One of the reasons I joined the board was to kind of get out of my bubble and meet new people, and this has been a great way to do that professionally.

I get a chance to expand my network with my peers for the board, who are from different backgrounds and sectors. I also get to strengthen my leadership, skills and confidence. I.

Think the city level is the level that is closest to the people, and it feels great to give back I think.

You need to be someone that lives works in plays in Toronto, but also has great ideas about what the city can and should be doing, to improve things for Toronto residents. I.

Just find it very personally satisfying to be involved in change and trying to find out ways to make change that make things better for my friends, my neighbors and the citizens I.

Feel like it's really important to be a decision-maker in your own community. At.

The end of the day, it's all in service, of making the city more accessible and leaving it in a better condition than it was for future generations.
