know
that
it's
there,
then
you
don't
know
that
it's
there.
B
B
I
think,
then
that
might
be
it
for
today
I
learned
something
very
useful,
so
at
least
I'm
glad
I
attended.
C
B
A
Chat
there
you
go
yeah.
This
is
the
first
meeting.
I've
been
able
to
attend
much
to
my
chagrin,
but
I'm
really
glad
to
see
it
and
hope
to
see
more
of
all
of
you
thanks
so
much
rin
for
keeping
us
honest
and
catching
us
up.
C
Yeah,
I'm
glad
to
meet
you
libby
and
yeah,
looking
forward
to
connecting
more
and
working
in
this
social
media
channel.
