From YouTube: OpenJS Foundation Board Meeting - December 4, 2020
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
A
Great,
thank
you.
Todd
welcome
everybody
up
on
the
screen
right
now
we
have
the
current
openjs
foundation
board
directory
our
agenda.
For
today
we
are
going
to
begin
by
approving
the
meeting
minutes
from
the
past
two
meetings.
We
have
a
certification
update,
some
updates
on
the
cpc
and
then
a
marketing
update.
Does
anybody
have
anything
they'd
like
to
add
to
the
agenda.
A
All
right
sounds
good,
so,
first
off
we
have
the
meeting
minutes
from
october,
2nd
these
were
sent
out
as
exhibit
1..
Would
somebody
like
to
make
a
motion
to
adopt
the
meeting
minutes
from
the
october
2nd
public
board
meeting
motion
to
adopt?
Thank
you,
michael.
Do
we
have
a
second
second?
Second,
I
heard
todd
first,
thank
you
todd
all
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye,.
A
Okay,
the
october
2nd
meeting
minutes
are
approved.
Do
we
have
a
motion
to
adopt
the
october
30th
meeting
minutes.
C
B
C
A
Do
you
have
any
opposed
any
of
stains
okay
minutes
from
october
30th
are
adopted.
Thank
you.
Everybody!
Okay,
moving
on
certification
update,
so
robin
would
you
like
to
take
us
through
this.
D
Sure,
hey
everyone,
so
I
think
the
big,
the
big
news
for
us
this
month
when
we
came
off
the
halloween
sale
and
then
we
jumped
right
into
cyber
monday.
That
goes
through
december,
8th
if
you're
interested.
But
I
think
the
important
thing
is
now
that
we
have
that
full
package.
We
have
our
trainings
complete
both
for
the
app
and
the
services
certification.
D
So
I
think
the
recommendation
to
help
prepare
it's
often
a
great
way
is,
if
you
perhaps
you
can
get
discounts
on
buying
a
bundle
for
a
training
and
a
certification.
You
do
get
a
second
try
on
your
certification
and
you
get
a
year
to
do
it.
So
so
that's
great
and
we're
seeing
a
lot
of
interest,
and
we
also
have
it
in
chinese,
which
is
always
a
good
reminder
every
month
and
then
one
of
our
we
recently
it
was
a
couple
months
ago,
but
good
also
for
a
revisit.
D
We
did
an
ama
with
dave,
clements
and
adrian
estrada
from
near
form
and
node
source,
and
they
give
some
more
details
about
the
exam.
So,
if
you're
interested
it's
good
to
take
a
watch,
any.
E
A
Great
next
up,
we
have
an
update
from
the
cpc,
michael
and
chris.
Would
you
like
to
take
us
through.
F
In
terms
of
you
know,
what's
going
on,
we
mentioned
updates
to
the
proposal
process,
which
has
now
landed
we're
down
to
two
stages.
So
if
people
are
making
a
proposal
for
some
some
more
substantial
change,
it's
a
much
simplified
process,
as
mentioned
last
time,
we're
also
still
in
discussions
about
how
to
define
our
annual
review
process
really
with
the
focus
on
growth
plans,
and
you
know
we're
currently
at
the
point
where
we're
getting
some
input
from
the
projects
that
are
in
the
growth
stage.
F
In
terms
of
you
know
some
of
the
thoughts
we
have
around
about
removing
the
growth
sort
of
the
an
official
growth
pha
growth
phase
in
like
sort
of
the
status
within
the
project
and
just
having
separate
growth
plans
and
factoring
that
that
feedback
into
what
we're
thinking,
there's
some
great
work
going
on
on
the
individual
supporter
program
and
the
cpc
is
looking
forward
to
reviewing
some
graphics
next
week.
F
The
standards
working
group
is
has
been
doing
their
planning
for
2021.
So
it's
a
great
time.
If
you
haven't
interested
in
standards
and
javascript
to
get
involved,
there
seems
to
be
a
lot
of
energy
going
on
there
and
new
new
ideas
and
stuff
like
that.
So
I'd
recommend
you
take
a
look
and
get
involved.
If
that's
something
you're
interested
in
sort
of
a
heads
up
that
one
of
the
board
seats
is
coming
up.
F
I
think
the
last
day
of
february
is
the
handover,
so
there
will
be
the
process
of
getting
candidates
and
holding
a
vote
starting
up
over
the
next
month
and
closing
earlier
in
january,
and
we
are
also
looking
you
know.
If
you
follow
our
meetings
online,
we
are
looking
at
moving
to
a
bi-week
bi-weekly
meeting
cadence
in
the
new
year,
where
we're
also
planning
to
use
the
in-between
meetings
as
working
sessions.
So
there
may
or
may
not
be
a
meeting
every
other
week.
F
A
F
We
have
a
pull
request
to
simplify
the
process
for
making
charter
updates.
F
You
know,
basically,
that's
so
that
if
we
have
things
like
typos
or
small
changes,
we're
going
to
be
able
to
do
that
without
having
to
to
come
to
the
board,
which
makes
total
sense
and
we're
you
know-
that's
been
approved
by
the
board
and
we're
we'll
go
through
the
process
of
landing
that
in
the
community
and
moving
forward.
B
F
D
E
E
So,
but
we
continue
to
really
you
know,
hone
in
on
certification
content,
which
performs
very
well
and
then
focusing
on
project
milestones.
So
you'll
see
that
reflected
in
the
content
that
we
continue
to
publish
any
questions
on
the
blog.
E
Okay,
we
can
go
to
the
next
slide
then,
and
I
know
that
in
previous
months
we've
talked
a
lot
about.
You
know
our
web
performance
and
seo,
and
things
like
that-
and
I
wanted
to
report
back
to
the
board
that
I
have
brought
up
some
of
these
topics
with
our
marketing
committee,
specifically
emily
mitchell
from
ibm,
who
is
just
a
wonderful
wonderful
resource
and
always
continues
to
offer
such
wonderful
guidance.
E
So
I
we
are
looking
into
some
appropriate
metrics
that
we
can
be
tracking
aside
from
some
of
this
top
level
stuff.
One
of
the
things
that
we
did
talk
about
was
a
bounce
rate
and
in
going
through
our
blog
specifically,
what
we're
seeing
is
that
a
lot
of
what
we're
doing
is
is
promoting
other
projects
and
other
milestones.
So
a
lot
of
times
we
are
linking
off
of
our
site,
so
the
bounce
rate
is
expected
to
be
high.
So
that's
that's.
Why
we're
seeing
that
industry
average?
E
A
typical
website,
I
think
we
talked
about
this
last
last
month-
is
between
50
and
65.
So
yes,
we're
a
little
bit
high
on
the
bounce
rate,
but
again
so
much
of
what
we're
doing
is
pointing
to
other
sites.
So
it's
to
be
expected.
E
Another
thing
I
kind
of
wanted
to
talk
through
is
what
our
focus
this
year
for
our
website
and
blog
has
been,
and
it's
really
been
about
being
consistent
with
our
posting
and
trying
to
be
as
trying
to
push
as
quality
of
content
as
we
possibly
can,
and
we've
experimented
a
lot
with
that,
and
I
think
that
we
have
some
really
good
insights
heading
into
2021.
E
Another
thing
I
kind
of
wanted
to
address
as
far
as
what
our,
what
we're
currently
doing,
to
make
sure
that
we
are
findable
and
our
seo
is
is
performing-
is
we're
optimizing
each
and
every
blog,
with
an
embedded
tool
that
we
have
on
our
wordpress
site,
so
that's
sort
of
what
we're
doing
now.
What
we're
considering
doing
for
next
year,
though,
to
kind
of
up
our
game
a
little
bit
in
this
space
is
to
provide
the
projects
with
an
enablement
plan,
and
what
that
basically
is,
would
be.
E
You
know
providing
them
a
good
template
of
what
a
good
blog
post
might
look
like
and
how
to
use
things
like
backlinks
and
some
of
that,
like
seo
jargon
to
to
improve
their
seo,
but
also
to
help
us
at
open.js
foundation.
E
So
those
are
things
that
we
will
implement
in
2021
with
the
help
of
the
marketing
committee.
Are
there
any
questions
around
just
website
and
blog
performance
generally
or
specifically.
E
E
We
are
up
quite
a
bit
and
we
had
a
quieter
month
and
I
went
in
and
I
looked
a
lot
of
our
traffic
this
month
is
coming
from
china,
so
I
will
be
interested
to
know
what
I
know
that
they're
they're
doing
a
lot
of
translating
of
our
stuff
and
so
I'd
be
interested
to
know
if
that
has
a
like
an
impact
on
to
it.
But
I'm
glad
that
you,
you
noticed
that
I
mean
54.
E
This
is
sort
of
like
in
the
same
in
the
previous
time
frame
is,
is
quite
high,
especially
given
the
month
that
we
had
so
it
was
kind
of
a
banner
month
for
for
users
as
well.
We
hit
a
new.
This
is
a
new
milestone
for
the
open,
js
foundation,
yeah
and
it's
all
direct
I'm
seeing
like
you'll,
see
you're
kind
of
seeing
in
this
top
channel
pie
a
lot
of
it's
referral,
but
a
lot
of
it's
direct
too.
So
people
are,
you
know,
coming
right
to
the
open,
js
foundation,
they're
hearing
about.
B
E
E
I
think
that's,
I
think
it's
just
like
other
just
little
things
that
aren't
specified,
but
let
me
I'm
happy
to
in
that
in
sort
of
next
month's
readout
specify
what
that
is.
If
that's
helpful,
it's
probably
just
because
it's
such
a
small
number
and
it's
probably
little
slices
of
things
but
yeah.
D
I
think
the
other
thing
is:
it
feels
like
we're
getting
ahead
of
the
curve
a
little
bit
more
with
the
project
milestones,
we're
not
surprised
or
reporting
late.
We
have
notice
and
time
to
prepare
and
work
with
the
projects
on
their
content.
So
that's
that's
all
good.
Yes,.
E
One
of
the
things
that
I've
tried
to
prioritize
as
much
as
possible
as
resources
and
time
allows
is
actually
sitting
in
on
the
outreach
committee
meetings
and
really
just
kind
of
you
know
really
just
trying
to
understand
what
release
cadences
are
and
things
like
that.
So
that's
been
really
helpful.
E
And
again,
I'm
hoping
with
this
sort
of
enablement
plan,
which
is
not
just
you
know
how
to
optimize
a
blog
for
seo,
but
also,
what's
an
appropriate
timeline.
You
know
to
alert
your
media
relations
team
about
news.
That's
coming
out,
it's
kind
of
like
an
all-encompassing
plan
that
we're
gonna
or
a
playbook
that
we're
gonna
put
together
that
will
hopefully
help
projects
understand.
D
E
Yeah
also
working
with
emily
on
that
again
she's
wonderful.
If
there
are
no
other
questions
on
the
website,
metrics
we
can
head
over
to
social,
so
our
sentiment
continues
to
be
really
good.
I,
in
my
opinion,
anything
over
90
is
awesome,
so
that
continues
to
be
really
great.
These
are
some
of
the
miscategorized
things
they're.
What
you
know
the
ama
for
some
reason
that
got
caught
up
in
the
filter
and
then
I
then
this
other
this
other.
I
think
this
was
a
member,
a
member
tweet.
E
It
was
also
miscategorized.
This
spike
is
the
ama
that
happened
the
week
of
november,
8th
with
dojo
that's
up
on
the
site
now.
So,
if
you
haven't
had
a
chance
to
go,
take
a
look
at
that.
It's
a
cool
conversation.
E
Our
engagement
is
down
and
again
it's
kind
of
interesting,
because
our
website
users
are
up,
but
our
engagement
on
twitter
is
down
which
to
be
is
to
be
expected
on
the
twitter
side.
Again,
we
were
very
quiet
the
week
of
the
election
in
the
u.s,
and
then
we
had
a
lighter
week
in
on
the
week
of
thanksgiving
in
the
us.
C
E
There,
I'm
sure,
with
we
use
google
analytics
okay
and
I'm
sure
that
within
google
analytics
we
can
track
that.
So,
if
that's
of
interest
to
take
a
look,
I'm
happy
to
to
dig
into
that
and
I'm.
C
A
little
a
little
interested
in
it,
but
mostly
for
the
influencing
when
we
decide
to
release
things
right,
you
can
sort
of
pick
the
right
time
of
day
and
I
think
that
might
be
interesting.
There.
E
So
engagement
again
down,
I
think
that
was
to
be
expected,
given
the
the
month
that
it
was.
We
always
we
always
time
our
posts
in
advance
for
the
most
part.
But
you
know,
given
that
it
was
a
lighter
week.
I
was
out
the
week
of
thanksgiving.
There
wasn't
just
as
much
engagement,
so
not
as
many
like
liking
posts
and
things
like
that.
So
this
is
to
be
expected,
and
I
think
in
january
we
might
see
you
know
some
normalization
around
this
just
given
holidays
and
just
ended.
D
E
So
if
there
are
no
questions
on
linkedin,
we
can
hit
youtube
really
quickly,
so
youtube.
We
are
we're
continuing
to
just
post
things
other
than
meetings,
we're
trying
to
get
again
more
of
those
interview,
style,
interview,
style,
videos,
as
well
as
the
ami's
they've,
been
really
great
sources
of
content
for
youtube,
we're
basically
flat
this
month
so
but
but
we're
we're
continuing
to
to
grow.
We're
definitely
continuing
to
build
this
audience.
E
I'm
sorry,
I
think
I
someone
want
to
shame
in.
A
All
right
that
brings
us
to
the
end
of
our
content.
For
today,
does
anybody
have
anything
else,
I'd
like
to
add
before
we
close
up.
B
Seems
like
not
okay.
Well,
thank
you
staff
for
all
the
great
work.
Again
we
have
again,
you
know
a
good
meeting
across
the
board
and
appreciate
all
the
effort.
We
have
one
more
board
meeting
in
december
right
coming.
No,
we
don't
that's
it.
We're
done.
C
C
D
C
D
B
Yeah,
you
too,
and-
and
you
know
again
so
much
thanks
to
all
the
staff
for
and,
of
course,
all
the
board
members
for
their
time
and
effort
that
they
put
in
as
well
too.
Very
much
appreciated,
I
think
by
all
of
us,
with
that.
I
will
call
to
a
close
our
last
board
meeting
for
the
year.
Then
thank
you,
happy
holidays.
Thanks,
happy.
