a

I
want

to

Members.
I

be
the
most
watched
committee
in
the
general
assembly
and
for
last
night
I
received
texts
from
across
the
state-
I
may
even
say
across
the
nation
regarding
the
gavel
incident
from
yesterday.
C
So
I'm
glad
to
report
to
the
tennesseans
and
those
watching
around
the
country
that
we
do
have
a
new
gavel,

we'll
be
able
to
proceed
with
the
business
of
the

then
number

for
the

of

D
Right,
oh
thank
you,
chairman,
you're,
very
kind.
On
this
day
in
1821,
it
was
napoleon
bonaparte,
the
former
french
ruler,
who
once
ruled
in
the
empire
that
stretched
across
europe
dies
as
a
british
prisoner
on
the
remote
island
of
saint
helena
in
the
southern
atlantic
ocean
1961,
it
was
navy
commander
alan
shepard,
who
was
launched
into
space
becoming
the
first
american
astronaut
to
travel
there.
This
suborbital
flight,
which
lasted
15
minutes
and
reached
a
height
of
106
miles
into
the
atmosphere,
was
a
major
triumph
for
the
national
aeronautics
and
space
administration.
