Description
cncf-opentelemetry meeting-2's Personal Meeting Room
A
Yeah
we
might,
we
might
be
able
to
give
some
time
back.
B
I
did
have
one,
but
I
probably
needs
tiggering
to
be
here.
A
while
ago.
We
talked
about
for
the
events
having
the
domain
name,
potentially
merged
I'm,
not
quite
sure
where
that
ended
up.
C
Okay,
since
just
a
quick
rules
of
the
road
kind
of
questions,
since
we
don't
have
a
big
agenda
like
for
this
document
with
the
attendees
I
mean
I'm,
not
a
member
of
this
group
I
just
I'm
a
lurker
am
I
supposed
to
put
my
name
there,
or
is
that
only
for,
like
members.
A
Membership
is
not
it's
not.
There
is
no
I
guess
formal
membership
membership
is
the
people
that
attend
with
any
sort
of
regularity.
So
you
know,
if
you
feel
comfortable
sharing
your
name
there.
It
leaves
a
good
paper
trail
of
who
was
kind
of
involved
in
the
conversation,
I
suppose,
there's
nothing
obligating
you
to
include
your
name.
There.
C
A
Well,
we're
a
couple
minutes
in
if
folks
have
anything
they
want
to
add
to
the
agenda,
please
do
or
just
bring
it
up.
If
not,
you
know,
I'll
give
it
a
minute
or
two
and
and
for
others
to
potentially
join,
and
then
we
can
end
early.
D
The
main
reason
I
joined
was
whatever
that
one
small
PR
but
I.
Think
Tyrion
is
the
last
remaining
person
with
a
question,
but
in
case
folks
haven't
I,
don't
know
what
I'm
talking
about
I
will
put
it
in
the
agenda.
A
A
So
the
one
eye
length
is
about
API,
naming
and
essentially
I
say
that
we
shouldn't
include
the
words
Bridge
or
a
Pender
in
any
sort
of
artifact
or
class
names
or
package
names
of
artifacts
that
contribute
to
the
logs
Bridge,
API
or
SDK,
and
this
is
just
to
keep
the
the
ability,
if
we
ever
want
to
add
a
user
facing
log
API
in
the
future,
that
the
logspurge
API
could
evolve
into
that.
A
You
know
that
it
doesn't
have
anything
in
its
name.
That
suggests
that
its
scope
must
be
restricted
to
the
bridge
in
a
Pender
use
case.
C
D
Yeah
cool
and
then
the
other
one
just
to
share
with
folks
is
a
small
refactor
to
the
bridge.
Api
spec,
so
I
could
put
out
a
PR
there.
That
kind
of
it
was
to
the
SDK
spec
to
dance
around.
D
This
idea
that
the
API
spec
kind
of
suggested
that
context
was
maybe
a
field
of
a
log
record
or
like
a
property
of
a
log
record
or
something
which
I,
which
I
think
is
not
necessarily
the
case,
and
so,
instead
of
that,
we
we
discussed
and
I
made
this
change
to
the
API
spec
to
basically
clarify
that,
while
context
is
important
as
with
a
number
of
other
parameters
for
emitting
log
records,
it's
not
that
it's
a
like
a
necessarily
a
property
of
a
log
record.
D
C
A
A
Well,
we
don't
need
to
dwell
on
this
stuff
too
much.
If
nobody
has
comments.
You
know,
please
take
a
look
at
those
issues
offline.
A
A
And
I
guess
just
a
just.
A
a
bookkeeping
note
is
that
once
the
logs,
API
and
SDK
is
stable,
we'll
probably
spin
down
this
working
group,
you
know
back
when
metrics
was
approaching
stability.
There
was
a
dedicated
working
group
similar
to
this,
where
they
discussed
the
active
issues,
but
once
once
it
was
stable,
the
metrics
working
group
rolled
into
the
specification
working
group
I
imagine
the
same
thing
will
be
true
for
this.
A
There
there
just
won't
be
enough
remaining
open
issues
specific
to
logs
to
to
require
a
dedicated
working
group
and
I.
Guess
one
interesting
part
about
that
is
you
know,
we're
I.
Think
nav
we've
been
trying
to
find
a
time
where
everybody
can
meet
for
a
client
instrumentation.
It
could
be
that
in
a
couple
of
weeks
this
time
slot
opens
up,
and
we
might
want
to
consider
that.
A
B
Well,
currently,
we
have
the
two,
so
we
have
the
the
Tuesday
one
which
you
can
come
to
I,
don't
think
Josh
can
come
to
that.
One
though
right
I
did
raise
it
in
the
meeting
this
morning
for
other
people
who
do
attend
the
Wednesday
that
don't
attend
the
Tuesday
to
chime
in
on
that
slack
discussion.
B
A
Well,
that
sounds
good.
Okay,
I'm
gonna
end
this
meeting
early,
because
there's
no
other
issues
in
the
agenda.
We'll
see
you
next
week
and
please
comment
on
those
two
remaining
open
issues.
If
you
have
opinions
thanks,
everyone
see
you
later
bye-bye
thanks.
