2. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 3 and 4 in private.

3. The EU referendum and its implications for Scotland: The Committee will consider an initial report.

4. Work programme: The Committee will consider its work programme.

Good morning, everyone and welcome to the fourth meeting of the european and external relations committee in session 5, I'd like to remain members and the public to turn off mobile.

For instance, sure they don't interfere with the broadcasting equipment and any members using electronic devices to access committee papers during the meeting should ensure that they're switched to silent and no apologies have been received today before we proceed to the first item on our agenda, I'd like to welcome our two new members in Mahara and Stuart McMullen to the committee and I look forward to working with you. Both and I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing members, ash denim and rich crawford.

It was pleasure to work with they're both of them I'll, be it for a very short period of time and on behalf of the committee, I wish them well item a1 on the agenda is declaration of interest, so I'd like to invite M, Harper and Stuart Macmillan to declare any interests that might have the relevant to the committee's work for.

Certainly be neighbors at university I said my first course was through Socrates at Ozma's scheme and when I still going to do my masters I obtain funding from European Social Fund. Thank.
