Description
Sverre Lenbroch of SOS International presents their OpenShift Case Study as part of OpenShift Commons Gathering Red Hat Summit 2018 What's Next on OpenShift Panel - moderated by Brian Gracely (Red Hat)
A
Hi,
my
name
is
Sue
Ellen.
What
from
a
swiss
international
in
the
Nordics,
we
are
assistance
company,
mainly
wine
label,
in
roadside
and
travel
assistance.
So
if
people
you
know
break
a
leg,
go
skiing.
We
have
the
network
with
doctors,
ambulances
and
whatever
to
get
you
home
safely.
I
think
what
I
would
like
to
talk
about
is
a
little
bit
about
where
we
are
represented,
37
languages,
so
we
speak
most
of
the
languages
in
this
business.
Sort
of
speak,
I
think
what
I
would
like
to
go
to
is.
Actually
we
are
Microsoft's
house.
A
Imagine
having
two
Linux
servers
one
year
ago
and
then
Red
Hat
came
along
sold
us
the
entire
stack.
We
are
running
two
clusters
on
bare
metal.
We
have
fuse.
We
have
the
BPM
platform
we
have
mobile,
we
have
free
scale,
are
browning
and
we
didn't
have
anyone
who
know
anything
about
red
hat.
At
that
point
we
have
a
few
Java
developers,
but
now
we
have
free
ongoing
projects
running.
A
We
have
a
platform
that
is
going
live
first
of
June
video
sessions
with
live
doctors
around
the
world
live
chat.
This
is
the
platform
for
the
end
users
that
we
are
using.
We
have
the
platform
that
our
medical
staff
case
handlers
is
using.
This
is
just
to
give
you
an
idea
of
the
complexity
of
the
platform,
because
I
think
the
most
interesting
part
is
actually
the
timeline,
and
what
you
should
imagine
is
that
before
May
last
year
we
have
two
Linux
servers
and
we
have
I,
think
two
Oracle
databases
and
the
rest
of
Microsoft.
A
We
didn't
even
have
Apple
computers
inside
I,
don't
know
how
many
of
you
could
imagine
that
world,
but
we
of
course,
have
been
doing
2pcs
deep,
undercover
under
the
radar
of
course,
and
then
we
established
a
department
working
with
digital
innovation
in
May
last
year,
so
we
have
exist
this
one
year
and
then
in
August's
we
ordered
this
Red
Hat
stack
with
all
the
components
and
in
September
we
had
a
dedicated
team,
since
none
none
of
us
in
in
Ezra
International
knew
how
to
handle
this
stack.
So
we
always
need
some
help.
A
So
we
teamed
up
with
Red
Hat
from
the
Irish
team,
mainly
mobile
developers,
from
waterfall
and
then
in
the
end
of
November
December.
They
started
installing
this
platform
and
in
February
we
have
the
first
live
demo
on
this
platform
with
a
new
client
which
is
going
live
in
Sweden
and
Finland
and
all
their
expats
customers.
So,
first
of
June
we
go
live
promoting
this
four
million
clients
inducers.
A
So
the
timeline
is
actually
quite
short,
as
you
can
see,
I
remember
some
of
the
developers
actually
saying
that
now
we
have
been
trying
for
two
years
to
kill
this
to
Linux
servers
and
suddenly
we
have
a
Red
Hat
stack
inside
that's
IT
Karma.
Is
that
I?
Don't
know
what
you
call
it,
but
the
topic
to
us
is
actually
that
we
be
running
on
this
platform
now
and
we
are
focusing
on,
you
know,
buy
more
light.
A
He
set
up
trying
to
hire
and
changing
the
knowledge
and
the
culture
mentality
since
we're
not
Microsoft
focused
any
more.
Suddenly
it's
Red,
Hat
I,
think
the
challenge
to
us
is
that
when
we
are
focusing
on
digital
masters,
our
digital
capabilities
and
then
we
have,
of
course,
regulations
especially
in
in
any
you
we
have.
The
GDP
are
coming
in
pretty
fast
25th
of
May
and
we
need
to
be
compliant
on
this
since
we're
working
on
a
new
technology
platform.
A
How
should
we
actually
get
these
to
different
cultures?
Working
together,
I
believe
this
is
probably
the
biggest
challenge
we
have
since
you
could
all
see
it
didn't
take
us
more
than
eight
ten
months
actually
to
install
entire
new
platform.
We
didn't
have
the
competences
to
do
it,
we
just
hired
in
some
externals
and
then
we
were
running
so
that
was
just
for
your
technology.
The
real
trouble
is
actually
to
get
the
organization
working
with
this,
and
we
have
another
focus
about
deep
water
called
digital
masters.
A
This
is
also
a
framework
from
MIT
that
were
working
with
that.
We
have
been
focusing
on
saying
the
insurance
company,
which
is
our
main
customers,
has
a
focus
of
33%,
is
actually
in
the
high
level
as
the
mastering
meaning
they
have
would
not
be
interested
in
working
with
our
services,
since
they
can
do
it
themselves.
A
So
time
is
moving
rapidly
to
us
and
we
need
to
move
across
and
be
the
true
masters
of
this
area,
or
we
would
actually
start
losing
customers,
so
the
by
model
setup
is,
is
actually
very
necessary
to
us
to
master
to
keep
our
customer
and
gain
the
new,
the
GDP.
Our
part,
focusing
on
my
outlook
for
this,
and
it's
probably
what
we're
going
to
discuss
later
is
technologies.
A
We
need
to
master
future
technologies
very
easily
and
actually
create
complexity.
Based
on
this,
we
need
to
bridge
different
technologies
and
make
it
complex
for
our
competitors
to
make
copies
of
whatever
services
we
are
building
I.
Think
that's,
probably
mono.
One
of
the
main
issues
that
I'm
focusing
on
at
the
and
I
have
a
task
at
the
moment.
