with
our

Hearing.
No
objection,
we're
now
voting
on
house
bill,
2130,
all
in
favor,
say
aye
opposed,
say
no
eyes
have
it
house
bill
2130
moves
the
next
available
calendar
local
government.
Thank
you,
mr
chairman.
C
A
A
While
we're
waiting
on
chairman
hicks
we'll
roll
him
two
spots,
the
next
item
is
2829
by
representative
parkson.
There's
been
a
request
to
roll
this
bill
for
two
weeks.
Without
objection
we
have
a
motion.
Do
we
have
a
second?
We
have
a
motion,
a
second
to
rule
roll
this
bill,
28
29
for
two
weeks,
all
in
favor,
say
aye
opposed,
say
no
28
29's
roll
for
two
weeks.
A
B
Thank
you,
mr
chairman
members,
good
morning
house,
bill
2264
would
allow
the
development
districts
to
meet
the
requirements
using
a
new
existing
insurance
policy.
Under
current
statute,
development
districts
must
post
a
surety
bond,
which
is
designed
to
protect
against
the
possible
theft
of
public
funds.
So
this
is
duplicative
as
they
already
hold
insurance
policies
which
cover
these
potential
losses,
and
so
again,
that's
what
this
would
allow.
A
Questions
representative
calf,
you
recognize,
mr
presenter.
This
would
save
the
locals
a
lot
of
money
and
give
the
same
protection.
Is
that
correct
chairman
hicks.
A
A
B
A
Any
other
questions
or
comments
is
there
objection
to
the
question
hearing,
no
objection,
we're
voting
on
house
bill,
2232,
all
in
favor,
say
aye
aye
opposed,
say
no,
the
eyes
have
it
house
bill
2232
moves
the
next
available
calendar
local
government.
The
next
item
is
house
bill
2384
by
leader
gant.
Is
there
a
motion.
B
A
A
B
A
A
A
Right
now
about
45
percent
of
municipal
government's
audits
are
late.
The
second
part
of
this
bill
would
give
the
authority
to
the
comptroller's
office
to
allow
them
to
assist
with
preparing
data
for
their
annual
audit.
So
it's
a
pretty
straightforward
bill.
It
eliminates
outdated
unused
language
and
it
provides
a
way
to
hopefully
prevent
municipalities
from
filing
the
audits,
late,
I'll
stand
for
any
question.
Mr
chairman,
any.
