Description
Updates from Regen Registry, including upcoming calls for public comment on the CarbonPlus Grasslands and ERA Brazil projects. They also presented a new guide template for a Project Story. Regen Foundation presented the newest csDAO, Smart Agro and dove into the challenges of Regen Network community governance. They concluded with an update on allyship in indigenous governance in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
A
Alrighty,
it
is
five
after
so
let's
go
ahead
and
jump
in
and
get
started.
Welcome
everybody
to
the
May
23rd
Community
call
with
registry
science
and
Foundation
all
right.
So
upcoming
events,
our
upcoming
event,
calendar,
has
changed
a
little.
This
week,
we've
added
the
environmental
stewardship
community
meeting,
which
is
on
the
fourth
Tuesday
of
every
month.
A
So
this
next
month
is
going
to
be
on
June
20th
at
9
00
a.m.
The
registry
link
is
not
there,
but
it's
on
the
Hi-Lo
and
you
can
also
find
it
on
our
community
calendar
and
then
yeah
normal
event
schedule.
So
next
week
is
originality,
NewsHour
and
then
alternating
Community
College
on
Friday
news
hour
in
the
month
of
June.
This
is
our
first
five-week
month
on
this
new
schedule,
so
there
will
be
no
events
on
the
last
week
of
June.
A
The
early
no
regenerative
NewsHour
Community
calls
will
resume
the
first
week
of
July
with
Regina
writing
NewsHour.
Thank
you.
Alrighty.
Today's
agenda
looks
like
it's
going
to
be
a
good
one,
so
we've
got
well
actually
Becca.
Do
you
want
to
jump
in
on
the
announcements
or
does
that?
Is
that
the
first
slide?
Sorry
I
should
look
yep.
It
is
okay,
all
right,
so
we've
got
an
announcement
about
era.
A
Registry
is
going
to
be
talking
about
giving
us
write
down
on
high
low
environmental
stewardships
shareback,
some
updates
on
the
era.
Brazil
necrometric
and
then
carbon
plus
grasslands,
expert
review
and
upcoming
public
comment
looks
like
we're:
gonna
be
showing
you
a
new
guide
template
and
then
we
have
a
live
poll
which
is
going
to
be
very
exciting
for
the
foundation
portion.
We're
going
to
be
discussing
some
governance
challenges,
the
second
CS
dial
cohort
and
then
the
governance
platforms
of
high
low
and
the
group
module
all
right.
B
A
C
We
jump
in
Could,
you
actually
go
back
aside,
Terry.
Yes,
of
course
thank
you.
It
was
my
bad
because
it's
part
announcement
and
then
part
more
sharing
about
era,
so
announcement
era.
Public
comment
is
those
dates
and
then
teak
is
going
to
share
more
about
it,
but
I
thought
we'd
start
with
a
Hilo
rundown,
as
kind
of
a
screen
share,
summary
of.
What's
going
on
so
I'm,
going
to
share
my
screen,
really
quick
and
then
pass
over
to
the
next
slide.
C
There
we
go
all
right
so
here
we
are
region,
registry
Hilo
and
the
invite
link
will
drop
into
chat
so
that
you
can
hop
in
even
right
now
and
check
it
out.
So
what
we're
going
to
do
is
kind
of
make
this
a
practice,
a
ritual
of
ours
that,
during
these
Community
calls,
we
take
some
time
to
see
what's
new
and
using
kind
of
this
Hi-Lo
shared
space
as
a
way
of
seeing
what's
happening
with
us,
seeing
what's
happening
with
others.
C
So
welcome.
If
this
is
your
first
time
here,
this
is
our
registry
Hi-Lo
collaborative
working
space,
that's
meant
to
be
a
place
to
engage
with
the
region
team
with
each
other
to
share
events,
things
moving
join
groups
around
methodologies,
participate
in
registry
processes.
So
welcome
to
the
main
page.
We
just
had
a
pretty
awesome
presentation
that
Ned's
going
to
share
more
about
from
era
Brazil,
and
you
can
check
out
some
takeaways
in
this
post
here
and
then
we've
got
the
ecometric
credit
class
added
to
the
library.
C
So
TIG
is
going
to
share
more
about
that,
but
you
can
kind
of
find
links
and
all
of
that
and
ask
questions
there
and,
as
you
said,
we've
got
the
public
comment
coming
and
during
the
public
comment
we
have
during
that
period.
We
have
a
discussion
in
this
space
for
anyone
who
perhaps
submitted
a
formal
comment
or
isn't
submitting
a
formal
comment,
but
wants
to
interact
with
with
regen
and
with
the
methodology
developers.
C
So
that's
happening
here
and
you
can
join
and
dialogue
right
there
and
we
just
had
our
we're
having
our
community
call
so
we're
like
pretty
up
to
date
there.
But,
as
you
can
tell
beyond
that,
we've
got
some.
Various
things
have
been
shared
like
different
funding
opportunities
like
sampling
guides
and
then
always
like
events
and
Community
meetings.
C
So
that's
kind
of
a
current
high
low
rundown
and
I'm
also
excited
because
Austin's
going
to
have
some
things
to
share
about
the
foundation's
use
of
Hilo
too
so
feel
free
to
pop
in
and
as
always,
you
can
find
a
lot
of
the
groups
nested
within
region
registry.
So
thanks
so
much
I'll
pass
it
on.
D
Yeah
so
era,
biodiversity
stewardship
token
is
going
to
be
posted
for
public
conference.
I
can
put
a
link
where
that
will
happen
in
the
chat
there
starting
next
week,
it'll
be
open
for
actually
a
little
bit
longer
for
a
month
and
in
tandem
it
is
going
to
expert
review
to
with
two
reviewers
a
little
different
than
our
usual
Cadence,
but
we
thought
that
that
would
work
out
a
little
bit
better.
This
methodology
and
credit
classes
actually
rolled
into
one
document.
D
It
works
better
for
for
the
way
this
methodology
was
written,
it's
very
kind
of
integrated
those
components
in
this
one
and
very
particular
to
the
ecosystem.
So,
with
the
stewardship
token,
you
will
also
see
a
a
few
other
guide
to
how
to
use
this
an
example
of
a
guide
with
how
to
use
this
with
Jaguars.
D
So
yeah
check
that
out
next
week
and
as
Becca
said
in
tandem,
there
will
be
the
Hilo
more
open
discussion.
So
the
public
comment
is,
is
sort
of
the
more
official
one
and
all
of
those
comments
will
be
recorded,
responded
to
by
Era
and
then
posted
how
they
were
responded
to
in
their
documents,
and
then
egometric
has
just
posted.
We've
posted
their
ghd
benefits
and
managed
crop
and
grants
systems
credit
cards
in
the
library
in
our
credit
class
Library,
so
super
exciting
there.
D
E
I
can
share
a
bit,
so
this
is
a
pre-announcement
because
we
haven't
yet
started
the
public
comment,
but
we
have
finished
our
upgrades
of
the
mythology.
It
has
been
reviewed
by
excellent
peer
reviewers
soil
scientists,
GA
as
an
expert,
remote
sensing,
expert
and
and
experts
in
the
voluntary
carbon
markets
as
well.
So
I
think
it's
going
to
be
a
very,
very
good
version
with
a
lot
of
upgrades.
E
So
there
I
listed
a
few.
We
are
going
to
be
writing
a
Blog
about
the
specific
changes
and
upgrades.
E
Some
of
them
are
going
to
be
about
loosening
a
little
bit
like
the
frequency
of
sampling,
so
only
requiring
a
minimum
of
every
five
years
samples
in
order
to
be
more
flexible
for
those
that
maybe
don't
have
the
budget
to
do
frequent
sampling,
but
we
will
be
sharing
more
in
a
blog,
but
also
I
wanted
to
share
here
in
advance,
because
some
things
that
are
linked
to
the
discussions
that
I'm
willing
to
be
opening
during
the
public
comments
are
not
only
tied
to
this
mythology.
E
So,
as
you
know,
this
mythology
has
been
our
in-house
mythology.
We
have
been
put
in
a
lot
of
thinking
on
it
and
it's
an
excuse
for
us
to
explore
all
the
the
feelings
of
develop
a
mythology
developer
and
also
a
good
opportunity
to
try
to
balance
scientific
rigor
with
feasibility.
E
There
are
some
discussions
around
incentivizing
Innovation
that
I'm
willing
to
be
opening,
because
we
understand
that
the
mythologies
are
going
to
be
changing.
This
is
a
registry
that
is
that
it's
open
for
Innovation,
and
once
we
have
new
versions
of
the
mythology,
what
happens
with
the
projects
that
are
linked
to
older
versions?
So
is
there?
There
are
some
discussions
and
some
good
questions
about
when
it's
a
good
moment
to
upgrade
a
project
to
a
new
version
of
a
mythology.
And
how
can
we
articulate
that
so
some
things
along
those
lines?
E
I
will
be
trying
to
open
the
discussions
on
high
low
and
if
any
of
you
have
discussions
that
you
are
willing
to
open
around
all
these
around
data
sharing
for
science?
How
to
incentivize
people
to
share
data
for
to
create
better
methodologies,
for
instance,
and
how
to
better
articulate
the
middle
ground
between
requirements
from
the
scientific
side
of
things
and
feasibility
from
the
people
doing
the
sampling
on
the
ground,
All
Those
Questions
may
be
related
to
most
of
our
mythologies,
so
just
reach
out
and
yeah.
If
you
have
ideas,
please
share
with
me.
A
G
I
just
say:
I
really
love
the
having
specific
kind
of
design
questions
that
are
getting
workshopped
with
the
community
as
an
approach.
I
think
is
really
great
and
I'm
curious
just
about
you
know
if
we're
making
explicit
invitations
to
sort
of
the
parties
that
that
we
want
to
make
sure,
are
sharing
opinions
about
each
of
these
questions,
to
sort
of
like
bring
them
in
and
and
who
those
people
might
be
for
each
of
these
questions,
because
I
could
imagine
different
stakeholders
being
really
important.
G
You
know,
like
maybe
it's
a
different
group
of
people
to
to
be
workshopping
incentive,
Innovation
versus
feasibility
like
honing,
in
on
feasibility
questions.
So
just
just
sort
of
noting
that
and
and
kind
of
thinking
out
loud.
You
know
how
do
we
make
sure
to
be
inviting
the
right
folks
to
participate
with
that
specific
question,
which
my
guess
is
you
all
are
already
thinking
about
that,
but
that's
what
that's
what
emerged
for
me
as
I
was
looking
at
this,
but
it's
really
exciting
to
have
carbon
plus
upgraded
in
public
comments.
G
E
That's
very
great
I
think
those
are
great
questions.
Maybe
this
space
is
a
good
opportunity
for
us
to
track,
maybe
the
emails
from
people
that
are
willing
to
be
participating
in
certain
topics.
E
Also,
we
will
be
sharing
about
the
high
low
and
the
blog
posts,
but
yeah
I
I,
guess
some
of
the
questions
May
worth,
maybe
webinars
specific
webinars
with
specific
calls,
and
you
know
emailing
specific
people
and
then
open
it
to
the
community,
but
just
making
sure
that
some
key
part
participants
are
not
missing
and.
G
My
instinct
is
definitely
that
it's
going
to
be
heard
if
we
just
put
it
up
on
high
low-
and
this
is
the
only
vehicle
for
sharing
that
these
are
our
core
questions.
That
will
that
we
really
are
going
to
need
to
sort
of
like
follow
up
and
I
think
specific
webinars
and
conversations,
and
just
like
just
ensuring
that
if
we
want,
we
really
robust
sort
of
feedback
on
these
specific
questions.
G
Let's
think
together
about
who
and
how
to
make
sure
that
they
engage
with
the
discussion
to
really
generate
a
positive
like
positive,
Mutual
understanding
about
the
trade-offs
and
then
hopefully
a
synthesis
of
what.
What
makes
the
most
sense
foreign.
E
People
have
suggestions.
Also
you
share
ideas
about
you
know:
I,
don't
know
how
to
better
collect
information.
That's
been
shared
and
ideas
and
where
to
participate,
but
what's
easier
for
you
guys.
H
Everyone
good
afternoon,
good
night
good
morning,
so
yeah
we've
been
developing
also
like
this
kind.
H
We
we
are
sharing
with
region
and
trying
to
bring
together
some
of
our
ideas
and
also
get
some
of
the
region.
Ideas,
adapt
our
ideas
and
you
I
I
have
to
confess.
You
know
that
you
know
it's
a
lot
of
things
that
we
do
so
sometimes
I
get
a
bit
lost
in
the
concepts,
but
I
see
that,
like
the
carbon
Blues
is
bringing
new
elements.
H
New
ways
to
you
know
to
engage
the
projects,
and
things
like
this
and
from
from
what
I
I
saw
like
first
like
the
idea
that
we
we
are
trying
to
to
come
up.
So
we
we're
launching
this
token
next
week,
which
is
it's
gonna,
be
a
small
batch
of
nfts
like
100
nfts,
we're
just
planning
to
do
it
open
C,
it's
just
gonna,
be
a
attemptative
from
our
side
to
to
present
something
in
a
more
practical
way.
H
So,
like
we
have
been
developing
these
papers,
but
there
is
also
always
this
Gap
right
before
like
elaboration
execution,
and
we
want
to
try
a
bit
of
execution
and
like
what
we
we
are
like
deciding
as
like.
Our
main
data,
like,
like
we
have
been
saying,
would
be
like
pictures
on
ground
pictures
by
by
the
selected
projects
that
we
we're
gonna.
You
know
try
to
collect
some
data
in
this
first
round,
so
like
I,
we
selected
projects
that
already
have
credibility.
You
know
that
have
have
been
around
for
a
while.
H
So
in
this
way
we
can
trust.
We
trust
them
so
they're
gonna
be
making
like
photos.
They're
gonna
plant,
some
things
in
other
Forest
system
and
they're
gonna
make
a
form
with
everything
they
have
planted
and
they're
gonna
try
to
prove
by
picture
so
in
video.
H
So
if
they
have
a
video
is
a
plus
if
they
can
only
picture,
that's
good.
If,
if
the
picture
is
is
good,
so
like
I,
also
think
that
maybe
like
some,
what
would
be
required
for
something
like
this
is
some
kind
of
technology
to
verify
images.
You
know
like
with
AI
now
right,
everything
can
happen,
but
we
still
think
like
that's
kind
of
a
good
way
to
to
start
with
them.
So
to
so,
they
can
give
information
on
what
they're
doing
and
what
we're
gonna
try.
You
know
after
we
do.
H
This
first
tentatives,
you
know
in
a
way
to
create
a
more
legitimacy
for
the
method
so
like
trying
to
follow
some
of
the
region,
guidelines
and
other
methodologies
that
are
there.
H
We
would
like
to
try
to
you
know
to
transform
into
carbon
some
some
other
elements
like
not
just
planting
trees,
but
if
you're
planting
like
a
short
cycle
plants
also
and
yeah,
like
that's
the
idea,
we
want
to
try
to
see
if
it
works
and
yeah,
it
would
be
cool
to
to
see
how
your
epic
rates
are
going
so
also
like
for
the
it
was
also
suggested
in
the
last
call
for
sampling
of
the
soil.
So
we
also
adopted
this
we're
gonna
adapt
this
for
the
first
round.
H
Also
soil
analysis,
I
think
it's
it's
a
good
element
also
because
most
of
farmers
already
do
it.
So
it
wouldn't
be
a
lot
to
ask
that
and
yeah
it's
going
to
be
exciting
and
I
hope
that
also
after
we
present
this
proposal
that
we
can
discuss
and
and
try
to
bring
it
together
with
the
other
elaborations
also
yeah.
So
just
adding
these
comments
to
the
meeting
thanks
guys.
E
C
Incrementing,
so
if
anyone
has
been
on
this
community
call
before
you
know
that
we've
been
working
really
hard
on
the
registry
guide
and
I'm
just
I
pop
the
link
into
chat
to
the
whole
guide
and
the
chapters
that
we've
most
recently
been
working
on
have
been
around
credit
class
development
and
project
like
development
and
registration
processes
along
with
templates
and
all
of
that.
So
a
lot
of
that
has
been
built
out.
C
We're
continuing
to
work
on
new
chapters
around
credit
issuance,
really
the
full
life
cycle
of
a
credit,
and
one
of
those
is
around
project,
marketing
and
project
story.
So
if
you
go
in
to
the
guide
under
project
development,
on
the
sidebar,
you'll
see,
project
registration
and
then
project
marketing
and
right
now
we
have
the
first
iteration
of
kind
of
what
project
marketing
would
look
like,
which
is
that
there
is
a
there's,
a
story
to
be
told
about
these
projects
and
there's
information
that
we
need
to
be
able
to
document.
C
And
so
the
template
is
the
project
story
and
we've
been
working
with
the
ecosystem
team
around
what's
needed.
And
how
do
we
get?
How
do
we
pull
all
of
the
richness
of
this
work
out
from
the
science
out
from
the
methodology
and
into
things
that
can
be
used
for
for
lookbooks
and
the
project
pages
and
really
putting
a
lot
of
of
imagery
and
description
around
around
the
work?
C
So
you
can
go
on
to
the
guide
now
and
check
out
the
project
story,
template
there's
a
downloadable
version
and
you
can
preview
it
and
see
what
would
be
required
of
a
project
at
this
stage.
So
it's
after
going
through
methodology
and
credit
class
development
and
you're
reaching
kind
of
those
end
end
moments,
and
you
would
be
coming
up
with
with
this
content,
and
then
you
can
imagine
here
is
a
is
an
example
of
a
project
page
you
can
imagine
how
that
would
be
would
be
used,
as
always
we
are
are
having.
C
We
want
to
be
able
to
co-develop
the
guide
as
much
as
possible,
and
so
we
invite
you,
if
you
have
any
feedback,
input
questions
to
hop
into
this
specific
group
in
Hilo.
It's
dedicated
to
guide
discussion
so
all
are
welcome
to
offer
feedback
and
input
there
in
that
group.
So
look
forward
to
a
lot
of
the
projects
that
we're
going
to
talk
about
today
and
we'll
continue
to
talk
about.
C
This
is
the
work
that
they
do
so
we
can
all
get
excited
about
that
work
Landing
in
Project
pages
in
The
Marketplace
here
in
the
next
in
the
next
stretch
and
I-
think
that's
it
for
registry
we're
going
to
do
a
live
poll
question,
but
we
can
do
it
at
the
end
after
Foundation
I
think
that
we
get
past
the
Baton.
B
You
hear
me
cool
nice
to
see
you
all.
This
is
my
second
time
doing.
The
foundation
presentation
at
this
community
call
so
I
still
feel
like
I'm
a
little
bit
like
in
introduction
mode
and
sort
of
like
trying
to
capture
and
convey
at
a
higher
level
of
magnification
a
lot
of
things
that
have
that
are
happening
to
date.
B
So
this
presentation,
rather
than
unlike
last
time,
I'm
going
to
present
a
fewer
number
of
things
with
more
specificity
and
I'm,
going
to
try
to
treat
this
as
an
opportunity
to
share
some
of
the
documents
that
are
actively
being
circulated
and
discussed
within
the
foundation
and
like
spelled
them
out
to
this
community,
so
that
you
don't
have
to
go
digging
through
different
resources
to
like
get
a
sense
of
what
Salient
and
what's
moving
for
us
and
also
just
try
to
give
a
snapshot
of
what's
alive
and
happening.
B
Wills
all
and
then
a
chain
both
core
members
of
the
region.
Foundation
are
at
a
a
Kofi
event
on
collaborative
Finance
at
the
commons
Hub
in
Austria,
and
it's
supported,
and
primarily
through
informal
systems,
around
liquidity,
conserving
and
Mutual
Credit,
Systems
local
monetary
policies
and
we're
doing
like
a
deep
dive
into
what
like
Community
currencies.
Local
exchange
trading
systems
and
decentralized
exchange
trading
systems
look
like
and
how
they're
owned
in
government,
which
is
very
much
within
the
Wheelhouse
of
the
foundations
perspective
within
the
larger
Network?
B
Also,
some
updates
the
latest
a
recipient
of
an
endowment
transfer
is
smart,
aggro
and
I'm
going
to
give
just
like
a
quick
set
of
introduction
of
slides
from
their
work.
This
is
from
their
recent
deck
and
their
approach
is
to
work
within
regenerative
farming
within
Cambodia
to
transition
towards
no-till
and
cover
crops
for
large
volume
like
large
square
footage
farms
in
Cambodia.
B
So
you
can
step
forward
against
their
approach,
is
to
do
cover
crops
and
no-till
and
develop
that
through
training
and
support
with
direct
local
communities,
so
that
they
are
actively
participating
in
the
rituals
and
practices
of
transitioning
towards
regenerative
agriculture,
primarily
through
rice,
but
I,
know,
there's
a
number
of
other
different
crops.
B
You
can
go
for
it
again
and
so
smart
aggros
developing
this
through
a
number
of
different
demo
sites
in
different
providences,
and
we
see
this
shared
project
of
methodology.
Development,
as
well
as
active
participation
in
governance
and
ownership
of
the
larger
region
Network
in
the
region.
Ledger
as
like
the
kind
of
perfect
case
for
like
a
community
staking
doubt,
and
primarily
the
one
of
the
main
people
we're
working
with,
is
Mark
Eberle
who's
based
in
Cambodia
and
in
Germany
and
I.
B
Don't
have
a
slide
on
this,
but
they're
working
pretty
actively
in
exploring
gamification
as
a
sort
of
incentive
space
for
communities
to
be
informed
at
the
game
capacity
around
ecosystem,
soil
science
and
ecosystem
health.
B
So
I'm
really
excited
to
welcome
smart
aggro
into
the
Cs
style,
and
this
was
an
opportunity
to
introduce
them
a
little
bit
more
thoroughly
to
those
who
didn't
know
their
work
and
you
can
check
them
out
at
smart,
hyphen,
agro.net
yeah
I'll
try
to
have
different
CS
style
participants
come
and
join
these
sessions
in
subsequent
ones
after
I
sort
of
laid
the
ground.
But
this
week
I
wanted
to
give
a
highlight
to
smart
aggro
and
you
can
step
forward
cool.
B
So
last
session,
I
introduced
that
a
document
had
been
circulating
within
the
region.
B
Foundation
Hilo,
as
well
as
on
our
Twitter,
around
Reflections
from
the
first
year
of
the
community,
staking
down
and
I'm
actually
going
to
take
the
time
to
sort
of
sit
and
work
through
what
I
think
are
some
like
core
and
important
challenges
around
Community
ownership
and
governance
of
of
an
of
an
entity
in
a
protocol
like
region
Network,
because
maybe
in
its
diagrammatic
form,
it's
not
obvious
initially,
but
I
feel
like
it
merits
attention
and
I,
as
I
said
before.
B
So
this
diagram
I
think
reflects
a
sort
of
three-parted
three-part
triangular
challenge,
around
Community
ownership
of
region
Network,
and
it's
taken
from
what
I
slash
the
larger
foundation
in
CS
Dow
have
learned
over
the
last
year
and
I'll
break
it
down
in
a
couple
of
slides
but
I'll
stay
on
this
slide
to
say
in
the
lower
left
hand
corner
we
have
land-based
regenerative
communities
and
by
definition
they
don't
have
a
seat
at
the
table
in
terms
of
ownership
and
governance,
and
hence
why
an
entity
like
the
endowment
process
exists
to
bring
voices
and
perspectives
of
regenerative
communities
to
the
table.
B
But
that
also
means
that
they
frequently
have
a
lower
technical
fluency
and
a
higher
barrier
to
entry
to
understand
what
ownership
and
governance
looks
like
that's
the
lower
left
point.
The
lower
right
vertex
has
to
do
with
Dow
tools
being
developed
in
parallel
to
the
communities
coming
on
board
and
so
oftentimes.
B
There
might
not
be
a
UI
ux
or
a
user
interface,
and
so
a
lot
of
the
tools
to
participate
in
governance
have
a
higher
barrier
to
entry,
there's
more
friction
towards
use
and
the
topmost
one
has
to
do
with
like
what
the
nature
of
proposals
are
either
like
protocol
architecture,
level
and
oftentimes.
We
see
proposals
that
have
I'd,
say
a
high
degree
of
abstraction
or
are
quite
decoupled
or
divorced
from
the
sort
of
concerns
and
activities
of
regenerative
or
land-based
communities,
and
you
can
step
forward.
B
Thanks
so
I'm
sort
of
expanding
these
out
a
little
bit
at
the
lower
left,
vertex
like
I'm,
just
gonna,
say
that
can't
change.
It's
like
we
can
say:
okay,
well,
we're
no
longer
going
to
work
with
and
support
the
engagement
and
ownership
of
land,
stewards,
they're
essential
to
community
ownership
and
governance
of
the
infrastructure
and
their
primary
one
of
the
primary
driving
forces
for
the
existence
of
the
foundation.
B
So
the
other
two
are
ones
that
were
actively
exploring
how
to
make
reflect
the
needs
and
concerns
of
regenerative
and
land-based
communities,
and
those
are
sort
of
active
areas
of
exploration
so
in
the
Cs
style.
We're
actually
talking
about
like
what
does
governance
culture
look
like
and
what
existing
systems
and
platforms
are
we
talking
and
chatting
on
and
how
can
tooling
interface
and
integrate
with
existing
platforms?
B
The
four
that
I'm
going
to
show
are
telegram
Hi-Lo
groups
and
Commonwealth.
How
are
we
integrating
governance
processes
into
the
existing
culture
that
we
have
and
then
for
the
top
question
around
the
nature
of
the
proposals
and
like
retention
or
capacity
of
understanding
in
terms
of
the
nature
of
the
proposals?
B
There's
an
active
discussion
around
what
groups
and
what
policies
govern
which
aspects
of
the
overall
region
Network,
the
the
proposals
are
well
aligned
to
the
stakeholders
that
care
about
them,
we're
not
asking
land,
Steward
communities
to
weigh
in
and
make
crucial
governance
processes
on
things
that
are
well
outside
of
their
expertise.
So
how
are
groups
designed
to
reflect
the
needs?
B
An
example
might
be
like
what
is
the
group's
governance
of
a
credit
class
creation
from
the
registry
perspective,
so
I
unpacked
this
in
more
detail
in
the
doc,
but
I
wanted
to
like
surface
this
three-part
challenge,
because
I
think
it
comes
up
over
and
over
again
in
the
nature
of
proposal,
interface
and
demographic
that
we
work
with,
and
this
is
a
really
unique
and
cutting
challenge
that
we're
working
with
it's
also
an
opportunity.
So
hopefully
that
holds
together
and
that
was
informative.
B
A
I
would
love
to
I
just
weigh
in
for
a
second
in
support
of
what
you're
talking
about
I
mean
I
know.
You
know
that
I'm
very
supportive
on
this
topic
in
particular,
but
I
think,
especially
with
we
just
had
a
couple
of
proposals.
Go
live
recently
that
were
specifically
upgrading
or
specifically
changing
a
parameters
so
that
our
chain
can
continue
functioning
and
I.
A
Think
when
we
talk
about
trying
to
pull
in
these
communities
into
this
governance
process
and
they're
having
to
weigh
through
that
level
of
stuff,
alongside
the
things
that
are
actually
going
to
be
relevant
to
them,
I
think
I,
think
having
these
groups
and
looking
at
how
what
the
power
of
this
can
do
for
for
making
that
easier
to
Wade
through
is
what
I'm
trying
to
say
is
very
exciting
and
so
I'm
excited
to
see
as
part
of
this
presentation,
too,
I
think
it's
a
fun
topic
and
yeah.
B
Yeah
I
I
think
this
is
an
incredibly
potent
and
unique
challenge
to
what
region
is
trying
to
take
on
so
I'm
like
giving
it
air
time
with
us,
because
I'm
like
this
is
oh,
a
really
exciting
and
meaningful
challenge
so
like
weigh
in
cool,
maybe
I'll,
just
keep
going
and
folks
can
drop
questions
whatever
later,
if
they
like.
B
Okay.
So
this
is
all
part
of
this
original
document.
That's
lessons
from
the
First
Community
staping
dial,
again
I'm
actually
going
to
take
air
time
and
pull
out
the
takeaways.
That
I
think
are
important
here,
because
I
want
people
to
sit
with
them
and
I
don't
want
to
make
you
all
just
go
to
a
link.
I
have
to
find
it
for
yourself,
so
it's
not
too
long,
but
I
am
going
to
go
through
them.
She
slides
if
you
want
to
step
forward
safe,
so
yeah
each
side
is
four.
B
These
are
sort
of
like
larger
takeaways
from
a
year
of
building,
Community
ownership
and
governance
through
the
CSL
project.
That
building
a
community
and
friendship
was
around
common
purpose
and
ideals
was
the
primary
thing
we
did
in
the
last
year.
B
That
might
sound
like
an
obvious
thing
to
do,
but
sometimes
it's
hard
to
have
things
to
show
for
that,
but
that
it's
around
building
a
culture
first
and
allowing
the
technology
to
reflect
the
needs
of
the
culture
and
not
leading
with
the
Techno
determinism
or
leading
with
the
technology
first
and
so
I
think
that
CS
file
has
created
its
own
unique
culture
and,
like
has
a
good
vibe,
has
abide
more
broadly
that
we're
like
exploring
what
Technical
Systems
can
be
reflecting
those
concerns,
but
also
really
actively
talking
about
endowing
the
entire
first
cohort
as
an
entity
because,
rather
than
just
a
series
of
individual
dials,
this
first
entity
has
been
responsible
for
architecting
this
larger
process
to
such
an
extent
that
it
makes
sense
that
they're
their
own
Standalone
entity,
so
that
the
cohort
is
also
Adele,
as
happened
yet
but
like
how
to
do
that,
like
what
is
the?
B
What
what
is
the
purpose
statement
or
using
post-social
practices?
What
like
what?
What
is
the
concern
and
priorities
of
the
first
cohort,
Claire
Lillian
shout
out.
Thank
you
all
for
joining.
So
if
you
want
to
weigh
in
on
any
of
this,
please
just
like
interrupt
me.
So
another
one
is
like
the
the
developing,
the
feasibility
of
on-ramps
and
off-ramps
again.
I
think
this
is
a
unique
region
challenge.
B
In
particular,
you
see
a
style
challenge,
a
lot
of
the
sort
of
web
3
governance
tools,
work
quite
well
once
you're
inside
of
them,
but
like
account,
abstraction
or
like
authenticating
yourself,
with
keys
in
order
to
get
into
the
space
and
then
off-ramps
like
having
equivalents
with
Fiat
currencies
or
like
making
sure
that
it
works
within
crypto
compliance
within
a
nation
state
or
a
government.
B
Those
things
that
happen
before
you
participate
in
the
sort
of
what
descent
distributed
governance
process
and
those
things
that
happen
out
of
it
become
incredibly
important,
and
those
are
very
high.
Friction
moments,
so
in
the
next
cohort
I
think
it's
really
important
to
think
through
what
are
the
on-ramps
and
on
what
are
the
off
ramps
for
the
technology,
we're
building
specifically
for
regenerative
and
land
Steward
communities.
B
The
last
one
for
this
slide
is
there's
a
lot
of
different
models
for
funding,
pools
and
a
lot
of
different
tokens.
Fiat,
whatever
it
might
be,
and
different
systems
of
how
to
allocate
funding
based
off
of
Interest
and
we've
taken
a
stance
that
the
implementation,
what
I
call
like
the
last
millimeter
of
these
processes,
has
been
one
of
our
primary
focuses.
B
It's
not
to
say
that
funding,
pools
and
like
Grant
rounds
aren't
incredibly
important,
but
in
the
spirit
of
that
on-ramp
and
off-ramp
question
working
with
Dows
that
are
trying
to
really
Implement.
That
in
context,
has
been
one
of
our
main
focuses,
because
that
can't
be
relegated
later
on
that
those
challenges
need
to
be
worked
on
from
the
very
onset
and
throughout
the
process
of
integrating
and
bringing
in
voices
of
regenerators
and
allowing
them
to
make
sure
that
they're
getting
things
back
out
of
this
process.
B
Something
we've
like
really
like
I
would
say.
Learn
the
hard
way
is
working
with
groups
where
the
Power
Balance
and
Trust
internally
to
the
group
is
clear,
particularly
when
we're
talking
about
groups
module
or
monk
multi-sig
functionalities,
where
thresholds
or
percentages
no
healthy
group
I
mean
a
dispersal
of
tokens
or
funding
can
be
divisive
to
communities.
B
Look
like
that,
codify?
That
early
on
understanding
that
things
are
fluid
and
they're
going
to
change,
should
probably
speed
up
a
little
bit
here.
We're
we're
like
emphatic
and
excited
to
work
across
the
larger
sort
of
just
distributed.
Finance
space
or
regenerative
Finance
space
so
like
I,
am
excited
to
learn
around
what
even
evm
compatible
refi
projects
are
doing
and
understanding
that
if
the
common
purpose
is
held
that
the
tech
stack
and
the
ecosystem,
the
technical
ecosystem
shouldn't
be
burdens
that
we
should
be
particularly
in
this
market.
B
Like
building
connections
across
protocols,
because
the
purpose
is
aligned
also
the
idea
around
Distributing
or
dispersing
ownership
being
incremental,
so
that,
like
it's,
not
all
a
lump
sum
but
incrementally
expanding
based
off
of
Engagement
or
some
other
measure
or
like
just
participation
more
broadly
speaking,
so
that
there's
a
clear
incentive
structure
to
like,
educate
and
lean
in
and
and
build
capacity
around
different
topics.
B
If
it's
just
a
one-off,
that's
can
be
much.
It
runs
the
risk
of
being
a
sort
of
transactional
like
jumping
off
the
cliff,
rather
than
a
relationship
which
has
ownership
and
governance
woven
into
it,
and
then,
lastly,
like
what
is
the
role
of
totems
and
symbolism
in
relationship
to
the
largest
csdao
community
I'm,
pulling
that
directly
from
Carol
Sanford's
work
around
like
totemic
and
symbolic
practices
within
Community
identity,
so
their
badges?
Are
there
a
symbolic
culture
around
affiliation
fire
regions?
B
What
you
offer
what
you
need,
that
was
me:
speed
running
that
entire
document
to
the
takeaways.
Hopefully,
some
of
that
resonates
or
some
part
of
it's
like.
Oh,
this
is
again
uniquely
region
type
of
problems
that
were
like
kind
of
like
the
bleeding
edge
of
wanting
to
work
through
so
I
think
it
merits
giving
them
some
air
time
cool.
So
you
step
forward
again.
B
B
But
the
larger
question
of
of
what
existing
platforms
are
there
in
this
case
say:
there's
Telegram
and
a
group
and
Hilo
and
Commonwealth,
and
how
we
see
this
being
necessarily
a
pipeline,
but
like
different
scopes
of
governance
related
to
different
types
of
needs,
and
that's
like
matching
a
proposal
to
the
appropriate
kind
of
group.
So
there's
clearly
already
a
kind
of
process
through
like
socializing
and
signaling
on
Commonwealth
and
I.
Guess
we're
working
through
how
to
get
to
that
process
from
a
community
fabric.
B
That's
that's
sort
of
native
to
regenerative
communities
or
to
the
existing
CS
Stout
culture.
So
what
would
it
look
like
to
have
a
group's
interface
integrated
into
Hilo
or
to
be
able
to
take
existing
things
and
plug
them
in
rather
than
inventing
a
whole
new
interface,
which
is
a
whole
new
URL?
You
have
to
go
to
Let's
wire,
this
stuff.
B
All
together
from
the
culture
yeah
next
slide
and
I'm
not
going
to
say
too
much
about
this,
but
it
is
taking
up
a
lot
of
attention
is
that
recently
you
might
have
seen
the
New
York
Times
Ecuador
struck
a
landmark
deal
to
protect
the
Galapagos
in
exchange
for
debt
forgiveness.
What's
called
a
debt
Swap
and
in
alignment
with
the
work
that
the
region
Foundation
has
set
out
to
do
we're
actively
developing
allyship
with
indigenous
governance
in
the
Ecuadorian
and
Amazon.
B
B
But
that
process
is
really
actively
unfolding
and
hopefully,
in
the
next
several
months,
they'll
be
the
terms
and
agreements
for
which
we
can
talk
more
publicly
about
what's
happening
there.
But
a
lot
is
happening
there
and
it's
really
exciting.
I
accept
one
more
forward.
I
think
that
might
be
it
for.
H
B
Yeah,
that's
it
thanks
for
listening,
I'm,
Austin,
region.foundation
I
think
in
the
future,
I'll
try
to
invite
others
in,
but
hopefully
this
gives
like
a
double
click
on
what
I
think
is
Salient
and
important.
A
G
A
I'm
also
super
looking
forward
to
seeing
what
community
members
you
pull
in
and
future
Community
calls
I'm
I'm
enjoying
this
Foundation,
but
I'm
excited
to
see
yeah
to
meet
to
meet
people
on
the
on
your
side
of
the
community.
B
Yeah,
well
maybe
a
couple
of
them
presently
here
now
would
join
at
a
subsequent
session
to
to
tease
apart
or
to
foreground,
what's
motivating
and
exciting
to
you
and
I'm,
looking
at
Claire,
politano
and
Logan
I,
don't
know
if
I've
ever
said
your
last
name,
I
believe
if
Lillian
you're
still
here
yeah
there,
you
are
yeah
cool
I.
Think
this
community
call
is
honestly
really
helpful.
Just
for
me
too,
to
like
get
it
out
and
be
like.
C
B
Yeah,
it's
interesting
thing
about
what
existing,
like
lots
of
different
Frameworks,
still
sort
of
from
ecological
perspective,
from
the
like
pro-social
perspective
from
a
bioregional
perspective
might
form
a
kind
of
framework
around
what
symbols
or
totems
or
nfts
or
badges
or
like
ways
of
signaling
quickly.
Your
position.
A
Awesome
well
with
our
remaining
time.
I
think
if
you
don't
mind,
Becca
will
launch
into
the
poll
first
and
then
we
kind
of
glassed
over
the
environmental
stewardship
meeting.
But
there
was
a
big
one
this
morning
that
I
would
love
to
hear
that
talk
about.
If
he
doesn't
mind,
does
that
sound
good
for
order
of
events
yeah
all
right,
launching
the
poll
now
Becca?
Do
you
want
to
say
anything
about
it.
C
The
only
thing
I
want
to
say
about
it
is
that
we're
gonna
continue
to
have
these
different
practices
during
our
community
call
and
in
an
effort
to
make
some
more
interactive
levels.
I
would
love
to
just
hear
from
you
all,
and
this
is
from
even
internal
team
too,
if
it,
if
it
feels
relevant
or
alive,
for
you
to
be
able
to
just
pause
and
answer
a
question
that
will
give
us
insight
into
where
you
are.
C
What
the
needs
are,
what
we're
missing
just
wanting
to
be
able
to
have
more
of
a
of
a
loop.
So
just
a
ritual,
so
yeah
take
a
minute
to
sit
with
this
question
and
then
we'll
we'll
pop
to
Ned
thanks
everybody.
A
H
Yeah,
just
one
thing
I
forgot
to
mention
you
guys,
can
I
share
my
screen,
one
minute
to
show
I.
We
I
we
got
to
mention
region
Network
in
the
news,
the
magazine
of
MIT,
so
MIT
technology
reveal
from
Brazil.
H
They
made
a
an
article
on
refi,
so
I
will
share
the
link
with
you,
nice
and
they
mentioned
region.
Network
and
Eco
credits.
H
G
C
Well,
folks
are
wrapping
up
their
responses.
Ned
do
you
wanna,
take
the
floor.
I
The
27th
of
June,
not
the
the
20th
just
so
people
know
it's
gonna,
be
at
9
30
a.m.
Eastern
and
1
30
p.m,
GMT,
and
we
do
alternate
between
the
9
30
Eastern
to
a
noon:
Eastern,
Time
monthly,
just
to
better
accommodate
different
groups.
I
This
last
meeting,
the
one
that
was
immediately
before
this
Community
call
highlighted
the
work
of
era
Brazil,
which
we've
heard
a
lot
about
so
far
today,
and
it
was
just
a
great
presentation:
it
was
he
I,
don't
know
he
went
on
for
about
half
an
hour,
just
kind
of
getting
into
the
details
of
what
they're
doing.
Why
they're
doing
it,
and
it's
just
it's
really
inspiring,
because
it's
I'm,
a
big
fan
of
a
lot
of
the
practice-based
approaches
and
that's
their
thing
is
their
methodology
is
practice
based
and
it's
focused
on
data
collection.
I
So
one
of
the
criticisms
that
people
have
about
practice
space
is
that
it's
you
know
how
you
gotta
know
if
it's
working
here,
what
about
the
data?
Isn't
the
data
important
and
they're
using
the
data
for
knowledge
generation
not
for
determining
the
price
of
a
credit?
So
the
whole
project
is
really
a
round
data
collection.
It's
trying
to
raise
money
so
they
can
collect
better
data,
so
they
can
make
better
management
decisions
so
anyway,
just
really
inspiring
to
see
this
move
along
I
hope
everybody
is
able
to
participate
in
the
community
discussion
up.
I
You
know
for
the
methodology,
the
community
review,
which
will
be
coming
up
in
another
week-ish
or
so
other
than
that.
You
know
these
meetings
are
small.
It's
usually
you
know
a
dozen
people
or
so
that
that
show
up,
and
it's
people
who
try
to
have
somebody
talking
about
a
project
but
oftentimes.
It's
just
lots
of
different
people
talking
about
projects.
I
So
if
you
have
an
interest,
please
join
if
you
you
can
get
invites
on
through
the
Hi-Lo
group,
and
if
you
are
not
getting
emails-
and
you
want
to
just
send
me,
your
contact
information
I'll,
make
sure
that
you're
on
the
email
distribution
list-
that's
about
it,
for
environmental
stewardship,.
I
G
Do
those
recordings
end
up
on
YouTube
or
just
staying
on
zoom
and
sort
of
like
access
to
them?
What,
where
do
we
save
those.
I
A
G
Just
to
note
I
for
some
reason
on
my
iPad,
the
poll
wasn't
working,
so
I
just
threw
my
answer
in
the
chat.
If
it's
useful,
if
you
wanna
grab
that
and
sorry
it's
not
in
a
you
know
not
in
the
form
that
probably
makes
it
much
easier,
but
yeah
really
love
the
I
really
love
these
calls.
So
thanks
everybody
for
contributing
it's
really
great.
C
A
Awesome
well,
thank
you
guys
so
much
and
you
have
a
lovely
rest
of
your
day.
