Open cncf-opentelemetry-meeting-3@cncf.io's Personal Meeting Room
A
A
Yeah
I'm
I'm
excited
for
excited
to
not
work
for
a
minute
or
two.
A
A
B
C
D
E
Yeah
so
I
wanted
to
share
an
update
on
the
068
police
cycle
on
yeah
discuss.
How
should
we
solve
the
problem
that
currently
exists?
We
have
released
like
web
talk,
The,
Collector
and
collector
control
repositories,
and
we
have
also
took
the
releases
one,
but
the
release
job
on,
like
the
GitHub
action
studio,
is
failing.
E
It's
unclear
exactly
why
it's
failing.
We
know
it's
running
out
of
space
when
doing
the
release,
but
we
don't
know
much
else
yeah.
The
main
thing
I
want
to
discuss
here
is
like
how
once
we
figure
out
what
is
happening.
Do
we
want
to
talk
068.1
just.
E
Repository
go
with
that
or
how
do
we
want
to
fix
this,
since
it's
a
problem
specific
to
policies,
foreign.
G
The
the
binaries
from
the
contrib
and
the
code
repository
there's
nothing
nothing
from
the
releases
repo
which
contains
the
bulk
of
what
people
care
about.
E
G
F
Things
need
to
not
care
about
that.
It's
it's,
not
a
library.
It
shouldn't
be
used
in
that
way,
so
I'm
less
worried
about
that.
I
think
that
the
the
splitting
approach
that
Alex
has
referenced
and
proposed
might
actually
be
a
good
thing
as
well
in
terms
of
getting
released
done
quickly,
because
it
will
also
parallelize
the
build
across
the
Matrix
of
jobs.
E
Okay,
then
I
think
I
can.
B
E
The
zero
six
data
from
releases
now
yeah
to
avoid
any
confusion,
and
we
can
add
it
back
once
we
have
tried
the
splitting
if
that
works.
G
Sounds
good?
Do
we
want
to
go
to
the
the
next
item.
B
F
For
renaming
I
think
the
name
is
fine
too,
but
I
think
changing
it
at
this
point
would
change
way
too
many
configurations
and
processes
that
people
have
built
up
around
the
use
of
it.
B
G
Yeah
I
just
wanted
to
ask
if
the
group,
if
we
should
just
Mark
the
next
meeting
as
canceled,
since
it's
usually
in
the
middle
of
holidays
in
a
short
week,
and
even
this
meeting,
is
only
has
nine
attendees,
which
is
pretty
pretty
slim,
so
I
suspect,
there's
not
going
to
be
a
lot
of
people
at
the
next
meeting.
A
I
have
a
question.
This
is
not
really
like
an
open
issue
or
anything
I
made
I
was
thinking
of
making
an
open
issue
but
kind
of
just
curious
for
y'all's
opinion
context
is
I.
Have
some
GA
unit
XML
files,
which
loosely
I'd
like
to
translate
to
traces
or
like
a
collection
of
traces?
Maybe
like
linked
I
know
we
have
in
contrib
there's
like
an
otlp
Json
file,
receiver
or
something
would
y'all.
Do
you
think
it's
better
practice
to
write
a
receiver?
A
That's
like
a
you
know,
junit
receiver,
that
which
basically
just
does
that
which
takes
you
know
some
heuristics
as
like
nudge,
these
this
XML
to
things
that
look
like
traces
or
should
I
just
do
that
in
a
separate
process
and
write
them
as
otlp
Json
to
a
file
and
then
just
use
the
existing
receivers
that
are
already
Upstream
foreign.
F
That's
already
happened
in
the
past,
but
going
through
otlp
Json
might
be
another
good
alternative
if
you're,
basically
just
taking
sub
XML
and
translating
it
to
it's,
a
Json
that
looks
like
no
TLP
I
think
either
either
created
a
customer
saver
or
going
through
a
TLP,
Json
or
viable
choices.
A
Cool
yeah
I'll,
probably
just
make
a
custom
one
and
not
you
know,
maybe
I'll
link
to
the
code
or
new
issue.
I,
don't
think
it's
really
something
that
deserves
to
be
Upstream
like
I,
don't
know
it's
probably
too
opinionated
to
be
upstreamed,
because
I
have
some
custom
stuff
in
it.
But
okay
yeah,
you
know
thank
you.
Other
people
have
let
me
know,
but
it
sounds
like
two.
No,
no
wrong
path
here.
A
Yeah,
that's
good
yeah!
No
for
sure
it's
there's,
there's
General
stuff
in
there.
That
I
think
is
useful
for
people
because
we
have
like
I
poked
around
and
we
have
a
bunch
of
like
in
Ruby
land.
We
have
something
we
have
like
an
R-Spec
instrumentation,
which
is
sort
of
already
just
doing
that.
Just
cutting
out
the
junit
part,
so
I
think
it's
like
a
generalizable
issue.
A
People
want
to
represent
their
tests
or
cicd
things
as
traces,
yeah,
sorry,
I,
just
I,
don't
have
a
ton
of
specifics
because
it's
just
in
my
head
and
my
head
is
brain
fog.
I,
don't
forget
it
so
I
don't
but
I'll
I'll
make
an
open
issue
if
I
have
code,
that's
worth
sharing.
