Heavenly
Father,
as
we
gather
here
this
evening,
to
honor
our
officers
and
to
remember
those
who
gave
their
lives
and
service
for
our
community,
we
ask
that
you
bless
those
who
serve
bless.
Those
who've
been
injured
in
the
line
of
service,
keep
us
all
safe
from
harm
and
bless
the
families
of
those
who
have
lost
officers
and
servants
lost
loved
ones
in
serving
our
community
that
they
may
know
your
love
and
comfort.
In
the
midst
of
their
grief
and
the
support
and
the
gratitude
that
we
have
for
their
service.
We
ask
this
all.

On
September
10th
2008,
a
police
officer
died
on
duty
and
st.
Charles
to
many
he
was
a
man
who
rode
speeding,
tickets
or
arrested
bad
guys.
Some
people
probably
thought
he
was
a
good
cop,
some
probably
thought
he
was
mean
and
tough
and
others
probably
thought
he
was
silly.
But
above
all,
this
man
was
human.
This
man
was
a
cop,
but
he
was
a
good
friend
a
good
brother,
a
good
son
and
a
good
husband
to
this
man
was
our
dad.
My
name
is
Paige.
J
Janssen
I
was
only
four
years
old
when
my
dad
died,
but
my
dad
was
killed
in
a
car
accident
on
duty.
I
am
now
14
years
old.
Many
people
may
think
it
was
better
than
I
was
young
when
he
died.
But
what
frustrates
me
the
most
is
I.
Don't
really
remember
anything
about
my
dad,
except
for
what
other
people
have
told
me.
I
was
so
bad
I
could
remember
his
voice,
his
left,
his
smile
and
his
smell
when
he
hold
me,
but
I.
Just
can't
my
dad
has
missed
10
of
my
birthday's.

My
name
is
Greg
Anthony
Jensen.
My
mom
was
only
6
weeks
pregnant
with
me
when
my
dad
died,
I
never
got
a
chance
to
even
meet
my
dad
I.
Don't
have
any
pictures
of
my
dad
with
me,
like
my
brother
and
sister.
Do
so
I
may
think.
How
can
you
miss
someone
you
never
knew,
but
I
can
tell
you
I
miss
him.
I,
see
all
my
friends
with
their
dad
and
I.
Miss
him.
I
think
about
fishing.
With
my
dad
and
I
miss
him.
C
J
Because
of
who
our
dad
was
expectations
for
us
are
five,
it's
a
huge
responsibility
to
feel
because
we
don't
want
to
let
anyone
down,
but
especially,
we
want
our
dad
to
be
proud.
Our
mom
has
been
very
open
with
us
about
her
feelings
in
grief
and
wants
us
to
a
friend
of
ours.
We
were
connected
with
an
amazing
group
called
concern
to
play
survivors
where
we
have
met
so
many
kids.
Just
like
us.
We
have
friends
all
over
the
country
that
we
have
met
at
cops,
kids,
camp
and
young
adults
camp.
It's
a
place.
J
We
spend
one
week
a
year
with
others
who
get
us.
Don't
judges
are
not
police
haters
and
where
we
can
be
ourselves,
we
can
be
happy
and
sad
there.
We
can
remember
in
honor
of
fallen
officer
and
not
be
told.
Aren't
you
over
that?
Yet
it's
a
place
where
all
three
of
us
have
had
time
to
heal,
have
fun
and
develop
relationships
with
those
who
understand
why
enforcement
mentors
are
there
to
push
us
to
be
better
people,
even
during
the
time
of
sadness
and
pain.
When
that
might
be
the
last
thing,
we're
thinking
about
I.
J
Don't
know
where
I
would
be
with
without
my
mom
brothers,
my
family
friends,
and
especially
my
cops
creeping
through
the
last
10
years.
I
have
learned
that
life
isn't
always
how
we
expected
to
be
or
how
he
wanted
to
turn
out,
but
it
doesn't
rip
to
defeat
us.
There
is
strength
when
we
all
unite
support
and
love
each
other,
and
because
of
this,
the
Jason
family
continues
to
survive.
The
loss
of
this
appointment.
