From YouTube: 2021-12-14 meeting
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
B
B
There's
always
that
uncertainty,
robert
and
francis
have
some
intern.
They
have
a
conflict
today,
so
they
can't
attend.
B
Yeah
yeah:
where
are
you
exactly
new
jersey?
Well
yeah
christmas,
I'm
not
even
christian,
but
my
wife's
family
celebrates.
So
I'm
like
you,
know,
kind
of
trying
to
do
the
gift
stuff
and
then
it's
like
kind
of
a
it's
like
kind
of
a
chill
period
internally.
So
I've
been
like
hacking
on
some
things.
How
about
you?
What's
up
with
anything
now.
C
I
don't
know
I
have
remained
busy,
but
I
see
a
chill
period
on
the
horizon
at
least
maybe
maybe
starting
next
week,
sometime
and
looking
forward
to
having
a
little
bit
of
time
to,
I
don't
know,
collect
myself
and
catch
up
on
things.
B
Yeah,
this
is
always
my
like
I'll
start
that
I'll
do
that
side,
project.
I've
always
told
myself,
and
then
it's
like
I
just
kind
of
make
a
repo
and
it
never
gets
done,
but
I
have
something
I've
been
trying
to
mess
around
with.
Have
you
ever
seen
like
synthetic
tests,
and
I
think,
like
checkly,
is
a
popular
one.
Datadog
adam
it's
like
browser,
it
says
puppeteer.
B
Basically,
I've
been
trying
to
like
roll
my
own
with
some
chrome
extensions
and
then
like
github
actions
and
stuff,
it's
kind
of
fun,
but
that
was
nice.
It
could.
C
B
I
mean
fun
is
a
real.
I
guess
fun's
like
a
that's
a
sad
state
of
my
life
but
yeah.
So
this
is
my
like
year,
my
du
jour
of
like
my
side,
project
I'll,
make
I'll
spend
a
day
and
a
half
on
and
then
get
distracted.
C
B
There's
like
vague
aspirations
of
that,
and
then
I
never.
Let's
always
like
talk
to
my
director
and
they're
like
yeah
one
day
it'll
be
stuff
like
csms
could
use,
maybe
there's
something
like
that
and
it's
like
well,
let's
maybe
just
get
like
our
art.
Our
actual
sre
is
happy
first
and
then
like
we'll
worry
about,
like
you
know
anyway,
how
is
so
are
you?
Are
you
all
staying
in
idaho
for
the
holidays?
Are
you
going
back
to.
C
Yeah
staying
here
for
the
holidays,
my
my
family
lives
in
florida.
It's
pretty
far
away
yeah.
I
never
lived
in
florida.
B
Yeah,
that's
no
joke.
Yeah
florida
is
a
weird,
I
don't
know.
I
have
opinions
on
florida.
I
don't
want
to
say
anything
if
that's
a
phone
recording
but
yeah.
My
grandparents
lived
down
there
for
years
and
it
was
always
like
this
strange,
but
I
was
like
always
felt
like
I
was
in
another
on
another
planet.
C
B
Yeah
I
mean
I
don't
have
too
much
like
in
terms
of
the
actual
meeting
which
we
all
gather
here.
For
you
know,
there's
some
pr's,
I
reviewed.
I
don't
have
anything
super
pressing
to
go
over,
so
you
know
we
can
wait
and
feel
free
to.
I
can
catch
catch
up
on
the
if
there's
things
or
questions
you
have
from
you
know,
for
me,
I'm
happy
to
help,
but
like
I
can
always
just
catch
up
on
the
spec
stuff,
hey,
so
you
can.
B
C
Yeah
that
sounds
good.
There
are
like
three
bullet
points
on
the
spec,
so
I
mean
yeah,
the
sampling,
the
sampling,
the
probability
sampling,
there's
an
update
on
that
and
the
update
generally
is
that
the
biggest
problem
is
it's
just
like
too
long
and
nobody
can
read
through
it.
So
people
are
asking
for
like
more
of
like
a
summary
or
walkthrough.
B
C
Things
there
but,
and
then
people
are
asking-
I
guess
for
a
bunch
of
other
stuff
there
like
they
want
like
remote
configurability
and
all
these
other
options
and
kind
of
the
tldr
is
like
that
stuff
is
coming,
but
we
need
to
just
have
a
way
to
actually
sample,
probably
propagate
sampling,
probabilities
and
costs
fans.
Basically,
that's
what
it's
limited
to.
B
Makes
sense
yeah.
I
saw
it's
at
the
point
where
it's
like
your
co.
Your
co-worker
is
now
like
on
twitter,
fighting
with
people
being
like
it's
getting
merged
soon,
so
I
feel
bad
for
him.
I
hope
I
hope
things
get
approved
emerged
in
some
form
or
another
yeah.
I
don't
know
I'm
like
I'm
so
far
be.
When
I
looked
at
the
original
spec,
it
seemed
fine
to
me
and
then
there's
been
so
many
like,
but
I
can
understand
how
people
you
know.
C
B
So
yeah
it's
fair,
trying
to
think
there's
anything
pressing.
I
saw
so
dolly.
We
have
a
dolly
instrumentation.
B
The
the
upstream
library
is
doing
some
crazy
refactoring
and
there's
like
a
really
minor
version
that
our
instrumentation
will
break
on
and
it
broke
internally
actually,
but
we
just
got
the
guy
to
upgrade
upstream
to
support.
So
basically
we
were
patching
a
private.
What's
up
ariel,
we
were
patching
in
dolly.
We
rely
on
a
private
method,
which
is
actually
an
oversight.
B
B
I
am
not
really
feeling
like
it's
worth
the
time
to
like
add
a
bunch
of
safety
checks
and
it
was
out
for
like
an
afternoon,
so
I
don't
think
anyone
should
get
hit
by
it.
But
it's
on
my
mind
that
maybe
whatever,
if
we
need
to,
we
could
always
put
in
a
compatibility
check
to
say
like
as
long
it's
not.
This
version.
B
Nothing
what
else
the
aws
stuff
I
approved
it.
I
think
it's
fine
to
emerge
and
then
if
people
want
to
use
crazy
stuff
or
if
I
have
time
or
those
aspect
of
folks
have
time
to
add
the
extraction
or
we
get
some
consensus
like
whatever
in
the
meantime
like,
don't
let
perfectly
enemy
good
and
I
don't
know
there
was
a
couple
small
doc
fixes
and
stuff
looked
like
our
kafka
thing,
had
a
bug
that
arielle
reviewed
and
took
a
look
at
with
encoding,
non-utf-8
characters
or
something
but
pretty
quiet.
I
think
yeah.
B
D
No
just
I'll
be
out
for
the
next
two
weeks,
so
I
won't
be
able
to
I'm
not
gonna,
look
at
pr's
or
anything,
and
I'm
trying
my
best
to
keep
up
with
the
submissions
that
are
coming
through
yeah
and
still
waiting
on
feedback
from
robert
for
the
gym,
dependency
checks
and
but
I
wouldn't
address
anything
until
like
next
year
or
whatever,
which
is
like
two
weeks
away
or
whatever
three
weeks.
D
The
other
thing
was
thanks
for
chiming
in
on
those
other
con
like
the
documentation
contributions,
I've
got
a
good
feeling
about
the
contributor
being
like
wanting
to
drive
things
across
all
of
the
instrumentations.
So
that's
really
great.
I'm
pairing
with
rob
on
wednesday.
So
one
thing
we're
going
to
try
to
do
is
add
like
some
default
metrics
reporters
for
the
sdk
that
you
can
optionally
add,
and
so
that
might
you
know
it
would
be
for
the
datadog
rb,
statsd
client
and
for
the
statsd
instrument
client.
D
So
I've
got
two
implementations
of
those.
I
I'm
basically
going
to
do
a
lift
and
shift
and
rewrite
some
of
the
tests
to
see
if
they,
you
know
see
how
they
work
out.
Hopefully,
that's
a
you
know
a
helpful
contribution
in
that
sense,
and
then
I
don't
know
there
just
seems
to
be
like
a
lot
of
pr's
that
are
just
kind
of
sitting
there
and
not
getting
any
getting
any
traction
or
anything.
I
don't
know
if
we
should
revisit
some
of
those.
B
Yeah
I
mean
thank
you
for
all
the
reviews
and
stuff.
I
like
the
doc's
stuff.
I
think
it
sounds
like
looks
like
this
person
is
a
mandate
to
kind
of
work
on
it.
I've
yeah
I've
picked
my
team
about
the
gem
compatibility
stuff
a
few
times
they're
everyone's
a
little
bit
between.
They
were
heads
down
some
other
stuff,
and
then
this
is
sort
of
like
a
people
are
going
to
kind
of
check
out
from
work
period.
B
To
be
honest,
I
get
it
so
you
probably
realistically
yeah,
probably
early
january
yeah.
I
don't
know
some
of
the
reviews.
I
tried
to
review
some
of
the
pr's
like
there's
a
few
that
are
stuck
in
like
hey
here's,
some
feedback
and
the
people
kind
of
dropped
off.
We
probably
should
maybe
maybe
in
early
january,
we
can
do
like
a
burn
down
and
just
do
like
a
a
rundown,
a
time
box
like
we'll
go
through
them
all
right.
I
don't
know
what
do
you
think
man?
C
Yeah,
I
think
we
should
definitely
prioritize
like
either
merging
things
or
getting
feedback
to
to
the
pr's
about
like
what
changes
we
would
like.
So
yeah.
I
think
I
mean
it
would
be
great
to
do
this
before
the
holiday,
but
I
think
everybody's
already
disappearing
for
the
holidays.
So
I
think
when
we
come
back,
that
that
should
be
a
priority.
So.
C
Yeah,
let's
make
sure
to
remember
this
when
we
come
back,
perhaps
I
should
type
a
note
in
the
in
the
agenda
in
the
agenda
doc,
just
so
that.
B
B
I
think
it
would
be
nice
to
have
a
few
default
metric
recorders,
even
though
it's
like
experimental
yeah
but
it'd
be
nice
to
just
have
in
general,
as
like,
statsd
exporter
prometheus
like
not
necessarily
like
data
dog
statsd,
or
I
don't
even
know
what
it's
called,
but
something
relatively
as
vendor
neutral
is
reasonable.
But
yeah
I
don't
know
it
feels
like
a
easy,
not
easy,
like
a
low.
It's
not
a
ton
of
they
could
live
in
like
a
a
gym
and
they're
just
kind
of
clat
they're
single
classes.
B
It's
not
as
though,
and
the
dependencies
are
pretty
straightforward
and
they're
sort
of
opt-in,
and
I
think
it
yeah
like.
I,
I'm
not
super
happy
with
the
in
between
state
of
our
debugging,
where
it's
like.
My
preference
is
have
very
verbose
logging
and
you
can
flip
a
switch,
and
it's
just
like
your
logs
are
gonna
fill
up
and
that's
the
way
it
goes.
And
then
you
got
to
be
careful
to
turn
your
logs
back
to
a
reasonable
level.
It
seems
like
the
consensus
from
francis
and
robbers
they
prefer.
B
So
if
we're
going
to
support
the
metrics
thing,
then
like,
let's
have
a
it
shouldn't,
be
you
have
to
write
your
own
client
is
my
two
cent
like
you
should
have
some.
We
should
have
some
packaged
ways.
It
shouldn't
be
like
a
bring
your
own
client
thing,
but
I
want
to
do
things
like
probably
a
year
ago
it
was
like
yeah
ship.
B
A
D
Yeah,
and
you
know,
I
think
the
only
thing
that
might
be
weird
about
it
is
like
if
it
evolves
it's
like
making
it
clear
that
this
you
said
experimental,
absolutely
and
that
this
is
only
something
that's
available
in
a
ruby
sdk
like
there's
nothing
similar
anywhere
right.
This
is
like
our
unique
thing
and
historically,
our
stance
has
been
like.
If
it's
not
something
in
the
spec,
we
generally
won't
accept
it.
D
So
it's
kind
of
like
you
know
just
ensuring
that
it
doesn't
there's
a
cause
of.
B
D
It's
like
we
just
ignore
that
so,
but
I
hope
that
I
hope
it
works
out,
but
I'm
not
going
to
drag
on
this
conversation
too
much
just
wanted
too
well.
That's
right!.
D
A
D
B
That's
on
my
plate
for
next
year's,
like
I
think
it's
like
getting
to
the
point
where
it's
it's
just
becoming
difficult
to
review
certain
things
because
of
that
weird
in
between
state
of
like
this
is
impo
like
because
it
lives
in
our
core
thing.
It's
like
do.
I
want
to
like
it
signals
a
little
bit
higher
level
of
support
than
trip
and
yeah.
I
don't
know
I
feel
like
at
this
like
every
we're,
the
only
I
think
we're
the
only
library
that
doesn't
have
a
separate,
contrib
repo,
that's
at
1.0.
B
At
least
what
do
you
yeah?
I'm
not
matt
you're,
the
main
kid
I'm
not
the
maintainer
here.
Do
you
have
opinions
here
and
yeah?
I
don't
want
to
drag
this
out
either.
C
We
we
had
a
repo
set
up
for
contrib
and
we
never
put
anything
in
it
and
then
the
I
don't
know
some
people
further
up
in
the
hotel
community
came
and
removed
it
and
they're
like
if
you're
not
using
it.
You
should
get
rid
of
it
and
we're
like
okay,
so
I
think
we
wanted
to
have
a
contrib
for
for
a
lot
of
the
project.
I
think
we've
just
kind
of
recognized
that,
like
once
you
start
splitting
these
things
like
it
becomes
a
little
more
complicated
from
a
management
perspective.
C
So
I
think
kind
of
waiting
for
the
point
where
it
became
clear
that
we
need
one.
I
guess-
and
I
think
I
think
there
have
definitely
been
some
signs
that
contribute
definitely
be
nice
to
have
creeping
up.
So
I
think
it's
just
a
matter
of
us
deciding
that
we
want
it
and
then
we
can.
C
You
know
you
can
come
up
with
a
plan
of
just
how
to
manage
it.
So.
B
I
I
do
have
a
mandate
to
like
work
on
some
of
the
stuff
like
in
my
job,
and
I
know
francis
and
robert
are
looking
at
like
the
metric
stuff,
so
that's
kind
of
like
the
chunky
work,
so
this
would
be
like
I
don't
know
if
I'm
trying
to
think
of
like
things
that
are
like
nice
chunky
pieces
of
work,
that,
like
I
could
you
do
in
a
product
you
know,
would
be
productive
for
me
to
do
like
this
feels
like
a
you
know,
something
along
those
lines
anyway,
feels
like
it
after
christmas
problem,
though.
B
So
I'll
let
y'all
do
your
things
and
yeah
I'm
around
ariel
rob
if
you
guys
are
stuck
tomorrow,
I'll,
be
like
online.
You
feel
free
to
ping
me
or
whatever.
I
have
a
bunch
of
meetings
and
stuff
I'm
trying
to
get
done
but,
like
I
can
hop
in
for
five
minutes
or
you
know
try
to
if
you're
blocked
or
anything
around.
