Description
London OpenShift Commons Gathering 2019 Wrap-Up Closing Community Thank you Speech Diane Mueller Red Hat
A
So
I
have
a
few
other
thank-yous
that
I
have
to
do,
because
this
is
this,
wasn't
done
in
a
vacuum.
A
lot
of
other
folks
helped
us
out
greatly
Alan
who's
been
doing
the
running
here.
Alan
has
been
on
the
phones
with
me
for
the
past
three
months,
at
least
with
Selina,
Chris,
Milstead
and
I
think
they're
all
gone
off
and
and
and
gone
to
bed,
there's
Chris
in
the
back.
So
thank
you
very
much
for
doing
this.
A
That
there's
a
great
team
in
amia
here
and
in
the
UK
around
RedHat
to
doing
that
and
I
would
be
really
remiss
if
I
didn't
also
thank
Justin
cook.
Some
of
you
have
gotten
a
myriad
of
emails
from
Cessna
'kz,
which
has
been
he's
been
the
co-chair
on
this
event
for
two
times
and
really
has
helped
us
make
this
real
and
successful.
So
thank
you
from
the
bottom
of
my
heart.
He
also
had
two
twin
girls
during
this
period
of
time.
A
More
of
so
look
for
that
coming
and
along
with
everyone
who
was
in
the
workshop,
will
be
sending
out
resource
notes
and
things
like
of
that
nature.
So
I
just
wanted
to
just
give
a
little
quick
talk
about
what's
coming
up.
Today's
event
was
here
in
London.
The
next
event
will
be
in
Santa
Clara
on
March
11th
there'll
be
one
in
at
the
Santa
Clara
Convention
Center,
that's
segwayed
in
between
scale.
A
So
if
you're
going
to
scale
plan
on
staying
over
and
spending
the
weekend
and
coming
on
a
Monday
and
doing
some
more
of
this,
we
definitely
always
have
one
the
day
before
red
hat
summit.
So
if
you're
coming
to
Boston
I
highly
encourage
you
to
come
to
red
hat
summit,
we
always
do
them
before
Barcelona.
A
If
you
can
get
there
to
Boston,
which
is
my
hometown
and
the
Patriots
are
playing
tomorrow
on
Saturday
night.
So
I'm,
sorry,
if
you're,
not
a
Brady
fan,
but
it's
going
to
be
amazing.
I've
gotten
the
the
honor
of
being
on
the
track
session
review.
There
are
like
over
three
thousand
submissions
tons
of
customer
talks,
we're
hosting
a
gathering
there
we're
going
to
try
and
get
as
many
of
the
customer
stories
in
on
the
gathering,
but
there'll
be
many
more
over
the
days
of
the
summit.
A
So
please,
if
you
can
get
yourself
to
Boston
and
do
so.
If
you
have
a
story,
if
you
want
to
be
on
stage,
I
would
love
to
give
you
the
podium.
If
you
can
get
permission,
there's
always
you
know
some,
especially
if
you're
in
the
financial
sector,
some
legal
reviews
and
things
like
that.
But
please
let
me
know,
because
I
am
very
happy
to
give
you
the
podium
to
share
your
stories
and
that's
you
know,
that's
the
real
whole
thing
about
being
part
of
this
universe.
That
is
open
shifts.
A
Some
of
you
are
using
OpenShift
origin.
Some
of
you
are
Undead
ik
ated.
Some
of
you
are
OCP
folks.
Some
of
you
can
be
there
bare-metal
OpenShift
folks,
we've
got
some
great
great
stories.
Rbc
is
coming
to
a
Royal
Bank
of
Canada,
which
is
doing
some
amazing
things
with
GPU
and
Nvidia
stuff
and
they're
going
to
talk
about
that
at
Boston
and
I'm
totally
psyched.
A
It's
really
all
about
getting
you
to
talk
to
each
other.
Talk
to
the
upstream
leads
talk
to
the
product
managers.
Give
each
other
feedback
share
your
stories,
the
more
you
do,
the
better
it
gets
and
I
again
I
highly,
encourage
you
to
join
actually
got
an
email
today,
an
IBM
officially
join
the
Commons
this
week.
So
yeah
talk
about
legal,
so
and,
and
while
we've
been
here,
three
of
you
have
filled
out
the
form
and
signed
up
too
so
I
really
think
that's
that's
the
way
to
go.
A
I
would
be
again
remiss
if
I
didn't
give
a
big
shout
out
to
all
of
the
sponsor.
Thank
you
very
very
much
for
your
help
and
your
support,
and
you
know
even
your
Lightning
talks.
You
know
usually
they're
like
hardcore
vendor
pitches
buy
my
stuff,
but
I
think
I
learned
a
lot
from
each
of
them
today,
and
that
was
very,
very
nice
to
see
that
and
your
support
of
the
community
is
totally
there
and
I.
Think
I
have
the
wrong
slide
up
here
right
now,
that
is
from
the
last
one.
A
A
You'll
get
one
I've
coerced
the
port
works
people
into
handing
them
out,
so
you'll
see
them,
probably
upstairs,
as
you
go
to
the
reception
area,
it's
a
beautiful
reception
area
with
an
amazing
view
of
the
river,
and
since
it's
not
snowing,
it's
going
to
be
nice
to
go
out
on
the
deck
and
see
that
view
and
as
a
tourist
I'm
looking
forward
to
it
again,
Atos
and
Microsoft.
Thank
you
for
your
your
support
and
for
sponsoring
your
drinks
this
evening
and,
let's
see
that's
really
all
I
have
to
say
so.
A
Thank
you
very
much
for
your
attention
and
staying
through
the
whole
day
and
I'm
looking
forward
to
a
whole
slew
of
new
operators
from
everyone
who
took
the
training.
So
definitely,
if
you
have
community
operators,
talk
to
us
during
the
drinking
will
definitely
like
to
hear
about
them
and
help
you
get
them
into
the
community
operator
hub.
So
thank
you
guys.
