Mr
sergeant
of
arms
invite
the
members
into
the
chamber
and
close
the
doors.
I
hereby
declare
the
house
representatives
of
the
112th
general
assembly
of
the
state
of
tennessee
now
in
session.
Will
the
members
please
stand
with
the
visitors
in
the
gallery?
Please
stand
and
remain
standing
through
the
pledge
of
allegiance
representative
keisling
will
introduce
the
chaplain
of
the
day.
Well.
Thank
you.
B
Mr
speaker,
we
are
delighted
members
to
have
the
gunner
family
with
us
today,
john
and
wife,
amanda
family
standing
up
up
above
you
there,
four
four
children,
molly
noah,
ellie
and
isaac
john-
is
he
earned
his
bs
animal
science
in
middle
tennessee
state,
followed
by
his
ms
and
education
eds,
both
in
education
at
ttu
there
in
cooper
in
o5
and
followed
in
07.
B
john's
pastor
of
our
fairview
baptist
church
there
in
fentress
county,
but
he
serves
us
a
dual
dual
role
there
in
the
county
for
us
he's
also
our
university
tennessee
extension
nation
and
is
doing
a
wonderful
job.
So,
but
the
the
reason
that
both
representative
and
I
are
here,
john-
is
a
residence.
B
He
is
a
constituent
of
representative
wendell.
B
His
work
has
him
in
our
district.
So
with
that
represent
wendell
good
morning,
everybody.
C
I
just
want
to
say
three
things
about
this
gentleman
and
the
first
thing
is:
he
loves
his
family.
If
you'll
look
to
my
left,
that's
his
wife
and
four
children
which
kelly
pointed
out
and
we
had
dinner
with
him
last
night.
This
man
is
devoted
to
his
family
and
they
love
him
and
he
loves
them
and
it's
a
pleasure
to
be
around
them,
because
it's
it's
clear
that
they're
a
tight
unit
and
they
take
care
of
each
other.
The
second
thing
I
want
to
say
about
him
is
that
he
loves
his
community.
C
Most
things
I
go
to,
certainly
if
they
involve
agriculture,
he's
there
and
he's
developed.
Oh
he's
developed,
but
he's
been
a
part
of
developing
one
of
the
biggest
it's,
not
a
stalker
program.
What's
the
right
term
background
backgrounding
pictures
counties
in
the
top
100
in
america
and
backgrounding
cattle-
I
don't
mean
a
couple
hundred
thousands
and
thousands
and
thousands
in
no
small
part
because
of
what
he's
done
and
his
job
for
the
state
of
tennessee
and
also
the
poultry
business
has
blown
out
in
a
good
way
since
he's
been
in
his
job.
C
And
finally,
he
loves
his
church
and
loves
god,
which
is
the
most
important,
and
I
wish
we
had
more
people
like
him,
because
I'm
telling
you,
if
you're
around
him
and
his
family
you'll,
get
a
very
good
feeling
about
the
future,
because
his
four
children
are
going
to
do
well
because
of
the
way
he
and
his
wife
have
raised
them.
And
with
that
I'm
glad.
D
Well,
what
a
privilege
to
be
here,
I
appreciate
you
allowing
us
to
come
had
a
little
bit
of
verse
of
scripture.
I
want
to
just
read,
and
I
hope
it
will
help
you.
The
bible
tells
us
over
in
the
book
of
luke.
Chapter
12,
except
for
unto
whomsoever
much
is
given
of
him,
shall
be
much
required
and
to
whom
men
have
committed
much
of
him.
D
They
will
ask
the
more
and
as
I
stand
here
before
you
today,
I
began
to
think
about
what
would
I
say
to
people
an
assembly
like
this,
and
I
was
in
africa
in
zambia
preaching
a
few
years
back
and
was
in
a
little
hut
where
the
mice
could
crawl
over
your
feet.
When
you
went
to
bed
at
night
and
things
like
that-
and
I
thought
lord,
why?
D
D
The
bible
tells
us
that
righteousness
exalts
a
nation,
but
sin
is
a
reproach
to
any
people.
I
urge
I
beg
and
I
pray,
and
I
encourage
my
church
to
pray
for
each
of
you
every
day.
Every
night
we
pray
for
our
leaders.
You've
got
a
lot
of
responsibility
and
don't
ever
take
that
for
granted
that
there's
people
out
there
everywhere
from
mountain
city
to
memphis.
D
He
said,
let
this
mind
be
in
you,
which
is
also
in
christ.
It
would
be
in
the
form
of
god,
find
it
not
wrongly
made
equal
to
god,
but
took
upon
himself
the
form
of
a
servant.
I'm
glad
that
the
lord
has
had
grace
toward
us
and
blessed
us
so
much.
I
hope
you
never
take
that
for
granted.
I
really
do.
I
hope
that
god
will
just
bless
you
in
all.
You
do
and
I
pray
for
your
families.
I
know
having
to
be
up
here.
D
You've
got
a
lot
on
your
mind,
but
I
really
appreciate
each
and
every
one
of
you.
Lord
knows
my
heart.
If
you
have
any
trouble,
of
course,
you
know
to
look
to
him
he's
the
way,
the
truth
and
the
life
no
man
come
unto
the
father,
but
by
him,
and
I
thank
god
for
the
privilege
and
the
honor
to
stand
with
you
folks
and
be
here
this
this
morning.
Let
us
pray
if
we
could
heavenly
father
lord.
We
thank
you
for
this
time.
This
privileged
lord
god.
D
I
pray
for
this
people
this
assembly,
lord,
that
I
stand
before
this
morning
and
we
know
it's
not
an
accident
that
you've
blessed
our
country,
our
nation,
our
state
and
these
folks
here
this
morning,
lord,
that
they
could
stand
before
us
and
represent
to
do
the
work
of
the
people.
Lord,
I
pray
god
that
you
give
them
an
open
heart.
Lord
and
a
receptive
mind
to
your
voice,
father.
I
pray
you'd
guide
them
in
the
decisions,
lord,
that
they
have
part
in
father
lord.
D
I
pray
that
you'd
help
them
to
look
unto
you
father
the
author
and
the
finisher
of
our
faith.
God
I
pray
that
you
would
touch
them
in
each
and
every
facet
of
their
life
watch
over
their
families.
Lord
reward
them
for
their
faithfulness.
Father
lord
and
I
pray
they'll
be
led
by
you
in
everything
that
they
do.
We
appreciate
you
so
much
lord.
D
We
appreciate
most
of
all
you
sending
your
darling
son
to
die
at
calvary
that
we
can
be
saved
what
a
blessing
that
is,
and
god
I
pray
that
we'd
ever
praise
you
give
you
the
honor
and
the
glory
for
everything
that
you
do
and
that
you'd
forgive
us
our
shortcomings.
Thank
you
for
everything.
Father
in
jesus
name,
amen,.
F
A
G
A
G
E
He
is
respectful,
hard-working
detail-oriented
and
extremely
ambitious,
and
whereas
tyler
goes
above
and
beyond,
in
assisting
members
and
staffers
setting
high
professional
standards
and
routinely
exceeding
them,
he
has
the
dedication
and
desire
to
be
one
of
our
very
best
and
whereas
tyler
muniz
is
demonstrated,
the
utmost
professionalism,
ability
and
integrity,
winning
the
unbridled
respect
and
admiration.
Admiration
of
his
colleagues
and
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.
Now,
therefore
be
it
resolved
by
the
house
of
representatives
112
general
assembly
of
state
tennessee.
E
G
Leader,
lambert,
thank
you,
mr
speaker,
and
I'll
tell
you
remember.
Sometimes
some
of
these
presentations
are
a
little
more
fun
than
others.
Some
are
very
somber.
Some
are
very
happy,
and
this
is
a
very
happy
occasion
and
mr
speaker,
thank
you
for
allowing
me
the
privilege
of
presenting
this
this.
This
is
really
a
presentation
from
the
speaker
in
our
entire
body.
You
know
tyler,
there's
not
a
lot.
I
can
say
here
other
than
every
single
one
of
these
folks
that
is
looking
at
you.
G
G
But
he's
never
without
a
smile,
it
doesn't
matter
what
you
ask
of
him.
It
doesn't
matter
what
job
he's
doing
it
doesn't
matter
if
it's
something
that's
the
most
unpleasant
job
or
the
best
job
he's
always
smiling,
and
does
it
with
enthusiasm
boy,
don't
you
wish.
All
of
us
would
do
that
every
single
day
and
tyler
I'll
admit
this
to
you.
G
There's
been
days
down
here
that
I
was
going
through
something
tough
and
difficult
and
really
struggling
with
an
issue
and
you'd
come
down
the
hall
with
that
smile
that
you
have
on
your
face
and
say
hey,
mr
leader,
how
are
you
doing
today
and
it
lifted
me
up-
and
I
know
everybody
in
here
feels
exactly
the
same:
you're
one
cool
guy.
We
really
appreciate
you
and
I
and
I'm
gonna
at
this
time,
read
off
who
the
other
folks
are
that
are
up
here.
G
G
H
But
but
as
a
family,
you
learn
to
love
those
personalities
and
and
love
them
for
who
they
are.
It
has
been
a
great
privilege
to
grow.
H
There's
a
few
names
that
I
would
really
like
to
to
just
put
out
there.
Homer
malone
is
one
of
them.
H
H
H
Learning
his
his
style
and
learning
to
carry
myself
and
present
myself
does
set
a
tone
for
others
to
respect
and
accept
me.
I
also
would
like
to
thank
a
great
relationship
and
a
friendship
that
I've
I've
gained
over
these
years
from
mr
joshua
church.
H
A
One
one:
second:
we
we're
gonna
have
to
move
adoption,
but
before
we
do
that
members-
let's
just
say
so-
we've
been
doing
this
tradition
where
we
honor
our
employees
since
a
while
back,
but
we've
never
done
it.
On
the
house
floor,
they
usually
do
it
at
the
around
christmas
time
with
other
staff,
and
you
all
haven't
had
the
opportunity
to
do
it.
So
we're
going
to
start
doing
this
process
where
you
can
start
honoring.
A
Honoring
our
employee
of
the
year,
so
we
all
know
who
they
are
and
recognize
them
for
the
job
that
they
do
and
like
they
say
we
are
family
and,
and
so
that's
what
family
should
do
and
that's
what
we're
gonna
do.
Thank
you
to
all
those
who
are
the
previous
ones
before
us
who
have
done
that
time
and
time
tradition
and
putting
the
house
first
and
with
that
leader.
Lambert.
A
A
A
G
I
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
Member
is
not
going
to
have
your
attention
for
a
moment.
Tennessee
lost
a
member
of
our
greatest
generation,
major
general
retired
john
singlab,
passed
away
this
week.
In
franklin.
He
was
100
years
old.
He
was
commissioned
a
second
lieutenant
in
1943
and
he's
through
our
rotc
program.
He
stood
out
that
they
put
him
in
the
office's
strategic
services,
a
special
operations
unit.
He
jumped
into
occupied
france
behind
enemy
lines
as
a
paratrooper
and
in
china,
and
also
he
served
in
world
war
ii.
I
He
did
the
same
thing
in
korea.
He
worked
behind
enemy
lines
in
china
and
north
korea,
and
also
in
vietnam.
He
ran
special
operations
unit.
He
was
an
incredible
leader
when
I
was
a
second
lieutenant.
He
was
a
legend
in
the
army
back
in
1977.,
again
major
general
singlab
passed
away
this
past
week
at
100
years
old,
and
we
have
a
house
joint
resolution
on
the
calendar
tonight
and
I
would
ask
that
all
members
please
help
honor
this
man
by
signing
in
on
the
joint
resolution
with
that.
J
J
K
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
Mr
speaker,
we
lost
one
of
our
gold
star
families
this
week.
Y'all
probably
remember
me
bringing
young
spencer
han.
He
was
just
four
when
his
daddy
got
killed
in
iraq.
His
dad
was
a
friend
of
mine
co-worker
at
nissan.
If
you
ever
go
through,
smyrna
you'll
see
a
road
named
after
him
sergeant
asbury
han
way,
but
the
mother
faith
passed
away.

J
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
I
would
like
to
withdraw
house
bill
2529
from
the
committee
in
the
house.
You've.
L
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
I
know
that
I'm
out
of
order,
but
I
want
to
take
this
opportunity
to
present
to
you
all
a
couple
of
folks
who
are
visiting
today
from
hamilton
county
in
the
blue
to
my
right,
kathy
scott,
who
runs
the
bible
in
the
schools
program
in
our
county
and
next
to
her
tricia
cohen,
who
is
the
coordinator
for
the
bible.
L
Teachers
in
the
county
bible
in
the
schools
has
been
in
operation
for
over
a
hundred
years,
providing
bible
as
an
elective
course,
as
per
all
legal
requirements
to
our
students
in
hamilton,
county
bible
in
the
schools
organization
that
I've
been
proud
to
serve
on
the
board
for
for
a
number
of
years.
It
makes
a
difference
when
our
kids
are
exposed
to
just
the
tenants
and
the
the
stories
and
just
the
knowledge
that
is
present
from
the
bible
from
a
historical
perspective,
regardless
without
religious
intent.
L
So
again
I
want
to
recognize
kathy
and
trisha
thank
them
and
all
of
those
who
have
gone
before
to
provide
education,
and
that
is
sometimes
sadly
liking
lacking
in
our
homes.
In
our
schools
in
hamilton
county,
and
I
would
say
that
those
courses
are
available
online
can
be
used
in
your
county
in
your
districts
as
well.
So
please
join
me
in
welcoming
kathy
and
trisha.
F
J
Thank
you,
mr
speaker,

F
Members,
the
new
district
maps-
I
talked
to
doug
himes
this
morning
and
asked
him
about
the
new
maps,
and
I
should
have
read
my
email
better
last
week
because
on
the
website
there's
an
interactive
map
with
the
new
districts.
If
anybody
asks
you
that's
a
good
resource,
and
I
was
glad
to
see
that
this
morning
so
go
online
and
all
those
maps
are
downloaded
to
the
website
and
thank
you,
mr
state
group.
Thank
you,
mr
hines,
for
all
y'all's
work.
M
Representative
reagan,

on

is

and
that
is
a
change
that
will
be
permanent
again
house

will
be
1,
30
p.m.
On
