um I'm really excited to be back in the swing of things. I was just complaining to eduardo and I had a one-on-one this morning and I was like. I don't think I need to do a vacation again.

It was really important for me to catch up with close people, and you know essentially my family but um yeah. I like to. I also like to um to see the tec and other initiatives move forwarding and I've missed you guys. My distractions are I'm having lunch um and I haven't been listening to. um I haven't. I also haven't been listening to music, but I'm in new york this week.

So, like my backdrop is just like holland, tunnel traffic and like uh construction sounds- and I guess I'm just enjoying that for for this week since when I go back home, it's very very quiet and I also don't know who else went so I'll pass it back to you chewie to pass on.

Well, I'm really excited about it. um um I guess my distraction is just yeah, I'm always distracted. I've been doing a lot of research, but I don't know if uh that's the most optimal use of my time.

As you know, we're in the hatch last uh stretch of the hatch- and I was listening to this concept by a youtube channel called uh medita cine, which is meditating with and then just like different characters from different movies, like meditating, with uh uh maximus from the gladiator and it's sort of like uh it draws on the soundtrack of the movie, but it makes it like.

I don't know it's very interesting concept, so I've been meditating with alexander bruce wayne like yagami uh of septimus, knows who I'm talking about and a lot of these uh soundtracks from people and uh yeah it's for work and just to get a different atmosphere, and uh I think we're all done. I don't know who else is left I'll pass it to chewie.

uh I I I will have to run to the airport after this call so yeah, um let's, uh let's start with uh our first agenda topic, which, which is the hatch nfd promote, we've been getting really good engagement on twitter, like I I I was uh very surprised that uh simon de la ruvier uh quote retweeted our uh our announcement and and mentioned that it's something that uh one of the things that uh he's excited about, and I mean we still have uh some days but uh we're about to reach our minimum goal, which really it's just like, really really exciting.

So uh uh congratulations! Everyone on this effort. uh Let's uh now that uh in in a sense we are like uh almost past that point uh I wanted to uh reach out to the community and and ask you for uh uh for help for uh retweeting this uh news about the end. The the hatch nfp uh we're gonna keep uh pushing that in in the in the following days as well as asking for uh some some um sorry I mean I missed the word.

uh um uh Sorry I I just I forgot the word, I'm sorry about that, but we're gonna ask other communities to also help us spread the word. uh I've been doing a lot with uh one hive and also uh I'm figuring out, like some some taoist help for for the next days and all of uh and most dallas like around it.

So we're gonna try to promote like the nft, because it's uh it's a great moment uh for doing this, and I just wanted to check if anybody else got uh like any ideas for for uh promoting the nft, uh but so far uh I feel that it's going uh great. So uh does anybody have some input about the uh uh the any the the hatchbot uh nfd promotion.

Okay, so for our top 10 contributors, I'll just uh put it in my screen uh for the top 10 uh contributors to the hatch, we're gonna have this uh limited edition uh hatchbot. So if you go to nft.tcommons.org, uh you can see some of the information. This is gonna, be uh the hatchbot nft and it says like minimum to participate, which is uh the position that number 10 is going to be having so the top 10 contributors. Oh wow, I hadn't seen this.

um The top 10 contributors are uh are the ones that are getting this uh nft and uh it's been generating a lot of excitement, uh uh especially like in twitter and like with the whole thing that is going on with like crypto punks and all of this. So there's some excitement around this uh around this nft. uh So, let's see, let's see if we can uh grab some attention of of people that are really like into uh expensive nfts, um so we're gonna be supporting in the following days.

uh For for for promoting this, and also uh I mean in a way also like mentioning that this is I mean this is not like a crypto punk. This is this. Nft actually shows that you made a difference that you contributed to a a legit community with uh with a legit uh objective, so we'll try to highlight this. uh These points in in the following days, and also david if uh we could have like some uh interactions around the nft, let's try to push that message.

It's like this nft actually shows that you were part of something not just that you have a bunch of money and are a whale. uh Yes griff, I'm sorry, uh no one! Oh.

That's great yeah. I just want to add that um if we're it's a great point point for getting into the like nft communities and maybe like the nft skill forest and these guys, people who are really excited about nfts, but at the same time I it's because of the like, because it basically takes a day or maybe a day and a half to get into the hatch from scratch.

uh We really need to probably promote it today tomorrow and then, like it's, probably a lower priority, or it might be too late after on thursday. You know so just like really concentrate and push on this. If, if, if we're using it to reach out to uh the nft communities, um there are people who don't have or who aren't already in the trusted seed.

uh I guess- and the other thing I would add just while I have the the mic is, it is a really cool tool, maybe even to go into the telegram groups of some of these nft focused communities and and show it there or discords and telegrams and go directly to where they hang as opposed to just like hoping.

They see it on twitter, also, tagging people uh nft focused communities, maybe like um there's some like uh also some, like you know, uh nft like for good communities too, like uh the the fight pandemics, doing good crew, and other crews like that that are uh kind of aligned with the mission, would just be especially good to tag and and promote.

Okay, let's go on uh to our next uh agenda topic, which is uh our twitter planning uh overview. uh If you, uh if you guys, have uh uh seen uh this uh recently, uh we've just been pushing like a bunch of of of content and and stuff. uh So just as a reminder, if there's anything that you would like to add, we have our our twitter planning spreadsheet and uh for the next days we have like very uh punctual activities that we want to promote. Let me get uh the agenda out.

Okay, so for uh for the rest of of our days, this is uh uh what we're gonna be promoting so uh for today, we're gonna be pushing uh some reminders about like uh how to get rap checks die uh and we're gonna push. Also the watson hatch uh content we didn't want to.

Since we we saw that that some people are maybe like lagging behind with uh with some of the basic concepts we wanted to uh push like some, some of the evergreen content, like uh as as like the most like brief and informative kind of content, so that people can catch up with some of the stuff that they they might be uh missing.

So uh the two, the two uh articles that we're pushing this this week are uh what's in hatch uh by the uh by the common stack and also we updated uh uh katie's uh article on your economy, your choice, because we realize that if we temporarily hit the second half of that article, it is really really great, as some brief content to push the ideas around participatory economics.

Although I wanted to also take the chance griff to ask you, I know that you were using on and like not participatory economics, so just that week.

I think it's so if you look at participatory economics on on wikipedia it's already a thing, that's like like more of a communist socialist vibe, and uh and so it's better not to be confused with that like if someone looks googles that you know, they'll get a bunch of social stuff which is fine. It's not like it's actually pretty close to what we're doing. But it's not it's not the right context. So uh if you, google collaborative economics, almost nothing comes up so there it is collab econ.

Collabocon, I think, is a much better framing. I did a little bit of advice process, but this would be great advice process if anyone has any objections to collabocon or um has a better suggestion, I'm down, but um I think from the initial brainstorming that we did, that that seemed to be emerges. The top contender.

I personally love it, but I don't know if someone else has some insight on this.

Yeah, I personally love it like the participatory economic, like it's so simple and so easy to understand and communicate, but yeah I might be like the the one who is uh different but yeah. That's just my opinion. I really like well.

Do you, if you, google, participatory economics and come up with something else, do you think that's a problem zap or do you feel like it's fine.

I mean yeah, I even google, it it's just like when I when I hear participatory economic, it excites me and the word you say I just didn't, remember, collaborative collaborative collaborative yeah, I mean I could get.

uh I don't know if uh uh you guys had uh the chance to check uh this uh after movie out but uh yeah like I. I just wanted to see if anybody uh had uh some opinions on this, since uh I know that this week was like super like intense and prioritizing the hatch, but I wanted to see if anybody had some kind of input on on the tc unconference after movie.

I feel that it's a great uh material to support uh our previous uh community video that we had since uh we're like more and in person in here, so we're also gonna be uh promoting this as part of like the cultural uh build identity, and if anybody has like some uh uh also some some opinions on this- or maybe I mean- maybe not changes, but uh I was just talking to manu that uh did the uh we we've been having this great uh uh feedback in in a way like maturity, let's say for uh putting together productions and reviewing like scripts and all of this, so we feel that the community is also getting more aware of like a proper production and post-production process.

I I still do wonder why twitter seems to be our one and only um social media platform that we use to. Let people know what's going on with us.

We also have our uh the the mailing list for uh the trusted seed uh chris uh and I have been uh going uh like over some, some of uh especially like, uh like the the index of the supporting material that we can send out with these uh mailing list. uh However, like we, we knew that it was uh kind of like a a more like limited resource, because we didn't want to uh like spam people or that they get this uh sense.

So it's something that we've been also like, really careful and, and also we've been uh reaching out to other communities like in a more uh personal way. So this is what uh has been going on with one hype, for example, and and mostly also the the the common stack um and and uh regarding uh what you uh so sorry. What what? uh What? Yeah, the idea is like uh if you incomes would need, I don't know like uh some support from. Like I don't know like me, one iv, anyone make some tweets.

Yes, yes um or either, uh maybe engage uh more with the tweets like just to get more engagement like if there's some guidelines or.

Okay, uh we like we are also like aware, like we don't want to like over overuse the like the retweet uh card, because uh we know that, like it might actually uh like, weaken like the the campaign in a way, but most of the important stuff uh that we're focusing on is uh the stuff that we post on amplify and also uh ivy, has been sending some uh twitter links to the uh to the telegram uh group.

So uh all of everything that we post, either in amplify or or the telegram group uh could use a lot of help with uh retweets, although I would encourage uh everyone here to just uh to to use like their own criteria so that we don't like uh like over spam. Actually, uh I feel that tam has been doing a great job because uh for uh like the quote, retweets and everything she adds like some of her like personal uh touch or or like opinions. So this kind of engagement.

This is uh what what uh we think has been uh like the most uh effective.

So uh so, yes, if, uh if you find anything in the telegram group or or the amplify uh channel, uh that's good to go for for retweeting and and if you cannot like some uh personal comment, uh that is, that has been great with engagement so far, uh you wanted to add something david.

No, I personally don't don't use reddit at all, but um one of my peers at another dow does quite frequently and really really like um over at one hive. So yeah.

I don't use twitter, I use I use reddit and quora as my primary uh social media things, not not facebook or twitter. So.

Twitter is just kind of I think the twitter is just to catch their eye and get them into the discord that that's my understanding of the twitter, not to communicate a a detailed message, although it can get into that. But it's it's more just to herd the crowds into discord.

um But I don't doubt that other other accounts would be great.

Well, I mean just to give some context. The reason why I use core is because you can write long form pieces in there right so and then you can answer people's questions and engage with them directly. So they're asking questions about a certain thing and you can answer and given the level of product expertise and um cultural expertise we have in groups like this regarding taos and and crypto finance and other stuff.

You know I can't I can't imagine that we would come off uh as anything but absolute experts in that particular uh regard. I have you know two and a half million views on quora. So um that's not a that's, not a small number. So it's not like you can't connect with people.

uh Would you guys think that it's a good idea that uh I mean the way I name it the dj campaign, but maybe try to get the word out there, for once? We uh I mean not once we have the comments upgrade, but uh as soon as we launch it uh to have like some previous campaign to promote it like uh because I mean my impression of reddit, is that uh that's where most of the like the pump and dump stuff uh happens?

uh So maybe we could use this like to our benefit. To I mean not pumping down power, that's easy token, but get the word out there. um Would you guys, especially those of you, who have a more experience in reddit, uh think that this is a good idea that we could work on.

I'm gonna just reserve my opinion about what we do on reddit. Perhaps it is a good idea, but I think in uh discussing sort of the inventory of where we share information, we left out the forums which is the closest to the experience of reddit long-form content, static content.

You know, discord just passes so quickly and twitter passes so quickly that people might miss a lot of the content there unless they're on it all the time and we've been using medium for you know, updates and longer form, guest blogs, but for the forums uh discourse is where we really have longer internal conversations that we want to be visible to a larger, um a larger group.

And that is almost the equivalent of quora, as as described by.

These uh different um social medias um there's a linkedin of the token engineering commons, but it doesn't have any publication. So maybe it would be good also to even publicate some of the um or link some of the guest blog posts or the blog post that we've written because yeah that's also a very professional social media where we can um um gather attention from people and, like um I don't know um but like I, I linked it myself to that organization and it says that it has 11 employees but um yeah.

So uh sorry, I forgot to uh mention that uh that is like the purpose of of of this content is like okay, so we got together and worked in a bunch of stuff. Yeah um now we were chatting yesterday in the comments stack about uh the hatch communication strategies and jazz asked if we were thinking about sending a newsletter from from the tc email.

I think maybe it's not like we if we would do to do it with a different type of content, because we sent it from the common stack side already and it's pretty much the same people. So we don't want to spam people, but is there anything that could be sent from the tc side for for our mailing list? And then another question is: um should we think about sending like newsletters once in a while or what is our engagement with email and maybe like? We have a strong relationship with one hive.

Are there other projects that we have like established relationship with that we could like activate them and like send them a specific message to like a few projects when we need certain things, certain like engagement, actions or something.

Yes, they they also, uh I mean dosh, mentioned that uh if, if we need their medium for like anything, uh we uh we can definitely uh like, post or or like guest uh post some of that stuff there. So uh the first thing that I wanted to uh uh use that for, though, was for uh announcing the common swarm like uh results of all of the work from the past months, so so that we can like in a way say: okay.

This is what uh one hype contributed with uh for the swarm, and this is what we're doing with it uh in regarding the tc mailing list, uh we're also like all of the forum, uh content that we have and information about parameters, and in all of this I I feel that it's it's gonna be much better once we have uh engaged with uh with everyone who got contributed to the hatch.

So for the uh for for this, uh like hatcher's campaign, let's say uh the purpose of it is gonna, be uh to keep them informed so that they can participate in the votes and and that and and they can be just informed about uh uh each parameter and yeah and and engage uh from there on.

So I feel that, uh right now the the trusted seed mailing list uh can can be good and and open for for uh uh for for for the before we close the hatch, but I would suggest this uh this mailing list for people that, uh like will be like more more active in in in the vote. um Oh great, this is great ivy, the uh for the tc swag.

We are actually promoting this together with uh uh with the pull-up that that I wanted to to mention uh so yeah once uh once we close the hatch uh like right now, we want people to participate into and to like get the formal sense of it, and once we close it, we want to speak more like about the the benefits that this uh that this had um so uh to to uh just to keep on going, because we have uh 15 minutes left.

I I wanted to say that uh manu is gonna, be uh taking over the comms uh working group uh for the next uh couple of weeks, and uh with that I also wanted to uh say that uh asset laser will be taking over the content workshops, and these are going to have a a specific purpose. uh It's an idea that we uh worked on. uh uh We saw that uh we saw that uh noggin was uh pretty busy with the common swarm.

uh So I always liked the idea of this uh pull-up for for hatchers, and we came up with uh uh with this uh with the with the content workshops that are gonna be run by by asset laser, and we came up also with a list of like uh designers that are close to other communities, and we want to get them together in the content workshops and do like some. uh What was the name of it? uh Acid, laser, the the doodle.

Like a doodle marathon, or something like that, I can, I can remember the word that we used, but uh we want to come up with some like also like limited edition designs for the pull-up and and uh be able to distribute this like among uh everyone that participated.

uh As I mentioned earlier, we want to like right now. We want to make the the hatchbot nfd a priority, because it's saying that uh getting much uh more funds, but once we're done with that, uh we want to use this pull-up to as an opportunity to engage uh with uh with with everyone who participated in the hatch. No, no, they they don't have to be like the top ten or anything. So he will be doing this uh uh in the content workshops in the in the next.

uh Also a couple of weeks and he's gonna have a chance to like uh uh run those so uh yeah, it's it we would be.

We would appreciate it a lot and comes if, uh if you could uh uh come by and maybe say, hi and support this uh this space, because I feel that is gonna be very attractive for uh creative individuals to start uh approaching the tc in a more uh let's say uh just in a in in a better way, with uh more with more stuff to do than uh previously, because of how we are um evolving.

Okay, uh so this is uh how it's gonna, so this is what's gonna happen in the in in the next couple of weeks until uh august, the 25th um also uh I mean getting getting a little bit uh ahead of this uh like I, I wanted to try to have the same, uh uh a presence, kind of uh how tam uh did it in in the past weeks or how funka did it when, uh when he, uh when he requested his vacations, uh I'm still gonna be like around and supporting uh the working groups, probably like the only difference, would be to I'm not gonna, be as active in other working groups, uh but around the comes working group, the content workshops and the community call uh I'll be I'll, be touching base with with everyone so, but just so that you guys uh know and also I'll, be very very depending on on telegram.

So if there are any issues uh like I've, I mentioned this to manu and to acid laser. But I extend this to uh everybody that that has uh some some comes inside, especially in this uh at this stage. um Okay, so uh let's uh go quickly over the gravity post uh that huank I wanted to uh talk about. So this is actually some like a way in which we can uh support gravity fur comes so, uh do you want to take it over quanka.

um Yes, right now, um durgadez and I were um writing the post and we um initially like uh placed some of our ideas. But um what we most want in this moment is uh to have the advice process um to receive feedback. uh You can see that levy already commented, and I am super thankful for for that.

But um all of your ideas are are welcome and and your your ideas on how can we improve the the block, the post and um also um the idea would be that that uh in I don't know in one week, maybe we can uh post it um after the hatch and and yeah, and have some like um comps strategy to to to continue inviting people to the graviton training, but right now it's just uh that.

Okay, let's go then to uh our last uh agenda topic, uh which is the comms dow. I just wanted to uh quickly uh like pick up on this, and uh especially if, if you are uh comes uh contributors, this is uh an overview of an idea that we had that we've been talking about uh after after I come back from vacation.

I will try to involve like more serious stuff into this proposal, but just as a reminder uh we wanted to, I don't know if actually like I was uh talking the other day to I can remember who, but maybe basic income wouldn't be the best uh term for defining this? uh Maybe maybe uh like base salary or or something like. This could be a better term for this, but the idea is to have these resources so that comes contributors can have this income in exchange for a determined uh amount of of hours.

During the week where we should be able to cover uh functions that will keep uh uh camps uh going uh and uh this uh the idea would be to have uh kind of like these uh uh hours to be part time, so that we can execute uh much more like serious uh thumbs projects uh on the sidelines. So uh these projects would uh also have like independent funding uh going back to the tc on conference.

I remember that a great uh uh tip on this was to instead of asking for a large sum of money which is going to be more like delayed because of conviction voting. uh uh The idea would be to uh ask for approval, maybe quarterly on smaller amounts or like in isolated projects, so that uh so that we can execute them uh better. So this is, I mean this is what I'm sharing is, is definitely uh uh still an example.

It's like uh like a very uh brief proposal on on how it's gonna work, uh but yeah.

I mean if, for example uh like me and mount one who have been uh talking about the video right, uh which uh we actually like had great great ideas on the year, 200 uh exercise that we did in the unconference and we're basing uh most of this video of this, uh these ideas and notes, but uh so if, if like, for example, we put together like a script or something that can uh actually kick-start a pre-production process, so uh the idea would be to contact like different collaborators and to put together, let's say, a production bible where everything is going to be clear, like uh the script that we're following, how much is it gonna cost to uh produce, and this would be presented as a proposal, so this project that could probably take us, uh maybe like four weeks from pre-production to post-production.

Maybe six weeks, uh we still like, don't know, as I said like this, this was an example um could be a complement of our basic duties in in activities, let's say in in uh in the comms now.

So uh I just wanted to uh uh like pick up on this uh intention, because uh I know that it's uh it's uh like our next steps, like once, we have the uh uh uh the comments upgrade we're gonna be entering this phase, where uh we're gonna be able to uh administer our own uh funding and I'm personally very very happy with what we have achieved in incomes and as much as I have enjoyed uh being a steward for comes.

I would really really like to have a more like horizontal approach that will, uh in a way uh be better for creatives, be just like a better atmosphere for creatives to jump in and to make like proposals and to have ideas and and uh yeah like. I. I like my like the best example that I can think of is is boss, which is like marketing and in one hive, and they have, even though they have like different, like community leaders.

uh I really love how people can approach uh buzz with uh with different ideas and and to take them to uh uh like a a reality where they can be executed. So uh my intention behind this proposal is to kind of model the tc comes down for uh for this and also start uh asking ourselves. How can uh the tec being so? Technical can also be beneficial for uh for creatives and in just in general, like dial communications, it's uh some of the ideas that manu and I have been talking about.

uh So we really really love these ideas and we love uh uh just just to see where we can take uh all of this. If we, if we put together this this proposal, so I just wanted to bring it up again this week. I know I mentioned it last week, but I wanted to bring it up because it's uh it's uh where we see this is uh all heading.

So it's something that we are excited about, and I know that uh especially around anne-marie's uh forum post, which uh I know that I also keep bringing it up, but it's like so so great and it's uh and it's such a great proposal for uh models and on how we're gonna work. If there are any like conversations on this and on how working groups are gonna be uh organized, uh I would just like.

I would just like to uh uh be part of these conversations, as well as having our ideas considered, uh because maybe other working groups could could use this as well. So um yes, this is. uh This is what I wanted to mention about the comes down. um Anybody has some input. uh Oh historic, one go go ahead.

We were talking about this in params and like with the dashboard and just just changing the way that it works, because it also is more in line within the concept of collaborative economics because we're all sort of building on each other, like all the proposals end up being like forked and then added to, and so it ends up being like a collaborative approach that we build it. So it's like at the end of it. It's like moving away from just like the individual, like it's you it's you too, and rather like it's us.

It's us it's us which is like really great team, vibes um yeah. That's what I think.

Yeah, it's like uh you know, not my president, not my economy. I didn't vote for that. You know it's like. We don't want that. Vibe, the the your economy, your choice, aside, not my economy. I rage quit. You know it's our economy, our choice and yeah. You know not everyone will vote for it, but uh some people will vote for other economies. But as a group we make this decision together.
