From YouTube: The History of Rust
Description
Author: Steve Klabnik
Abstract:
The Rust programming language recently celebrated its one year anniversary since 1.0. While that's not a long time, there were eight years of development before that, which saw radical changes in the language. In this talk, Steve will show off some of Rust's history, with all of the decisions and changes that were made along the way.

Before
here's
a
function
that
with
generics
so
early
rest
had
generics,
it
use
the.

A
A
Is
very
interesting
for
a
number
of
reasons.
The
first
thing
is
is
that
while
grading
was
sort
of
this
benevolent.
A
A
A
A
Three,
where
the
big
ones,
and
so
we
had
this
syntax.

So
this
spins
up
10
different
threads,
so
we
mapped
from
the
range
of
0
to
10
and.

Versus
two
spaces,
and
don't
even
mention
tabs,
so
we
would
just
like
do
that
ourselves,
basically
by
introducing
a.
A
It's
taking
us
a
little
longer
to
put
this
together
because
it's
it
reaches.

Details,
but
you
know
they
pretty
much
like
they
actually
put
into
production.
A

A
One
of
those
two
times
our
fault,
not
your
fault,
so
that's
kind
of
interesting.
We
just
started
a
page
that
we
call
the
friends.
A
A
That
is
all
I
hope
that
I
gave
you
a
little
bit
of
my
love
of
the
rest.
