A
Well,
hello,
everyone!
It's
amazing
to
have
you
here
in
the
eighth
session
of
this
graviton
training.
We
are
almost
two
weeks
from
finishing,
and
this
is
just
the
entry
gate
for
a
more
in-depth
participation
in
gravity
and
also
impact
on
their
multiple
communities
that
we
participate
in
that
you
participate
in
in
this.
In
this
training,
we've
had
people
from
multiple
dows,
multiple
facilitators
and
multiple
people
in
the
in
in
in
the
classroom
that
represent
multiple
communities.
A
The
only
thing
I
will
say
to
jeremy
before
passing
the
mic
to
him
is
that,
as
you
will
be,
the
host
you
will
have
to
be
sometimes
looking
for
the
people
who
is
joining
to
let
them
into
the
room.
A
Perfect
and
also
bianca
is
sharing
the
secret
word
for
today's
pop
is
all
voices
so,
please
be
sure
to
play.
B
B
The
sort
of
theme
of
this
session
is
going
to
be
a
format
that
I've
been
running
for
about
a
year
and
a
half,
and
we
call
it
the
think.
Slow
dojo
we're
very
much
inspired
as
a
practice
base
by
the
propositions
of
this
manifesto,
and
so
I'm
just
going
to
read
it.
We
are
uncovering
better
ways
of
work
of
collaborating
beyond
the
routine.
B
We
appreciate
the
value
of
questions
before
answers,
observations
before
evaluations,
change
of
perspective
before
point
of
view
and
self-reflection
before
criticism,
people
tend
to
think
fast,
and
this
can
lead
to
undesirable
effects.
The
items
on
the
left
side
facilitate
slow
thinking.
They
improve
the
quality
of
the
right
side
and
should
therefore
be
applied
consciously
and
intensively
apply
the
items
on
the
left
side.
One
time
more
than
your
intuition
tells
you
to.
B
So
when
I
first
saw
this,
I
was
like
bet:
that's
awesome:
let's
do
it
and
then
the
more
I
started
staring
at
it,
the
more
I
started
scratching
my
head
and
going
actually.
How
do
we
do
that
like?
What's
what
is
the
vibe
of
a
space
where
we
all
just
leaned
into
these
four
values
and
we
started
this
exploration
in
this
space
called
the
think,
slow,
dojo
and
let's
find
out
together.
B
So
the
first
thing
we're
going
to
do
is
figure
out
how
to
get
back
to
this
control
of
the
screen
chair.
We're
gonna
go
through
two
different
exercises
and
we're
gonna
debrief
them
pretty
heavily.
The
first
one
is
called
the
spiral
journal.
That's
gonna
help
us
sort
of
cross
the
boundary
into
this
space.
B
The
second
one
is
a
conversation
cafe.
This
is
a
super
straightforward
and
pretty
simple,
liberating
structure
and
carries
it.
I
would
say,
offers
us
the
best
glimpse
at
what
a
procedure
of
the
manifesto
for
slow
thinking
looks
like
so.
The
first
thing
you're
going
to
need
is
a
full-size
piece
of
paper,
bigger
biggest
piece
of
paper,
the
better
and
something
to
write
with.
B
I
got
lots
of
kids,
so
crayons
and
markers
are
available.
Pens,
pencils,
highlighters,
are
not
the
most
convenient
but
work
in
a
pinch.
B
And
then
what
you're
going
to
do
once
you've
got
your
gear
ready
and
if
you're
not
ready?
Quite
yet,
don't
worry
about
it
and
we're
going
to
write,
draw
ourselves
a
big
old
two
by
two
matrix,
a
large
plus
symbol.
You
can
forward
your
paper
in
half
and
then
fold
it
in
half
the
other
way.
If
you
want
to
crease
it.
B
E
B
Some
people
are
rebels,
they
like
to
put
it
in
a
quadrant
or
off
to
the
side,
wherever
you
feel
like
draw
yourself
a
concentric
spiral,
and
that
can
be
a
circular
spiral
square
spiral,
triangular
spiral,
squiggly
spiral
just
draw
yourself,
a
concentric
spiral.
We're
going
to
take
two
minutes
to
do
this
and
that's
it.
B
B
B
B
G
B
H
D
B
B
Now,
as
we're
gonna
mine,
these
different
quadrants
for
some
interesting
paradoxes,
particularly
in
quadrants
one
and
three,
you
might
notice
that
there's
some
pretty
cool
stuff
on
that
list
that
that
seems
like
it
opens
up
a
pretty
wicked
question,
and
that
is
well
well.
How
is
it
that
I,
you
know
that
that
we
get
this
thing
in
quadrant
one
while
we
also
get
this
thing
in
quadrant
three.
At
the
same
time,
what
we're
looking
for
is
a
particular
type
of
polarity
or
paradox,
where
we're
looking
for
these
complementary,
yet
opposing
forces.
B
At
the
same
time,
on
the
flip
side,
you
might
be
able
to
find
some
interesting
paradoxes
if
you
mind
quadrant
two
in
quadrant
four,
how
is
it
that
I
avoid
this
thing
and
avoid
that
thing,
something
like
skillet
and
charybdis,
and
you
know
the
rock
and
the
hard
place
that's
another
way
to
to
think
of
it.
So
what
I'd
like
to
do
is
invite
everybody
to
take
just
a
couple
moments
couple
minutes
and
see
if
you
can
find
the
most
wicked
question,
the
most
paradoxical
wicked
question
using
this
format.
B
How
is
it
that
we
are
that
we
are
a
and
z
at
the
same
time
and
to
give
you
a
concrete
example?
Let's
let
me
just
do
this
on
the
fly,
so
one
of
the
qualities
I
had
in
quadrant
one
is,
is
grounded
and
one
of
the
qualities
that
I
think
is
also
very
interesting,
is
in
quadrant.
Three
is
decisive
so
like.
How
is
it
that
I
am
grounded,
steady
and
open
and
decisive
at
the
same
time,
there's
a
polarity
in
there
that
makes
me
go.
Yeah,
grounded,
steady,
open
and
yeah.
B
This
way,
there's
something
about
those
that
just
how
am
I
supposed
to
do,
but
both
so
again
just
take
a
couple
minutes
and
if
you've
got
some
that
you'd
like
to
submit
to
the
group
dump
them
in
the
chat
or
go
weapons,
hot
open
up
your
mic
and
throw
it
into
the
space
and
see
if
you
can
can
help
inspire
one
another.
With
your
own
wicked
question,.
G
I
F
B
I
B
B
G
H
D
Yeah
when,
when
I
reflect
on
the
grounded
and
flow
this,
this
is
very
much
coming
being
sourced
from
where
I'm
at
in
my
life
right
now
and
realizing
that
I
just
go
crazy
because
I'm
like
oh
the
uncertainty,
you
know,
I
know
I'm
in
flow
and
I'm
lying
like
being
an
uncertainty
is
because
I'm
not
like
hiding
for
safety
and
and
what
I'm
finding
is
as
much
as
I'm
like,
throwing
a
tent
from
being
like.
No,
I'm
gonna
run
back
to
safety.
D
I'm
finding
that,
like
this,
it's
like
I'm
like
having
to
practice
fate
and
and
and
loving
kindness
and
and
and
having
that
in
those
around
me
finding
that
in
those
around
me
as
well,
helps
a
lot
and
yeah
to
to
see
to
be
surrounded
by
people
who
model
that
kind
of
trust
is
has
been
grounding
in
flow.
B
C
B
So
we
are
into
halfway
through
our
session
and
we
are
too
liberating
structures.
So
this
first
exercise
is
a
riff
or
a
variation
on
a
liberating
structure.
We
called
spiral
journal,
so
this
basic
pattern,
which
is
really
really
an
open
canvas
and
what
you'll
notice
about
all
liberating
structures
is,
you
know,
draw
four
quadrants,
eight
quadrants
six
quadrants,
however
many
quadrants
draw
a
spiral
and
then
do
some
silent
reflections,
typically
together
in
a
group
setting.
B
A
B
E
I
was
gonna
say
I
noticed
this
in
the
last
liberating
structure
we
tried
earlier
in
the
graviton
trainings
that
I
really
appreciated
that
I
felt
like
we
got
to
think
on
a
deeply
individual
level,
and
then
we
got
to
kind
of
come
together
and
explore
the
differences
that,
like
more
perspectives
and
the
similarities,
that
more
perspectives
grants.
So
it's
kind
of
cool
to
not
only
be
individuals
but
also
not
be
kind
of
barred
from
the
insights
of
other
people
that
I
wouldn't
necessarily
have
come
to.
B
Totally,
thank
you
for
sure.
So,
there's
like
30
people
on
this
call
and
we
just
spent
like
half
an
hour
like
journaling
together,
so
I
mean
that's
an
interesting
act.
That's
an
interesting
potential
space
and
a
dynamic
that,
like
you,
can
you
can
engage
so
the
other
question
on
the
flip
side
like
if
we
think
about
the
anti-patterns
of
like
meetings
and
just
being
together
in
groups
and
like
all
the
that
we
don't
like
that.
B
We
typically
want
to
avoid
what
parts
of
that
might
a
pattern
like
this
spiral
journal
helped
prevent
us
from
falling
into.
C
C
I
don't
know,
like
some
kind
of
the
structure
itself,
sort
of
generated
a
kind
of
space
right
just
from
the
simple
act
of
us
being
together
and
saying
you
know
we're
all
going
to
have
the
space
together.
So
that's
actually,
why
I
didn't
leave
you
see
what
I
mean,
because
it
was
a
palpable
sense
of
held
space.
You
know
for
me,
even
though
I
literally
have
done
nothing
at
all
whatsoever
to
do
with
this
this
structure.
B
I
B
All
the
way,
thank
you,
and
so
my
last
question
in
terms
of
debriefing,
is
one
that
I'd
really
just
like
to
provoke
you
with.
Could
you
use
a
pattern
like
this
that
helps,
create
and
maintain
space
for
each
other
and
helps
us
avoid
some
anxiety
that
can
come
from
being
together?
Where
might
you
be
able
to
make
use
of
a
tool
like
this
another
one's?
Yours
take
it
with
you,
but
that's
the
spiral
journal
and
on
the
flip
side,
the
same
question
to
this
pattern
of
thinking.
B
This
wicked
question
these
polarities
that
we're
looking
for
this
is
another
liberating
structure
called
wicked
questions
where
we,
this
was
a
more
organized
version
of
that,
but
there
are
less
organized
versions
of
hey
what
what
complementary
yet
opposing
forces
do
we
have
to
consider
if
we're
going
to
be
successful,
you
know
doing
whatever
we're
doing
around
that
pattern.
In
particular,
what
did
you
notice
that
thinking
in
this
way
of
looking
for
positive
polarities,
especially
make
possible-
and
I
notice
there's
some
folks
that
have
some
information
a
bit
more
about
this
in
the
chat?
F
I
feel
like
a
lot
of
time
when
we're
in
a
position
of
like
conflict
or
choice
or
problem
solving
or
whatever,
because
we're
survivorless
by
nature.
We
have
a
tendency
to
see
the
bat
and
a
practice
like
this
forces
you
to
bring
out
the
good
tooth
to
see
something
and
its
complexity
as
opposed
to
just
seeing
it
in
a
binary
sense.
You
only
can
make
sense
of
something
so
much
by
looking
at
it
halfway,
I
feel
like
so.
I
appreciate
that.
E
Yeah
sorry,
one
of
the
things
I
was
going
to
say
that
seemed
interesting
to
me
about
the
positive
polarities
of
number
three
was
that
it's
almost
like
using
google
translate
where
you
like,
translate
into
another
language
and
then
translate
it
back,
because
one
and
three
kind
of
feel
like
they're,
saying
the
same
thing,
but
you've
kind
of
flipped
them
into
the
negative
and
then
flipped
them
back
from
the
positive
which
seems
like
it
might
be
useful
for
finding
those
polarities
of
like
well.
B
Totally,
thank
you.
So
that's
the
spiral
journal.
The
bit
of
wicked
questions,
same
question
on
wicked
questions
like
where
could
you
use
this
pattern
of
containing
all
of
the
complexity,
and
you
know
looking
for
re-translating
positivity
through
two
different
lenses,
see
if
there's
an
interesting
tension
there?
B
So
you
know
I'm
sure
the
people
in
my
breakout
session
will
have
said
something
super
interesting
and
so
by
giving
myself
this
time
to
respond
to
them
and
we
can
sort
of
cross-pollinate
and
let
each
other
know
how
each
other's
influence
thinking
has
influenced
us
and
then,
after
we've
gone
around
that
second
term,
the
circle
a
second
time
we're
going
to
open
the
space
up
for
a
bit
more
of
an
unstructured
exchange
and
in
this
context,
we'll
have
about
six
minutes
for
that
unstructured
exchange.
B
Make
up
your
own
mind
and
then,
after
that,
unstructured
free
exchange
go
around
the
circle.
One
final
time:
everybody
sort
of
sharing
their
final
thought
their
takeaway.
A
synthesis
of
the
conversation
again
try
and
keep
this
at
one
minute
and
if
you
don't
feel
like
sharing
into
the
middle,
don't
feel
free
to
skip
your
turn.
So
that's
the
conversation
cafe.
Does
anybody
have
questions
about
the
procedure
of
how
the
conversation
cafe
works?.
H
B
B
Awesome,
I
think
I
left
a
link
in
the
in
the
chat
to
the
slides
for
everybody
as
well.
So
with
that
being
said,
our
prompt
for
the
conversation
cafe
is
what
is
it
for
like
like
for
you
and
thinking
and
being
in
this
mode
of
conscious
effortful
attention,
and
how
does
it
differ
from
the
norm
again?
What
is
it
like
for
you,
thinking
and
being
in
this
mode
of
conscious
effortful
attention?
B
So
what
be
spit
into
breakout
rooms
between
three
and
four
participants.
