Description
cncf-opentelemetry meeting-2's Personal Meeting Room
A
B
C
So
I'm
not
sure
if
anybody
else
expected
to
join.
B
So
last
week
we
had
Anthony
attend,
so
that's
kind
of
who
I
was
expecting
to
show
up,
but.
C
C
So
I
see
that
by
the
way
nice
to
meet
you
I'm
quite
new
to
the
serverless
initiatives
in
in
hotel,
but
getting
much
into
it
right
now.
I'm
sorry
for
my
voice
as
well,
foreign.
C
So
I've
seen
the
the
PRS.
C
Yep
yeah,
so
I,
don't
think
I'm
already
like
enough,
like
I,
have
good
enough
understanding
on
on
what's
going
on
in
the
layers,
but
on
the
way
for
that.
B
I
guess,
while
we're
waiting
for
Anthony,
did
you
guys
have
any
questions
or
or
things
that
you
particularly
wanted
to
discuss
foreign.
C
Yeah
I
was
just
trying
to
to
get
to
give
some
context,
so
I
I
have
I,
think
distant
understanding
of
of
telemetry
and
the
apis
and
instrumentations
I
wasn't
sure
if
there
is
a
some
kind
of
specifications
of
what
the
Lambda
layer
is
is
supposed
to
do
in
the
different
run
times.
I
guess
it
should
be
probably
about
the
same.
B
Yeah,
so
there
is
a
a
Lambda
specification
for
the
in
the
in
the
specification
repo.
Let
me
see
if
I
can
find
that
and
share
a
link.
Foreign.
B
B
So
do
either
of
you
have
specific.
What
kind
of
experience
do
you
have
with
serverless
or
Lambda
in
particular,.
C
Yes
sure
so,
I'm
the
architect
of
Epsilon,
and
so
we
started
apps
again,
got
it
yeah.
C
So
we
we
have
pretty
much
experience
with
our
own
environment,
which
is
like
we
have
a
few
hundred
of
of
serverless
functions
and
many
customers
that
use
serverless
and
we
offer
them
a
monitoring
solution
and
back
then
we
we
had
our
own
instrumentations
and
yeah,
and
now
it's
great
to
to
have
something
that
will
be
much
more
robust
and
which
many
more
features.
B
Cool
yeah
I've
I've
also
had
the
opportunity
to
use
epsagon
a
little
bit.
Oh
cool,
it's
a
whole
lot,
but
a
little
bit
you
guys
did
a
good
job
with,
like
the
onboarding
experience.
C
Yeah,
so
we
definitely
look
to
how
we
can
you
know,
try
to
enhance
open
Geometry.
Now,
that's
so
the
tracing
is
it's
pretty
mature
to
make
a
good
Lambda
monetary
experience
and
also
in
like
fast
in
general,
cool.
C
Yeah
so
I
hope
that
in
in
a
week
or
to
adjust
was
until
last
week
and
this
week
also
partially
so
I
hope
that
I
will
get
into
it
much
more
and
start
taking
a
more
active
part
in
the
development.
B
Okay,
so
with
Absecon
or
I,
guess
with
both
of
you,
do
you
have
any
particular
language
or
or
run
times
that
that
you
are
more
familiar
with
or
comfortable
with,
like
JavaScript,
node
or.
C
C
So
for
me
it's
definitely
python
a
little
bit.
Javascript
Avenue.
A
I'm
actually
more
into
Java,
but
I
can
also
do
Python
and
I'm
starting
to
get
into
go
cool.
Okay,.
C
Yeah,
we
also
have
other
team
members
that
I
work
on
other
on
other
runtimes,
like
have
more
experience
with.
B
Okay
yeah:
this
is
definitely
a
domain
where
having
a
variety
of
experience
is
very
beneficial.
C
C
So
by
the
way
will
it
be
possible
to
maybe
meet
if
I,
if
I
will
have
more
questions
as
I'm
getting
into
the
the
projects
sure
in
the
next
week
or.
B
So
yeah,
probably
the
easiest
thing
would
be
to
just
ping
the
slack
Channel
and
see
who's
available
to
to
chat.
B
B
But,
rather
than
like
changing
any
implementation
to
match
the
other
ones,
I
think
we're
trying
to
update
the
spec
first
to
to
fix
some
problems
that
we've
seen
there
and
then
once
the
spec
is
updated,
then
go
and
make
all
of
the
languages
consistent
with
the
spec.
A
B
B
B
It
that's
the
other
thing
that
we're
trying
to
work
with
some
of
those
platforms
to
get
a
little
bit
more
detail
on
how
what
metadata
is
available
to
collect,
so
that
we
can
improve
the
spec
and
make
it
less
AWS.
Lambda
specific.
B
So
trying
to
cover
all
those
bases,
the
kind
of
all
at
once.
B
Well,
well,
is
there
anything
else
anyone
wants
to
talk
about.
B
Well,
thanks
for
your
time,.
