Everybody
knows
that
the
channel
is
very
difficult
and
a
non-safe
to
vesta
for
the
vessels
to
navigate,
especially
during
the
low
tide,
many
vessels
that
have
to
wait
out
in
the
Gulf
before
the
water.
The
water
level
gets
high
enough
for
them
to
navigate
to
the
river.
Our
representative,
Chris
bras
is
was
a
friend
of
tarp
ranks,
knows
very
well
the
importance
of
the
ankylo
River
and
how
important
our
local
economy
he
worked
very
hard
to
secure
funding
for
the
small
side
for
the
in
glory
of
a
tragic.
Ladies
and
gentlemen.
A
Tonight
we
have
the
opportunity
to
have
a
presentation
to
honor
and
to
express
our
appreciation
to
the
representative.
Chris,
Rose
and
I
have
a
plaque
that
I
would
like
to
present
in
appreciation
to
representative
chris
pros
for
the
House
of
Representatives,
with
great
appreciation
for
you,
dedication
and
service
to
the
city
of
Tarpon
Springs,
and
your
leadership
in
securing
state
funding
for
the
ankle
river
dredge
project.
2018
mayor
crystal
opposes
vice
mayor
Dave,
the
Panther
Commissioner
race,
uber,
Commissioner,
Susan,
kickdown
and
Commissioner
Jack
of
car.
E
Thank
You,
mayor
and
and
and
Thank
You
commissioners
I'll,
be
brief
out
of
your
meetings
or
lengthier
Lofton
lengthier
than
ours
in
Tallahassee.
So
I'll
be
brief,
but
I
just
wanted
to
say
you
know
we
live
in
these
very
divisive
political
times,
we're
always
watching
on
television
and
there's
an
outrage
and
I.
Think
the
natural
kind
of
progression
of
that
is
that
people
get
frustrated
with
their
government.
They
get
frustrated
that
they
feel,
like
people
aren't
putting
their
heads
together
to
work
to
solve
problems
and
one
of
the
nice
things
that
I
have
liked.
E
We're
gonna
solve
it
mayor,
as
you
know,
and
the
commissioners
know
you
know
our
first
step
in
this
process
was
the
many
merchants
from
the
Sponge
Docks,
like
our
thena,
star,
duelists
and
and
Jack
and
Julie
Russell
from
from
rusty
bellies,
who
came
to
us
and
said:
hey,
look
at
we're
having
this
huge
problem
and
the
economic
impact
is
significant.
What
what
can
you
do?
We
went
to
the
County
Commission.
We
got
them
to
do
a
feasibility
study,
the
state
we
did
our
part
to
get
the
spoil
sites.
E
Then
we
got
our
friend
congressman
bill,
Arrakis
to
go
and
and
saber
rattle
and
get
the
Army
Corps
to
to
approve
the
judge,
dredge
project
so
certainly
for
the
citizens
of
Tarpon
Springs.
It's
a
great
example
of
their
leaders.
Working
together,
it's
been
at
just
an
absolute
pleasure
to
work
with
all
of
you.
Many
of
you
called
me.
Some
of
you
called
me
a
lot
during
this
process,
and
it
was
always
very,
very
welcome.
So
thank
you
so
much
for
this
I
appreciate
it.
Thank.
C
C
Some
died
weren't
Pleasant
and
you
were
very
patient
with
me
and
I
appreciate
that
and
in
the
end
you
did
you
did
you
did
you
did
you
did
improve
for
tarpon
and
I
appreciate
how
you
recognize
that
Mitch
was
a
tiered
level
effort
and
you
played
a
big
role
in
helping
secure
the
money
for
the
or
the
spoil
sites
the
hub
voters
in
Tarpon
Springs.
Don't
forget
that.
Thank
you
very
much.
Thank.
F
F
It's
you
know
to
show
how
important
we
you
know
we,
this
town
is
so
important
to
all
of
us
and
I
believe
that
you've
seen
this
now,
how
important
it
is
and
and
the
livelihood
of
our
Sponge
Docks
and
our
spin,
our
fishing
and
sponging
industry,
to
have
that
this
dredge
happen
for
us,
it's
so
important
and
vital
for
our
community.
So
you
know
thank
you
for
listening
and
for
your
hard
work
and
good
luck
to
you.
G
Thanks
Chris
I
know,
I
called
you
a
few
times.
I
appreciate
your
dedication
to
this
community
and
meeting
with
business
owners
and
us
and
and
of
course,
the
state
and
the
federal
government
came
through
too,
but
it
was
a
group
effort
and
I
think
and
I.
Thank
you
for
your
persistence
as
well,
because
we
did
have
to
go
on
to
the
next
year
to
try
to
get
this
done,
but
appreciate
your
hard
work
and
everything
you
do
for
us
and
and
good
luck.
A
H
Reiterate
the
same
thing,
thank
you
for
your
service
to
the
community
and
your
hometown
area.
It
really
means
a
lot
that
we
have
representation
up
in
Tallahassee
who
really
listens
to
the
area
where
you
live
and
where
you
call
home.
So
thank
you
for
your
help
with
this
and
all
the
business
owners
and
the
impact
that
it
makes
in
Tarpon,
Springs
I
know
it
really
does
make
a
difference
for
many
many
years
to
come
and
looking
forward
to
that
Thanks.
Thank.
A
H

B
B
A
A
A
A
Whereas
well
considerable
progress
has
been
made
in
the
fight
against
breast
cancer.
It
remains
the
most
commonly
diagnosed
cancer
in
this
and
the
second
leading
cause
of
death
among
the
women
of
the
United
States
and
what
asks
October
is
the
breast
cancer
awareness
month
and
then
you'll
campaign
to
increase
awareness
about
the
disease.
What,
as
during
this
month,
will
reaffirm
it
our
come
in
with
the
support,
breast
cancer
research
and
educate
all
citizens
about
the
risk
factors,
detection,
the
treatment
and
what
else
we
display
pink
ribbons
and
we
were
pink
clothing
pill
raise
awareness.
A
We
also
support
our
currency,
fighting
breast
cancer
to
honor
the
life
lost
in
the
disease
and
what
else
in
October
will
recognize
breast
cancer
survivors,
those
fighting
the
disease,
their
families,
our
friends
for
the
tireless
source
of
love
and
encouragement.
We
applaud
the
efforts
of
all
medical
professionals
and
researchers
working
to
find
cures
for
these
deadly
disease
and
now,
therefore,
acrylic
losses
by
virtue
of
the
authority
vested
in
me.
A
G
Whereas
the
mayor
and
commissioners
extend
a
heartfelt
thanks
where
the
continued
commitment
to
public
services
by
our
planning
director,
other
Earl
Wyler
and
our
planning
staff.
Now,
therefore
I,
it
says:
Chris,
hello,
who's
this,
but
receiver
by
virtue
of
the
authority
vested
in
the
mayor
of
Tarpon,
Springs
Florida
do
hereby
proclaim
the
month
of
October
2018
as
Community
Planning
month.
Thank.
G
Well,
you
know
that
your
well
appreciated
Heather
and
you've
made
a
huge
difference
in
the
planning
department,
since
you've
been
here
last
four
years,
yes
and
continue
to
do
a
lot
where
I
said
even
working,
weekends
and
evenings
and
and
and
our
very
hard
worker,
so
appreciate
all
the
time
that
you
put
in
and
and
how
much
you've
accomplished
in
three
years
and
what
what
you're
still
about
to
accomplish.
So
thank
you.
Heather
thank.
A
F
There
you
know
I
just
come,
come
a
long
way
since
you've
been
here
and
I,
can't
tell
you
how
much
I
appreciate
you,
you
do
so
much
for
the
community.
You
look
for
a
way
of
things
to
get
done
and
we
see
the
changes
already
happening
within
the
community
and
your
make
trying
to
make
our
life
easier
and
I.
Think
our
jobs,
easier
and
I
think
it's
working
so
I
appreciate
what
you
do
for
us
and
you
do
work
long
hours,
I
know
you're
here,
on
weekends
and
and
and
and
nights.
A
Yeah
they're
all
I
also
want
to
thank
you
for
everything
that
you've
done
in,
for
that
department,
when
you
came
was
I
will
say,
was
very
wick,
and
now
it's
probably
one
of
the
strongest
departments.
That
would
have
a
really
pleased
an
awesome
event.
Today.
I
appreciate
that
you
gave
me
all
the
information,
so
I
can
call
a
resident
who
is
interested
of
building
a
big
project.
H
J
As
I'm
pretty
sure,
all
of
you
knows
since
you've
overseen
the
Rose
Hill
Cemetery
nomination,
but
maybe
some
of
our
audience
isn't
as
familiar.
The
National
Register
of
Historic
Places
is
an
official
listing
of
significant
sites
and
properties
maintained
by
the
Department
of
the
Interior
National
Park
Service.
It
includes
districts,
building
structures
and
objects
that
have
been
identified
as
significant
in
culture,
history,
architecture,
archaeology
or
engineering.
J
Listing
in
the
National
Register
or
an
are
for
sure,
it
does
not
impose
any
obligation
on
the
property
owner
or
the
district
and
their
right
to
use
or
dispose
of
the
property.
It
does
encourage
preservation
of
significant
historical
resources
in
three
ways:
first,
by
providing
official
recognition
of
significance
and
encouraging
consideration
of
its
value
for
future
development
planning.
Second,
by
limited
protection
from
activities
involving
federal
funding,
licensing
or
assistance
that
might
result
in
damage
or
loss
of
its
historic
values
and
third,
by
making
properties
eligible
for
federal,
historic
preservation.
J
Financial
incentives,
though,
since
the
cemetery
already
belongs
to
the
city,
which
is
nonprofit
that
probably
doesn't
apply
here
now.
Bulletins
38
from
the
National
Register
is
the
guidelines
for
evaluating
and
documenting
traditional
cultural
properties.
It
defines
a
traditional
cultural
property
rtcp
as
eligible
for
inclusion
in
the
National
Register
because
of
its
association
with
cultural
practices
or
beliefs
of
a
living
community
that
are
a
rooted
in
community
history
and
be
important
in
maintaining
the
continuing
cultural
identity
of
the
community.
J
Such
examples
as
they
gave
include
locations
where
a
community
has
traditionally
carried
out
economic,
artistic
or
other
cultural
practices.
Important
in
maintaining
its
historical
identity-
and
that
is
the
case
for
the
Greek
town,
historic
district,
which
was
listed
on
the
National
Register
as
a
TCP.
J
History,
encourage
the
incorporation
of
modern
technologies
and
techniques,
techniques
in
historic
resource
survey,
including
oral
histories
and
three
expand:
the
scope
of
historic
resource
survey
beyond
architecture
to
identify
rural
and
urban
landscapes,
traditional
cultural
properties
and
other
underrepresented
resources.
Mm-Hmm.
It
also
fulfills
objective
one
be
to
identify
and
designate
traditional
cultural
properties
in
Florida
and
list
them
on
the
National
Register
of
Historic
Places.
J
That
state
booklet
also
mentions
it
a
second
time
as
it
does.
The
settlement
of
Greeks
and
tarpon
springs.
So
why
should
a
chaos
Acadia
cemetery
be
nominated
as
a
traditional
cultural
property?
Well,
first,
the
National
Register
doesn't
want
to
list
all
the
cemeteries
in
the
country,
because
every
cemetery
has
its
own
unique
and
very
interesting.
History
are
unique
to
the
place,
but
which
is
composed
of
the
histories
of
all
the
people
in
that
cemetery.
But
what
the
National
Register
wants
is
something
that
is
more
outstandingly
unique
in
the
nation
or
represents
an
important
historical
event.
J
The
most
distinctive
feature
of
Secada
cemetery
is
its
association
with
Greek,
American
history
and
culture
and
tarpon
springs.
The
city
itself
has
the
highest
percentage
of
residents
with
Greek
heritage
in
the
country
and
as
the
place
most
closely
associated
with
the
sponge
industry
in
the
country.
J
Second,
the
National
Register
is
encouraging
the
nomination
of
more
traditional
cultural
properties.
Greek
town
was
the
first
traditional
cultural
property
district,
as
I
mentioned,
to
be
listed
on
the
National
Register
and
does
serve
as
a
national
model.
Third
cicada
is
actually
part
of
the
Greek
town
cultural
complex.
We
originally
intended
to
include
it
with
the
Greek
town
nomination
as
a
non-contiguous
property,
but
we
ran
out
of
time
because
we
were
sort
of
hurried
along
because
the
state
historic
preservation
officer
at
the
time
Barbara
Matic,
was
about
to
retire.
J
J
First
of
all,
I
do
want
to
say
that
recent
interviews
with
cemetery
staff
and
an
examination
of
cemetery
records
indicates
that
Greeks
and
Greek
Americans
constitute
a
large
component
of
existing
burials
43%,
as
far
as
I
can
determine
and
also
constitute,
the
majority
of
incoming
burials.
At
this
time,
Greek
burials
are
distributed
throughout
the
cemetery,
though
some
areas
possess
a
greater
concentration
and
the
funeral
markers
often
show
different
characteristics
than
those
of
non
Greek.
Grave
markers
discernible
patterns
in
funerary,
art
and
burial
rituals
constitute
an
important
example
of
funerary
culture.
J
The
Tarpon
Springs
shares
with
Greece,
and
especially
the
Dodecanese
islands
and
I
did
go
and
investigate
cemeteries
in
Kiley
Minos
in
Athens,
also
in
Australia,
where
there
are
a
lot
of
Greek
burials,
as
well
as
some
cemeteries
in
this
country
with
Greek
burials
and
ours,
shares
many
characteristics
with
those
in
Greece,
but
it
exceeds
those
in
our
country.
Our
Australia,
in
terms
of
the
number
of
different
components
used
that
that
are
typical
of
Greece.
J
Also,
many
markers
in
cicada
reflect
a
synthesis
of
evolving
American
styles
with
Greek
cultural
elements
and
decorative
details,
and
some
aspects,
such
as
sponge,
industry,
imagery
and
and
some
imagery
on
musicians
graves
do
not
occur
elsewhere
in
the
United
States.
So
here,
for
instance,
I
wish
this
was
bigger,
but
you
can
see
there
are
many
and
I
only
have
a
couple
examples
here.
Many
graves
that
show
images
of
sponge
boats.
J
Some
grave
markers
also
show
images
of
sponge
industry
processing.
For
instance,
you
can
hardly
see
it,
but
on
the
left,
the
grave
has
an
engraving
of
of
sponge
Clippers,
which
I
was
amazed
to
find
this
photograph
of
Mike
SMO
Leo's
on
the
right
shows
him
at
the
sponge
exchange
in
front
of
one
of
the
clueless,
which
is
where
he
used
to
work
processing
the
sponges.
In
fact,
many
of
the
men
who
have
markers
in
the
yard
and
I'm
only
going
to
show
a
few
examples.
J
It
was
so
important
to
them
to
be
part
of
this
industry
that
they
incorporated
ceramic
portraits
of
themselves
in
their
diving
suits
as
Nicholas
Gillis
Petrov
Adelitas
mangos,
and
there
are
many
other
graves
that
have
engravings
of
diving
helmets
John
the
Greek,
my
Ellis
in
the
filth
Adelitas,
whom
you
probably
remember
and
I,
didn't
realize
this
at
the
time.
But
the
one
in
the
middle
Gustin
apis
is
actually
the
as
actually
Irene's,
father
and
they're
all
engraved
with
the
sponge
helmets.
J
There
are
other
kinds
of
elements
that
are
different
on
Greve
grave
Greek
grave
markers
on
the
left
is
what's
known
as
a
candle
house
in
which
candles,
and
sometimes
portraits
and
sometimes
instant
burn.
Incense
burners
are
put
in
for
the
family
to
keep
that
keep
the
candles
lighted,
the
incense
burning
and
the
image
of
the
deceased.
J
Sometimes
there's
such
a
strong
connection
of
the
deceased
with
their
native
Island
or
place
that
there's
a
map
as
there
is
with
the
Mascis
grave
in
this
case
of
Rhodes,
which
shows
the
particular
villages
that
there's
from
most
markers
the
mitai
mean
that
have
the
attribution
of
birthplace.
Of
course,
the
majority
are
from
cali
knows
those
down
at
the
bottom.
J
There
not
only
show
Greek
columns,
but
those
people
were
also
come
from
Agena
and
many
of
the
graves
such
as
the
one
to
the
right,
which
is
a
handmade
wooden
marker,
also
showed
the
Byzantine
cross
as
opposed
to
the
Latin
cross.
The
Byzantine
cross
is
there's
also
a
Greek
cross,
which
has
equal
length
arms,
but
the
Byzantine
cross
has
the
sort
of
three
protruding
parts
at
the
end
of
each
arm
of
the
cross.
J
Here
on
the
left,
it
shows
two
different
kinds
of
candle
holders:
an
older
one,
that's
being
held
from
a
metal
wire
on
the
right.
The
more
modern
kind,
which
is
in
a
red
holder
which
has
a
cross
on
the
top
and
often
the
crosses
it
for
Greek
graves
are
again
the
Byzantine
cross.
On
top
of
that
on
the
right,
this
grave
for
our
National
Heritage
Award
winner,
the
Nikita's
timorous,
also
shows
a
candle
holder
to
the
right
and
a
Byzantine
cross.
There
are
many
other
kinds
of
symbols.
J
The
grave
on
the
left,
of
course,
has
Greek
flags,
as
several
of
them
do
as
well
as
an
anchor
attached
to
it.
The
one
on
the
right
has
the
Byzantine
cross
also
has
an
incense
burner,
because
it's
that's
part
of
what
marks
Greek
graves,
both
here
and
in
Greece,
and
of
course
there
are
various
rituals
that
go
on
in
the
graveyard,
both
for
burial
and
in
memorials
times
for
the
deceased.
J
There
are
also
many
graves
that
for
Greek
musicians,
the
one
on
the
right
also
shows
what
is
another
aspect
typical
of
some
of
the
older
graves,
which
is
a
slab
of
marble,
which
is,
of
course,
one
of
the
materials
common
in
Greece.
That's
where
George
Anastasio,
who
was
the
first
Greek
choir
master
and
Greek
school
teacher
and
was
a
nationally
known
figure
who
wrote
some
of
the
first
Greek
choir
hymns
in
this
country
in
the
middle
is
Amalia
baka.
That
grave
was
lost
because
she
has
a
name
not
known
to
others.
That's
on
that
grace.
J
She
was
a
very
famous
singer
nationally
of
Greek
music
in
the
30s
40s
and
50s,
and
on
the
left
is
George
Pat's
eros,
who
was
well-regarded
everywhere
in
the
country
as
well
as
increase
more
Greek
musicians
graves.
Sometimes
we
have
bazoo
keys
engraved
on
the
graves,
such
as
with
Spiros
Cornelius
and
George
Sophos,
and
on
the
right
we
have
a
violin
for
another
musician,
taki
Demetrios.
J
Really
don't
think
it
will
hurt,
there's
no
I,
don't
know
of
any
particular
grants.
Well,
although
the
state
does
have
some
community
grants,
oriented
towards
historic
preservation
coming
out
of
the
Bureau
of
historic
preservation,
I
could
look
into
whether
that
would
be
appropriate
for
the
cemetery
it's
possible,
but
I
think
any
grant
that
you
do
go
for
for
the.
H
H
J
So
what
we're
looking
for
in
a
National
Register
nomination,
they
you
the
most
unique
aspect
to
on
which
to
nominate
this,
and
that
would
and
this
this
cemetery
I
didn't
really
say
this
before-
is
quite
unique.
In
the
country.
There
are
a
handful
of
cemeteries
associated
with
Orthodox
churches,
but
there
is
no
sir
secular
cemetery
in
the
country
that
has
this
number
of
of
graves
with
Greek
funeral
iconography
or
rituals
going
on,
or
you
know,
the
sheer
number
is
is
astonishing.
Thanks.
H
J
Just
to
answer
that
I
did
talk
about
the
founding
of
the
cemetery
and
viola
Beekman
and
the
Women's
Club,
and
so
on
and
so
forth.
I
could
put
a
couple:
I
could
mention
other
people,
but
the
argument
that
we're
making
that
would
not
add
to
the
argument
that
we're
making
and
once
something
is
on
the
National
Register.
Not
very
many
people
are
going
to
go
and
read
the
nomination,
but
it
will
just
be
recognized
for
that.
One.

I'm,
here
in
support
of
the

I
feel
like
this
goes
hand-in-hand
with
the
Greek

and
plays
right
into
the
city's
marketing
campaign
of
experience
in
Greece
in
America
I
feel
that
we
could
enhance
Cemetery

This
is
a
unique
factor
and
the
fact
that
we're
a
National

my
goodness
also
I,
feel
that
it
might

This
is
pertains
to
marking
the
roads
and
I
know
we
have
a
lot
of
older
roads
at
around
town
and
highly
trafficked
intersections,
so
I'm
encouraged
to
see
that
we're
spending
money
here
to
restriped
this
and
additional
money
with
this

Thank
you,

does

This

one
that's
not
brought

It's
just
always
brought
on
special

I
think
he
includes
some
pictures
in
the
back
up
about
some
of
the
improvements
they've
been
made,
so
the
contract
is
the
same
as
last
year,
and
especially
with
the
amount
of
events
we
have
down
there
I'd
encourage
you
to
approve
this,
as
we
have
in
past
years,.
G
Just
want
to
say
something
on
that
subject.
Yes,
thank
you,
because
I
have
not
wanted
to
improve
this
in
the
past,
but
I
do
see
that
they
made
a
lot
of
improvements
and-
and
that
was
I
felt
necessary
before
we
approved
another
year
of
budgeting
on
this
project,
so
I'm
glad
that
he
did
make
some
improvements.
Since
it
looks
a
lot
nicer,
he.
A
A
M
Good
evening,
there's
a
series
of
three
code
enforcement
cases
that
are
currently
pending
before
the
six
Judicial
Circuit
for
Pinellas
County,
one
439,
West,
Oakwood,
Street,
544,
Grand,
Boulevard
and
439
East
lemon
Street.
The
series
of
these
cases
has
not
have
not
yet
been
briefed,
however.
The
council
for
the
the
property
owner
is
looking
to
settle
all
three
code
enforcement
cases.
The
first
case
has
a
lien
with
a
payoff
of
1270
1.56
cents,
including
and
which
they
wouldn't
want
like
to
settle
for
seven
hundred
and
fifty
dollars.
M
The
second
is
thirty,
six
hundred
forty
three
dollars
and
seventy
five
cents
which
they'd
like
to
settle
for
two
thousand,
and
the
third
is
seventy
seven
hundred
twenty-five
dollars
and
ninety-six
cents
which
they
wish
to
settle
for
3750.
These
are
pretty
substantial
settlement
amounts.
The
reason
that
the
City
Attorney's
Office
is
recommending
settlement
is
because
that
we
haven't
expended
any
monies
as
of
yet
trying
to
brief
these
cases
and
bring
them
before
the
court.
M
H
D
H
M
N
H
H
H
So
that's
a
pretty
high
amount
on
what
we've
seen
overall
I
would
like
to
see
this
property
owner,
hopefully
work
with
Karen
and
working
on
her
properties
and
making
an
effort
to
contribute
to
tarpon
springs,
instead
of
really
having
an
impact
on
our
neighborhoods
in
the
neighborhoods
that
are
surrounding
areas
of
the
type
of
people
that
she
may
be
attracts
her
properties.
So
if
we
could
encourage
Karen
to
maybe
set
up
a
meeting
with
her
and
her
business
partners
or
whoever
she
works
with
I,
think
that
would
be
beneficial.
Everybody.
M
C
A
B
A
M
Yes,
this
settlement
for
administrative
straight
of
fine,
our
lien,
is
for
violations
that
date
back
I
believe
to
2003
for
this
property.
So
the
party
that
is
requesting
the
settlement
were
not
the
original
violators.
However,
the
original
lien
amount
for
the
violations
going
back.
That
far
was
over
two
hundred
and
forty
thousand
dollars.
This
property
was
foreclosed
on
in
the
new
owners,
purchased
it
at
foreclosure.
They
were
aware
of
the
fines
that
were
on
the
property,
the
liens
that
were
on
the
property
at
the
time
of
purchase.
M
They
are
coming
now
before
the
board
to
look
at
settling
it.
They
have
offered
to
settle
it
for
two
hundred
and
fifty
dollars.
However,
there's
an
additional
letter
and
addendum
from
the
property
owner
with
the
understanding
that
some
of
the
liens
like
the
utility
lien,
are
non-negotiable,
and
so
they
would
have
to
pay
that
in
full.
The
City
Attorney's
Office
is
recommending
that
these
the
lien
be
settled
for
fifty
thousand
dollars,
plus
the
administrative
process
325
and
the
non
negotiable
utility
and
abatement
liens,
which
total
1965
dollars
and
85
cents.
M
M
M
In
ministry
to
find
settlement
guidelines
that
that
we
use
for
the
city
there's
no
specific
formula,
that's
put
into
place,
we
take
into
account
the
length
of
the
violation
how
long
the
the
the
property
went
without
any
type
of
compliance,
also
the
amount
of
the
liens
that
are
on
the
property.
These
had
quite
substantial
amount,
like
I,
said
two
hundred
and
forty
thousand
for
a
period
of
two
hundred.
You
know
from
2003
until
the
code
enforcement
board
closed
out,
the
cases
and
the
the
property
came
at
the
compliance.
M
So
again
we
recommend
usually
settlement
between
twenty-five
and
thirty
percent,
of
what
the
total
fine
amount
is
in
this
case,
I
believe
it
was
around
about
twenty
seven
percent
of
what
the
the
remaining
lien
amount
was
on
the
property,
the
properties,
the
Pinetree.
Yes,
the
property.
As
far
as
we
knows
in
complaints
at
the
right
now
are.
G
A
G
A
H
O
M
D
H
I
know,
typically
in
the
past,
we've
seen
banks
or
some
one
lender,
come
to
us
and
ask
for
a
reduction
before
the
houses
finally
sold
through
foreclosure
or
something
along
those
lines.
Okay,
this
is
a
little
bit
of
a
different
situation
that
I
don't
think
I've
experienced
yet
on
the
board.
So,
okay,
I,
don't
have
any
further
questions.
A
P
P
Some
of
the
liens
are
non-negotiable,
like
abatements
lien,
because
the
city
had
some
costs
or
utility
lines
that
we
really
paid.
Some
other
are
violations
that
are
originated
from
fines
and
usually
there's
a
program
for
that
with
a
city
of
Tarpon
Springs.
So
the
idea
is,
this:
property
has
been
sitting
in
there,
let's
say,
for
example,
there's
a
roof
issue.
So
there's
a
program
the
city
wants
to
access.
The
house
assess
everything
and
make
a
deal
with
the
owner
fix
everything
else
that
my
bid
have
been
occurred.
P
Like
an
example
for
the
example
of
the
roof.
If
there
has
been
water
damage,
mold
electric
system
damaged
drywall,
all
these
kind
of
things,
so
the
city
posed,
requests
the
owner,
fix
everything
and
then
the
find
the
lien.
The
violation
he's
totally
waived
his
cancel.
Now,
why
didn't
we
apply
for
this
program?
The
thing
is
that
in
our
case,
the
violation
was
grass
overgrowth,
so
somebody
fortunately
cut
the
grass
10
years
ago
and
it
closed
violation.
So
the
the
technicality
is
now.
The
violation
is
closed.
P
We
cannot
apply
for
the
program,
but
it's
not
a
building
code.
Violation
is
the
grass,
so
there
are
not
secondary
consequences
for
that.
On
the
other
hand,
we
did
a
huge
renovation
of
the
house,
a
huge
one.
It
involved
every
permit,
so
there
are
no
chance
to
have
other
issues
on
the
house.
The
approach
was
we
look
at
the
house
and
we've
been
through
pretty
much
a
lot:
the
world's
hurricane.
Here,
my
approaching
there
was
squatters
living
in
the
house
when
we
accessed
the
house.
It
was
totally
a
disaster.
P
We
had
to
pay
for
outstanding
balance
for
water
consumption
and
power
consumption.
It
was
quite
a
lot
by
the
approach
on
this
property.
Was
why
this
property
had
been
foreclosed?
Ok,
maybe
the
previous
owner
was
struggling.
But
why
does
the
owner
let
this
house
go?
Is
there
anything
wrong
with
this
house?
And
yes,
there
was.
What
was
wrong
on
the
house.
Is
that
the
size
is
the
size
for
a
family,
but
the
interior
they're
totally
wrong.
There's
a
37
square
feet
room.
The
kitchen
is
very
small.
P
P
We
actually
had
to
resize
all
them
bedrooms
and
the
kitchen
in
order
to
have
a
family
in
there,
and
the
idea
is
that
once
there's
a
family
in
there,
everyone
could
benefit
out
of
it,
because
you
know,
of
course,
they're
gonna
keep
the
crowd
at
the
grass
God
for
the
kids
who
play,
and
we
top
that,
the
time
with
them
city
departments
and
the
the
option
at
the
time
when
we
bought
when
we
buy
the
property
at
the
foreclosure,
we
have
24
hours
to
pay.
So
it
happened
in
one
day.
Italians.
F
C
H
This
is
good
to
see
that
at
last
year
it
was
sold
in
August
of
2017
as
a
deplorable
house,
and
it
looks
like
they're
gonna
sell
it
here
pretty
soon
as
a
fully
renovated
house.
That's
encouraging
I
do
have
some
sympathy
and
that
but
I
I'm
completely
just
bewildered
and
I,
don't
understand
why
you
would
pay
a
hundred
and
fifty
thousand
dollars,
one
hundred
and
forty
thousand
dollars
for
a
house
with
almost
$200,000
worth
of
liens
against
it.
In
that
part,
I
just
can't
wrap
my
head
around
right.
H
Now
is
fifty
thousand
dollars
the
number
probably
not,
but
is
there
some
collection?
The
city
should
collect
absolutely
I'm,
not
really
sure
what
that
number
is.
This
is
a
difficult
I
think
position
for
all
of
us
to
be
in
because
we're
representing
the
city
as
a
whole
and
the
many
many
years
of
the
deplorable
situations
for
the
neighbors
for
the
neighborhood,
the
devaluation
of
the
houses
in
the
neighborhood
along
the
roads.
So.
H
I
mean
I'm
somewhere
thinking
in
mind
somewhere
between
again
there's
no
great
mathematic
equation
that
we're
running
off
of
the
application
before
us
was
that
50%
of
the
lean,
although
it
was
a
$12,000
plus
so
I
mean
my
my
thinking-
is
somewhere
between
15,000
and
20,000.
Is
my
thought
process?
I,
don't
I,
don't
know
if
that's
the
rest
of
the
board
feels
that's
respectful
for
the
rest
of
the
world.
A
City
or
this
is
why
I
asked
the
question
earlier,
asked
the
question
for
the
estate
attorney,
what
what's
the
crate
here?
What's
the
formula
that
we
use,
but
the
number,
obviously
we
don't
have
any,
but
at
the
same
time,
if
that
was
a
house,
but
somebody
purchased
a
stay
to
live
there,
the
story,
but
when
someone
buys
a
house
for
the
investment,
it
goes
that
in
look
was
he
attended
that
to
the
Prophet
before
bite,
yeah.
H
C
H
H
That
part
is
concerning
to
me
and,
like
I,
said,
I,
don't
get
it
still
why
someone
would
buy
a
house
for
the
lien,
that's
double
of
what
you're
paying
almost
or
over
what
you're
paying
for
it.
The
fact
that
was
fixed
up
and
I
just
I,
don't
know:
I
have
some
sympathy,
and
this
but
I.
Also
it's
a
bad
business
move
on
the
business
that
bought
it
I
think
totally,
but
we
still
have
to
respect
the
citizens
and
so
I
struggle
with
both
of
them,
because
I.
A
F
Mission,
a
car:
what
happens
in
these
situations
is
these
are
cold.
This
is
probably
a
flip
property
I'm
assuming
so
they're
gonna
buy
it
on
the
courtroom
on
the
courthouse
steps
for
very
minimal
amount,
they're
gonna
fix
it
up,
they're
gonna,
flip
it
and
sell
it
for
a
larger
amount.
That's
what
I'm
figuring
out
it's
going
here
going
on
here
and
they're,
aware
of
the
liens
that
are
on
this
property,
so
when
they
buy
this
they
have
to
because
it's
on
the
title.

Resolution
of
the
city
of
Turpan
Springs
Florida,
approving
application,
18
33,
requesting
site
plan,
approval
for
tarpon
turtle,
annex
to
construct
a
4,000,
280
square
foot,
1
story
office,
building
located
on
Keystone

approximately
150
feet
north
of
Lake

including

and

of

subdivision
in
the
ro
residential
office,
zoning
district,
providing
for
findings
providing
for
conditions
and
providing
for
an
effective
date.
This
is
a
quasi
judicial
proceeding,
one
in
which
the
board
of
commissioners
sits
in
a
quasi-judicial
rather
than
a
legislative
capacity.
In
a
quasi
judicial
proceeding.
M
It
is
not
the
board's
responsibility
to
make
law,
but
rather
to
apply
law
that
has
already
been
made.
If
the
board
finds
that
the
presentation
of
evidence
by
competent,
substantial
evidence
that
the
criteria
and
code
set
forth
in
the
Code
of
Ordinances
has
been
satisfied
than
it
is,
the
board
is
required
by
law
to
find
in
favor
of
the
applicant.
By
the
same
token,
if
the
evidence
presented
the
board
finds
that
the
according
to
the
law,
the
evidence
competent
substantial
evidence
presented,
does
not
meet
with
the
criteria.
M
The
board
is
required
by
law
to
find
against
the
applicant.
Are
there
any
members
of
the
board
of
commissioners
wishing
to
disclose
any
ex
parte
or
conflicts
of
interest
this
evening,
seeing
none
any
women
wishing
to
speak
this
evening
on
behalf
of
the
applicant
or
the
city
or
to
give
any
testimony?
Could
you
please
see
Anna
raise
your
right
hand
to
be
sworn
in?
Do
you
swear
or
affirm
that
the
testimony
you're
about
to
give
is
the
truth,
the
whole
truth
and
nothing,
but
the
truth
I
do
this
one.
I
Good
evening
mayor
commissioners,
Heather
Erler,
Planning
and
Zoning
director
and
staff
to
this
application.
Essentially
this
is
one
of
the
final
steps
in
the
process
of
completing
a
very
long
process
for
the
tarpon
Turtles
started
with
their
additional
parking
lot
and
has
kind
of
progressed
as
they
have
bought
additional
properties.
You
saw
this
property
not
too
long
ago
when
they
went
through
the
rezoning
process
to
rezone
it
to
ro
and
requested
a
restrictive
covenant
that
would
make
the
the
property
consistent
with
the
countywide
rules.
With
that
staff
has
looked
at
this
application
again.
I
The
tarpon
total
annex
is
developing
one
more
additional
office
building
adjacent
to
their
current
office,
location
off
of
Keystone
Road
it'll
be
accessed
through
the
existing
office.
Complex
there's,
actually
two
buildings
out
there
right
now
and
it
is
consistent
with
the
future
land
use
category.
It's
consistent
with
zoning
category.
The
the
technical
review
team
reviewed
this
and
found
that
it
was
consistent
with
the
land
development
code.
The
proposed
project
meets
the
concurrency
management
standards
of
your
comp
of
your
land
development
code
and,
again,
staff
is
recommending
approval
of
this
application.
I
The
Planning
and
Zoning
Board
heard
this
application
on
September
17
2008,
and
they
voted
unanimously
to
approve
the
application
and
staff
has
four
conditions
that
they
want
to
read
into
the
record,
which
is
part
of
the
approval
profit
of
the
proven
one.
The
developer
is
responsible
for
meeting
the
minimum
criteria
of
the
land
development
code
and
for
acquiring
all
other
jurisdictional
permits
or
required
approvals.
Any
lighting
to
be
installed
on-site
is
to
be
shielded
and
directed
internal
to
the
site.
Construction
plans
shall
be
consistent
with
the
approved
site
plan.
I
The
payment
of
all
requisite
fees
attendant
to
the
project
shall
be
paid
in
accordance
with
the
LAN
development
code
and
finally,
the
site
plan
shall
expire
at
one
year
from
the
effective
date
unless
the
applicant
has
been
has
filed
for
a
building
permit
with
construction
plans
signed
and
sealed
by
a
registered
engineer
licensed
in
the
state
of
Florida.
With
that,
I
can
answer
any
questions
that
you
might
have.
I
The
it's
been
surprisingly
quiet
out
there
for
this
application,
as
it
was
with
your
the
zoning
change.
So
no,
we
have
not
received
any
input
from
the
neighbors
on
this
particular
application.
They
were
aware
that
this
application
would
be
coming
forward
when
the
vacation
and
the
change
in
the
land
use
went
through.
H
I
Think
so,
because,
given
that
I
just
went
out
to
the
site
in
the
middle
of
the
day
yesterday
to
pull
all
the
signs
that
were
there
from
the
previous
applications
and
there
were
three
parking,
there
were
three
people
in
those
spaces.
At
this
point
in
time,
there
appears
to
be
sufficient
parking
across
the
three
properties
because
again
yeah,
you
see,
as
you
have
three
property
three
projects,
which
also
have
three
properties:
that
the
parking
will
be
a
spread
across.
Okay,.
Q
Hello,
my

like
to
think
staff
for
all
their
help
along
the
the
progress
that
we've
had
on
this
they've
been
very
helpful.
I've
really
appreciated
working
with
them.
As
we
wrap
this
up
towards
conclusion.
Q
Q
D
A
L
This
item
is
participated
by
a
by
a
letter
that
you
have
in
the
back
up
for
the
for
the
item
for
mr.
J
Danielle
staying
there
you're
going
to
step
down
from
his
position
to
the
attorney
and
asking
that
you
that
you
within
his
firm
the
point
tom
tryouts
as
the
city
attorney
the
caveat
on
that
is
because
of
his
commitment
to
trounce
commitments,
the
holes
more
in
the
same
dates
that
we
would
proceed
with
an
ordinance
to
bring
forward
to
change
our
meetings,
nice,
the
second
and
fourth
Tuesday.
L
As
you
see
in
the
ordinance
of
you,
lat
language,
the
audience
ordinance.
The
Charter
just
says
that
we
have
to
have
two
meetings
per
month.
Those
days
are
set
by
ordinance,
which
is
why
you
see
ordinance
present
for
this.
The
way
I've
laid
this
out
for
you,
since
this
is
a
to
reading
item-
is
that
we
do
the
first
reading
tonight,
the
date,
which
obviously
means
nothing
because
there's
a
second
meeting
and
then
at
your
next
meeting.
When
we
do
the
second
reading,
it
would
coincide
with
the
new
contract.
L
L
A
Right,
thank
you,
I
like
to
take
this
opportunity
to
thank
J
or
are
serving
the
seediest
people
20
for
the
past
five
years
and
appreciate
his
recommendations
to
appoint
mr.
Trask,
as
the
city
attorney
he's
very
capable.
It's
very
respect
in
the
as
an
attorney
I
know
him
personally
he's
the
riparian
and
we're
serving
the
same
Rotary
Club.
A
Of
course
she
has
a
conflict
with
the
with
our
schedule
so
going
to
change
our
schedule
to
the
second
and
fourth
Tuesday.
It's
actually
probably
going
to
work
better
for
us,
because
there
are
times
where
and
I
always
be
reviewed
by
the
Planning
and
Zoning,
and
then
the
next
day
comes
to
us
on
the
board
of
commissioners.
A
C
Just
think
that,
as
we
move
forward
with
whatever
this
board
decides,
we
as
the
board
and
I'm
speaking
just
much
to
myself
as
I'm
to
y'all
that
we
need
to
realize
that
this
is
our
city
attorney.
It's
not
the
city
manager
city
attorney,
not
staffs
to
the
attorney,
it's
our
city
attorney
and
we
need
to
make
sure
they
know
what
we
expect
of
them
as
well.
I
could
sit
here
and
list
up
all
the
things.
I
wasn't
happy
with.
With
Jay
almost
happened.
We
would.
C
I
think
we
have
the
right
to
to
to
to
to
to
do
that
as
it's
a
it's
a
chartered
position
so
when
I
spoke
with
Tom
Trask
after
this
came
about,
III
indicated
that
Erica
who's
here
tonight
was
to
be
is
only
number
two
I
don't
wish
to
have
brand-new
lawyers
or
who
I'm
sure
are
perfectly
capable,
but
being
in
it
to
being
a
good
attorney.
C
Obviously
people
get
sick
and
there's
big
patient
than
that,
and
that's
all
fine,
but
for
the
normal
basis
it
will
not
be
the
the
new
attorneys
it
will
be:
Tom,
Trask
and
or
Erika
so
I'm
very
pleased
with
that
I'm
very
thankful
that
Thomas
want
to
do
that
and
obviously
Erika
as
well
I
feel
very
comfortable
as
I
leave
this
board
here
in
April
that
that
would
be
in
place
and
and
and
to
me,
I
have
no
issue
with
changing
our
meeting
dates
me.
It's
irrelevant.
D
F
You
first
I
want
to
I
want
to
thank
Jay
for
his
service
to
the
city
of
charm
Springs.
He
has
served
as
well,
but
I
think
some
of
us
have
had
some
concerns
and
I
as
well
talk
to
mr.
Trask.
It
was
like
March
of
last
year
if
asked
him
if
he
would
consider
serving
serving
with
us
on
this
board.
But
of
course
he
had
the
conflict
of
the
same
night,
whose
Oldsmar
so.
F
I
talked
to
mark
about
him
just
briefly,
but
I
think
I
that
point
I
just
I,
let
I
just
let
it
lie
at
that
point.
But
I
know
there's
been
some
concerns
recently
again
and
you
know:
I
spoke
to
Jay
I
mean
to
to
mr.
Trask,
and
you
know
he
does
have
ties
to
the
community.
So
I
think
he'll
serve
the
board.
Well,
he
understands
tarpon
springs
and
you
know
like
I
said:
I
did
talk
to
him
recently
again
and
I
am
happy.
You
know
that
he
is
agreed
to
serve
with
us
on
this
board.
F
We
will
have
to
make
some
changes.
You
know
it.
You
know.
I
have
my
other.
My
other
Tuesdays
I
do
have
another
meeting
that
I
do
attend,
but
I
can
make
arrangements
for
that.
So
I
think
again.
I
want
to
thank
Jay
for
his
service
to
tarpon
springs,
but
I
welcome
mr.
Trask
and
I
look
forward
to
working
with
him
and
he
did
mention
to
me
as
well
about
Erica
being
backup
and
you
know,
I
agree
with
him.
I
thought
that
was
a
great
decisions.
F
Thank
you
and
welcome
and
I
look
forward
to
okay
your
next
year,
oh
and
another
thing
way
up
boy
we're
talking
about
okay,
so
you
know,
like
I,
said:
I
talked
to
mr.
Trask
last
year,
so
I
had
did
a
request
for
all
attorney
fees
that
were
being
charged
to
us
throughout
the
year,
because
we
only
have
a
retainer.
We
have
litigation
fees
and
then
we
have
code
enforcement
and
there's
so
many
other.
F
So
I
did
get
a
list
of
all
the
fees
that
we've
paid
out
because
they
represent
some
of
our
other
boards
and
whatnot
so
and
now
I'm,
looking
at
what
we
had
in
the
backup
for
what
the
other
cities
are
being
charged.
So
we
are
right
in
line
with
other
cities.
I
just
wanted
to
make
sure
that
we
weren't
overcharged
because
I
know
there's
so
much
more
than
just
like
I
said
the
retainer
fee
or
or
other
board
fees.
There's
you
know,
there's
litigation
and
whatnot.
F
So
in
2017
we
paid
a
little
over
two
hundred
ten
thousand
for
attorney
fees,
total,
so
I
thought
that
was
pretty
fair.
Like
I
said,
I
looked
at
what
the
other
just
the
retainer
fees
for
the
other
cities,
are
paying
and
we're
right
in
line
with
them,
so
I'm
comfortable
with
with
this
change
and
not
having
to
go
out
for
an
RFP
or
anything
at
this
time.
Thank
you.
Thank.
A
You
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
regardless
would
the
attorney
years
mr.
Trask
or
anybody
else.
We
if
we
unhappy
with
their
with
the
performance
of
that
attorney,
we
must
communicate
it
and-
and
it's
not
a
better
idea
to
put
that
on
the
agenda
that
way
it's
clear
to
everyone
and
they
sway
here's
kind
of
putting
it
on
the
public
comments
or
people
have
the
opportunity
to
speak.
Let's
not
just
be
given
any
surprises
throughout
the
city
attorney
and
our
because
it
won't
be
there.
A
It's
gonna,
let
them
know
how
well
he's
doing
the
other
thing
that
I
wanna
ask
mr.
Lee
Curtis
is
to
make
sure
that
the
people
be
notified
that
we're
gonna
have
we're
gonna
change
the
date
of
the
meeting.
We
can
send
Norfolk
cases
out
on
the
water
bills
as
well
as
put
it
on
the
website.
Let
everybody
know,
because
for
many
years
now,
people
are
used
to
coming
on
the
first
and
third
Tuesday
of
the
month,
and
now
we're
gonna
have
to
change
it
to
import
I.
Personally,
don't
have
a
problem.
Well,.
L
There's
several
good
things
about
the
change
in
schedule.
Now
one
is,
as
you
know,
we've
had
an
abnormal
year
with
holidays
and
stuff.
We've
probably
run
half
of
our
meetings
on
the
second
and
four
yeah
Tuesday,
which
causes
problem
plus.
The
other
advantage
is
remember
we're
in
November,
December
and
January,
and
those
are
adjusted
anyway.
So
really
the
the
nuance
to
the
public
whoa.
L
You
know
February
the
first
time
this
will
go
into
effect
will
be
February
because
we've
always
got
the
first
and
second
on
Thanksgiving
and
of
course,
Christmas
months
and
then
with
epiphany
we're
always
second
and
fourth
every
year.
So
we
have
got
three
months
because
the
first
meaning
of
effect
would
be
in
February.
So
we've
got
plenty
of
time.
If
you
approve
it
on
the
second
reading,
there's
plenty
of
time
and
it
won't
take
it,
it
will
not
take
in
effect
until
February.
So
there's
plenty
of
time
for
no
as
long.
L
A
G
I
want
to
thank
mr.
Daniel.
He
served
us
for
five
years
and
I
felt
that
he
was
fair
and
and
a
good
attorney
I
did
communicate
with
him
a
lot.
We
had
phone
conversations,
I
called
him
when
I
had
questions,
and
he
always
answered
it
was
always
there.
So
I
was
a
little
surprised
by
this,
but
I
will
go
along
with
my
colleagues
here
and
I
definitely
felt
like.
We
need
to
keep
the
same.
G
D
H
Mary
I
don't
have
any
further
convert
or
comments
from
the
ones
that
were
made
already
tonight.
I
think
I'll
just
save
any
remaining
comments
for
next
week
or
the
next
meeting,
because
I
believe
this
is
just
talking
about
moving
it
from
the
first
to
the
second,
a
third
to
the
fourth
tonight
yeah
I,
don't
have
any
problems
with
that
my
schedules
flexible
later
in
a
day.
So
thank
you.
F
B
H
A
I
Okay,
this
is
agree
on
an
agreement,
an
interlocal
agreement
between
Pinellas
County
and
the
city,
essentially
we're
in
the
process.
At
this
point,
FEMA
has
released
the
preliminary
flood
plain
Maps
for
an
update
that
they're
going
currently
through
the
process
in
coastal
communities
across
the
United
States.
Where
look
we're
seeking
funding
to
essentially
sign
on
through
this
interlocal
agreement,
to
the
contract
that
the
county
is
going
to
be
actually
working
out
with
HDR
and
another
coastal
engineering
firm
to
review
their
maps?
And
there
would.
I
We
would
then
actually
access
the
same
services
that
they're
the
counties
is
accessing
through
this
interlocal
agreement.
Not
only
would
they
be
evaluating
and
looking
at
our
maps
for
accuracy
and
any
kind
of
discrepancies,
they
would
also
assist
us
in
filing
any
kind
of
challenge
with
FEMA,
and
they
would
also
provide
services
here
for
our
local
residents
through
meetings.
I
If
people
had
questions
or
comments
or
concerns
in
tandem
with
this,
your
local
building
department
here
will
also
be
working
on
looking
at
the
maps
as
well
and
ensuring
that
there
are
accuracies
outside
of
the
coastal
plain
looking
at
the
other
side
of
the
city
and
ensuring
that
those
that
are
the
residents
that
are
in
flood
zones
are
well
protected.
With
that
this,
we
are
seeking
approval
for
a
total
sum
not
to
exceed
forty
five
thousand
seven
hundred
and
seventy
seven
dollars,
and
with
that
I
can
answer
any
questions
that
you
might
have.
A
I
A
I
Will
be
some
effect
where
some
folks
will
come
into
the
flood
zones
who
aren't
currently
in
flood
zones,
and
other
people
will
go
out
of
the
flood
zones,
but
most
of
the
changes
will
be
elevational
changes
where
they'll
be
changing
from
a
base
flood
of
eight
to
ten
or
from
you
know,
ten
to
eight.
It
depends
on
where
they're
located
again,
the
accuracy
of
the
maps
is
much
better
because
we
have
lidar
data,
which
is
an
elevational
data
model,
that's
flown
from
aerial
photography.
I
A
H
A
G
First
I
want
to
thank
for
meeting
with
me
and
going
over
all
this
I
appreciate
your
time.
It's
definitely
prudent
for
us
to
look
at
accuracies
as
well,
for
the
review
and
for
our
own
community,
so
that
we
know
that
what
team
is
doing
is
it's
going
to
work
for
us,
so
thank
you
for
doing
all
this
and
I
definitely
approve.
A
A
L
Fast
you've
seen
this
before
this
is
the
Hampton
people
and-
and
they
we
have
approved
this
before,
but
there
was
timelines
that
weren't
met,
because
so
because
of
the
timelines,
they
have
to
ask
for
it
again.
So
my
code,
you
have,
to
give
me
permission
to
negotiate
the
development
agreement
with
them
and
again
this
is
for
their
their
property
next
to
Hampton
to
have
another
hotel
there
and
stuff.
So
again,
you
seen
this
and
prove
this
before
some
timelines
weren't
met,
so
they
have
to
start
all
over
again.
L
A
Show
me
a
favor
to
see
that
we,
this
is
our
goal
to
have
more
hotels
in
Tarpon
20
years.
19
desplaines
ducks
also
to
develop
the
west
knock
when
having
you
mr.
Lucas,
can
we
appoint
a
person
to
be
the
point
of
contact
so
make
it
easier
for
them
to
get
there
yeah
the
permit
so
will
be
no
delays
to
get
this
project
going.
Yes,.
G
A
H
Manager,
if
we
could
just
encourage
them,
I'm,
not
really
sure
what,
during
this
development
proposal
agreement,
how
we
can
incorporate
the
history,
tarpon
springs
some
type
of
character,
other
than
just
a
traditional
stucco,
four
walls
and
a
flat
roof.
Any
way
we
can
encourage
and
incorporate
the
history
of
Tarpon
Springs.
A
historic
part
I
would
completely
encourage
that
that
we
communicate
that
with
the
applicants
and
the
property
owners.
I
think
that
would
do
tarpon
springs
really
well
to
see
a
nice
piece
out
in
19
I
will
do
that.
Thank
you.
A
B
H
A
R
Thank
You
mayor
I'm,
real
quick.
You
got
copying
on
an
email
from
major
young
on
September
28
concerning
what
they
call
the
road
to
hope
with
concerns
of
police
survivors,
otherwise
known
as
cops.
We
work
with
them
when
they
were
building
their
national
office
to
have
a
tile
laid
down
in
memory
of
officer
conduct.
So
we
have
the
pictures
and
everything
here,
but
it's
really
neat.
It's
just
a
great
way
to
honor
officer
conduct,
so
his
name
does
reside
on
the
roadway,
gov
hope
up
in
Washington,
DC
and
just
another
way
of
us.
M
L
Things
we
had
the
presentation
tonight
for
representative
sprows,
obviously
to
other
people
that
you
want
to
honor,
senator
Nelson
and
and
Gus
Bilirakis
are
in
rather
heated
elections
on
the
schedule.
It
has
been
very
tough
trying
to
schedule,
I,
think
we're
going
to
reach
out
to
them
and
and
maybe
tried
to
get
some
of
their
aides
baby
to
accept
it,
because,
obviously,
and
this
time
of
years
would
be
very
hard
to
schedule
them.
L
We've
been
trying
both
offices,
along
with
with
the
representative
sprows
for
three
or
four
months
and
they're,
just
busy
schedules-
it's
tough,
maybe
if
we
can
try
to
get
a
rep.
You
know
representative
from
their
office
and
stuff
to
be
here,
we'll
continue
to
try
for
that
and
try
to
get
their
kind
or
you
want
honor
their
efforts
to
also
it
looks
like
the
night
that
we've
chosen
for
the
work
session.
L
Trish,
you
know
polled
all
of
you
is
gonna,
be
Wednesday
that
the
24th
of
October
that
looks
like
the
night,
where
everybody
can
make
it
again,
I'm
gonna
half-staff,
a
lot
of
that
that
work
session
is
staff.
Talking
with
you
about
all
the
upcoming
projects.
This
year,
for
you
to
prioritize
them,
go
over
a
lot
of
things
we
talked
about.
We
talked
about
beautification,
but
it's
not
only
beautification,
but
we
want
to
talk
about
the
projects
which
ones
to
start.
L
Obviously,
we're
going
to
continue
do
a
lot
of
them
in-house
to
save
money
and
do
more
projects.
So
we
really
want
to
get
a
good
feel.
Obviously,
we've
got
money
as
of
yesterday
and
we're
moving
into
our
new
budget
year
and
we've
got
a
lot.
We've
talked
about
last
year
that
we
want
to
do
that.
We
have
the
opportunity
to
do
it
now,
because
we
have
our
new
budget.
So
a
lot
of
that
will
be
involved
in
staff
talking
with
you
together
and
talk
about
all
those
things
priority.
L
L
We
want
budgeted
for
not
only
budgeted
for,
but
now
we
can
in
effect,
and
what
is
the
order
of
that's
gonna
be
so
that's
gonna
take
up
a
predominant
of
the
meeting
and
discussion
stuff,
so
sauce
and
style
style
myself
and
you
can
come
up
with
a
game
plan
in
a
timeline,
so
we
can
pull
all
of
them
off
during
the
course
of
this
year,
so
that
dates
gonna
be
Wednesday,
the
24th
October.
Thank
you
upstairs.
F
C
C
Being
here
also
I
happily
had
we
had
est
a
a
last
week.
It
was
the
final
budget
hearing
and
it
was
the
our
meeting
for
the
month.
I
do
not
vote
in
paper
at
the
budget
because
doesn't
meet
Tarpon
standards,
but
I
was
made.
Sure
I
was
thankful
for
all
they've
done
person,
your
transportation
coming
up
here
and.
A
C
So
it
would
be
my
advice
to
not
wait
till
I'm
off
the
board
in
April
to
point
my-my-my,
my
successor,
if
the
board
Dean
that
appropriate,
not
sure
if
that's
we
can
do
that,
I
would
stay
on
through
the
end
of
my
term,
but
this
so
maybe
for
one
or
two
meetings
that
person
that
that
you
know
come
along
because
the
only
thing
they
were
not
upset
about
that
they
mentioned
that.
You
know
a
lot
of
see.
C
A
lot
of
these
cities
have
permanent
seats
and
they're
on
there
for
their
whole
entire
career
and
they
they're.
They
have
all
these
subcommittees,
and
so
they
want
there.
They
like
continuity,
and
they
were
kind
of
upset,
realized
I
was
on
there
for
like
a
year
and
a
half,
so
I
would
recommend.
Maybe
in
the
new
year,
if
we're
allowed
to
wear
the
current
board,
we
have
to
select
if
the
next
person
that
that's
gonna
serve
in
my
place,
maybe
they
attend
one
or
two
meetings
with
me.
C
A
G
A
H
Mayor
we've
got
a
lot
of
great
things
going
on
in
Tarpon
Springs,
which
it's
encouraging
to
see,
but
I
do
want
to
bring
up
one
or
two
things.
We've
had
two
casualties
on
us
19
by
pedestrians
over
the
past
two
weeks
or
so,
and
it's
heartbreaking
to
see
this
anytime
that
we
do
have
these
situations
that
happen.
My
condolences
go
out
to
the
families
who
lost
loved
ones
in
this
situation.
H
A
Thank
you.
We
still,
of
course,
our
thank
you
for
providers,
the
list
of
our
accomplishments,
those
nice
thank
you
and
I
have
some
announcements
to
make
Thursday
October
4th.
We
have
the
Sunset
Beach
concert:
that's
not
the
7
p.m.
it
yeah
where's,
the
Sunset
Beach
first
Friday
October
4th
on
PowerPoint
Avenue
that
snorted
6
p.m.
yeah
Saturday,
October
6,
some
beer
on
sponsored
by
L,
Recreation
Department
and
that
begins
to
9
a.m.
you
noon.
At
the
Oakland
River
nature
park,
tardy
October
6
is
the
night
of
the
island
punishment
giver.
