the

representative
Barrett.
D
Thank
you,
Mr
Speaker,
fellow
members.
It
is
my
privilege
to
introduce
Dr
Michael
Miller.
As
the
chaplain
of
the
day,
Pastor
Mike
came
to
First
Baptist
Church
of
Dixon
in
2012
as
an
interim
preacher,
while
the
church's
search
committee
was
tasked
to
seek
out
and
hire
a
full-time
replacement,
the
church
had
just
lost
its
longtime
leader
and
Pastor
Mike
took
the
Helm
of
a
rudderless
ship
with
a
listless
congregation.
D
D
The
Lord
knew
that
Pastor
Mike's,
brutal
honesty
and
straightforward
delivery
was
exactly
what
his
children
needed
at
that
time.
I
am
certain.
He
was
surprised
to
be
called
to
become
the
permanent
pastor
of
our
congregation
because
anyone
tried
to
earn
that
job
most
certainly
would
not
have
auditioned
with
the
same
level
of
tough
love
that
Pastor
Mike
doled
out
during
that
interim
period
amen
now,
11
years
later,
Pastor
Mike
continues
to
lead
his
congregation
with
full,
throttled
and
unbridled
truth.
D
E
E
Thank
you
for
the
work
of
our
hands.
Thank
you
for
the
enjoyment
that
comes
from
our
work.
They
are
a
gift
from
you.
Thank
you
for
daily
provisions
and
thank
you
for
your
grace
and
your
mercy,
and
your
forgiveness
today
I
ask
that
you
give
this
legislature
your
wisdom,
knowledge
and
understanding
as
they
serve
on
behalf
of
the
citizens
of
the
state
of
Tennessee
I.
Ask
that
you
might
fill
their
hearts
with
Mercy,
compassion,
Justice,
kindness
for
the
helpless
innocent
and
vulnerable,
and
also
for
the
children
in
foster
care.

I
J
K
Thank
you,
Mr
Speaker,
it's
not
going
to
be
as
good
well
here
he
is
so
I
would
like
to
honor
Jesse
chisholm's
long
run
as
a
bachelor,
and
let
everybody
know
that
that
time
is
coming
to
an
end
quickly.
He
just
got
engaged
and.
L
Thank
you,
Mr
Speaker,
hey
members.
If
I
could
have
your
attention
just
for
a
minute
woman,
one
of
our
former
members
that
served
in
the
Tennessee
General
Assembly
from
1994
to
2002
with
stansel
Ford.
He
also
had
a
four-year
career
with
ATT
28
years
on
the
Hamilton
County
Commission
15
years.
As
the
chairman
of
that
he
was
a
mentor
to
everybody
in
state
government
and
County
government
and
representative
Rick.
M
Thank
you,
Mr
Speaker
just
wanted
to
wish
my
son,
my
eldest
son
had
a
birthday
since
we
were
here
last
week
he
turned
21.
happy
birthday
to
Tyson
Williams
be
safe
thanks.
N
O
Thank
you,
Mr
Speaker,
Mr,
Speaker
I
Rise,
to
ask
that
the
members
join
me
in
a
moment
of
silence
for
two,
unfortunately,
an
untimely
depths
in
in
the
Memphis
area,
one
being
Lisa
Marie,
Presley
of
which,
whom
we
know
who
she's
related
to
and
her
contribution
another
young
lady
that
had
an
untimely
death
by
the
name
of
gangster
boo,
who
was
a
part
of
a
a
group
down
there
as
well,
so
a
moment
of
silence
for
their
family
and
their
friends
amen.
Thank
you.
P
Thank
you,
Mr
Speaker,
Mr,
Speaker
members.
Some
of
you
may
know
that
Senator
agberry's,
grandmother,
passed
I
think
it
was
yesterday
a
Monday
yesterday.
So
we
want
to
lift
her
and
her
family
up
in
prayers.
They
have
not
determined
the
service
arrangements
yet,
but
we'll
make
sure
that
everybody
in
the
in
the
house.
A
P
P
Q
Thank
you,
Mr
Speaker,
Mr,
Speaker
I
just
wanted
to
recognize
my
new
intern
Savannah
long
and
that
she
is
because
we
welcome
her
to
Nashville.
Thank
you.
F
Thank
you,
Mr
Speaker
members,
chairman
Reagan,
is
not
here
today.
Many
of
you
may
know,
or
some
may
not
know.
Last
year,
chairman
Reagan's
son
passed
away
a
soldier
who
served
in
our
Armed
Forces.
He
is
laying
him
to
rest
in
Arlington
National
Cemetery
a
rightful
place
of
a
soldier
in
our
country.
If
you'll
take
a
momentous
house,
Mr
Speaker
to
honor
him.
R
S
Lambert,
thank
you
Mr
Speaker
and,
while
we're
introducing
some
of
the
wonderful
interns
that
we
have
here
in
in
the
house
with
us,
Haley
hardcastle's
with
us
I
believe
she
is
right
up
here.
Zen
tourney,
with
the
caucus
y'all
make
her
feel
welcome.
Thank
you.
Haley.
T
U
Thank
you
Mr
Speaker,
and
this
is
more
of
a
point
of
inquiry.
I
brought
all
kinds
of
ties
and
used
clothing
articles
with
me.
This
trip
and
I
just
don't
know
what
to
do
with
them
and
I.
Don't
I
I,
don't
know
if
anyone
else
has
heard
of
anything
that
could
be
done
with
them.
So
if
you
hear,
if
you
could
stop
by-
and
let
me
know,
I
would
sure
appreciate
it.
Thank
you.
C
Or
representative
Parkinson
Deputy
Speaker
John
says
this.
C
V
Personal
orders,
so
there's
this
great
event
coming
up
here
at
the
Capitol
is
highly
anticipated
and
it
is
called.
Let
me
try
it.
Let
me
try
it
again
and
it
is
called
y'all
sound,
so
enthusiastic,
but
you
sound
beautiful.
Thank
you
ties
for
turns
it's
coming
up,
so
if
you
have
ties,
please
bring
them
to
419

to
my
desk.
Thank
you
in
advance,.
