representative
chisholm,
chairman
crawford
here
leader
again
here,
chairman
helton
representative
miller,
vice
chairman
wright,
chairman
moon,
mr
chairman,
you
have
a
quorum.
A
A
Is
there
any
announcements
or
personal
orders,
seeing
none
we'll
jump
right
into
our
calendar
house
bill
2414
by
representative
smith,
got
a
proper
motion
in
the
second
on
the
bill
does
see
that
it's
got
an
amendment
yeah
thank.
C
You,
mr
chairman,
and
the
committee,
it's
a
drafting
code,
zero,
one,
three,
six,
one:
two.
A
C
Thank
you,
mr
chairman
and
members
of
the
committee.
This
is
this
bill
impacts
only
municipalities
that
are
self-funded
and,
in
this
particular
case
hamilton
county,
approached
our
delegation
with
a
situation.
That's
infrequent
but
frequent
enough
that
they
need
to
be
in
compliance.
This
bill
comes
allows,
self-insured,
municipalities
to
comply
with
subpoenas
or
court
orders
that
that
seek
hipaa
related
information
that
may
be
protected,
but
there's
you
have
to
provide
that
through
court
order,
but
there's
not
current
state
law.
That
would
create
that
framework
to
allow
this
to
happen.
D
C
Indeed,
this
is
a
the
the.
The
amendment
makes
it
permissive.
A
Do
have
a
motion.
Second,
on
the
amendment,
any
more
discussion
on
the
amendment,
seeing
none
we're
ready
to
vote
on
amendment
zero,
one.
Three,
six,
one
two
on
favor
say:
aye,
those
opposed.
No.
The
amendment
is
now
on
the
bill.
Representative
smith,
you're
recognized
on
house
bill
2414,
as
amended.
C
A
A
E
E
Some
of
our,
as
many
of
you
know,
I'm
in
the
insurance
business
as
well,
and
I
think
that
some
of
our
industry
professionals
were
offended
that
we
didn't
have
our
name
correctly
in
the
code.
So
all
we're
doing
is
adding
insurance
producer.
You
know
to
that
list
of
professional
services
that
are
already
listed
in
the
code,
so
with
mr
chairman,
that's
all
I
have
any.
