part

So
as
you
can
see,
I'm
a
little
partial,
but
I
think
I've
got
the
best
committee
in
the
general
assembly
and
these
guys
work
hard
to
make
sure
we're
doing
good
work.
And
I
truly
do
appreciate
each
and
every
one
of
you,

At
this

we'll

Seeing

I'd
like
to
begin
by
sharing
some
information
with
you,
we
will
plan
on
meeting
each
tuesday
at
12
o'clock
here
in
house
hearing
room
1
unless
otherwise
stated.
I'd
also
like
to
discuss
a
few
rules
that
I
think
will
be
helpful
to
all
of
us.
The
first
is
bill.
Notices
must
be
turned
in
by
3
30
pm
each
wednesday
in
order
to
be
heard
for
the
upcoming
week
be
sure
to
submit
your
bill
notice
through
the
electronic
portal.

Amendments
must
be
filed
by
10
am
on
monday
amendments
for
wendy's
wednesday's
committee
must
be
filed
by
10
a.m.
Tuesday,
please
remember.
Amendments
must
be
submitted
electronically
to
the
house.
Local
government
committee
address
amendments
must
be
signed
and
must
be
submitted
with
electronic
correspondence
to
our
email
bills.
Passed
by
the
subcommittee
will
automatically
be
placed
on
the
next
available
full
committee
calendar.

Guest
speakers
need
to
be
a
pre-approved
by
the
chairman
no
later
than
24
hours
in
advance.
Caption
bills
must
be
approved
by
the
speaker's
office
before
being
heard
in
the
committee.
Also,
if
the
bill
opens
up
a
large
portion
of
the
tennessee
code,
sponsors
must
agree
to
send
the
bill
back
to
the
committee.
If
the
bill
passes
and
is
amended
on
the
floor
of
the
house,.

Please
be
respectful
of
others.
Please
turn
off
your
cell
phones
or
put
them
on
silent,
while
in
committee
also,
please
limit
your
texting
and
internet
browsing
while
hearing
testimony
before
the
committee,
no
live
stream
streaming
or
recording
will
be
allowed
by
members
or
by
guests
without
least
24
hours.
Prior
approval
from
the
chairman

presentations.

will
be
required.
At
least
a
24-hour
notice
to
the
chairman.
Calendars
will
be
emailed
to
your
office
each
week,
rather
than
delivered
by
hand
bill
packets
and
fiscal
amendment.
Packets
also
will
be
emailed
to
your
office
to
be
consistent
with
many
other
committees,
and
since
we
now
have
access
to
information
by
electronic
means,
hard
copies
will
no
longer
be
distributed
to
your
office.
This
will
also
help
us
in
preventing
the
spread
of
the
coping.
If
you
would
like
a
hard
copy,
please
ask
your
assistant
to
print
you
want
out.

accordance
with
house
rule
83
any
bill
or
resolution
may
only
be
calendared
three
times.
If
on
the
third
calendar,
the
bill
does
not
report
out
of
the
committee.
The
bill
will
be
placed
on
a
special
calendar
by
the
chairman
to
be
published
with
the
final
calendar.
If
and
if
that
j.
At
that
juncture,
the
bill
is
not
reported
out
of
the
committee,
then
it
shall
return
to
the
clerk's
dest
roll
call
votes.

changing
a
charter
legislation
must
be
accompanied
by
a
resolution.
This
resolution
must
be
submitted
to
the
chairman's
office
prior
to
the
committee
meeting.
This
should
wrap
up
our
business
for
today
we
will
start
hearing
bills
next
week.

non-traditional
student
at
tennessee
tech
university.
Getting
his
second
degree
in
political
science.
Married
four
kids
has
his
own
business
with
180
employees
located
in
cookeville
tennessee.
