Presentations:
Councilman Kenyatta Johnson led a presentation welcoming the National Football League (NFL) Draft to the City of Philadelphia and commemorating the first ever NFL Draft, which took place in the City on February 8, 1936.
Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell (3rd District) led presentation acknowledging and commending the University of Pennsylvania, LF Driscoll, the School District of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Building Trades Council for their establishment of the PennAssist Program-Bridging the Gap from High School to Building Trades, an unprecedented effort to promote and support City youth in their pursuit of careers in the building trades.
Councilwoman María Quiñones-Sánchez led presentation honoring and recognizing the career of Judith Bernstein-Baker in service to Philadelphia's vibrant community of immigrants and refugees.
