There's
that
there's
a
more
accurate
way
of
getting
the
carrington
number,
or
at
least
when
the
carrying
a
new
caddington
rotation
starts,
which
is
accurate
to
within
a
couple
minutes,
is
completely
different
piece
of
code
and
the
reason
I
/
in
the
decimal
carrington
was
like
it.
It
seemed
like
the
existing
carrington
number
was.
It
is
not
clearly
defined.
A
B
A
C
B
C
B
C
It's
a
hundred
percent
based
on
time
because
they
just
pegged
a
rotation
rate
and
mean
rotation
rate
at
a
certain
time
and
then
just
measure
just
tick
off
that
rotation
rate
once
every
cycle.
So
it's
it's
all
based
on
time,
there's
no
actual
measure
physical
measurement
that
goes
into
a
Carrington
rotation.
It's
all
just
a
timing
thing.

the
Sun

and
the
word
out
by
I
was,
is
not
acceptable,
each
other's
and
there
is
something
wrong
with
the
Carrington
rotation
number,
whether
you
know
we
need
two
of
them
like
slightly
more
accurate
definitions
or
and
just
replace
one.
What
the
other
I
don't
know,
I,
don't
work
with
Carrington
numbers
that
often
so,
and
for
the
application
I
had
in
mind.
I
really
only
wanted
to
know
when
the
Carrington
next
Paddington
invitations
started.
C
Know
that
the
Carrington
rotation
rate
in
solarsoft
is
split
up
between
the
integer
rotation
number
and
then
the
decimal
arm.
Beyond
that,
so
you
can
request
just
the
integer.
You
can
request
the
integer
plus
the
decimal
and
which
I
don't
always
seemed
a
little
hokey
to
me,
but
I
understand
why
they
do
it,
because
sometimes
you
just
need
a
vague
idea.
The
Carrington
rotation
number-
and
sometimes
you
actually
do
want
it
down
to
the
ninth
or
tenth
decimal
place
or
something
like
that.
Cancer.

C
All
so,
it
should
be
pretty
easy
to
assess
the
equal
area
projections,
for
example,
and
you
could
always
we
could
come
up
with
a
way
of
literally
remapping
a
known,
coordinate
system
between
the
different
projections
to
make
sure
that
they
all
mapped
map
on
the
same
way.
So
I
know
that's
how
I
always
checked
my
code
was
that
make
sure
it
was
reversible.

A
B
Today
is
the
best
way
to
think
about
this.
It's
just
like
they
do
a
weaver
with
his
son
entirely
and
just
think
of
I,
like
em,
in
some
kind
of
theoretical
speeds,
with
there's
just
a
bowl
Leah
and
how
dare
describe
things
in
a
bowl.
There's
no
motion
log
of
motion
node
where
the
observers
or
anything
like
that,
that
comes
in
the
WCS
right,
the
coordinate.
A
System
coordinate
is
aware
of
right.
Okay,
so
you've
got
one
coordinate
system.
Is
here
projected
cottage
right
where
your
observer
is
at
the
center
of
the
record
insisted
the
origin
of
quota
system.
It's
he.
You
predicted
Cartesian
is
a
spherical
coordinate
system
where
your
observers
at
the
middle
and
the
Sun,
the
center
of
the
solar
disk,
is
at
the
zero
line
of
longitude
and
latitude
in
the
spherical.
For

D
A
Boo,
if
you're
returning
a
actual
coordinate,
then
it
should
return
one
of
these
not
a
length.
It's
like
the
extent
of
a
box
in
like
this
box
is
a
hundred.
Our
second
wide
isn't
a
coordinate.
It's
just
a
thing:
okay.
Yes,
it
is
a
hundred
art
seconds
wide
in
some
coordinate
system.
It's
not
quite
the
same
thing.
No.
A
A
C
Think
that
would
make
a
lot
of
sense,
especially
with
with
deke
hist
coming
out
coming
out
with
data
at
some
point,
then
you're
not
too
far
future
that
there's
an
easy
way
to
integrate.
Space-Based
and
ground-based,
I
mean
its
built-in
kind
of
into
the
framework
of
whatever
coordinate,
transforms.
You're
doing
you.
A
Know
if
there's
no
reason
why
that
shouldn't
be
possible?
Okay,
I'm
looking
into
like
hooking
this
into
all
of
the
astra
buyer
corner
frames.
So
in
theory
you
should
be
transform
to
and
from
any
given
system
in
occupied,
of
which
there
are
many
as
quite
how
we
go
about
doing
that.
I,
don't
know
you
need
to
sit,
but
it's
gonna
build
a
while.
You
know.
A
Is
hooked
into
the
astral
plane
machinery,
but
there's
no
link
between
one
of
the
soda
frames
are
one
of
the
arthropod
frames
right.
So
all
of
the
individual
frames,
which
is
that
coordinate
systems
like
Helio
projective
Cartesian,
is
a
frame
there's.
No,
we
haven't
defined
a
transformation
between
one
of
our
systems
and
one
theater
profi
systems,
so
you
can't
have
a
chord
in
one
of
the
soda
frames
and
transform
it
into
icrs
in
a
trophy,
for
instance.
Oh
this.
C
C
A
That's
the
idea,
I
think
I've
worked
out
how
to
define
her
transformation
between
probably
hear
you
graphic
and
I
crs,
and
but
it's
I
don't
know
how
useful
it
would
be.
Although
I
did
find
out
that
as
to
why
custom
machinery
for
very
accurately
calculating
the
position
of
the
earth
in
icrs
coordinates.
So
if
we
could
transform
that
help
of
icrs
and
into
like
Helia,
graphic
or
seemingly
useful
I.
A
B
A
So
the
coordinate
transformations
are
mathematically
defined
in
bills,
Thompson's
paper
like
there.
Presumably
you
have
tests
for
Burke
as
well.
At
the
moment,
I
only
have
tests
that
trend
the
test.
The
transfer
that
compare
the
results
to
the
previous
on
for
implementation,
I
haven't
added
like
any
accuracy
tests
or
anything
to
the
transformations.
Yet,
okay,
that's
one
of
the
things.
That's
missing
fun.
It
doesn't
necessarily
need
to
block
this
right.
C
A
B
A
This
is
as
they
stand
at
the
moment:
they're
like
kind
of
beta
right
because
they
haven't
I,
haven't
got
full
narrative,
documentation
and
I.
Haven't
got
accuracy
test
this
off,
but
they're
still
really
useful.
Like
WCS
axis
70
WCS
axis
has
like
the
after
x.
Coordinate
system
stuffed
baked
into
it,
so
you
can
do
flipping
incredible
things
with
plotting
and
this
framework,
it's
beautiful.
A
A
C
Yeah
I
mean
what
I've
been
doing
is
trying
to
find
a
location
on
the
Sun,
with
stereo
AI,
a
ground-based
imaging
and
so
both
stereo
spacecraft,
aia
and
then
a
ground-based
h-alpha
imager.
So
that's
that's
where
I'm,
where
my
research
lies
right
now,
which
is
being
able
to
co,
define
a
point
in
three
different
viewpoints.
That
I'm
confident
is
the
same
place
on
the
Sun
and
did.
C
A
C
A
C
B
B
C
A
C
Time
I
mean
you
do
have
the
the
result.
P
angle,
the
B
angle,
the
you
know
the
time
and
so
all
of
those
are
kind
of
are
fairly
well
defined,
and
then
you
know
the
location.
You
are
on
the
earth
so
from
there
there's
there's
IDL
programs
to
just
do
all
the
appropriate
translations
and
it's
just
making
sure
that
a
that
they're,
correct
and
again
I
have
no
validation
for
them.
I
just
assume
that
they're
correct,
but
then
it
should
be
a
nice
time
to
actually
validate
them.
C
Not
I
mean
it
depends
on
what
you're
doing
really
so
I
mean
it
not
a
terrible
amount,
but
if
you're
talking
about
the
the
gong
network
you're
all
quite
close
to
the
equator,
so
it's
really
not
that
bad.
However,
if
you're
comparing
something
like
I,
don't
know,
let's
say
a
balloon
mission
in
the
Arctic
compared
to
in
a
view
on
the
equator
that
could
actually
have
something
to
do
so.
D
B
A
A
A
Heliocentric
ecliptic
coordinates.
These
origins
are
in
this
buildin
asst
of
a
center
of
the
Sun,
the
x
axis,
pointing
in
the
direction
of
the
true
heir
granades,
as
at
the
time
specified
by
the
air
chronology
review
and
the
XY
plane
plane
of
the
ecliptic
for
that
take
and
I'm
trying
to
work
out
exactly
how
to
hook.
Em,
where
to
hook
into
astra
x,
coordinates,
is
really
complicated.
A
C
I
was
actually
for
the
coordinate,
validation,
I,
wonder
if
it
would
work
to
pull
a
data
set
of
like
the
transit
of
Venus,
where
everybody
had
figured
out
where
exactly
Venus
was,
and
so
there
are
independent,
several
independent
measurements
of
where
Venus
was
and
then
you
can
just
you
can
play
with
your
heart.
Stick
too
hard
to
content
to
just
I,
don't
find
out
where
that
dark
disk
was
on
the
Sun.

B
E
Yeah
no
I'm
not
getting
a
crush
on
it
only.
It
seems
to
be
quite
clear
that
I'm
just
not
using
the
function
correctly,
but
I
can
see
millions
of
examples
of
amusing
on
a
2d
and
1d
array,
but
I'm
pyrite,
but
nothing
in
3d.
Exactly
so,
I
have
no
kind
of
reference
to
work
from
it's
worth.
Four
men
shouting
out
just
asking.
