Description
Learn the steps to submit a project with a pull request to the Status Global Hackathon.
1. If you have a smart contract, you need to deploy it to Ropsten
2. Make your DApps and chatbots accessible on the internet with URLs
3. Add the `contact.json` and `README` files to your project, like this: https://github.com/flexsurfer/status
4. Don't forget to update your GitHub Issue RSVP description (include any challenges you faced) and team members
5. Optionally, record a max 5-minute demo video and include the link in your GitHub Issue (NOT pull request)
All this will help the judges be able to try out your project easily. When you've done all that, submit your pull request feel the sweet satisfaction of success :rocket:

first
thing
to
know
is
that,
if

using

smart
contract,

copy
contact,
JSON
and
readme
from
there
I'm

them
and

hold
all
on

keyboard
and
copy
them
over
into

project
directory

edit

Windows

Linux,

you'll
need
to
adjust
the
steps
accordingly

allowed
to
use
terminal
commands
if
you
know
how
to
do
everything
with
git
in
the
terminal.

it
up
and
there's
a
submissions
directory
I

copy
my
project
over
into
that
submissions.
When
I'm
in
the
folder
of
my
project,
I
can
press
command
up
to
go
to
the
parent
directory
and
then
I
can
drag
while
holding
option
and
it
will
copy
my
folder
in
there
we're
not
quite
ready
to
submit
our
commits.
Yet,
though,
because
we
need
to
delete
this
hidden,
get
file
that
you
see
right
here.

you
can't
see
the
hidden
get
file,
what
you'll
need
to
do
is
show
the
hidden
files
on
your
computer.
This
is
how
you're
going
to
do
that
on
a
Mac
first
open
up
terminal,
and
then
you
want
to
enter
in
this
command
default
right.

your
finder
to
do

branch

commit
ahead
of
status
master
and
you
can
go
ahead
and
press
the
new
pull
request
button
when
you
press
create
new
pull
request,
you'll
get
the
template
here.
Put
your
submission
number
in
there
and
you'll
see
it'll
automatically
populate
with
the
correct
issue
number
and
then
the
second
thing
that
I
really
recommend
you
do
is
record
a
YouTube
video.

reason
why
this
is
important
is
in
case
the
judges
can't
get
your
project
running
for
whatever
reason,
or
in
case
you
have
a
bunch
of
complex
steps
that
it's
hard
for
you
to
describe
in
your
description.
It'll
be
important
to
make
a
quick
two
minute:
video
demo
for
the
judges.
Once
you've
got
that
done,
you
can
copy
the
URL
hey.

put

inside
of
your
github
issue.
