A
Everyone
welcome
to
the
town
hall
number
64
status,
town
hall
on
august,
the
17th.
It's
going
to
be
quite
a
quick
update
today,
because
people
are
away
on
annual
leave
or
they're
out
for
a
little
bit
of
a
break
so
we'll
dive
in
and
give
you
as
much
updates
as
we
can.
A
First
up,
we've
got
a
people's
update
and
we're
going
to
have
this
presented
to
us
by
tio
so
over
to
you,
t.o.
B
Hey
everyone
nice
to
be
on
board
with
status.
It's
been
my
third
week
so
far,
but
on
the
people,
ops,
team.
What
we
want
to
announce
is
two
new
joiners
simona
pop
who
will
be
joining
the
marketing
department.
As
head
of
community
she's,
a
cryptology
has
been
with
bounty's
network
people
and
a
few
other
interesting
crypto
projects.
Johannes
walter
will
be
joining
the
finance
team
as
a
finance
manager.
B
Fortunately,
I
couldn't
find
his
photo
yesterday
on
bamboo
hr.
He
just
uploaded
it
today.
I
think
sorry
for
not
putting
your
photo
in
there,
johannes
and
in
terms
of
hiring
needs,
which
I
think
is
the
next
slide.
B
So
the
finance
team
welcomes
johannes
walker,
walker,
people
up
steam,
we're
still
looking
for
someone
to
take
over
kerry's
responsibilities,
and
I
think
we
are
close
to
making
a
decision
there,
but
the
role
is
still
open
research
team,
so
the
team
at
vac
has
two
open
seats.
Looking
for
protocol
engineers,
people
who
are
interested
in
messaging
protocols
distributed
systems
cryptography
privacy,
all
of
those
sorts
marketing
department,
simona
pope
is
heading
the
community.
B
From
now
on,
we're
still
looking
for
a
social
media
and
copywriter,
I
think
we're
getting
close
to
a
decision
there
as
there
are
three
four
people
were
quite
interesting
in
the
process
and
we're
still
looking
for
the
team.
A
status
is
still
looking
for
a
closure
developer
for
a
contract
role,
someone
to
pick
up
eric's
responsibilities
and
I
think
we're
a
need
for
one
legal
counsel
as
well.
A
Thank
you
very
much
for
your
debut
update,
tio
right
onto
core
now,
so
I
believe
we've
got
the
lovely
hester
to
give
us
an
update
for
core
over
to
you
hester.
Thank
you,
terry.
C
A
lot
happened
in
the
last
two
weeks
as
in
release,
1.5
went
out,
which
was
a
really
exciting
release
for
us,
providing
images
and
one-to-one
group
chats
audio
messages,
a
lot,
a
lot
more
yeah,
great
great
improvements.
I
would
say
so
very
excited
that
that
one
went
out.
I
believe
it
was
last
tuesday
if
you
haven't,
definitely
give
it
a
try
if
you're
not
on
auto
update.
C
Also
in
the
last
last
week,
actually,
two
weeks
ago,
we
had
a
roadmap
planning
workshop,
including
also
members
of
the
community
ambassadors
report
team
to
to
brainstorm
around
like
what
are
features
that
can
bring
retention.
We
had
some
top
candidates
of
features
or
projects
that
came
out
of
that,
for
which
we've
now
had
some
kickoff
calls.
C
C
We
were
currently
not
in
a
position
where
that
affects
the
project
itself
too
much.
Unfortunately,
it
obviously
affects
every
single
user
in
ethereum
right
now.
One
of
the
projects
that
would
actually
be
affected
is
the
referral
program
and
therefore
we
had
to
anticipate
what
might
happen
in
that
space
in
the
very
very
near
term,
because
that
that
program
is
about
to
roll
out
and
and
make
some
some
contract
changes.
Based
on
that,
so
that's
definitely
been
been
in
focus
aside
from
that
two
really
cool
features.
C
One
is
group
chat,
invite
links
which
basically
allows
you
to
send
an
invite
to
your
existing
group
chat
on
another
messaging
application.
So
if
you've
ever
had
issues
and
getting
getting
your
friends
on
on
board
it
or
trying
out
a
crypto
application,
that's
a
really
good
opportunity
to
to
do
it.
C
Once
we've
we've
released
that
it'll
come
out
soon,
because
it
basically
gives
you
like
a
single
welcoming
entry
point
you
on
board-
and
the
first
thing
you
see
is
the
the
group
chat
that
you're
already
familiar
with
so
very
excited
about
that
that
one
anna
is
working
on
that
mentions
is
another
one.
That's
in
progress
which,
obviously
the
more
people
we
get
into
the
application,
the
more
convenient
it
would
be
to
mention
someone
from
time
to
time
and
also
receive
a
notification
when
you're
mentioned.
C
So
that's
that's
work
that
roman,
took
over
from
from
eric
and
as
being
is
in
development
right
now,
as
well
as
notifications,
aldea
has
been
been
out
for
a
short
joyful
moment
for,
for
personal
reasons,
is
back
now,
and
notifications
on
ios
is
being
being
picked,
backs
up
picked
back
up,
so
can't
wait
to
see
that
as
well
planned
releases.
C
Some
some
minor
changes
there.
Also
due
to
the
changes
we
made
to
the
referral
program
to
manage
the
gas
cost
and
our
budgeting
for
that,
we
will
release
an
advertiser's
influencers
section
of
the
referral
program.
First,
that
should
should
go
out
sometime
this
week.
Let's,
let's
see
what
we
find
out,
see
how
it
goes
also
with
the
the
app
in
place
or
submissions,
which
is
always
always
a
yeah,
a
suspenseful
time.
C
I'd
say
after
that,
we
will
then
roll
out
the
other
segment
of
the
referral
program,
which
is
a
friend
a
friend,
invites
for
flow.
So
those
two
are
coming
out
as
1.671.7
release.
1.8
will
then
have
a
lot
of
the
fixes
and
improvements
that
we're
kind
of
seeing
now
the
super
urgent
fixes,
we'll
we'll,
obviously
try
and
introduce
earlier.
We
are
aware
that
you
get
a
lot
of
notification.
C
Badges
right
now,
not
push
notifications
but
batches
inside
the
application
for
messages
that
really
you've
already
seen
or
you
may
have
even
sent
yourself
so
a
fix
for
that
is
on
its
way,
but
we
we
definitely
want
to
make
sure
we
don't
build
up
too
much
technical
death,
so
we
are
working
on
a
fixer's
release
right
after
that.
What's
next,
some
of
the
things
I
already
mentioned.
C
What's
in
development
notifications
on
ios,
they
are
coming,
please
bear
with
us:
it's
not
easy
to
provide
privacy,
preserving
notification,
so
it
is
being
worked
on
group
chat.
Invite
links,
make
it
easy
for
for
you
to
invite
a
group
of
friends.
You
already
have
in
another
messaging
applications
without
having
to
kind
of
onboard
everyone
individually
and
mentions
in
chat.
So
those
are
I'd
say
the
three
larger
larger
features
coming
out.
C
Next,
to
that,
what
is
in
focus
for
the
coming
periods
are
some
of
the
features
that
came
out
of
roadmap
planning.
The
shared
workshop
that
I
mentioned
a
minute
ago.
There's
definitely
still
some
some
shifts
going
on
there
into
what
in
terms
of
what
the
focus
and
the
definition
of
those
features
will
be.
C
For
example,
we've
discussed
that,
yes,
adding
a
profile
image
is
cool,
but
at
the
same
time
you
might,
we
might
want
to
make
some
changes
to
three
word
name
default
as
well,
so
that
that's
in
motion
organization
channels
we're
coming
to
the
understanding
that
maybe
that
is
not
the
best
best
feature
to
work
on,
while
modern,
better
moderating
public
channels
is
so
there's
definitely
a
lot
in
motion
there
and
feature
definition
going
on
they're
not
set
in
stone.
C
If
you
have
any
ideas
on
what
you
believe,
the
direction
should
be
then
jump
onto
on
to
discuss,
I'm
ready
for
you
to
request
for
that.
We
always
love
seeing
those
come
in
as
well
as
in
the
app
itself,
all
right
long
story.
I
will
briefly,
if
you
don't
mind,
jumping
to
the
next
slide,
also
go
into
some
of
the
metrics
that
we're
seeing
last
week
was
exciting
for
another
reason,
it's
super
helpful.
C
If
someone
like
vitalik
supports
status
openly
and
share
some
of
the
work,
that's
that's
been
going
on
when
that
happens,
we
definitely
see
a
lot
more
interest
and
a
lot
more
interest
means
a
lot
more
communication
and
a
lot
more
to
do
in
the
application.
It's
kind
of
a
kind
of
a
self-fulfilling
prophecy
in
that
sense
as
well,
because
there
are
simply
more
people
to
talk
to
and
the
app
itself
becomes
more
more
appealing.
C
C
So
that's
the
number
of
unique
peer
ideas
that
we
that
we
see
connects
on
the
network
at
the
same
time,
we're
also
seeing
those
become
a
little
bit
less
variable.
So
that's
not
too
clear
on
this
image,
but
what
you
do
see
if
you
kind
of
look
back
on
redux.
That
is
that
I
am
over
the
past
few
months.
C
The
red
line
shows
a
lot
of
up
and
downs
to
to
quite
extreme
points
of
yeah
over
100
it's
going
up
and
down
in
in
peer
growth,
it's
becoming
a
little
bit
more
stable,
now,
converting
a
little
bit
to
like
a
little
bit
of
growth,
a
little
bit
of
less
less
growth,
but
more
more
reliable
I'd,
say
if
you
can
tap
next
slide.
C
Yet
looking
at
looking
at
this
data-
and
then
obviously
that's
that's
an
important
note-
is
we
don't
have
a
lot
of
data
to
go
on
yet
because
this
this
release
and
the
growth
is
so
recent
that,
whereas
in
the
past,
we've
seen
especially
day
20
to
almost
be
like
a
cutoff
point
of
people,
either
staying
on
the
network
and
and
retaining
for
a
much
much
longer
period
of
time,
basically
only
that
occurring
or
that
difference
being
visible
around
day
20
and
we're
now
in
that,
let's
say
day
day,
three
to
three
to
six,
more
or
less
so
we're
we're
not
seeing
too
much
data
on
retention.
C
Yet
the
data
that
we
are
seeing
is
not
showing
a
major
shift,
so
we
definitely
have
some
work
to
do
there.
Notifications
on
ios
definitely
going
to
be
a
big
deal
there,
because
what
reason
do
you
have
to
better
reason
to
open
the
app
then
getting
a
notification
that
you
have
something
to
read
like
I
mentioned,
for
example,
so
those
upcoming
changes
will
will
definitely
have
some
impact
there
and
we'll
need
to
continue
evaluating.
C
A
Thank
you
very
much
hester
that
was
really
informative
and
good
to
hear
those
updates
right
today,
we've
got
an
update
from
the
infrastructure
side
from
jacob
so
over
to
you,
jacob.
D
Hello,
after
after
a
lot
of
fussing
about
with
with
cortex,
we
finally
have
a
cortex
cluster
for
collecting
metrics
from
prometheus,
because
we
just
have
normal
instances
of
prometheus,
which
would
sometimes
lose
data
because
of
the
format
being
not
very
stable
and
we'd
have
these
gaps
of
like
several
hours
popping
up
here
and
there
because
of
prometheus
corrupting
its
own
data.
For
no
reason,
and
now
the
metrics
will
be
well
both
more
reliable
and
more,
I
guess
quicker
and
querying,
although
that
hasn't
been
fully
implemented.
D
Yet
I'm
still
trying
to
kind
of
merge
the
old
data
with
the
new
data
sure
how
to
do
that
yet.
But
this
is
good
progress
and
we
also
have
a
new
dashboards
in
grafana
for
both
cassandra,
which
is
the
storage
part
of
cortex
and
photocortex
itself,
which
is
the
orchestration
of
collecting
of
metrics
and
querying.
D
So
this.
This
will
be
a
big
improvement
for
metrics,
we'll
have
some
new
infrastructure
for
a
project,
that's
supposed
to
help
with
onboarding
of
new
users,
some
work
being
done
on
a
status
chatbot.
That
will
help
people
get
acquainted
with
the
app,
and
we
have
some
infrastructure
for
that.
D
D
In
other
news,
we've
been
seeing
some
more
small
hits
here
and
there
from
script
keys,
trying
to
find
vulnerabilities
in
sites
like
our
ghost
blog
at
ourselves.I
am
or
our
discourse,
which
I
guess
in
a
sense,
is
a
kind
of
a
sign
of
our
growing
renown
and
popularity.
Because
the
more
eyes
you
have
the
more
hatred
you
also
get.
So
this
is
perfect
normal.
D
But
for
now
I
think
you'll
have
to
sometimes
bear
with
some
either
jazz
challenges
or
or
like
picture
challenges
to
get
through,
I'm
researching
some
better
solutions,
but
for
now
this
is
how
it
has
to
be
in
order
to
not
overwhelm
the
services.
That's
well
did.
Thank
you.
A
Thank
you
for
those
updates.
Next
up,
we've
got
marketing
so
over
to
you,
johnny.
E
Thank
you
yeah,
so
here's
some
metrics
on
our
organic
traffic.
As
hester
mentioned,
we
saw
some
tweets
and
some
social
activity
from
metallic,
which
also
opened
up
conversations
with
some
other
like
high
profile
accounts
and
influencers
in
the
space.
So
no
surprise,
but
it
is
worth
noting
that
organic
traffic
to
the
status
that
I
am
went
from
around
3
000
a
day
to
you,
know
over
half
a
million
close
to
a
million
on
saturday
and
then
again
on
sunday.
E
So
it's
really
exciting,
traffic's
being
driven
and
the
conversations
happening
on
social,
which
is
fantastic,
and
so
I've
got
the
the
content
here
actually,
but
I'm
looking
at
our
status,
the
most
viewed
content
is
obviously
the
1.5
release
notes
it's
the
most
relevant,
the
audio
messages,
blog
post,
calling
out
enrico
who
the
who
is
the
ambassador
who
developed
the
feature.
So
I
also
want
to
say
kudos
to
rico
and
thank
you
for
for
being
part
of
the
community.
That's
awesome!
E
E
So
we'll
continue
to
push
this
stuff
out
like
that
and
then
looking
at
site
traffic,
obviously
landing
page
people
are
being
directed
to
the
install
page,
which
is
great
and
then
exploring
features
about
smt
utility
and
we've
got
some
updates
to
those
sections
as
well
to
optimize
them
for
install
and
just
provide
a
bit
more
information.
So
in
the
next
couple
weeks,
we'll
start
to
see
just
you
know
better
traffic
through
the
website
and
more
optimized
for
installs.
E
So
this
is
exciting
next
slide,
so
some
ongoing
work
we've
got
this
brand
campaign
going
on,
which
is
certainly
like
a
brand
lift.
You
know
conversation
on
socials
happening.
Obviously,
the
tweets
from
vitalik
and
other
influences
helps,
but
even
before
that
our
metrics
and
our
numbers
and
our
engagement
has
been
significantly
higher
and
we're
also
rolling
out
just
some
paid
elements
to
that
to
just
to
drive
more
traffic
to
the
site
and
alec
has
been
doing
a
great
job.
Getting
that
in
place,
we've
got
to
keep.
E
We've
got
phase
two
of
the
keycard
campaign,
so
you
know
just
scaling
or
refining
our
efforts
across
google
ads,
so
google
search
network
google
display
network
and
bing
ads
we've
brained
in
the
regions
in
which
we're
targeting
and
then
here
just
some
some
high
level
numbers
from
our
previous
campaign.
We
ran
a
campaign
for
five
days.
We
had
a
budget
of
a
thousand
us
dollars
and
spent
around
796..
E
We
got
you
know
good
impressions,
good
click-through
rates,
so
overall
the
campaign
was
success,
was
a
relative
success,
but
now
we're
just
refining
that
and
moving
on
with
phase
two
secure
salary
from
that
one,
there's
ongoing
content
around
1.5
and
ongoing.
You
know
partner
outreach
around
1.5.
So
that's
great.
Once
again,
this
is
just
a.
E
This
is
a
generic
sorry,
a
organic
campaign
as
we
prepare
for
the
1.6
1.7
releases
and
another
thing
we're
doing
is
just
community
outreach,
so
myself
hester
and
a
few
others,
we've
been
talking
to
a
lot
of
community
managers,
other
projects
trying
to
get
feedback
on
new
feature
development.
You
know
pitching
around
the
work
that
gary
that
barry
and
ricardo
have
done
around.
E
You
know
gasless
poland,
so
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
like
bd
efforts,
if
you
will,
which
will
hopefully
come
to
fruition
soon
upcoming,
so
we've
been
coordinating
with
hester,
andre
and
team
on
the
1.6
launch.
As
esther
mentioned,
there's
been
a
lot
of
movement
on
that
changes
to
the
gas
cost,
so
just
being
as
flexible
as
possible.
E
We've
got
you
know
global
launch
plans
with
efforts
in
latin
america
and
we've
got
some
pretty
solid
partners
lined
up
within
the
athenian
community,
so
distribution
for
that
will
be
will
be
high
and
we're
excited
for
that
one.
The
latin
america
push
is
ongoing.
We've
got
contracts
out
with
three
influencers
now,
and
the
content
from
those
influencers
will
hopefully
start
going
out
this
week.
E
We've
got
ongoing
pr
and
media
mentions
in
argentina
we're
signing
a
contract
with
the
brazilian
firm
this
week,
so
we'll
get
some
some
better
coverage
there,
working
with
local
media
in
both
argentina
and
brazil,
for
like
educational
type,
material
and
boots
on
the
ground
kind
of
community
engagement.
So
that's
exciting
we're
producing
some
developer
courses
and
we're
hosting
meetups
so
we're
just
putting
together
like
a
general
d5,
meetup
and
then
ricardo
is
actually
presenting.
E
Today,
with
the
sao
paulo
meetup
group,
he's
got
a
he's,
got
a
meetup
called
just
about
development,
so
that's
really
cool
and
kudos
to
ricardo.
Thank
you.
E
We're
going
to
roll
out
some
feature
campaigns
so,
as
mentioned
we're
updating
the
landing
pages
just
getting
those
finalized
this
week
and
and
lastly,
we're
going
to
roll
out
a
series
of
like
partner,
amas,
so
testing
out
what
an
ama
would
look
like
inside
of
a
status
public
channel
and
we're
gonna
kick
off
this
series
with
kyber
network
this
week,
coordinating
with
them
so
stay
tuned
for
more
details
on
that,
and
actually
lastly,
forgot
to
mention
it
sorry,
simon
is
simon-
has
got
a
an
evergreen
paid
campaign.
E
So
we're
just
pulling
in
enough
data
to
have
enough
we'll
put
we're
spending
enough
just
pulling
enough
data
around
to,
I
guess,
correlate
to
retention
and
metrics
there.
So
that's
it
for
me.
A
Thanks
johnny.
That
sounds
really
exciting.
Thanks
for
the
update
right
on
to
question
and
answers
and
we
have
been
receiving
quite
a
few
questions
and
we
love
receiving
them,
so
please
keep
them
coming.
We,
unfortunately
don't
have
everyone
available
to
answer
them
today.
So
whatever's
not
answered,
we
will
roll
on
to
the
next
town
halls.
So
the
one
question
today
is:
are
there
any
plans
to
bring
back
the
chaos
union
day?
A
There
isn't
anything
planned
as
yet,
but
we
will
look
into
this
and
kick
something
off
in
the
near
future.
So
please
do
watch
this
space.
So
thank
you
so
much
for
that
question.
That's
it!
For
today
the
next
town
hall
will
be
on
the
31st
of
august.
We
will
try
and
roll
over
all
the
other
questions
to
make
sure
that
there
are
people
there
to
answer
them.
