A
Good
morning,
good
afternoon,
good
evening,
wherever
you
are,
this
is
team
meeting
number
30.
welcome.
Well,
it
seems
we're
going
to
have
a
short
tv
today.
There's
some
of
the
just
kind.
The
the
subject
that
we'll
be
discussing
is
the
fascinatio
introduction,
the
urging
certificates,
marketing
admissions
updates,
and
I
have
some
short
notes
to
on
faculty
questions
that
have
come
in
which
I
also
would
like
to
address,
but
first
over
to
rob.
B
Well,
thank
thank
you
all
for
coming.
Thank
you.
All
for
coming
to
the
team
meeting
is
dan's
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
the
faculty,
bio
page
information
and
what
we
need
faculty
to
do
over
the
next
month
as
we're
continuing
to
build
out
courses
and
and
such
so
dan.
Take
it
away.
C
C
Each
professor
has
a
page
on
our
marketplace
that
tells
you
all
about
whatever
they
want
to
share
whatever
credentials,
experience,
books,
interests,
links
to
academia.edu,
twitter
linkedin,
whatever
that
that
professor
chooses
to
do
so.
What
I
did
is
sent
out
an
email
with
some
picture
and
text
instructions.
It's
very
simple:
you
simply
go
to
enroll.plairno.com,
which
is
the
link
to
both
login
to
the
marketplace
as
well
as
canvas,
but
it's
the
same
portal.
C
You
use
your
clarino
email
address
to
log
in
and
go
directly
to
the
settings
page,
and
this
was
just
an
example
of
this
image
here.
It's
just
an
example
of
an
empty
one.
So
here's
how
nice
it
can
look
with
a
professor
who's
uploaded
her
picture
talked
a
little
bit
about
herself
put
some
links.
Her
courses
will
show
up
here
here's
an
image
of
a
professor
who
has
a
course,
but
has
nothing
about
them,
and
you
can
imagine
as
a
student,
this
isn't
a
terribly
enticing
introduction.
C
So
right
login
go
directly
to
the
settings
button
at
the
top,
which
will
bring
you
to
a
page.
Here's.
My
version
of
this
page,
very
simple:
you
can
call
yourself
whatever
you
want.
Professor
instructor
lecturer
put
your
name
in
your
email.
This
won't
be
shown
on
the
website.
It'll
just
be.
We
can't
see
it
on
this
screen,
but
it'll
be
on
the
page.
Where
your
course
is
listed.
You
can
contact
the
instructor.
C
It'll
come
up
with
this
email
interface
box,
but
it
doesn't
ever
give
out
your
email
address.
Only
you
can
do
that
so
again.
You'll
fill
all
that
information
out.
There's
additional
security
features.
If
you
want
to
enable
two
factor
authentication
or
to
be
hidden
from
from
the
search
you
can
update,
looks
like
seven
links.
I
did
my
linkedin
academia.edu.
C
I
could
put
our
twitter
our
website,
facebook.
Anything
you
want
that.
You
think
some,
even
some
of
our
professors
even
have
their
own
personal
web
page
with
you
know
supporting
documents,
access
to
pdfs,
videos
and
other
features.
Then
you
simply
click
update
user
that'll
bring
your
profile
into
a
complete
setting
and
it
will
essentially
save
it.
And
now,
when
students
go
to
your
course,
they'll
see
the
description.
Whatever
you
add
your
syllabus,
your
price,
your
start
date,
any
skills
you
wanted
to
add.
C
You
know,
professor
pam's
here
shows
you
that
you
know
here's
my
here's
my
light
syllabus,
but
when
you
sign
up
you'll,
get
the
full
syllabus
and
that
links
to
her
faculty
profile
and
just
gives
students
a
really
you
know
far
more
robust
idea
of
what
they're
paying
for
and
what
what
they
can
expect
from
the
course
for
which
they're
signing
up.
So
that's
the
rundown
we
do
I
mean
you
know
this
is
a
pretty
important
piece.
C
I
can't
imagine
signing
up
for
a
service
like
from
a
lawyer
or
a
doctor
and
not
knowing
what
that
person's
background
and
exposure
and
skills
are-
and
this
is
this
is
just
as
important
in
a
lot
of
ways.
So
please
do
jump
in
it
doesn't
take
very
long
as
you
can
see.
This
is
you
know,
probably
200
words
about
yourself
and
you
can
change
it
at
any
time.
C
B
Yeah,
you
guys
are
so
the
faculty
you
have
such
a
wealth
of
experience,
a
vast
background
that
to
not
showcase
that
on
the
marketplace.
That
profile
that's
connected
to
your
course
listing
doesn't
make
a
lot
of
sense.
B
They're
they're
too
used
to
dealing
with
some
nameless
faces
in
terms
of
traditional
higher
education.
We
want
to
give
the
students
as
much
information
as
possible
dan.
That
was
excellent,
an
excellent
overview.
Do
you
want
to
add
anything
daniel
about
the
two-factor
authentication
or
anything
like
that.
A
Well,
I
think,
we've
I've
I've
had
plenty
of
told
plenty
about
the
two
fraction
authentication
if
you're
interested
in
seeing
more
when
when
this
goes
live.
I'm
gonna
have
a
video
on
this
side.
A
Here,
you'll
be
able
to
link
here
to
hear
me
at
extol
the
virtues
of
two
financial
authentication
as
well
so
yeah,
but
I
advise
everybody
especially
so
now
that
your
instructor
page
is
also
linked
to
your
your
course
page
lasted
to
enable
two-factor
authentication
to
ensure
that
your
data
says
you
and
you're
the
only
one
who
is
able
to
modify
a
fight.
So
that's
all
I
have
to
say
about
that.
B
Yeah,
so
the
second
piece
is
talking
about
certificates,
so
we've
got
two
things
that
really
need
to
happen
in
the
next
a
couple
of
months.
One
is
like,
I
said
last
at
the
last
open
meeting,
we've
gotten
in
some
proposals
for
certificates.
Some
are
in
various
levels
of
completion
that
we're
going
to
be
doing
a
big
announcement
of
that
sometime
in
the
next
sometime
in
october,
about
the
ones
that
we
think
are
ready
to
go
forward.
B
Certificates
are
great
ways
to
bundle
classes
together
and
to
link
up
with
other
faculty
members
so
that
you
can
market
your
individual
courses
and
certificates
are
a
really
important
stepping
stone
for
us
to
finish
developing
as
we
move
to
applying
for
degree
granting
authority
and
in
the
state
of
vermont,
and
that's
going
to
be
a
big
push
for
us.
So
we
want
to
urge
people
a
make
sure
that
your
courses
are
completed
and
start
thinking
about
bundling
up
those
courses
into
certificates.
C
C
Essentially,
colleagues,
not
you
know.
Some
people
have
multiple
courses
but
150
options
to
build
your
certificate
and
only
takes
three
classes.
It
can.
You
know
it
can
be
five
or
seven
if
you
want
to
have
a
more
thorough
or
you
require
that
number
of
courses
and
all
that
content
to
make
a
certificate
but
use
the
resources
that
are
already
available
you,
of
course
you
can
go
and
recruit
more
faculty.
C
That
is
absolutely
encouraged
and
just
as
acceptable,
but
also
know
that,
if
that's
something
that's
not
you
know
you
don't
have
the
time
or
the
energy
or
the
right
contacts
in
your
networks.
You
can
utilize
what
we
have
already
built
to
search
through
the
courses
under
development
contact,
the
instructor
you
can
get
in
touch
with
us.
C
So
there
are
some
quick
low-hanging
fruits
to
kind
of
get
a
jump
start
on
the
on
the
certificate
building.
B
Yeah
exactly
yeah,
no,
I
just
someone
my
wife
leah
came
in
and
was
wondering
whether
I
was
here
or
not,
but
I
am
so.
Let's
talk
next
about
the
admissions
marketing
update.
We've
been
talking
about
the
whole
recruitment
piece
in
terms
of
hiring
emissions
and
marketing
and
community
people
we're
still
in
the
process.
We've
gotten
it's
a
really
interesting
thing
to
find.
B
You
know
to
try
to
find
people
to
do
this
job
because
we're
not
looking
for
the
traditional
higher
ed
admissions
marketing
type,
we're
also
you
know
an
educational
startup
with
what's
called
an
mvp,
a
minimal,
viable
product
in
terms
of
we've,
created
the
technological
infrastructure
and
and
the
legal
and
the
operational
infrastructure
to
do
this.
But
now
we
have
to
get
the
word
out
and
to
find
that
is
a
tricky
thing.
B
So
you
know
I'm
hoping
soon
that
we'll
have
the
right
person
but
we're
being
patient
about
the
recruitment
and
about
finding
that
individual,
because
it's
got
to
be
a
really
really
good
match
and
then
we
may
bring
one
we
may
bring
two.
We
may
bring
it.
You
know
a
few
more
on
board
to
do
that
and
we
really
want
to
make
sure
we
get
this
decision
right
because
so
far
we
made
excellent
choices
without
creating
our
team,
and
you
can't
rush
that.
B
So
you
know
once
we
have
an
announcement
and
we're
we'll
be
able
to
once
we
have
the
announcement,
you
know
we'll
we'll
give
it
out
and
of
course
we
know
that
that
admissions
is
very
much
dependent
upon
this,
but
remember
that
without
content,
without
faculty
producing
courses
and
without
completing
those
courses
and
them
being
approved
and
being
updated,
we
can't
attract
the
students.
B
Our
catalog
has
to
be
fairly
large,
but
we
also
have
to
figure
out
different
ways
to
do
the
micro
marketing
et
cetera
and
we're
being
really
deliberate
about
how
we
find
the
person
and
how
we
move
forward.
So
I
think
that's
you
know.
That's
all.
I
really
wanna
talk
about
in
terms
of
that
subject,
but
you
know,
if
you
have
specific
questions,
you
can
check
out
angel
list.
We've
listed
the
jobs
that
we're
looking
for
on
our
angel
list
profile,
and
you
know,
we've
had
a
lot
of
interest.
B
We've
gotten
so
yeah
check
out
our
angel
list
profile,
we're
we're
getting
closer
and
closer
and
closer,
but
we're
going
to
be
patient.
We're
going
to
find
the
exact
right
person
to
do
this
job
or
to
do
these
jobs
not
just
take.
Whoever
is
interested
so
well.
Let's
you
want
a
guy
daniel.
Do
you
want
to
deal
with
the
questions
that
have
come
up
from
faculty.
A
Yeah
well,
there
were
actually
two
main
questions
that
I
would
have
we've
got
this
week.
There
might
be
something
else
that
dance
has
done.
The
first
one
was
somebody
passed
on
in
structure
about
they.
They
had
access
to
a
structure
and
they
could
do
everything,
but
they
did
seem
to
be
able
to
create
courses
so
very
important
to
remember,
of
course,
if
you
want
to
create
a
course
on
canvas
or
kind
of
by
structure,
you
need
to
fast
send
as
a
proposal.
A
A
very
simple
proposal
just
needs
to
have
a
one
course
title,
a
paragraph
or
description
of
what
your
course
content
is
and
your
teaching
style
or
your
philosophy
and
a
bulleted
list
of
say
five
to
ten
skills.
The
student
will
leave
as
the
students,
leaving,
of
course,
will
have
learned
very
simple,
as
these
will
also
be
based
on
this,
we'll
be
able
to
be
able
to
review
and
see.
A
What's,
let's
see
what
see
how
we
can
fit,
that
course
into
the
youtube
campus
and
and
open
it
up,
so
you
can
actually
start
creating
there.
B
I
want
to
interrupt
for
a
second,
it's
extremely
important.
If
you,
you
should
be
doing
the
sign
ups
through
us
because
of
the
fact
that
we
have
a
faculty
contract
with
you
that
we've
signed
over
your
ip
sorry,
we've
signed
over
our
our
ownership
of
your
ip,
your
classroom
materials.
We've
signed
them
over
to
you
when
you
sign
that
faculty
contract.
B
If
you
create
a
course
on
canvas
or
instructure,
and
you
use,
let's
say
an
email
from
your
university
okay,
you
might
not,
then,
once
you
put
that
stuff
up
even
on
canvas
and
instructure
without
going
through
our
system,
you
might
actually
then
have
given
that
to
your
your
employer,
your
university,
so
you
need
to
be
really
really
careful
that
you
follow.
B
Our
systems
are
designed
to
protect
you
to
make
sure
that
that
it
gets
you
in
a
relationship
where
you
own
what
you've
produced
in
your
class,
because
all
kinds
of
institutions
have
various
agreements
and
signatures
that
they
sign,
and
if
you
use
an
email,
that's
not
in
a
plain
email.
You
know
it
becomes.
You
got
to
be
really
careful,
so
make
sure
you
follow
our
system
so
that
you
know
the
the
relationship
that
we've
outlined
in
the
faculty
contract.
B
That's
you're
bound
by
that
and
that
protects
you
so
that
you
own
your
material
and-
and
you
can
take
it
anywhere
you
like,
but
it
sets
it
up
with
us
first.
A
As
for
the
other
portion
well,
the
question
was
regarding
gigatree,
which
we
have
posted
on
the
an
announcement
from
blake
saying
that
was
a
new
book
or
a
new
publisher.
They
had
to
deal
with,
and
a
number
of
you
asked
how
you
would
be
able
to
include
ginkgo
tree
into
your
courses,
and
I
I
neglected,
of
course,
to
think
about
having
actually
set
put
it
giving
a
link,
so
you
could
sign
up
for
your
sign
up
for
babyfree.
A
So
I'm
adding
that
in
the
comments
below
here.
So
if
you
go
to
bitlythebit.ly,
slash
applearno
dash
you'll
be
able
to
sign
a
sign
up
under
our
institution
and
add
it
into
your
courses.
I've
also
questions
on
this
structure
in
the
comments
everywhere,
where
I've
mentioned
people
too,
and
then
once
that,
once
I've
done
you'll
be
able
to
add
a
gingka
free
enter
so
that
any
of
the
publishers
or
any
of
the
items
that
they
provide
into
your
course
in
the
same
way
as
you
use,
as
you
add,
an
external
application.
A
So
if
there's
any
questions
about
adding
external
applications,
I'll
be
very
happy
to
do
a
video
on
that.
Please
post
in
the
comments:
if
you
have
a
question
about
that,
then
we
can
do
a
video
about
that
by
sooner,
if
you're
interested.
So
I
think
that
was
it.
C
Oh,
that
was
the
ginkgo
tree,
was
a
conversation.
I've
been
having
with
one
of
our
profs
okay
or
that
a
little
more.
B
Well,
I
think
you
know
listen
if
you
have
questions,
please
post
them
to
questions
at
aplernow.com,
where
you
can
email
us
and
feel
free
to
next
week.
We
will
definitely
be
starting
promptly
at
nine
and
feel
free
to
join
in
on
the
conversation
by
tweeting
to
us,
etc.
A
And
I'd
like
to
just
remind
you
that
here
you
this
is
our
our
website,
where
you
can
see
all
the
cool
courses
that
we
have
and
subscribe
to
our
youtube
channel.
Then
you
get
updated
as
of
as
soon
as
we
post
a
new
video
about
any
subject
at
all
and
assume
we're
going
to
be
having
some
very
interesting
videos
and
setting
them
up.
You'll
get
all
the
information
as
soon
as
soon
as
everything
is
confirmed
and
we'll
be
very
happy
to
see
you
next
week
again
so
see
you.
