Description
A conversation about sustainability among Tarpon Springs community members! The City of Tarpon Springs Sustainability Committee is collaborating with City staff to draft a sustainability plan. This sustainability plan will guide current and future sustainability and resiliency initiatives for Tarpon Springs. An online survey is available for you to provide feedback to improve the plan. Please visit the following website to complete the survey: https://connecttarponsprings.com/sustainability.
B
Yeah
we
ran
into
some
traffic,
but
this
is
actually
a
pretty
cool
museum.
It
is,
let
me
see
awesome
thanks
a
lot.
I
really
like
the
the
sea
life
paintings
here,
that's
pretty
cool
for
me.
So
I've
been
reading
a
lot
about
sustainability.
Lately.
B
Sustainability
is
basically
meeting
the
needs
of
the
present
without
compromising
the
ability
of
the
future
generations
to
meet
their
needs.
Basic
things
like
taking
care
of
the
environment,
using
resources
wisely
reducing
waste,
conserving
water
and
reducing
greenhouse
gas
emissions.
That
sort
of
thing.
A
C
Did
you
know
that
the
city
of
tarpon
springs
has
a
sustainability
committee
made
up
of
citizens
and
they
meet
once
a
month
on
every
third
thursday
at
six
o'clock
city
hall
and
the
meetings
are
open
to
the
public,
so
you
should
check
it
out.
I
also
heard
that
they're
working
on
a
sustainability
action
plan,
no.
B
Yeah,
I
also
heard
they
have
a
new
sustainability
coordinator,
who's
working
on
the
sustainability
plan,
with
the
public
and
they'll
be
hosting
some
workshops
in
the
near
future.
I
think
they're
also
giving
a
survey
to
get
some
ideas
from
the
public
as
well.
If
you
want
to
get
involved,
that'd
probably
be
a
really
great
way
to
start.
I.
B
A
Yeah
I'd
love
to
go
to
the
workshops
and
also
go
to
the
monthly
meetings
as
well.
C
Yeah
it's
okay
tommy,
we
all
are,
but
I
mean
I
think
that
if
you
just
do
as
much
as
you
can
you're
still
making
a
positive
impact,
even
if
you
just
take
the
survey
when
you
can
or
even
attend
one
of
the
workshops
I
mean
even
if
you're
just
spreading
word
to
your
friends
and
family
and
co-workers
on
social
media,
I
think
that'd
be
a
great
way
to
get
the
word
out
and
help.
You
know
support
the
cause
of
sustainability.
B
Idea,
what
do
you
say
in
the
meantime,
we
go
grab
some
lunch
over
the
sponge
docs.
Yes,
all
right.
Let's
go.
