B
All
right,
this
is
Todd
Moore.
Let's
call
today's
openjs
Foundation
board
meeting
public
session
I'm
sorry
for
December,
2nd
2022
to
order
Robin
I'll
turn
it
over
to
you
great.
C
C
Great,
we
have
our
agenda
today,
we're
actually
Luke
I'm
kind
of
wondering
if
you're
on.
B
B
C
Right
looks
right
there
we
are
we're
going
to
hit
through
our
minutes.
From
our
last
meetings,
we
have
our
friends
giving
us
a
CPC
update.
I
will
give
a
standards
working
group
update
Kylie
our
marketing
lead
is
traveling
at
another
conference
today,
so
I'll
give
the
marketing
and
events
update
as
well
as
training
and
certification.
C
Read
this
is
our
lovely
board
of
directors
of
very
active
working
board,
so
appreciate
you
all
being
here.
We
have
a
couple
of
absent
folks.
I
appreciate
everyone
who's
helping
today.
C
A
Would
someone
like
to
make
a
motion
to
approve
the
minutes
of
November
11th
2022
public
meeting
of
the
board
of
directors
with
the
attached
exhibit
one
motion
to
approve
director
Moore
made
a
motion
to
approve?
Would
someone
like
to
Second
it.
A
Seconded,
who
was
that
just
to
foreign.
A
All
in
favor
say
aye
aye,
aye
aye
any
opposed.
A
S
noted
the
motion
carries
and
we
are
going
to
prove
exhibit
One
openjs
Foundation
board
meeting
minutes
public
session
2022
1107.
E
Hi
folks
I'm
assembled
this
very
quick
slide
following
up
our
some
of
the
discussions
that
have
been
happening
on
the
see
on
on
the
CPC
we
have.
There
has
been
a
few
interesting
discussion
on
simplifying
some
of
the
governance
of
the
CPC
itself.
There's
a
lot
of
the
CPC
spends
a
lot
of
time
on
bureaucracy
stuff,
that's
not
necessarily,
and
that
some
of
it
is
necessary,
some
of
it
it's.
E
E
Also,
we
want
also
to
increase
the
involvement
of
at
large
projects
in
the
the
open
garage
foundation,
openjas
Foundation
affairs
there,
as
this
has
been
my
essentially
the
the
update
that
is,
you
know,
considering
that
the
last
board
was
like
a
few
couple
of
weeks
ago.
That
was
not
there's
not
much
so
that
was
that
was
the
update.
I,
don't
know,
Sarah.
Is
there
anything
that
it's
that
you
would
like
to
add
or
cover.
F
No
we're
using
the
end
of
the
year
as
an
opportunity
to
close
up
some
stuff,
so
I
think
nothing,
nothing
new
to
share
the
one.
The
one
thing
to
note
is
that,
though,
our
next
CPC
meeting
we're
going
to
be
taking
15
minutes
to
go
over
edited.
C
Thank
you.
The
working
session
seemed
to
really
be
effective
every
other
week,
people
rolling
up
their
sleeves
working
in
real
time.
So
that's
cool
love
that
all
right
thanks.
F
C
To
give
an
update,
Jerry
Burson
still
is
our
chair
for
the
standards
working
group
still
very
much
a
part
of
our
team.
So
we
love
that,
as
you
know,
jory's
now
the
vice
president
of
Standards
at
the
Linux
Foundation,
but
we
have
a
pretty
active
team
and
so
just
a
quick
update
from
last
time.
Work
continues
on
our
concise
guides
to
web
standards.
There
is
a
draft,
a
Google
doc
if
you're
interested
in
hitting
the
issue
in
the
standards
working
group.
C
For
some
from
some
concise
guides
that
openssf
is
working
on
on
security,
so
we're
doing
that
on
the
standards
front
and
one
of
the
new
ideas
that
came
out
this
week
was
a
kind
of
a
concise
guide
on
standards,
careers,
which
is
still
very
much
an
important
thing
very
active
month
with
our
openjs
reps
to
some
of
the
standards
organizations
like
tc39,
we
had
our
w3c
tag,
sections
that
are
still
open
and
we
have
folks
in
our
community
who
are
running
for
that
as
well
as
The,
Advisory
Board
and
then
just
we
just
want
to
officially
welcome
Leia,
baru
and
Toby,
who
officially
joined
the
working
group.
C
C
Right
and
those
meetings
are
we
pair
them
with
the
CPC
meetings
every
other
week,
so
they're
one
on
top
of
the
other?
If
you
can
make
it.
C
A
marketing
update
as
I
mentioned
Kylie's
gone
today,
but
she's
been
really
really
active
and
busy.
The
whole
team
has
on
Cyber
Monday
with
the
campaign,
so
we
do
a
email
blast
to
our
subscribers.
So
thank
you
very
much
for
that,
as
well
as
the
Linux
foundation.
Training
web
developer
subscribers,
so
that's
probably
close
to
90
000.
we're
pretty
careful
about
when
we
send
those
emails.
But
this
we
seem
to
have
a
lot
of
interest
and
a
lot
of
trust
with
open
rates,
and
things
like
that.
C
So
we'll
measure
that
when
that's
done
a
lot
of
great
social
Outreach
happening
not
only
at
open
JS
but
node.js.
So
really
thank
you
for
the
node.js
TSC
for
supporting
that
important
work.
We've
been
blogging
and
we're
also
doing
a
paid
media
campaign,
not
big
but
similar
to
what
we
did
last
year,
but
we'll
share
more
as
those
results
kind
of
come.
In
again.
We
had
some
great
input
from
Joe
in
Tierney
last
year
on
on
helping
sort
of
shape.
What
that
campaign
might
look?
D
C
So
again,
here's
some
samples
of
some
of
the
work
that's
taking
place,
the
node.
If
you
go
to
the
nodejs.org
website,
you'll
see
that
Banner
that
clicks
on
through
to
this
custom
campaign
site
that
the
LF
created
for
us
on
the
LF
training,
so
a
lot
of
great
work
that
went
into
that
from
creative
development
and
folks
from
our
community
who
are
actually
making
this
all
happen
on
the
web.
So
thank
you
and
next,
okay,
so
November
metrics!
C
This
is
for
openjs
and
if
we'll
see
our
top
tweet
those
Sarah
chips
on
the
call
congrats,
that's
pretty
cool.
Again
we
have
our
big
conference
coming
up.
We'll
talk
a
little
bit
more
later
next
week
in
New
York
on
openjs
and
finance,
as
well
as
the
the
node
project
continues
to
drive
a
lot
of
interest.
C
Social
media
on
node
has
been
rising.
This
is
the
first
time
that
we
working
with
the
project
have
used
graphics
and
some
of
our
tweets
and
things
like
that,
and
we're
really
finding
a
lot
of
new
engagement
new
followers.
Just
in
one
month
gaining
over,
you
know
gaining
2
600
followers
is
pretty
amazing,
I
think
so.
C
Sometimes
when
we
tweet
too
much
our
followers
kind
of
shake
out
a
little
bit
but
something's
working
there,
so
great
job
on
the
team
I
want
to
hit
the
next
LinkedIn
is
something
that
we
haven't
been
quite
active
on.
Kylie
has
sort
of
picked
that
up
a
little
bit
so.
D
C
Finding
more
of
an
audience
there
with
openjs
106,
new
followers
and
you'll,
see
a
little
bit
of
that
Spike.
But
what's
been
really
interesting,
is
if
you
hit
the
next
slide
on
the
node.js
LinkedIn
page
that
had
been
inactive
for
probably
I
would
say
at
least
four
years
or
more,
and
so
we
just
started
re-engaging
on
that
last
month
and
5
000
new
followers
in
one
month
on
LinkedIn,
so
obviously
there's
a
pretty
big
appetite
for
content
and
information
on
that
site.
C
Yeah,
it's
been
a
great
team
effort
with
Kylie
and
the
node
project
and
actually
all
of
our
projects
and
just
trying
to
get
ahead
of
our
news
as
much
as
we
can.
Kylie
actually
has
a
new
process
for
all
of
for
folks,
not
only
with
openjs,
but
the
node
project
as
well.
There's
a
form
we'll
probably
have
to
share
a
GitHub
link
that
we
have
with
that
just
so
she
can
get
things
in
the
pipeline.
Kylie
pre-populates
a
lot
of
our
tweets
and
we
scatter
them
throughout
time
zones.
C
C
And
next
up
closing
out
2022
with
our
big
event.
Next
year
or
next
month
next
week,
gosh
my
brain
New
York,
the
openjs
in
finance,
it's
at
the
open
source
in
finance,
Forum
that
we're
partnering
with
the
fintech
open
source
Foundation
at
the
LF.
We
have
a
lot
of
our
leaders
who
are
speaking
maintainers.
Thank
you,
Sarah
and
Abby
and
Dan
for
participating.
We
have
Capital
One
who's,
one
of
our
new
members
and
Danielle
AWS
Jacob
at
Microsoft,
who
runs
the
electron
team
and
Beth
at
red
hat.
D
C
All
excited
about
that
track
next
week,
I
think
there's
going
to
be
a
lot
of
interest.
Tickets
I
think
are
nearly
sold
out.
If
you
need
one
hit
me
up
and
I
could
probably
try
to
find
one,
but
it's
for
a
year
that's
been
really
tough
with
ticket
sales.
This
is
there's
been
quite
a
bit
of
interest
in
this
event.
C
D
B
C
I
will
be
there,
yeah
Luke
will
be
there,
it's
a
New,
Yorker
I'll,
be
there.
Obviously
so,
and
if
you
look
at
our
membership
in
the
last
year
we
have
welcomed
some
new
members.
We
have
Bloomberg
American
Express
Capital
One,
so
a
lot
of
JavaScript
development
happening
a
lot
of
talent
in
that
industry.
C
Let
me
hit
the
next
slide.
That
is
all
we
have
for
our
public
session.
Again,
we
just
met
just
shortly,
not
too
long
ago
at
the
member
Summit,
we
are
closing
out
the
year.
It's
been
a
great
year,
I
want
to
thank
everyone.
It's
been
over
three
years,
I
think
for
me,
a
little
almost
March
will
be
four
years
for
the
foundation,
so
really
happy
with
where
things
are
going.
Thank
you
board,
and
our
community
is
just
so
hard
working
and
dedicates
a
lot
of
time.
So
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you.
B
And
thank
you
and
thank
you
to
all
the
staff.
This
is
our
last
board
meeting
for
the
year
and
I.
Just
can't.
Thank
you
all
enough.
I
think
we
we
had
a
very
good
year
and
the
foundation
financially
as
well
as
socially
and
other
things
is
really
on
track
and
and
set
for
whatever
comes
at
us
next
year.
I
think
we've
got
a
good
plan
around
events
and
and
how
we're
going
to
handle
that
and
and
I
think
I.
Think.
B
C
Great,
thank
you
yep.
It's
been
interesting
with
between
covid
and
now
we'll
see
what
the
economy
brings
us
next
year.
But
you
know
our
membership
seems
pretty
strong
and
growing
little
by
little.
So
hopefully,
that'll
continue
to
increase
yeah.
