services
protects

health

safety
of

Charles
County
residents
and
pets
by
licensing
and
regulating
animals,
housing,
strays
and
investigating
complaints.
The
the
division
works
to
prevent
mistreatment
and
injury
to
animals
by
enforcing
regulations
for
their
care
control
in
custody.
The
division
of
Humane
Services
operates
the
Pet
Adoption
Center,
located
on
mid
rivers,
mall
drive
across
from
st.
Charles
Community
College.
It
features
a
very
active
adoption
program.

adoption
center
is
the

to

are
always
plenty
of
different
animals
to
choose
from,
and
every
dog
or
cat
is
spayed
or
neutered.
