Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
B
Okay,
let's
get
started
so
we'll
begin
with
the
sick
check-in.
Thank
you
for
writing
in
your
items.
If
you
haven't
written
any
any
in
yet,
please
start
adding
them
quickly.
First
is
the
spec,
so
spec
release
1.10
was
completed
last
friday.
That
will
be
april's
main
spec
release.
B
Congratulations
on
that.
I
do
have
anyone
from
the
tc
who
wants
to
speak
to
it.
C
B
Yeah
those
are
both
significant,
so
it's
great
that
we
actually
got
that
out.
So
both
congratulations
and
thank
you.
B
B
So
then
for
php
we
have
version
0.0.9
released
for
java,
we're
prepping
releasing
1.13.0,
which
will
be
our
release
candidate
for
stable
metrics,
sdk,
fantastic
planning
to
have
1.14.0
to
have
the
metrics
sdk
released
as
a
stable,
artifact.
Okay,.
A
So
last
week
on
the
call
you
know
there's
a
discussion
about
this
and
we
had
mentioned
that
1.13.0
was
going
to
be
a
stable
artifact
for
us
yeah.
A
A
sig-
and
you
know,
with
the
number
of
changes
that
we're
making
to
the
java
metrics
sdk.
We
decided
to
be
safer
and
to
to
make
this
a
release
candidate
and
push
the
stable
release
to
1.14.0
so
a
bit
of
a
change
of
plans.
But
we
think
it's
probably
the
the
safer
move.
B
I
think
I
think
that's
smart
yeah,
that's
good
gives
us
a
chance
to
really
vet
things
and
if
they
go
well,
then
we
can
continue
to
just
release
them.
C
Now
jack,
I
have
a
small
question
by
the
way
on
the
timeline.
Just
out
of
curiosity
114
will
that
happen
in
early
may,
probably.
A
Yeah,
so
we
do
monthly
releases,
so
we
we're
planning
on
doing
our
our
april
release
this
friday
and
the
the
the
may
release
would
be
in
early
may.
Thank
you
perfect.
B
Okay,
no
updates
for
draft
instrumentation
javascript.
Do
we
have
any
updates
on
the
metrics
sdk
work
just
going
through
to
see
if
we
have
anyone.
B
B
No
significant
updates
for
pythonfor.net
we've
got
1.2.0
rc4
that
includes
metrics
preparing
to
stabilize
and
ship
1.2,
stable,
okay,
so
similar
status
to
java
there,
a
quick
question
both
for
the
the
javan.net
people,
like
I,
I
think
I
know
the
answer,
but
just
to
be
super
clear
roughly
like
do.
We
have
a
sense
for
when
that
actual
ga
stable
release
would
happen.
A
Java,
it
would
be
our
may
release
so
early
may.
Okay,
great.
B
Fantastic
okay,
moving
on
for
go
working
towards
1.7.0.
This
includes
metrics
testing,
cleanup
and
cementness
update
to
semantic
conventions.
Active
development
on
the
revised
metrics
sdk
is
underway,
planned
to
release
contrib
samplers
this
week
c,
plus
version
1.3
planned
for
this
week.
Bug
fixes
for
traces
and
build
improvements,
expecting
the
rc
of
the
metrics
sdk
for
end
of
april
and
the
ga
no
dates
finalized
could
be
one
or
two
months
after
rc.
That
makes
sense.
B
Ruby,
metrics
work
is
in
progress,
no
firm
dates,
okay,
and
no
updates.
Further
down
all
right.
First
topic
of
discussion
carter
says
we
need
feedback
on
a
possible
shared
community
demo
app
and
potential
collaborators.
B
Yeah
great,
do
you
want
to
speak
to
this.
D
Yeah
sure
so
this
was
just
kind
of
a
problem
we're
approaching
from
the
community,
so
we
were
looking
at
providing
some
sort
of
demo
application
for
customers,
and
then
we
started
looking
around
noticing
google
aws
lightstep.
You
know
all
these
different
providers
have
their
own
applications,
but
they're
also
they're,
not
feature-rich.
They
have
to
own
the
support
themselves
and
they
also
don't
have
you
know
all
the
languages
present.
So
we
were
running
or
we
were
interested
to
see.
If
there
was
any.
D
You
know,
possibility
of
community
involvement
for
some
sort
of
shared
demo
application
and
we
could
build
it
on
top
of
a
tool
like
dapper,
so
we
could
also
make
it
platform
and
back
end
agnostic
as
well.
So
we're
really
hoping
to
get
some
feedback
on
the
document
itself
and
then
also
identify
you
know
any
potential
collaborators
as
well.
We've
tentatively
talked
to
google
and
they
are
interested
in.
You
know
potentially
donating
their
demo
application
to
open
telemetry.
B
That
sounds
fantastic
and
yeah
like
I,
I
have
some
experience
like
I
used
to
work
at
google,
and
so
I
certainly
worked
a
lot
of
their
demo
app
and,
I
will
say,
like
we
had
splunk
use
a
version
of
it
that
we've
integrated
hotel
into
more
directly,
but
at
the
same
time
like,
I
would
prefer
to
have
a
nice
hotel
community
demo,
app
potentially
based
on
the
google
one
position
based
elsewhere.
The
google
one's
probably
a
good
starting
point.
This
seems
excellent.
So
thank
you
for
for
raising
this.
D
Yeah,
of
course,
if
you're
interested
and
participating
just
reach
out
to
me
or
riley.
B
All
right
well,
thank
you
for
bringing
that
up
carter.
I
know
like
certainly
speaking
for
myself
and
like
as
much,
we
will
definitely
be
in
touch
I'm
guessing.
I
had
already
talked
to
riley
about
this,
but
I'm
guessing
you.
You
already
talked
to
the
google
folks
and
it
sounds
like
they'll
be
engaged,
I'm
guessing,
there's
many
more
people
who
want
to
be
involved
in
this.
This
is
great.
Thank
you.
B
All
right,
update
from
tigran
maintainers
of
languages,
please
review
and
approve.
If
you
agree
so
far,
we
only
have
the
approval
of
java
and
go
maintainers.
B
B
And
third,
one
is,
from
carlos
reminder,
regularly
regularly
update
the
maintainer
vacation
calendar,
specifically
you're,
taking
long
holidays
that
you
know
about
in
advance,
good
call
and
that's
linked
to
on
the
community
github
page.
I
think
all
the
maintainers
already
have
right
access
to
it.
But
if
you
don't
reach
out
to
anyone
that
does
which
is
most
other
maintainers
and
they
can
add,
you.
B
I
think
it's
worth
tracking,
I
mean
we
call
it
the
maintainers
calendar,
but
it's
it's.
I
mean
it's
maintainers
in
the
loose
sense.
Not
like
your
title
is
maintainer
but,
like
you
are
you
remember,
the
community
makes
contributions
right
so
yeah
if
you're
an
approver
like
definitely
get
access
to
it
any
of
the
maintainers
or
anyone
else
who
has
access
can
add
you
it's
pretty
open
and
then
just
yeah
make
sure
you
put
in
lots
of
time.
I
know
that
I've
been
actually
not
great
about
that.
C
C
Long
holidays,
and
probably
we
will
slow
down
anyway,
but
it
could
be
nice,
especially
if
you
already
know.
I
know
that,
for
example,
in
some
countries
you
have
to
tell
your
manager
because
of
warming
requirements
or
whatever,
like
you
need
to
tell
them
in
advance.
So
you
already
know
yeah,
even
the
better,
so
you
can
forget
about
that
like
for
long
holidays,
one
two
days,
I
think,
that's
okay,
but
long
holidays.
Please
consider
that.
B
All
right,
if
there
are
no
other
topics
like
any
discussion,
specifically
around
like
metrics
sdk
implementation,
like
we
got
an
update
from
java
and
net
today,
things
seem
to
be
going
pretty
well.
Are
there
any
other
maintainers
who
want
to
pipe
in
just
like
things
going?
Well
things
not
going
well
like
anything
that
you
want
to
discuss
with
the
other
maintainers.
B
Okay,
quiet
crowd
today.
In
that
case
we
are
done
so.
Thank
you
very
much
and
see
you
later
this
week.
