Wow,
what
a
great
day
to
be
a
scout
on
behalf
of
the
over
16,000
500
Scouts,
served
by
the
cradle
of
Liberty
Council
in
over
four
thousand
right
here
in
the
city
of
Philadelphia.
We
thank
the
City
Council
for
this
wonderful
recognition
and
for
the
validation
of
the
impact,
the
profound
impact
that
scouting
programs
have
on
the
lives
of
young
people.
As
you
recognize
us
today
and
for
our
achievements,
we
all
stand
and
salute
you
as
leaders
of
this
great
city.
B
We
know
that
you
work
tirelessly
to
improve
the
lives
of
every
Philadelphia,
and
today
we
recommit
ourselves
to
our
steadfast
support
of
that
effort.
We
as
a
cradle
Liberty,
Council,
Boy
Scouts
of
America
pledge
to
be
a
continued
partner
in
your
efforts.
We
know
that
in
your
various
districts
you
have
hundreds
of
wonderfully
dedicated
adults
who
are
looking
and
searching
for
ways
to
help
to
be
a
positive
influence
in
the
lives
of
the
young
people
in
their
neighborhoods.
B
As
City
Council
members,
you
now
have
the
opportunity
to
serve
as
a
conduit
to
bring
together
those
passionate
adults
and
the
hundred
nine
year
program
and
history
of
the
Boy
Scouts
of
America,
to
be
just
that
today
it
is
a
great
day
to
be
a
scout
and,
as
we
work
together
to
reach
more
young
people
in
the
city
of
Philadelphia
tomorrow
will
be
even
better.
Thank
you
very
much
for
this
recognition.
