A
A
Pardon
me
for
being
late
again:
criminal
justice
went
up
to
the
wire
and,
thank
goodness
it's
close
by
so
oh
your
indulgence
is
I
appreciate
it.
Mr
clerk,
will
you
please
call
the
roll.
B
A
A
C
Real
quick,
I
just
wanted
to
wish
my
mother
a
happy
birthday,
my
mother's
named
after
st
patrick
she's
from
scotland
and
born
at
the
foot
of
edinburgh
castle,
and
she
turned
90
just
talked
to
her.
But
I
want
to
challenge
the
everyone
here.
Speaking
of
education,
go
read
the
history
of
st
patrick
there's,
a
nice
movie
on
youtube,
just
type
in
st
patrick
and
god
you
how
he
used
st
patrick
for
for
for
his
glory,
an
astonishing
story
of
st
patrick.
So
thank
you.
Thanks,
sherman.
A
Thank
you
for
that.
We
do
say
happy
birthday
to
your
mom.
My
mom
has
been
gone
almost
two
years
and
it's
good
to
always
remember
our
moms.
So
thank
you
for
that
reminder
too
about
st
patrick's.
It
is
an
interesting
history
lesson
and
since
we're
on
education,
let's
go,
do
it
there'll,
be
a
test?
No
or
does
anyone
else
have
personal
orders
all
right,
seeing
none
we'll
go
back
to
our
calendar
and
we
have
number
two.
I
believe
chairman
reagan,
that
one's
rolled
also
or.
D
Not
I
can
present
right
now
that
the
individual,
of
course,
because
of
code
restrictions
and
so
forth
is
not
here
to
answer
questions.
I
don't
think
there's
going
to
be
any
controversy
with
this,
so
I'd
like
to
present
it.
D
I
am
nominating
mr
charles
crowe
to
fill
a
position
on
the
textbook
review.
Commission,
mr
crowe
served
30
years
with
the
department
of
energy
finishing
up
his
career
in
oak
ridge
tennessee,
and
had
a
wide
variety
of
experiencing
from
administering
contracts
to
environmental
engineering
mitigation
of
various
nuclear
sites,
and
he
is
retired
from
that.
He
also
is
retired
a
second
time
from
a
consulting
corporation.
He
has
many
community
awards,
including
the
thousand
points
of
light
recognition
and
berea
college's
outstanding
alumnus
award.
D
D
D
A
Thank
you
for
that
explanation.
Members.
Does
anyone
have
any
questions?
Yes,
sir?
Yes,
representative,.
E
Thank
you,
madam
chair,
and
it's
not
a
question.
I
have
known
charles
crowe,
my
entire
life.
Well,
my
my
first
internship
was
under
under
his
watching
steve,
we're
in
the
same
fraternity.
He
and
his
wife
are
just
style,
stalwart
members
of
the
oak
ridge
and
and
anderson
county
community.
E
You
know
I
again
thank
you
for
bringing
his
name
forward
and
if,
if
the
representative
can't
answer
any
questions
about
them,
I'll
I'll
probably
know
the
answer.
That's
and
again,
just
just
thank
you
for
a
brief
history
of
his
accomplishments
that
go
on
and
on
beyond
that.
D
Madam
chair,
yes
chairman,
I
certainly
do
appreciate
that
endorsement
from
someone
who
knows
him
better
than
I
do
but,
like
I
said,
I
know
the
man
think
very
highly
of
him
educationally.
Like
I
said
in
the
introduction
there,
he
has
a
bachelor's
and
a
master's
and
has
been
involved
in
a
variety
of
activities
that
I
think
would
be
beneficial
on
our
textbook
review.
Commission.
A
Thank
you,
chairman
sipiki
question
bill
questions
mccomb
all
in
favor,
everybody
good
all
right.
We
will
now
be
voting
on
hjr0186,
all
in
favor,
say
aye.
Any
opposed
refers
on
to
calendar
and
rules.
A
F
Thank
you,
mr
chairman
or
madam
chairman,
I
should
say-
and
I
do
want
to
wish
everyone
a
happy
st
patrick's
day
and
and
thank
you
to
ut,
who
delivered
the
4-h
a
few
weeks
ago
that
I
saved
for
this.
So
my
husband
and
I
were
blessed
to
be
in
ireland
a
few
years
ago
for
the
saint
paddy's
day
parade
in
dublin
when
he
was
doing
some
medical
training
lived
in
waterford
ireland.
So
he
didn't
like
that
part
because
you
know,
what's
in
waterford
nice
crystal
that
he
had
to
send
back
to
the
states.
F
But
anyway
I
am
honored
today
to
bring
to
you
all
house
bill
210
and
what
210
is
about
is:
is
the
authority
to
determine
curriculum
with
the
local
education
authority
under
state
law?
Curriculum
must
be
structured
to
satisfy
state
standards
adopted
by
the
state
school
board.
F
The
lea
should
review
and
add
any
changes
at
the
beginning
of
each
semester
and
there's
several
reasons
why.
I
think
this
is
very
important
and
I
go
back
when
my
husband
and
I
were
in
college.
F
We
had
the
timetable,
a
big
catalog
and
you
had
to
go
through
and
look
when
all
your
classes
were
being
offered
what
time
and
who
was
teaching
that.
Well,
you
know,
thank
goodness,
some
some
things
have
come
up
since
we
were
living
in
the
dinosaur
age,
the
time
that
we
were-
and
it
was
very
helpful
when
my
son
and
daughter
were
attending
college
and
we
could
go
online
and
pull
up.
You
know
they
could
eat.
I
mean
they
pulled
up.
F
What
classes
were
being
offered,
what
room
it
was
in
what
professor
was
teaching
it
and
what
time?
F
So
the
legislator
passed
legislation
that
allows
a
student
to
attend
an
adjoining
lea
for
classes
that
are
not
provided
in
their
lea
district
right
now.
So
this
is
one
way
of
you
know:
parents
and
grandparents.
Knowing
I
mean
how
do
you
know
what
your
neighboring
lease
are
offering,
and
I
think
this
will
be
a
lot
easier
for
the
schools,
because
they're
not
getting
phone
calls
from
everyone
wanting
to
know.
F
Do
they
offer
this
or
offer
that
so
it's
essentially
landing
the
leas
decide,
and
I
I
just
think
it's
a
a
great
way
for
our
parents,
grandparents,
and
all
to
be
able
to
know
you
know
what
their
children
are
very
much
interested
in
and
being
able
to
take
those
classes.
Also,
so
with
that
I'll
leave
it
up
to
if
anyone's
got
any
questions
and.
A
A
Homie
item
number
four
house
bill:
487
has
been
rolled
one
week,
so
we
will
now
hear
from
chairman
zachary
on
house
bill.
G
Thank
you,
madam
chair
and
committee
members.
This
will
look
familiar
to
many
of
you.
Last
year
we
passed
this
out
of
the
education
committee
unanimously
passed
the
house
for
unanimously
passed
out
of
senate
committed
unanimously,
but
unfortunately
got
stopped
by
kovid
before
it
hit
the
senate
floor.
This
legislation
was
brought
to
me
by
a
constituent
action
of
representative
mantis's
that
was
on
ground
zero
911
as
a
first
responder,
and
I
do
think
it's
fitting
that
we're
actually
getting
to
talk
about
this
year
on
the
20th
anniversary
of
9
11..
A
Thank
you
for
that
explanation,
members.
Any
questions
chairman
sapiki.
H
H
A
Thank
you,
anyone
else
all
right.
Yes,
I
see,
I
saw
you
first
chairman.
G
A
I
G
Thank
you,
madam
chair,
correct.
It
provides
suggestions
and
I'll
just
just
quickly.
It
talks
about
providing
a
minimum,
not
minimum
of
9
minutes
and
11
seconds
of
age-appropriate
instruction
incorporating
united.
We
stand
and
never
forget
which
were
the
phrases
for
9
11
and
then
focusing
on
heroism,
patriotism
and
sacrifices
made
by
the
first
responders
and
volunteers,
who's
aided
in
the
recovery.
But
those
are
all
suggestions.
