A
So
hi,
my
name
is
shir
Ghani
I'm,
the
VP
GM
of
the
open
ship
business.
The
biggest
question
in
mind
right
now
is
that
he
realized
he
is
standing
between
us
and
find
beverages
of
our
choice.
Yes,
I
do
multiple
texts,
thank
you,
Joe
and
all
the
others
who
sent
me.
Those
texts
so
give
me
10
minutes
and
if
I'm
boring
the
heck
out
of
you,
you
know
tell
me
I
am
which
these
guys
do
on
a
regular
basis.
I've
been
running
the
business
for
about
five
years.
A
There's
many
folks
within
the
team
who
build
with
the
team
for
even
longer
right,
so
Joe's,
been
around
Mike's,
been
around
for
a
fair
bit.
Chris
Mullins
been
around
a
long
time
from
engineering,
I,
think
Clayton,
Dan,
I'm,
forgetting
right,
but
but
there's
a
whole
bunch
of
folks.
Silicon
who've
been
working
together
on
this
mission
for
a
while.
We've
got
a
whole
bunch
of
others.
Diane.
Thank
you.
Can
we
get
a
round
of
applause
for
Diane.
A
Excellent
and-
and
you
know
we
love
this
community
right-
it
is
so
great
to
see
the
diversity
of
presenters
right
across
industries
right
to
where
the
financial
services
or
healthcare
I
think
we
love
polls
from
France,
Tech
Travel.
Just
you
know,
across
the
board
use
cases
you
know
using
open
container
platform
as
well
as
using
open,
should
dedicated.
You
know
it's
just
fantastic,
to
see
the
growth
of
community
right.
So
this
is
all
your
just
kind
of
click
forward.
A
You
perfect,
so
this
is
all
about
building
community
right
and
we're
channels
to
do
it
the
best
way
we
can
the
ways
that
we're
that's
been
doing.
You
know
for
two
decades
we
really
try
to
bring
together
users
of
a
product
ICSI.
Anyone
who
really
wants
to
think
of
themselves
being
part
of
the
ecosystem
and
ecosystems,
not
just
OpenShift
technology,
or
you
know,
little
containers
or
kubernetes
or
JBoss.
A
It's
certainly
all
of
those
things
right,
but
it's
really
about
solving
problems
right
and
and
everything
that
we're
still
trying
to
do
is
how
can
we
work
with
yourself
solve
problems?
Let
me
flip
forward.
You
know
just
real
quick
here.
We
go
to
this
slide
for
a
minute,
mostly
because
there
was
a
time
right.
We'd
go
in
into
you,
know,
organizational
customers,
and
then
we
say
we
hear
talk
about
path.
You
guys
remember
this.
There
was
platform
in
a
service,
it's
like
well.
What
path?
What's
is
where's
that
line
drawn?
A
You
know
it's
as
your
path
is.
You
know
how
they're
going
to
change
then
came
around
containers.
Then
people
start
talking
about
cash
containers
of
the
service.
Now,
what's
cash,
how
does
it
compare
to
path?
Are
you
in
cash?
Are
you
doing
path?
Is
it
okay
to
talk
to
me
if
you're
doing
care
and
someone
else's
it,
it
doesn't
matter
right.
What
really
matters
is
this
right?
A
Can
you
have
a
platform
that
can
allow
you
to
build
applications
faster,
become
more
agile,
use
your
favorite
buzzword,
right,
I
promised
myself
I
wanted
transformation,
but
I'll
say
it
anyway
right
someone
somewhere
will
give
me.
You
know
the
brownie
point
for
having
said
that,
but
you
know
jalapeno
your
favorite
thing
right,
it's
about
how
do
I,
ready
myself
or
my
organization.
You
know
for
all
the
changes
that
lie
in
front
of
us
now:
you've
heard
from
customers
right,
you've
heard
from
users
of
Technology,
so
you
know
the
markets.
A
Real
I
still
put
the
slide
up
to
represent
in
some
version
of
this,
of
this
deck
to
industry
as
well
as
financial
analyst.
So
you
just
talk
about.
You
know
how
this
adoption
trends
that
we're
seeing
you
know
are
real
and
we
expect
them
to
continue
growing.
I
personally
believe
the
the
containers
market
forecast,
which
is
at
about
2.7
for
2020
right,
is
woefully
under
right.
I
fully
expect
for
that
to
grow
it.
You
know
some
multiple,
that's
in
at
least
five
exits,
not
more,
but
we'll
see
that
I
think
over
time.
A
You
know,
as
customers
as
users
get
much
more
comfortable
with
the
technology.
The
kind
of
pattern
that
we're
seeing
right
so
you've
probably
seen
some
version
of
this
in
in
you
know
various
uses
of
technology
talk
about
them,
we're
seeing
this
globally
right,
so
whether
they're
users,
their
customers.
You
know
using
technology
across
the
world
now
customers
who
want
to
adopt
a
container
based
platform.
A
You
know
trying
to
solve
kubernetes
or
contain
orchestration
problems,
customers
trying
to
build
micro
services
based
apps
or
you
know,
call
them
cloud
native
apps
and
using
a
series
of
technologies
to
help
them
do
that
this
notion
of
hybrid
cloud
right,
so
some
people
have
confused
exactly
where
hybrid
cloud
is
right.
So
it's
this
notion
of
really
removing
boundaries
between
you
know
physical
instance,
your
private
clouds,
your
public
cloud
and
being
able
to
have
been
a
great
portability
across
all
of
them
and
have
any
infrastructure
to
support
that.
A
But,
finally,
the
fourth
pattern
that
we
call
business
innovation
right.
So
this
is
the
famous
you
know,
digital.
You
know,
X,
whatever
right
call
it.
What
you
want
the
notion
of
change
being
you
know
able
to
embrace
next
buzzword,
right,
DevOps
being
able
to
be
sort
of
comfortable
with
you
know,
different
teams
moving
at
different
paces,
but
being
able
to
grow
faster
than
we
have
before
right.
So
the
container
opportunity,
from
the
perspective
of
you,
know
how
you
can
realize
value,
we
believe
lies
across
all
them
and
many
many
customers
have
earned.
A
A
You
may
have
seen
this
right,
and
sometimes
you
know
AB
dev
team-
that
move
really
quickly
your
line
of
business
they're
moving
quickly
and
creating
these
micro
service
based
application
and
they
are
necessary
talking
to
operations,
team
or
maybe
sometimes
info
second-
is
involved
in
the
conversation
or
sometimes
the
executive
team
isn't
to
the
body
right.
The
question
really:
is
you
know?
How
do
you
start
bridging
those
gaps?
Now,
we've
done
a
bunch
of
work
and
not
just
us
ourselves.
So
I
put
also
an
input
in
partnership
with
many
other
organizations
around
the
world.
A
We
just
sort
of
think
about.
You
know
what
different
kinds
of
workloads
that
you
have
in
place
and
how
you
can
help
you
know
migrate
them
or
create
new
ones.
If
you
need
to
each
of
them
right,
you
know,
there's
an
analysis
that
has
to
be
done
with
regard
to
how
much
it
costs.
How
much
time
it
takes
and
how
much
value?
A
So
you
ask
yourself:
hey
I'm,
not
a
unicorn
right
I'm,
no
company
that
can,
you
know,
afford
to
hire
Stanford
PhD.
You
know,
hang
out
in
Silicon,
Valley
give
everyone
free
snacks
and
cappuccinos.
Actually
we
are
giving
them.
We
are
giving
sorry
take
that
one
out.
Take
it
out.
Oh
sorry
of
free,
Jamba
Juice,
you
know
whatever
it
right.
You
know
doing
all
that
stuff
right
and
the
question
is:
how
do
you
get
value
right
and
we
as
an
organization
as
a
team
right
across
the
business
units
across
engineering?
You
know
across
the
partners.
A
We
spend
a
lot
of
time.
You
know
with
customers
to
help
them
make
sure
that
they
can
get
on
a
journey,
regardless
of
you
know
where
they
find
themselves
from
adoption
perspective,
you'll
hear
from
KeyBank,
you
know,
I
think
John
are
quite
tough.
Last
name
to
pronounce.
You
know
it's
going
to
present
you
talking
about
his
journey,
as
are
several
others
right.
Deutsche
bank
is
going
to
talk
about
the
journey
you
know
they've
been
on.
A
You
know
we'll
hear
from
a
query
we'll
hear
from
Barclays,
but
we'll
hear
from
you
know
many
traditional
financial
service
organizations,
but
many
many
others
as
well
right.
You
know
Bill
here
from
Gov
tech,
Singapore
talking
about
the
journeys
they've
been
on
to
adopt
these
modern
technology
platforms,
and
they
certainly
do
not
any
of
these
organizations
counted
unicorns
right,
so
there's
definitely
a
place
for
I.
Think
every
kind
of
organizations
to
adopt
this
platform.
A
You've
heard
this
before
I
want
to
waste
your
time.
This
prize
is
important
right.
Many
of
you,
you
know
who
are
very
focused
on
just
technology.
You
know,
may
not
really
care
a
whole
lot.
We
fought
increasingly
that,
as
the
decisions
need
to
be
made
right,
it
moves
up
the
organization
and
people
need
business
value.
They
need
justification.
We've
done
some
work
and
I
think
we
can
make
available
to
anyone
who
wants
it.
A
If
you
haven't
already
seen
it
and
our
white
summary
of
better
open
ship
working
with
the
good
folks
over
at
IBC
who
interviewed
about
a
dozen
of
our
customers
across
North,
America
Nemea
and
found
some
really
remarkable
results.
So
I
would
highly
encourage
you
to
read
this
review.
It
ask
us
questions
if
you
don't
understand
any
of
it
and
then,
of
course,
share
this
with
an
organization
share
it
up
your
organization
to.
Let
them
understand
that
there's
you
know
huge
value.
A
Obviously,
all
the
discussions
we've
heard
from
other
users,
other
customers
is
key
to
making
sure
you
can
convince
whoever
it
is
that
you
work
with,
as
well
as
all
collaboration.
We
do
in
community
like
Commons,
but
there's
also
data
that
can
help
support
the
decisions.
You
would
do.
What
will
make
in
your
company
I
think
I'm
doing
pretty
well
long
time.
I
speak
quickly
right,
but
I
think
maybe
the
one
last
message
I
want
to
leave
you
with
right
is
a.
We
are
super
excited
right.
A
We've
been
you
know
across
this
team
right
on
this
journey
for
five
six,
seven
years
at
least
right.
You
know
starting
from
alcohol.
You
know
so
the
1.0
days
in
the
through
running
platform,
a
public
cloud
all
the
way
to
kind
of
you
know
where
we
are
today
that
you
know
stands
deployment
across
the
series
of
areas
and
this
summit.
You
know:
we've
got
more
open
ship
users,
more
open
ship
customers
than
we've
ever
had
right.
It's
many
of
you
in
the
room.
It's
hopefully
not
too
many
outside
by
the
drinks,
but
maybe
a
few.
A
Maybe,
if
you,
but
there's
many
more
throughout
the
planet,
right
I
highly,
encourage
you
to
go
to
the
sessions
right
and
here's
the
different
perspective
on
how
the
using
technology
right
here
about
BMW
and
what
they're
doing
you
know
from
a
ConnectedDrive
perspective
using
open
shapes
right,
I
think
what
was
talking
as
well
about
the
work
they've
done
moving
their
web
based
mobile
application
over
to
open
ship,
great
great
thoughts
that
come
from
Disney
and
Pixar
about
how
they're
using
open
ship
there's
release
today
about
the
empty
dam.
Schiphol
people
Airport
yeah.
A
Talking
about
you,
know
how
they've
used
open
ships,
so
the
diversity
of
use
cases
is
tremendous,
so
definitely
engage
with
them.
You
know
understand
how
is
it
using
the
product
and
then
maybe
there's
a
some
value
to
be
had
for
you
from
that,
and
also,
equally
importantly,
is
the
conversations
with
our
partners
right.
So,
regardless
of
whether
interested
in
Sdn
software-defined
networking
solutions
interested
in
storage
of
interested
in
CIPD
monitoring,
you
know
container
repositories.
You
know
you
know
just
name
it
and
there's
probably
a
partner
who
can
talk
to
you
about
that
right.
