Too,
the
program
is
called
caps
or
Center
for
Advanced
Professional
Studies.
This
is
a
national
program
that
places
high
school
students
in
contact
with
local
businesses
through
a
profession
based
learning
approach.
They
work
with
businesses
assisting
with
meaningful
projects
and
learning
from
mentors
in
the
field
to
receive
college
credit.
Our
local
school
districts
are
working
to
bring
caps
to
San
Charles
County
and
are
considering
health
care
and
entrepreneurship.
As
two
areas
of
focus,
other
opportunities
will
be
added,
as
the
program
grows.
Wow.
B
A
Survey
was
distributed
by
the
manufacturing
task
force
of
the
st.
Charles
County
Workforce
Development
Board
in
late
2016,
and
indicates
that
businesses
are
hiring
for
manufacturing
jobs
and
seeing
more
technical
training
opportunities
in
the
community.
Results
of
the
survey
show
that
the
top
local
manufacturing
jobs
available
in
the
next
two
years
are
expected
to
be
an
assembly,
production
engineering,
computer
numerical
control,
machine
e
quality
inspection,
warehouse
shipping
and
receiving
sales
and
welders
to
meet
those
needs
as
they
arise.
B
C
Trevor,
hey
Ashley,
welcome
to
another
vis
might
as
our
local
manufacturing
base
grows,
so
does
the
need
for
workers
with
the
right
technical
skills.
Thankfully,
we've
got
a
number
of
great
schools
in
our
area
and
they're
doing
just
that
and
they're
growing
in
the
last
two
years.
For
instance,

expanded
their

State
Technical
College.
They
moved
on
to
the
campus
of
the
Luce

Career
Center
in
st.
Charles,
and
also
the
st.
Charles
Community
College
just
announced
they're
going
to
add
technical
training.

So
therefore,
if
we
could
just
take
a
moment
whenever
is
possible
to
stay
inside
air
conditioning
when
it
gets
hot,
also
to
stay
hydrated,
which
is
drinking
lots
of
water
and
lastly,
if
you
do
go
outside
to
wear
insect
repellant
and
sunscreen,
in
addition
to
that,
people
can
wear
light-colored,
loose-fitting,
clothing
and
also,
if
whatever
you
do
no
matter,
what
never
ever
leave
your
kids
or
your
pets
inside
a
car
during
the
summer
months
to
get
more
safety
tips
about
the
summer.

Cybercrime,
a
fairly
new
term
in
the
field
of
criminal
justice,
but
an
area
that
is
receiving
more
and
more
attention
launched
in
2001
in
response
to
an
increase
in
activity.
The
st.
Charles
County
cybercrime
unit
is
comprised
of
detectives
for
multiple
jurisdictions
to
cover
seven
counties.
Its
primary
focus
is
on
the
investigation
and
forensics
of
cyber
crimes
related
to
child
pornography
and
exploitation.
Our
unit.
F
In
2015
conducted
65
investigations
on
the
average
it
takes
about
42
hours
to
analyze
an
electronic
device.
Our
unit
currently
consists
of
five
what
they
call
forensic
examiners.
Those
are
the
guys
that
actually
go
hands-on
with
the
media.
They
are
trained
in
being
able
to
find
the
electronic
evidence
and
then
prepare
that
for
further
use
by
our
criminal
investigators.
The
investigators
themselves,
their
purpose.
Their
focus
is
internet,
Primus,
children,

Task
Force.
We
are
the
lead
agency
for
the
state.
We
report
the
statistics
as
a
state
to
the
Department
of
Justice.
One
thing
that
is
interesting:
we
are
one
of
61
task
force's
in
the
country,
I
oversee
both
the
computer,
forensics
jammers
and
I
had
a
sergeant
who
is
overseeing
the
investigators
for
the
actual
criminal
investigations
and
then
also
manage
the
grant
for
iPads
in
Missouri.
With
the
assistance
of
my
program
analysts,
our
federal
grant
Ward
awards
us
money
that
we
can
use
for
training
and
equipment.

Sure
your
kids
know
who
they're
talking
to
on
social
media,
make
sure
they're
not
talking
to
strangers
and
not
giving
out
personal
information
like
what
school
to
go
to,
or
your
last
name
or
your
address
to
people.
They
don't
know.
Please
start
a
conversation
today
with
your
kids
about
their
online
behavior
and
what
the
possible
consequences
of
dangers
might
be.
