A
A
Hi
everyone
I
called
in
this
meeting
expecting
someone
else
is
going
to
lead
it.
I
don't
know
if
we
have
an
agenda
or
a
leader
for
this.
A
A
B
A
Ted's
out
of
office
today
right,
I
just
had
one
reaction.
Oh
please,.
C
Sandra
here
from
aws
x-ray
have
a
action
item
to
supply
a
poc
flash
review
of
the
current
sampling
apis,
we're
currently
still
working
on
that.
I
was
hoping
to
have
a
document
to
review
this
meeting,
but
it'll
get
have
to
get
until
next
week.
A
Okay,
that
sounds
good,
let's
see
so
the
two
topics
seem
to
be
that
there's
a
demand
from
vendors,
especially
to
get
some
sort
of
sampling
weight
or
for
count
on
each
span
and
then
there's
a
separate
question
about
whether
it
ever
gets
propagated
in
I
take
it.
Your
your
review
will
cover
those
topics.
C
Yeah
and
we're
also
going
to
include
a
section
on
dynamic
sampling
as
well,
at
least
for
the
x-ray
side.
I
know
that's
a
common
common
implementation
as
well.
A
A
Great
cool:
well
again,
I
didn't
since
the
since
ted's
out
and
it
sounds
like
we
don't
quite
have
anything
else
on
the
agenda.
I'm
not
sure
we
should
have
this
meeting.
A
Is
anyone
for
or
against
that
motion.
C
Yeah
yeah,
that
seems
fine.
I
saw
a
note
here
that
a
lolita
was
supposed
to
come
she's
actually
on
my
side,
driving
the
aws
observability
effort,
but
I
haven't
heard
from
her
this
morning.
So
apologies
on
that.
A
A
Groups
of
amazon
working
in
open
telemetry
right
now,
I
understand
you
are
part
of
a
lolita's
group.
A
And
okay,
so
there's
another
group
working
on
statsd
that
I'm
aware
of,
I
guess
it's
different
okay!
Well,
I'm
certainly
not
trying
to
leave
this
meeting.
I
I
came
to
show
up
with
my
opinion
that
sample
count
should
be
a
field,
not
a
not
an
attribute,
but
that's
about
all
I
came
to
say
so.
Unless
someone
wants
to
leave
this,
I
propose
we
end
it.
A
Second,
okay!
Let's
do
it
again
when
there's
a
when
there's
a
firmer
agenda
and
or
interested
parties
are
here.
C
Okay,
that
sounds
great,
hopefully
I'll.
