From YouTube: W1 TE Book Club: Towards a decentralized publishing house!

Description

Thursdays from now on will be about infrastructure. Sebnum is now doing more coaching for the chapter leads, in addition to finishing chapter 4 herself. Once a chapter is finished, it’s easier for co-authors to jump in and add subsections.

24:00 - Tanner discusses the timeline for running tests. Consider a token engineering publishing house. Take a look at leanpub - you can have a bundle of books - so we could have a whole library of books that we have co-created. This summer we will work with outlier ventures. With this gitcoin grant, we already have some preliminary cadcad models, particularly the extensions and the impact analysis. We will be hiring some developers for the front-end portion of things. The core contracts are implemented but a good interface is lacking. We are performing audits on those contracts and then bounties upon release. We will also be compensating people to review our whitepaper.

Working prototype prior to TEC proprosals being voted on. We are shifting gears towards front-end development.

Co-author, open source contributions, how can we track those attributions? Create an NFT with that information inside.

Interface to moral philosophy for token engineers.

Next Thursday, invite all gitcoin supporters to the book club.

45:00 - Reaching out to publishers - The holy grail of transcending traditional publishing and distribution networks.
