Description
Open Telemetry Meeting 1's Personal Meeting Room
A
A
C
Yeah
cool
yeah,
so
please
add
your
name
to
the
attendance
list.
As
usual.
C
B
Okay,
can
you
see
my
screen.
B
Yes,
okay!
Thank
you
great!
Yes,
so
well,
as
you
know,
we
recently
released
our
rc2
and
now
we
got
some
metric
stuff
still
pending.
I
would
like
for
our
next
release
of
metrics
to
be
stable,
that'll
be
great,
so
I
did
what
we
pretty
much
did
for
the
previous
rcs.
I
created
a
project
with
the
metrics
issues
on
the
organization.
B
Metrics
table
tag
and
to
avoid
double
targeting
everything:
that's
okay,
so
we
have
them
here.
It's
a
total
of
14
issues.
Eight
of
them
are
documentation.
B
Issues
like
this
as
an
example
of
how
to
run
communities
to
grafana
and
everything
else.
Six
of
them
are
either
issues
related
to
this
feature
that
we
left
out
of
our
first
rc,
which
is
the
handling
of
views
in.
Oh,
no,
let
me
say
that
again
handling
the
fixing
of
conflicts
by
abuse.
B
So
if
there
is,
for
example,
an
instrument
registration,
conflict
views
can
potentially
fix
that,
and
if
that
happens,
we
should
not
raise
a
warning,
for
example,
or
if
there
are
conflicts,
expect
says
that
we
should
print
a
view
that
could
potentially
solve
that
conflict.
So
most
of
the
the
these
other
issues
are
related
to
that.
B
B
This
other
one,
which
is
it's
kind
of
a
little
bit
of
a
pedantic
specification
issue
that
I
opened,
because
we
can
create
some
metrics
related
instances
directly
by
instantiating
them
and
not.
We
are
using
that
meter
or
stuff.
So
now
this
one
is
the
I'll
say
the
least
critical
of
them,
because
it's
not
something
that
affects
the
our
users
directly.
It's
mostly
as
yes,
as
I
said
before,
a
pedantic.
B
Understanding
of
the
spec,
so
I
would
like
to
propose
here
that
we
work
on
these
issues
so
that
we
can
finally
get
our
stable
release
and
we
are
a
little
bit
short
on
people
during
this.
D
B
I
will
try
to
every
night
check
our
repos
to
see
if
there's
at
least
some
maintenance
work
that
I
can
can
help
with,
but
and
and
also
aaron
will
be
out
of
office
pretty
much
during
the
entire
month
of
july.
But
I
would
like
to
ask
asking
people
if
you
have
time
to
that
you
can
dedicate
to
these
issues
and
if
so,
if
we
could
kind
of
assign
issues
to
the
people
that
can
contribute
on
them.
B
So
let's
start
I'll
open
the
this
conversation
for
anyone
who
wants
to
collaborate,
if
there's
someone
who
has
time
or
wants
to
collaborate
on
that.
C
I
could
probably
take
some
documentation
issues,
but
I
won't
be
able
to
dedicate
any
more
than
I'm
already
in
terms
of
open
telemetry
work.
B
Yeah
great,
in
fact
I
I
was
thinking
about
taking
this
feature
issues
myself.
I
already
assigned
this
one
to
myself
and
the
rest
of
them.
I,
since
they
are
all
related,
I
can.
B
I
can
take
those
issues
which
it's,
the
the
most
of
the
work
that
is
non-documentation
related,
but
on
what's
documentation,
related
yeah
help
is
very
much
appreciated.
D
Because
speaking
of
the
stable
release,
so
what
I
suggest
is
yeah
I
mean
since
you
and
both
are
on
are
out
of
office,
and
then
you
will,
you
won't
be
able
to
commit
right.
So
we
also
need
to
go
look
at
the
spec
and
then
there's
also
this
compliance
matrix
right.
We
have
to
see
you
know
what's
all
in
there
and
then
what
should
be
we
be
supporting
like
right
now.
D
This
table
project
has
like
vast
majority's
documentation
work.
We
probably
also
need
to
look
at
that
spec
compliance
matrix
and
what
what
what's
the
pending,
that
we
haven't
supported
here?
So
we
also
need
to
create
the
issues
for
them
so
yeah.
D
I
think
we
we,
if,
if
we
won't,
be
able
to
meet
those
deadline
by
like
the,
if,
if
we
won't
make
it
like
the
get
it
to
be
completed
within
the
next
release
time,
I
think
we
can
delay,
but
we
just
just
wanted
to
make
sure
that
before
we
go
to
stable
release,
let's
get
it
reviewed
from
the
spec
as
well.
C
We
kind
of
just
like
one
made
sure
all
these
things
in
the
compliant
matrix
was
existed
as
well,
as
we
kind
of
just
did
like
a
pass
through
the
ar
through
our
entire
api
service
and
made
sure
we
respect
compliant
like
manually
so,
and
then
there
were
issues
that
came
up
like
circan
said,
so
I
think
something
similar
would
probably
have
to
be
done.
B
B
But
but
yeah
that's
I'll
update
the
project
with
those
issues
but.
A
Right
now,
I
would
like
to.
B
Know
if
there
are
people
who
can
contribute,
are
you
available
during
this
month
to
work
on
some
of
these
vending
matrix
issues.
D
Yeah,
I
can,
I
think
I
can
pick
them
up.
I
will
review
them
and
then
I
will
assign
myself
some
of
them.
B
Okay,
great
yeah,
okay,
so
let's
do
this.
Please
yeah,
of
course,
assign
the
issues
that
you
will
be
working
on
to
yourselves.
I
will
do
the
same
with
the
issues
that
are
related
to
this
view.
Slash
conflict
resolution
feature
which
are
like
four
of
them
and
I'll
be
working
on
that,
and
I
will
also
go
through
the
spec
compliance
matrix
and
the
api
as
later
mentioned,
to
make
sure
that
we
have
issues
for
everything.
B
Is
there?
Is
there
someone
else
in
this
call
that
can
dedicate
some
time
to
help
us
get
these
metrics
issues
a
lot
further.
B
Oh
great,
thank
you.
Thank
you
appreciate
that
very
much
okay,
so
so
that
people
that
want
to
contribute
what
you
can
do
is
you
can
go
to
the
python.
B
Repo
and
open
go
here
to
projects
python
metrics
table
and
here
are
all
the
the
issues,
so
please
go
ahead,
read
them
all
or
find
the
ones
that
you
can
contribute
to
and
assign
yourselves.
B
So
this
way
we
know
how
how
many
people
we
have
to
work
on
this
once
that
you
start
working
on
an
issue.
Please
drag
it
to
this
column,
mark
in
progress
and
yeah.
That's
pretty
much
it
I'll
be
I'll,
be
taking
a
look
at
the
apr's
that
are
opened
so
that
they
can
get
reviewed
as
fast
as
possible.
B
I'll
try
to
do
that
next
week
during
the
evenings.
If
I
get
a
chance
but
yeah,
please,
let's
do
that,
so
that
we
can
get
this
get
this
done.
It's
it's
actually,
not
that
much
well,
of
course,
hoping
that
we
don't
have
find
many
more
issues
after
reviewing
the
spectrum
bias
matrix
right,
but
pretty
much
most
of
the
work
here.
Is
this
documentation
and
this
view
conflict
feature.
B
So
if
we
get
that
done
I'll
say
that
we
will
be
in
a
good
place
or
should
be
close
to
marty's
a
stable
town.
Thank
you
very
much.
All
who
can
dedicate
some
time,
I
really
appreciate
that.
D
Yeah
there
was
someone
who
wanted
to
volunteer.
I
I
I
don't
know
if
that
like
person
is
still
interested,
but
they
showed
in
the
like.
They
come
to
an
issue,
but
I
haven't
seen
them
picking
up
any
issues.
Let
me
reaping
that
person.
If
they're
still
interested
in
yeah.
That's
it.
B
Oh
yeah
yeah,
if
you
can,
you
know,
reach
out
to
them
fantastic
sure,
okay,
thank
you.
B
All
right
great,
thank
you
very
much.
Yes,
I
appreciate
a
lot.
This
is
a
a
very
important
milestone
too
for
us
to
reach
stability,
so
any
help
that
you
can
give
us
right
now.
It's
it's
fantastic!
Okay.
That
being
said
I'll,
stop
sharing
the
meeting.
Thank
you.
C
C
All
right
so
does
anyone
have
any
other
topics
that
they
want
to
discuss.
C
All
right
doesn't
look
that
like
this
many
pr's
or
issues
either.
