A
Okay,
I'd
like
to
call
the
house
health
full
committee
to
order
with
clerk.
Please
take
the
role.
A
Thank
you
and
do
any
of
our
members
have
any
personal
orders
all
right,
seeing
none.
We
do
have
four
items
on
the
calendar.
We're
gonna
do
some
cleanup
here.
So
without
objection
house
bill,
2,
7,
7
8
is
off
notice
and
without
objection
house
bill
2,
7,
7
9
has
been
taken
off
notice.
A
C
And,
and
thank
you,
mr
chairman,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
I
regret
that
I
was
instructed
by
the
party
bringing
this
bill
to
me,
the
tennessee
charitable
care
network,
to
that
they
requested
that
I
take
house
bill
946
off
notice,
the
the
the
legislation
was
misrepresented
and
pulled
into
an
anti-vaccine
movement
wrongly.
C
A
D
It
it
does,
it
adds
to
it.
Okay,.
D
Or
really
just
makes
a
bill.
I
think
okay
go
ahead.
A
Let's
go
ahead
and
just
okay
drafting
code,
zero,
one,
four,
seven:
nine!
Six!
Okay!
You
have
a
motion,
a
second
okay.
You
are
recognized.
D
Thank
you.
This
m
this
bill,
as
amended,
ensures
the
right
to
the
end
of
life
visitation
during
a
disaster
or
a
public
health
emergency
for
coven
19..
The
amendment
014796
makes
the
bill
and
removes
a
specific
requirement
to
provide
a
negative
test
to
visit.
Nursing
homes
must
always
allow
indoor
visitation.
It
is
as
it
is,
a
resident's
right.
D
The
federal
government
closed
facilities
to
indoor
visitation
for
more
than
a
year
during
the
pandemic,
but
still
allowed
the
end
of
life.
Visitation
prior
to
covid,
nursing,
home
visitation
has
always
been
open.
Nursing
facilities
are
now
largely
back
to
normal
facilities,
cannot
limit
the
frequency
and
the
limits
of
the
visits
the
number
of
visitors
or
require
advanced
scheduling.
D
A
All
right
do
we
have
any
questions
on
the
amendment.
Okay,
speaker,
martial,
recognized.
E
A
A
Eyes
have
it
bill
goes
on
to
calendar
and
rules
all
right.
That
brings
us
to
the
end
of
our
calendar
and
to
the
end
of
our
work
for
the,
or
did
you
want
to
be
recognized.
E
Chairman,
terry,
I
think
I've
been
on
health
committee
with
you
since
I
first
got
elected
here,
and
I
just
want
to
tell
you-
I
always
enjoy
working
with
you
and
you
take
time
to
meet
with
members.
When
we
have
questions-
and
I
just
appreciate
your
leadership
in
the
army-
we
call
it
good
command
climate
and
we
have
it.
Thank
you.
A
Thank
you.
I
appreciate
that
and
with
that
I
would
like
to
take
a
moment
thank
the
members
of
the
committee
and
appreciate
the
committee
for
the
work
that
the
members
have
done
this
year.
You
know
we've
had
covet
impacting
our
nation
and
our
state
and
we've
had
been
in
the
midst
of
some
big
issues
that
we've
had
to
deal
with
as
a
committee,
and
I
just
want
to
thank
the
members
for
the
dedication
and
then
their
work
for
the
betterment
of
the
health
of
the
state
of
tennessee.
A
I'd
also
like
to
thank
our
committee
staff,
paris,
king
rajul,
bajoy
and
zach
brown
and
megan
dix.
I
also
like
to
thank
our
clerks,
natalie
and
alexa
like
to
thank
our
sergeant
arms,
terry
van
tries
and
thomas
woodward,
and
our
health
committee
interns,
nick
jordan
and
josh
say,
and
it's
been
an
honor
and
a
pleasure
to
work
amongst
all
you,
chairman,
ramsey
you're,
recognized.
C
C

a
a
a
huge
amount
of
work,
and
I
appreciate
you
so
much.
