A vch is a vsphere resource pool with an endpoint vm.

Administrators pick the compute, network and datastore resources that the vch has access to.

The endpoint vm has a portlet with info on how to connect to it.

Let's switch roles to an application developer.

Set the docker_host environment variable to point to the vch endpoint.

Run the docker info command to see details about the environment.

Provides enterprise features such as security, identity and management, and is based on the docker distribution.
