cncf-opentelemetry meeting-2's Personal Meeting Room
A

B
A
A
A
B
All
right,
let's
get
started,
welcome
back
everybody
start
up
another
week,
so
starting
off
with
the
Sig
check-in
from
the
spec,
we
had
our
October
release
on
our
monthly
Cadence
I
think
we
discussed
the
contents
of
that
release
last
week.
But
if
you
have
any
questions
feel
free
to
raise
them.
No
new
updates
for
PHP
or
some
of
these
other
six
here,
no
updates
for
Java
Java
instrumentation
for
JavaScript.
We
have
a
metrics
GA,
that's
pending
TC
review
and
docs,
and
sign
off
from
all
JS
maintainers
wow.
B
That's
great,
no
updates
from
python.net
for
go.
We've
released,
.32.0
on
related
bug,
fixes
0.32.1
last
week,
which
contained
the
alpha
metric
SDK,
as
well
as
more
bug
fixes
for
the
metrics
SDK
that'll
be
coming
this
week
and
open
census,
Bridge
support
for
the
hotel
collector.
Oh,
that's!
Pretty
cool.
B
B
C
Say
it
again:
I'm
sorry,
yeah
Morgan
I
just
want
to
jump
in
on
that
go
open
sense,
Bridge.
B
C
No,
not
a
problem
just
wanted
to
call
out
that
there's
kind
of
a
push
for
this,
the
open
census
bridge,
is
one
of
the
things
that's
blocking
the
hotel
collector
from
using
the
new
SDK,
which
is
really
important
to
us
for
feedback
as
well
as
just
kind
of
unifying
across
the
project,
and
one
of
the
things
that's
kind
of
blocking
a
way
to
solve
this.
Is
this
PR
that's
linked
here?
So
if
you
haven't
already,
please
take
a
look
at
this
metric
producer.
C
Pr
I
think
there's
a
little
bit
of
contention
that
Josh
McDonald
is
starting
to
I
think
deal
with
as
well,
but
yeah
I
just
kind
of
wanted
to
call
attention
to
it,
because
the
sooner
we
could
get
this,
the
the
better.
We
provide
a
better
solution.
I
think,
in
the
end
time,.
B
Okay,
I
think
that
doesn't
know,
apologies
again,
erlang
We've
metrics
merged
in
the
experimental
application
logs.
The
logs
SDK
PR
is
open
to
experimental.
Let
me
set
an
alpha
release
is
part
of
the
experimental
application.
That'll
be
coming
soon,
very,
very
cool.
B
Any
other
topics
for
today
I
think
next
week
we'll
have
an
update
on
plans
for
kubecon
I.
Think
some
things
are
still
getting
arranged
right
now.
B
I
need
to
chat
with
Austin
who
I
know
is
organizing
organize
an
event,
so
I
don't
think,
there's
anything
firm
yet
to
discuss
around
kubecon
other
than
if
you're
going
to
be
there
I
think
there
will
be
a
large
number
of
Hotel
contributors
and
we
have
a
booth
in
other
things,
but
I'll
give
a
a
bigger
update
next
week
and
I'll
see
if
I
can
rope
in
Austin
for
that
as
well.
B
Think
it's
gonna
be
on
the
Tuesday
I
I
haven't
gotten
confirmation
from
Austin
that
it's
like
actually
they've
like
booked
a
spot
successfully,
so
that
that's
my
only
like
I
need
to
chat
with
them
to
make
sure
like
everything's
confirmed,
it's
actually
happening.
A
B
Point
Yeah,
so
basically
yeah
plan
on
I
mean
worst
case
I.
Guess
we
have
the
meeting
room
so
like
there
will
be
an
Hotel
event
on
the
Tuesday
of
kubecon,
Austin
and
and
to
a
lesser
extent,
myself
and
others
are,
are
organizing
again.
Details
are
not
firm,
so
I'm
hesitant
to
give
them
out
because
things
may
change
dramatically,
but
we'll
get
an
update
from
Austin
I
think
it
is
called
next
week
where
we
can
go
over
that
but
plan.
B
If
you
are
going
to
be
a
kubecon
on
the
Tuesday,
there's
going
to
be
a
like
a
hotel
sort
of
community
event
and
I
know,
there's
a
number
of
other
talks
and
things
happening
at
kubecon
related
again
we'll
go
into
details
next
week,
There's
a
booth
and
unlike
in
Valencia,
we
actually
have
the
booth
for
the
whole
day.
So
we
have
a
open
Telemetry
boost
that
we
can
use
to
show
off
the
project
to
attendees
at
cubecon,
which
should
be
kind
of
exciting.
B
Well,
in
that
case,
we
can
wrap
this
up
again.
I
apologize.
My
speakers
were
not
if
I
talked
over
anyone
I'll
see
everybody
this
week
on
various
calls
and
then
we'll
get
updates
on
kubecon
next
week,
as
well
as
Daniel,
probably
makes
sense
to
have
an
update
on
the
election
next
week
as
well.
