Description
cncf-opentelemetry@cncf.io's Personal Meeting Room
A
B
A
Just
waiting,
I'm
I'm,
not
sure
if
anybody
else
is
joining
so
it's
a
Philip
already
told
it
that
he's
not
here
and
Patrice
is
on
PTO
right
now,
but
maybe
we'll
wait
another
one
or
two
minutes,
and
then
we
can
get
started
agenda
is
still
short.
So,
let's
see
how
much
time
we
need,
but
yeah.
A
A
A
A
A
That's
super
weird
thermometer
started
sharing
the
screen.
It
looks
like
it
kicked
me
out
from
from
my
audio,
that's
weird
anyway,
so
I'm
not
sharing
my
screen
so
I'm
on
the
browser
right
now,
because
my
laptop
denies
me
to
use
zoom
I
I'm,
not
sure
if
this
is
because
we
we
work
for
Cisco
and
they
maybe
don't
like
us
to
use
it
so
just
kidding
anyways
okay.
So
what
I
was
talking
about?
A
We
have
this
one
announcement
block
for
the
end
user
working
groups
by
Rhys.
I
was
just
wondering
if
you
Tad
are
one
of
the
block
approvers
but
I,
don't
think
so
so
I
think
I
have
to
Ping.
So
so
this
blog
approvers
group
anyways,
it's
it's
just
four
people.
There
I
think
it's
Morgan,
a
Lolita,
Austin
and
Sergey
I'm,
not
sure
if
this
should
be
extended
or
if
the
governance
committee
should
should
be
equivalent
to
that.
B
A
I
I
mean
what
what
we
did
in
the
past
is
like
I
I
sent
Austin
a
message
and
he
then
said
like
yeah
I
approve
it
so,
but
but
at
the
end
I
mean
this
is
more
around
I.
Think
having
those
blog
approvers
that
the
GC
is
just
yeah,
yeah,
verifying
that
that
we
don't
send
out
a
message
that
contradicts
this
with
anything
that
that's
probably
in
in
yeah
in
the
sense
of
the
open,
Telemetry
community.
So
yeah.
Let.
B
Great
in
the
in
the
meantime,
I'll
reach
out
to
Lolita
and
Morgan
to
and
Austin
just
to
get
them
to
approve
it.
Yeah.
A
Yeah
that
that
would
be
great
awesome.
I
said
this.
This
is
I
mean
technically
this.
This
is
not
even
let's
say,
a
blog
post
where
I'm
super
worried
about
it,
because
it's
just
really
an
announcement
of
those
end
user
working
groups,
so
it
would
also
be
good
just
in
soon
so
yeah.
A
Let's
not,
let's
not
block
these
things,
yeah
exactly
anyways.
If
anybody
has
a
few
minutes
to
to
review
it
anyways
that
that
would
be
helpful
beyond
that.
There's
two
other
PR's
I
just
quickly
wanted
to
talk
about
because
I
raised
them
and
wanted
to
to
get
some
feedback
on
that
from
from
anyone.
A
The
first
one
is
the.
Maybe
let
me
put
this
here
in
the
chat
right,
quick
sentence.
I
said
I
cannot
share
my
screen
that
well,
the
first
one
is
one
I
I
raised
the
issue
a
while
back
and
and
since
there's
a
lot
of
conversations
being
kicked
off
around
like
hey
what
about
a
seek
for
Pearl,
hey?
What
about
a
sick
for
Lua?
Hey?
What
about
a
sick
for
Julia
and
I?
Think
there
was
a
list
of
languages.
A
So
what
I
wanted
to
add
is
a
page
in
the
instrumentations
that
says
other
languages
and
then
just
calling
out
like
hey,
open
Telemetry
is
not
limited
to
the
I,
don't
know
11
or
12
languages
that
we
have
today
and
there's
already
a
few
entries
in
our
registered
registry.
For
that.
But,
of
course,
the
open
Telemetry
Community
is
also
open
to
maintain
additional
languages
as
official,
and
all
you
need
to
do
is
is
raise
such
a
sick
request
and
and
God's
interest
right
so
that
that's
everything
that
that's
in
this
PR.
A
A
B
A
Totally
yeah,
okay
and
the
other
one.
This
is
more
around
yeah
the
page
about
instrumenting
things
or
is
the
concept
of
instrumentation
I
mean
we
talked
about
this
multiple
times
and
I.
Think
there's
I,
don't
know
how
many
open
issues
and
how
many
repositories,
but
but
I,
still
try
to
to
capture
my
understanding
there,
because
how
the
page
looks
like
right
now,
it's
like
really
more
confusing
than
helpful,
so
I
try
to
to
rephrase
things
a
little
bit
to
sell
like
hey
here's,
what
is
instrumentation,
we
have
automatic
instrumentation.
A
We
have
instrumentation
libraries,
we
have
manual
instrumentation
and
then
I
updated
a
little
bit
on
those
instructions
on
on
how
to
get
the
one
or
the
other
working,
for
example,
with
the
automatic
instrumentation.
It
was
really
hard
to
understand
what
what
is
meant
by
by
dependencies.
That
needs
to
be
added,
because
sometimes
I
think
it
was
just
referring
to
to
instrumentation
libraries,
so
I
try
to
improve
it
a
little
bit
or
rework
it
a
little
bit
and
there.
A
It
also
I
think
it
would
be
really
good
to
to
have
some
additional
feedback
on
that,
but
because
I
said
this
is
also
yeah,
especially
in
those
conceptual
pages.
I
thought
it
would
be
good
to
to
get
some
more
improvements.
There
yeah
said
I
shared
the
PRS
and
the
chat.
If
anybody
has
a
few
minutes
to
review
them,
that
would
be
helpful
beyond
that.
Philip
is
currently
working
on
some
more
metrics
documentations.
A
It
seems
to
be
harder
than
it
should
be,
but
I
think
that
that's
the
nature
of
metrics
and
open
Telemetry,
so
they're,
quite
quite
sophisticated
I,
think
so
Philip
and
I
were
were
the
only
ones
last
week
discussing
that
and
I
think
our
our
consensus
was
that
we
want
to
start
with
simple
documentations
on
metrics
right.
A
So
so
we
don't
have
to
explain
everything
but
more
around,
like
hey
here's
how
you
can
get
started
with
metrics
and
then
maybe
later
down
the
line
we
can
yeah
get
get
into
the
nitty-gritty
details
around
acing
and
fuse
and
whatnot.
So
I
I'm
completely
lost
right
now
with
metrics,
because
I
have
not
had
the
time
to
read
into
it,
but
Philip
is
doing
this
right
now.
A
So
yeah
he's
going
to
raise
a
few
more
issues
there
yeah,
that's
it
from
from
my
side,
any
any
other
topics
we
we
should
discuss
any
I
think
we
had
the
announcements.
Channel
I
think
it's
still
stuck
a
little
bit,
I'm,
not
sure
what
what's
a
good
way
to
to
push
this
forward.
A
A
I
think
we
wanted
to
have
the
the
GitHub
bot
there
right.
So
sorry
for
what
thing
this
hotel
announcement,
slack
Channel.
B
Yeah
yeah
I've
been
trying
to
figure
out
I
think
I
need
to
open
a
help
desk
ticket
with
cncf
okay
around
by
access,
so
I
was
trying
to
sort
out
my
cncf
access
this
morning.
So
I'll
try
to
put
in
a
request
for
that.
Okay,
but
I
assume
it's
just
like
the
basic
GitHub
slack
bot
that
can
do
that.
If
people
have
ideas
about
a
bot,
that
would
be
a
good
one.
Good
candidate.
A
Okay,
okay,
yeah
this.
This
is
sad.
It's
still
pending
yeah
beyond
that
I
said:
I
I,
don't
have
have
any
other
topics
right
now.
A
It's
it's
already
getting
close
to
Christmas
and
there's
so
many
other
things.
You
have
to
do
right
now,
right
so.
B
A
Exactly
so
I
don't
know,
I
think
we
have
scheduled
another
another
sick
meeting
in
two
weeks
from
now
this
I
I
don't
know
if
that
shortly
before
Christmas
there's
there's
any
any
good
reason
to
have
it
I
think
I
will
keep
it
there,
and
maybe
we
can
even
just
use
it
to
I.
Don't
know,
have
some
virtual
pre-Christmas
or
whatever
no
pre
pre-shotdown
that
that's
how
we
call
it
here.
Yeah.
B
Yeah
I
would
recommend
leaving
the
the
meetings
on
the
calendar,
but
just
I
tell
people
not
to
plan
getting
anything
done.
Yeah
in
December
whenever
we're
doing
planning
to
just
presume
December
doesn't
count
yeah.
A
Yeah
totally
agree,
yeah
awesome,
cold
and
then
let's
do
it
that
way.
Next
week,
two
in
two
weeks
from
now
sorry,
if
there's
nothing
left
I
mean
this
was
again
a
short
one.
I
really
hope
we
we
speed
up
again.
So
it's
a
little
bit
funny
that
we
extended
now
the
meeting
time
to
an
hour
and
suddenly
we
again
only
need
20
minutes,
but
but
hopefully
this
will
change
again
and
then
yeah,
probably
next
year,.
