Councilmembers take their oath during the Inauguration Ceremony held January 6, 2019 at the Met Philadelphia.

The investiture of members of council will now proceed. The members elect will rise to take the oath of office which will be administered by the Honorable Kevin Doherty Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Do solemnly swear or affirm that I will support a bay and defend the Constitution of the United States.

The Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia home charter will and then I will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity.
