token
engineering
commons
and,
as
you
may
have
heard,
we
are
testing
out
some
of
our
tech
for
the
commons,
so
we
had
one
test
testing
out
the
bonding
curve
and
buying
tokens
from
the
bonding
curve.
Now
we
are
moving
to
the
next
iteration,
which
is
to
test
conviction
voting
and
this
one's
a
little
more
involved.

just
want
to
take
this
opportunity
to
walk
you
through
the
process,
I'm
going
through
it
the
first
time,
but
I
thought
it'd
be
fun
to
share
what
it
looks
like
in
case.
You
don't
have
the
time
or
haven't
been
able
to
play
with
it.
Yet
so
I'm
going
to
jump
off
camera.
So
you
can
watch
my
screen
as
I
go
through
this.
So
the
first
place
well
conviction
voting.
If
you
hadn't
heard
of
it,
there
is
a

I
can

below,
which
is
sharing
the
kind
of
tldr
and
what
it
is.

It's
basically,
real-time
vote
streaming
and
a
new
governance
tool
to
be
able
to
have
collective
decision
making
by
staking
tokens
on
certain
proposals.
So
the
first
implementation
was
our
ecosystem
friends.
One
hive:
they
were
the
first
to
build
this
application
and
now
the
token
engineering
commons
is
working
to
attach
a
bonding
curve
to
a
conviction,
voting
dow.

there's
a
garden
template
that
we're
working
on,
and
this
is
a
part
of
the
test.
So
our
community
members
have
been
contributing
and
are
able
to
use
their
kind
of
like
cred
or
we
call
it
impact
hours
the
rewards
in
order
to
buy
into
the
test
hatches
and
eventually
our
real
hatch,
which
will
be
happening
in
the
next
couple
of
months.
So
without
further
ado,
we're
gonna
walk
through
here,
and
this
is
my
first
time
as
well.

step
is

we

a

people

talk

start

because
I
really
need
some
new
music

While
I
work,
but
today
we're
going
to
go
to
proposals.

you

sharing
a
guide

how
this
is
working.
So
if
you've

contributing,
you

you

impact
hours,
you
should
be
able

participate

this
testing
process,
but
you
know
this
is
mostly
for
our
developers
to
get
some
testing
as
they
work
into
this
tech.
So
it's
really
cool
that
we
get
this
kind
of
sneak
peek
into
the
process
most
projects.

order
to
ask

that
the
description
is
providing
educational
materials
in
how
to
use
the
conviction
voting
test
via
a
walk-through
video
kind
of
meta.

rationale,
detailed
rationale
for
why
this
matters
this.
This
is
important
for
people
to
be
able
to
understand
how
to
engage
with
this
test
and
understand
how
they
might
use
conviction
voting
once
it
is
built,
and
then,
let's
see
expected,
duration
or
delivery
date.

is
whole
process
of
me
doing.

be
maybe
a
few
people
working
together
on
some
projects,
but
I'm
going
to
just

own

only

this

then

and

and
also
software
development
and

have
some
pricing

liquidity
that
it's
attached
to
the
common
pool
right
now,

based

existing
system
just

we

interface

kind

play

how
we

parameters

test
the
conviction,
voting
mechanism,
so
people
can
kind
of
get
a
feel.

types

conviction
funding

if
you're
going
to
request
funds
for
a
project
or
for
some
work
you
did
and
then
there's
signaling.
So
we'll
do
the
funding
proposal
first,
because
that's
what
most
of
this
is
being
used
for
and
then
we'll
take
a
look
as
well
at
the
signaling
mechanism.

mitigate
proposal
spam,
so

a
bunch

people
don't
go

submit
proposals.

have

purpose

helps
us

cut
down
on
potential
attack
vector,
so
people
have
to
at
least
fill
out.

important
step
for

community
in
order
to
make
sure
that
you
know
these
proposals
are
legitimate
and
that
people
have
went
and
put
the
time
in
to
do
that.
So
I
went

so
you
have
to
first
create
this.
So
if
you
come

and
you
don't
have

action

create
a
proposal
which
can
be
voted
on
by
staking
test
tech,
as
you
can
see,
and
the
required
conviction
for
requested
amount
in
order
for
the
proposal
to
pass
based
on
the
amount.
So
right
now
it's
at
five.
So,
let's
see
what
happens
if
we
change
it
to
a
hundred
now
you
can
see
proposal
might
never
pass
with
requested
amount.
So
the
system,
it's
a
smart
system,
so
it
kind
of
tells
you
you
know.

never
going
to
pass

based
on
an
algorithm,
that's
set
based
on
token
supply

people

can
decide
as
a
community
those
kind
of
parameters,
but
for
right
now
just
for
the
purpose
of
testing,
and
maybe
we
should
let
people
vote
on
their
own.
I'm

to
go
ahead
and
support
this
proposal
and,
as
you
can
see,
I
have

of
my
balance
available
to
support.

since
there
are
no
other
proposals
and
I'm
demonstrating
I'm
going
to

proposal.
So
now
I'm
staking
my
tokens
and
I
don't
spend
them
with
conviction,
conviction
voting
it's
staking.
So
I'm
not
spending
my
tokens.
They
don't
leave
my
wallet.
I'm
just
staking
to
support
this
proposal,
and
so
what
happens
is
over
time
with
my
support
and
as
other
support,
this
will
grow
and
then,
once
I
reach
the
six
percent
threshold,
it
will
pay
out
to
me.
